If you are looking for a new "guilty pleasure" spot, this is it. Food is delicious and while I am sure they have some healthy options, we ordered all the non healthy options lol. First of all, you have to try this place at least once just for the "Walking Tacos". Its a shell-less taco inside a bag of fritos. Delicious! I had it with Beyond meat instead of real meat and it was still delicious. I also had a fried chicken sandwich and by bf had the catfish and grits. The grits were super creamy. Sitting on the patio on a nice day is wonderful. The Bloody Marys were fine—came with a good amount of toppings. The chicken and waffles would’ve been more accurately described as chicken and half of a waffle. For $8, I should’ve known it wasn’t going to be a full waffle, but I was still disappointed. It was very tasty though! The breakfast burrito was fine, nothing special. The service was great! Overall, a good experience.

Stopped by this place on after a long drive, looking for some comfort food and a beer. Atmosphere was pretty cool. Good vibes and nice patio. Service was meh. You place a food order at a counter, pick up your own food, and bus your own table, so was a little turned off by being asked to tip up-front. Menu looked awesome, but the food was overall mid. Pretzel bites were good. Could have been an off night, so I’d probably give it another chance.

One of our favorite spots in the city. Solid 4 stars for staff, food (good burgers, green chili, fish and chips, great tots), and bar selection. Outdoor patio is covered/uncovered, spacious, dog-friendly. My rating is down to 3 stars since they've decided to permantly stop table service because people got used to it during COVID and it saves them money. It is really frustrating to keep going up to the counter to get food and then a drink and then a napkin and then... If you are going to be a meal counter, prices shouldn't reflect the full service style you had when the prices were set. We'll keep going, but I hope they reconsider and bring back table service.

Great local bar and restaurant with a unique ordering/pickup system. You order and your drinks/food are placed on a counter and your name is announced over the speakers to pick up. The food was great and the drinks were served quick. They have a great vibe and awesome large patio as well.

The atmosphere is cool. The space is pretty large and the location is excellent. The staff are nice and accomodating. However, the wings were absolute garbage. They were half cooked and had no seasoning. The house margarita was awful. The shoe string fries were small and lukewarm.

We ordered the: veggie corn dogs (the mustard was so good), smash burger, midway pub burger with fries, patty melt, hot and honey wings, green chicken chili, and Lady’s Choice drink. Also a shot of tequila! The food was very delicious, hot , and fresh. The outside seating was a great bonus. The staff was friendly and moving orders quickly. The menu was limited and the burgers didn’t come with fries, so that was a downer. But overall we had a great time and would love to come back!

I visited this place on a Sunday evening, thinking that it would be packed. But, we were able to get seats outside and the atmosphere was chill. I ordered fish and chips and a few cocktails and everything was superb!

Great place to meet friends and have some drinks. A local favorite. Plenty of room inside and out with covered patio area. Dogs welcome and you can pick up a dog bowl from the rack. Wings, sandwiches and other pub food is very good. Beer by the pitcher!!! For COVID you place your order and they call out your name to pick up your own order. Friendly and efficient staff. Street parking could be a challenge during peak hours.

It doesn't get better than a trip to midway! Whether it's their amazing beer selection or the food, it's a great place to bring the family for a great time in the community! My favorite order is the OTP sticks, Tofu Bahn Mi and lemon pepper wet extra crispy wings!! Thanks for being an amazing establishment in our community.

Great for drinks. Getting your hopes up that your main dish will be an appropriate size will be a blow to your hunger, so keep in mind you’re really spending $20 for the side. I don’t understand how anyone is happy with ordering a 4oz burger (or even the two tiny fish filets for their fish and chips my lunch mate had) for $20 with a drink. But you might be happier after having their large beer selection.

This place has gone down hill since Covid. While it’s still a fun place to watch a game, especially soccer, the food is very mediocre now. I used to love coming here for their wings, but they’ve totally changed up the style and recipe and now they could be the worst wings in the city. The lemon pepper wings we ordered last week were completely inedible—no flavor and not cooked well.

This was a place I enjoyed and frequent alot, however first this Friday this is what I received, shame on the person who brought it out from the kitchen. I’ll just order fries, only thing good.

Friendly East Atlanta pub with an excellent selection of draft craft beers. Lots of TVs and they take pains to label the Sunday games playing on each TV so you can position yourself at the right spot at the bar. Bar fits looked good but I did not eat there on my recent visit. Parking can be tight in East Atlanta village but I found free and legal (I think) parking in a lot across the street behind a vape shop.

Pretty good menu: the fried catfish was spot on, great breading but not too much on a lot of fish and the tartar sauce great flavorful and not too heavy. Fries were good and well salted. My friend had the chicken tenders and was happy with them also good breading, he raved about the BBQ sauce, I concur. BBQ sauce wasn’t too sweet with a good amount of tang. Ambiance was chill. Not a lot of people for a late Sunday afternoon. There is a menu and you order first, pay and then take a seat wherever you want. If you want condiments they’re at the booth tables. Average draft beer selection like other Atlanta pubs. Just a few TVs not a lot so you can have a conversation. Not as much parking so it’s recommended to find parking near by and walk. The patio is dog friendly.

I had a cobb salad with chicken, and it was really tasty! A big salad served in a stainless steel kitchen bowl, which is just how I like it. Fancy salads on fancy plates fly all over the table when you try to toss them. Not this one. Ate on the patio and it was very nice.

Midway. Depending on which day you go, the food will be amazing or just…mid. Never disappoints with the atmosphere. Low pressure bar with great outdoor seating. Understandably a staple for most folks in EAV area.

Ask the owners of the business & they’ll connect you. Every brewery & pub needs a patio like this that is dog-friendly, clean & inviting with live, organic plants in beautiful ceramic pots sourced from small local businesses. So cool! Definitely coming back to enjoy the vibes Midway Pub is radiating. Might as well!

honestly the food and the ingredients are excellent. four stars because the pizza was expensive. and I'm not sure that that's the restaurants fault. inflation could be hitting. I did not expect to spend $50 on a pizza but I also did not expect to taste something worth $50. It was definitely worth it. would like to see it more affordable to buy whole pizzas that are custom made but overall I've got to say their food is great.

If you like a good beer selection and overly salted food this is the place for you. The green chile chicken was amazing and the only thing not over salty.

I had the cobb salad with grilled instead of fried chicken. It was made with very fresh greens, vegetables and huge. My husband loves the burgers here. Their outdoor seating is great and friendly servers too. East Atlanta Village is a great place to catch live music, people watch and browse after dining too.

Great atmosphere for atl sports including atl United, falcons and bulldog games. Great rotating tabs and fair prices. Typical pub food so yummy after you’ve had a few beers

Went here on date night. Had the chicken Philly and my husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich. This food was AMAZING! it was a long wait but it was so worth it. You use the menu or barcode to decide food and drinks. You order and wait to hear your name over the intercom. I loved the outdoor seating. This place is a vibe.

Double Midway Burger with tots and a Greek salad were the move for this spot, good basic pop-up kitchen menu. The place brought great vibes with a nice patio area. The manager Maggie was very accommodating!

So first off, the food and the beer selection are both very solid and alone they merit a stop. However, some friends and I went today to watch March Madness games and hang on the patio.. without seeing if we or anyone else cared, the manager swapped all the outside TV's to the channel the regular season soccer match was supposed to be on 45 minutes prior to any coverage even starting. When we asked if even one TV could be kept on basketball, we were refused. So all that to say, it's a solid bar with nice bar tenders, but the management doesn't care for it's patrons or what they ultimately want.

Nothing to complain about. Fast, efficient, and courteous service. They have so many reviews for a reason.

Chicken sandwiches were fantastic. The burger was good but about 2/3 the size of the bun, not much to it so I’d get the double. You serve yourself so not sure why they list 20-30% tip by default. Great atmosphere. Good fries. Great espresso martini but small, fantastic stout on draft.

Great location and food was good. I had two house margaritas which were decent. It was my first time visiting, which had a good atmosphere. Only downer, I wasn't aware of the operation (how to place order or pick up food). I was left guessing what to do with my used plating and glasses. I eventually returned them to the hostess table which was a first for me.

Great local pub to try tons of beers. Fry's we're so good. Catfish was good like others have described. That thicker breading that crunches. We sat at the bar so service was top notch! And watched some college football!

Worst bar food I've had in a long time. $14 Philly with barely any meat or cheese that doesn't even come with fries, $12 for 2 tiny chicken tenders and a small amount of fries. Everything looked and tasted like it was cooked in dirty oil. You tip after you order only to have to buss yourself... not exactly sure what I tipped for as I did everything myself and could have made better food at home with my eyes closed. Place has a decent vibe for a beer but I'd never eat here again.

Midway has a rather nice outdoor seating area with barrier of plants and shrubs providing a blocking the street traffic. The ordering is a little confusing, there is no indoor dining but the outdoor seating is plentiful. There is line for ordering and on the other side of a barrier, a table with some essentials where they leave your order. It is dog friendly and service was cheerful. Aa far as the food, decent quality but not a large selection, and one of just a few places where you can get a cobb salad.

Great atmosphere, really good pub fare. Great place for a couple or a group. Or dining alone, for that matter. They serve brunch on Saturdays & Sundays 11-2; that's when I went. Great selection of brunch cocktails. Try the Spicy Bloody Mary! Oh, and a WIDE selection of beers (over 100, 30+ on tap) and a huge selection of whiskies. Dine outside if you can!

Kudos to the midway pub for a setup that keeps employees safer from the coronavirus by staying separate from the customers. You order and pick up your food behind a plastic panel so the staff don't have to walk around where customers have their mouths open. Everything is outside, lots of patio space and even patio space by the back parking lot so you can be away from other people. Also fries are delicious!

Very pleased with the service and the friendly customer service. Great ambiance followed by a well spaced out patio. Food arrived very quickly and it was fresh! Great 1st time experience.

I crave the chicken tendies. Idk what they do but my word.

Philly Cheesesteak was tip- top- magoo!! Service: 0 Stars Rude(male) cashier who yelled at people to put masks on customers. This kind of treatment left a bad taste in my mouth. After digging my "facial covering" out of my pocket I noticed two kitchen staff not wearing masks and I glanced over at the bar and noticed no one wearing a mask while at the bar. THIS IS FASCIST PS. Communal water jug really contradicts logic during PANDEMIC.

We’ve lived in the village for 5 years and this has always been our favorite spot in EAV. Awesome patio, great food and a really good selection of beer and alcohol. The entire staff is the best. If you live in East Atlanta and you’re not coming here, you’re doing it wrong.

Well this place is a great place to go and chill out after a long day of work with friends, family,boss or just to laugh the service is so friendly and when you look around there are a whole lot of things on the menu, walls to see and read. They have tables on the outside as well .they have taken out on their online websites. They do have to go Belvedere plenty of parking space every where .Great Place 👏👏👏👏👏

Menu is limited. -1 star Tables are stickyy -1 star Food is normally pretty good. I feel having the garage doors open whenever possible would be a huge +1 for this location. Broaden the menu a tiny bit and decrease the tables. I've been coming to this spot for about 5 years now. This isn't the input of some urban dweller stopping in from his posh apartment. This is needed.

Bloody Marys and the bartender were ok, but the chicken tenders were burnt and just awful. The fries would have been great had they not been cold. I was on the patio, but no one ever came to the table, so I had to go to the bar to get service. There are too many other great places in EAV to eat at that there is no need for me to ever return.

The Midway is one of our favorite patio bars in town. Service is consistently good and everything on their menu is fantastic. Their double decker chicken sandwich is incredible. They are very dog friendly and there's a great vibe. A must visit.

Solid local pub. One bit of advise, the chairs on the patio are not great for sitting for long periods of time, so choose wisely if there are the bench seats or indoor seating available.
