An out in the bundus destination 12kms off Mombasa Road. Very scenic and instagrammable, next to Lukenya. Ideal if you are looking for a place to escape from the city bustle. En-route you get to see wildlife like Zebra, Ostrich and Antelopes. There are also some wildlife within the premises. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. The menu offers special meals for family. We ordered chicken and goat meat and they were well done. No complaints whatsoever. Staff are warm and welcoming right from the gate. Buildings are modern and there are villas and cottages where you can get accommodation. It's also a great destination for conferences. The road is still under construction but passable by any type of vehicle - at least during the dry season. It's a bit rough and quite dusty. There's a volleyball section, a football, trampoline, bicycle riding, archery, bird watching, game drives and swimming pool for those looking for outdoor activities to do. All in all, it's a place worth visiting again and again.

Very good resort located in the middle of a vast savanna, must say it's a hidden gem. The service was very good and efficient and the food was tasty. Even during the very busy days, you won't wait for more than 20 mins to get your food ready. The pool is very clean and has a kids' pool has well. There's a huge field where kids can play and run around, and on it, there's a trampoline. Didn't manage to see the rooms but next time I would love to spend a night there. The drive from Mombasa Road to the resort is fantastic, and you're likely to encounter some wildlife along the road. Highly recommended.

A Perfect getaway from the hustles and bustles of the city. Views of wild animals in the surrounding fields including the ostriches. Quite in the interior approx 12kms with a small stretch of tarmac. Ongoing road work construction and that will shorten the distance/time taken significantly

Great place but there was no good reception by the receptionists. We had not booked so they just gave rates and looked busy on their desk. They didn't give us any eye contact.they didn't even talk to us.we had to say "excuse me "and yet we were standing thereπŸ‘The security at the gate was really welcoming though πŸ€”.

It’s that resort that’s perfect for a quick getaway from the city - near yet feels far away (surrounded by wildlife and in the middle of nowhere). Excellent service and beautiful atmosphere

The place was very beautiful. The greenery and the flowers make the scenery quite pleasant and relaxing. The room service was excellent and the amenities were nice. There's a clean swimming pool to unwind, and there are quite a range of activities to take part in. The meals were also delicious and nicely done. However it's located 12 km away from the main road.Definitely worth going for a nice staycation or business retreat.

This is a great location and hotel. However 1) I forgot my power bank in this hotel. While they acknowledged it was There, Getting it back has been impossible. I decided to let it go. 2) This hotel treats you according to your skin colour and perceived class. Classists.

Serene environment and wonderful. However, there customer service is not the best. Specifically, one by the name Jonathan, very poor interpersonal skills and they ooze classism. Terrible customer service for me.

A good place away from civilisation. It's somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Even if you get lost for sure you will be found, don't worry. A place with roads with ends. You hit the SGR, and definitely, you have to turn back. A very relaxed place. Visitors prefer indoors rather than the outside. Despite the clean pool with crystal blue water. They have homegrown gazelles. Domesticated one or is it the resort that's wild. We spotted a group of 6 ostriches, a group of seven giraffes, more than one group's of gazelle, and a size group of zebras. The place is wild flourishing. The rooms were ambience, beautiful and quite roomy. The food was well done and the budget meal. We spent less than 1500 plus a cup of tea. That tea was good. Enough milk. The mutton was well done. And especially the creamed spinach was good. The staff were welcome from the gate to the reception. Peter did a good job showing us around the rooms; the deluxe, the standard, and the family cottages. Kelvin Kariuki also served us on the food and beverage. I wish to commend the gardener. I was told he is called Onesmus. He has done a maverous job on the hedges. Well cut and in line. On exit, please remember to ask for the exit pass. Otherwise, you will be forced to drive back to the reception to collect one. It is required for exit, and nobody will mention it, but the guard at the gate will demand for it.

Stoni Athi's biggest selling point is its location in the wild which means one gets to experience wildlife in its natural habitat. We love their cottages. They're well done. The rest of the stuff is pretty standard, though. Nothing annoying and nothing outstanding.

Located in a really well secluded area away from the town noise equipped with really beautiful rooms though prices are slightly high. It has great service as well as getting to view wildlife as you enjoy your meals. It has very many different activities for you to participate in which are suitable for all ages.

Stoni athi is in the middle of the athi river jungle a place you can run to for a breathtaking getaway. Best place to be especially when you have a whole load of thinking to do. Try it, you won't regret!!

I genuinely enjoyed every moment in this resort! The services were amazing, the location is beautiful and far from busy areas, thus making the area peaceful for a getaway. They also hold a great deal of conferences of which they cater for in such a professional way. The rooms were amazing, however, they'd look super with additional art or decor that speaks volumes about the area and space. I recommend this place. They also have a shooting range which is one of the activities that tells a story of the space. An amazing experience indeed! Another great thing about this resort is they have friendly antelopes grazing around. It truly brings the nature to life. Amazing.

I enjoyed my stay thanks to the professional staff and the ambience. Simply put, a location that brings you the Masai Mara to Nairobi

Great location, about 1 hour 10 minutes drive from Nairobi's CBD, such a therapeutic drive and a good scenery of the Lukenya Wildlife base. The road is under construction, so be careful of dust and the bit of a rough road. The place has a wide open swimming pool, a gym, handball pitch and and ample parking. Great food.. but it will take bit of a longer time for the meals to be ready. Good customer service and reception and very secure.

Great place for a family outing. Nice swimming pool, music. Just ensure you get a gate pass once served so that the security guards at the gate don't send you back

Recently had a workshop here. The location is far from city, but nice getaway. Food was amazing, nothing lavish, but fresh and locally grown. Went for an evening jeep ride around property, saw many animals around. Great service from staff.

The tarmac road was finally completed and we enjoyed the drive. We also spotted some wildlife on the way and at the resort. I didnt like the food because the fries were dry and hard, didnt look fresh. Also there was a school that brought students to swim so the pool was packed and my kids were uncomfortable. We however asked them to leave the kids pool for our children to use and they did

Nothing beats waking up to this view and the chirping of birds. I feel like retiring early and moving here. I’m a country side girl and Stoni Atchi resonates with me.

Generally enjoyed my stay. Areas that require improvement are kitchen dept and kids' games options. Otherwise, the resort is serene, and the staff are very friendly. Housekeeping is awesome.

Highly recommended if you are looking to get away from the city. It's a very beautiful place where you get to drive 12kms off the main road and see a lot of wildlife on the way to and from the hotel.

Serene place to unwind and recharge. Highly recommended getaway. I like the space, fresh food, rooms, conference facilities. The gym is the best I have seen; located in its own compound with beautiful views. While working out you have the opportunity to see wildlife animals.
