My wife and I stopped and had a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. The biscuit was incredibly good, probably would be awesome with just butter and jelly! Staff was cordial, but not overly friendly.… Certainly not a reason to not come in. Proximal to anywhere you want to walk within Ball Ground, will definitely go back again.

Our breakfast sandwiches were so good, we ate them before we could even get a picture! Every menu item we have tried has been excellent! We got the coconut cake for a birthday and everybody loved it. Also had the lemon poppy muffin and it was awesome. Update: we ordered 2 cakes (1 coconut and 1 vanilla cake) for our Christmas party and they were absolutely amazing! Everybody loved them and told us how good they were.

Staff wasn’t the friendliest. They also messed up both of our sandwich orders. The guy who brought them out didn’t even ask who had which or what was on each. Probably could’ve caught the mess up then. Food wasn’t bad though and my wife said she’d come back just for the English muffin. Doubt we’ll be back though. In response to the shops poor response: I guess you missed the part where I said your staff isn’t friendly. When they brought out our food they basically threw it on the table and ran. Your response shows exactly why your staff has poor people skills.

Amazing local bakery. Top 3 including one of my favorites in Germany. The staff is super friendly. If you are having lunch get the chicken salad on a croissant. The croissants might be the best I've ever had. Coffee is great and lots of choices for Breakfast, lunch, or a delightful treat!

If you are passing by the town of Elijay, do stop by at Jill's cakes and bakes. They offer a variety of flavors for ice cream, cheesecake,cookies, muffins, and coffee at a reasonable price.

My mom and I grabbed a quick lunch at this cute little shop. Delicious different types of chicken salad, yummy! The service was good and the staff was friendly. The only complaint I'd was the seating. I wasn't aware they didn't have a couple small tables. They had them outside but it was too cold. I'm recovering from back surgery so the counter/bar stools were difficult. I should've asked them to bring one inside. That's the only way I will come back or when it's warmer. That's disappointing because ALL their pastries looked delicious!!!!

Tried Jill’s Cakes and Bakes at 370 Gilmer Ferry Rd in Ball Ground, GA for the first time and gave it a 3 out of 5 stars. The outside and inside of the bakery were both tidy and clean. The young girl working the register was sweet. I tried 3 different pastries…….. *Cannoli Cupcake *Strawberry and cheese danish *Cannoli The cake part of the cupcake was dry, in my opinion, and the icing/frosting was fair. Would not order it again. The danish was a little better than the cupcake, still just a little on the dry side. Might order it again. The cannoli on the other hand was amazing! The shell was crisp (which is so important) and there was the perfect amount of yummy cream inside. I would go out if my way for these cannolis!!!

I always come to Jill for all my celebrations. Every time it’s always amazing. She even did my wedding cake many years ago. I highly recommend Jill’s cakes to everyone. The german chocolate is phenomenal.

Wow, best blueberry muffin I've ever had! Stopped in this morning on my way to Gibbs Gardens and I'm glad I did! Great muffin, probably had 1/4c blueberries...do yourself a favor and pay them a visit!!!

My daughter and I stopped in for our first visit today... it will NOT be our last. We are huge cannoli fans and they always fall short. Usually being made with marscapone and way too sweet. These are made with ricotta and were perfect! I even learn from the super sweet staff that there was a Cecilian cannoli they sometimes make. I'm Italian and learned something new! Lol. The wedding cupcake was excellent and the peanut butter balls were yummy. Can't believe I passed by all the time and never went in. BTW... the young ladies working there were top notch. Hard to find young people that want to work let alone have great service skills.

Thank God for happy accidents! I was driving through Ball Ground, GA and was pleasantly surprised to find such good food. Tried the chicken salad sandwich with pecans and grapes . . . delicious! I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.
