I love this place! This is the epitome of getting away from the Glam and glitz of downtown midtown Atlanta. Small corner neighborhood bar with really good food and great drinks. The staff is super friendly and the place is so small it's hard to describe it anything other than cozy, but still totally a dive, which I love! The habanero mango buffalo wings are just absolutely ridiculously good. I have no idea how they get everything so crunchy. When you go make sure you look up into the ceiling rafters they've got money from all around the world stapled to the ceiling which is pretty cool. Great place to watch a game, not because they have tons of TVs, but because there's very few douchebags, 🤣🤣🤣

Good location (you might even get a celebrity sighting--see photo). Fun atmosphere (depending on the night). Fair prices. I still give them 5 stars, but they need to do a better job of staffing. On some busy nights they only have one bartender, which makes getting served miserable. I recognize they can get packed unexpectedly (it is near some "conference hotels"), but a quick phone call to a fellow bartender would make the one working happier (less stress), make the patrons happier (quicker service...ability to buy more rounds), and earn the emergency bartender some decent cash.

Good beer specials. Yummy wings. Like the lemon pepper and Chicago rub Updated...still great! Awesome beer selection. Friendly bartender. Amazing wings!! We had lemonyaki and jerk. They were delicious!! Great bartender! Amazing beer selection. Open late. Smoking if you like that.

Such an amazing service we've received here tonight. ❤️🙏 We visited Atlanta for the weekend and dropped in for couple of beers. We were from Budapest, sitting on the upper level of the pub and would like to express a huge shout-out from us to the lady serving us all night. She deserves a raise! Great job and would definitely recommend the place! 🤘

Dive bar, but clean, great food, unique. Anti-Corporate, “public house” vibe. As a draft beer partisan, I hesitate to call any joint without taps a bar, but this place DEFINITELY fills a niche. The “we stopped our customers from smoking because we HAD to” niche 😂. Both times I’ve been, others spontaneously burst out into singing along with the awesome oldies music, and I joined in. PFA pictures of: Margarita: 7/10: Really pretty good, but not quite as much character as a Tequila-powered bar. Simple-sweetened maybe?! Blackened salmon: 7/10: Carefully grilled, fresh vegetables, bun’s not junk. Salmon flavor is prominent and not toooo fishy. It’s a unique experience having food this good at a dive! Mac & Cheese: 7/10: Only this low because I prefer sharper cheeses in my Mac. If you like a more mild, comforting cheese flavor, then you’ll give a higher score.

The heart and soul of midtown where locals come to let it all hang out. Everyone mixes and has a great time. Bartender Mary efficiently manages a busy bar and is friendly and awesome. Great beer selection and a wonderfully curated list of whisky and tequila. Highly recommended.

I’ve been coming here many times since moving to Atlanta 2 years ago, as I had found great wings after quite the search. Service and treatment tonight within 30 seconds of walking in was abhorrent, by a Person who had served me many times but clearly had no recollection (fine whatever) and embarrassed me while i was looking for a seat. I moved a drink to next seat at bar because gentlemen sitting at bar said he thought it had been abandoned and server had indicated it was okay to move to that area. Server then said I was rude for moving the drink over “you can sit here or you can sit there but not here because there’s a beer here” and quite sarcastically then said “how can I help you sir?” I was really floored by the tone and tenor of a person I thought would at least recognize me from the many times I’ve visited this place, and not act as if I’d walked out of the hotel next door. I stood there for a second and decided to just leave. May not sound like a big deal but it is when it’s coming from your “go to” place. Sometimes it’s not what you say but how you say it. People in the service industry should know this. I came here tonight to have a relaxing time after a rough day. Regretfully will not be back. Sickening because I loved their food (in moderation) and talked them up to all out of towners and locals. But too many good places in this city to have to put up with this kind of service even once. So disappointing. Will not be back and will steer people away.

I loved this place...but I got food poisoning from one of the items (Parmesan Chicken Wings) I ordered and called the Pub the next day. Rather than empathy, David, the acting manager at the time I called, got very defensive. I asked for the owner with no success. No, "sorry to hear that" but rather "I had the same thing you ate and it was perfectly fine." They had one of their colleagues (a lovely person who must have felt she had to tow the company line) call me...but sadly she was also very defensive as a long-term employee with a vested interest. Shawn snapped at me and said without a receipt I can do another. (He also offered nothing and then said "why should I believe you?!!!) I offered an Amex receipt but he wasn't interested. Such a shame as I'd thought very highly of this place over the many months I'd been going there. I'd even sent many of my colleagues there and everyone was delight with the Pub as was I. I wasn't asking for a refund...but rather the intention of my call was to alert them to the incident. That intent was lost because they seemed to think I was looking for a refund. Not the case at all.

The food was eeehhh and the place was EXTREMELY crowded. The people were cheerful, with and without libations. The service of the waitstaff was superior.

Great bar. Shannon is rad, the vibe is great, and much nicer now without the smoking.

Awesome bar with great atmosphere. Large tequila choice and Clase Azul Extra Anejo was amazing. Hard to find in a bar. Definitely going back.

A great local Tavern. It's a small space, but if you just hang out for a minute a table will open up for you. We usually just grab a seat at one of the big tables and enjoy a beer (excellent selection of beer and spirits) and food. The menu is pretty short, but everything is good. Staff is great and the bartenders are always comical and personnal. If your in a grouchy mood and not wanting to be around people this may not be your spot. Socialable and fun...thirsty and hungry you'll feel like you're home.

Great late night “pub”. As other posters have said, there are no drinks on tap. Which would be a negative, but the atmosphere, food and Eleventh being the only bar open so late near Tech campus brings the score back up. Seriously, do not skip out on the food. The chicken tenders and wings are bomb.

Well i am 28 years old I got a good recommendation to come here to eat and the drinks were awesome. I didn’t have my wallet with me but I did volunteer my Apple wallet ID that I wanted to show because a lot of places allow me to show my Apple ID, which is my real identification card and the guy that was working needed to see my ID and I told him I lost my wallet but I didn’t get any good energy from him at all. I would at least thought that he would have at least looked at the picture of my ID that I have stored in my iPhone in my options, I was highly recommended but didn’t turn out good I got all the way up there for no reason I went to another place show them my ID so I think that the person should have the same thing as well especially my first time there

Drinks were cheap. Service was fast and friendly. Menu was large. It was jam packed full (which is fun to me for a pub especially). Enjoyed it.

Always awesome. One of the last "authentic Atlanta" vibes left. You might have a drink with a former NBA MVP, a Dishwasher, and a Tech Mogul in the same night. Truly one of a kind.

Best bean burger and sweet potato fries in Atlanta (if not beyond). This place feels like home, unpretentious and hospitable. Come as you are.

Good food with great service and street views. Quite loud and slightly tight seating. Prices are reasonable, though. Good spot for a low key date or hanging out with a friend.

Great dive bar with wonderful and friendly staff. It can get very busy late at night, be prepared for a crowd and to wait for your drinks when it's busy.

  • 4/5 Travis “Travy” T. 2 years ago on Google
Solid pub fare and great service. Pub is on the small side and gets pretty busy so it is likely to be cramped during peak times. Prices are reasonable for the mid-town location.

Great Midtown spot open late for refreshment and a bite to eat. Broad selection of beers. The Brussel Sprouts appetizer with honey & Sriracha is delicious if you can take some heat.

Very...Small, intimate, not sure how the food taste. However the customers say it's pretty awesome. The menu is changing in 2 weeks, the current menu looks great.

It's a nice cozy bar with good service, and all the drinks you would want. It's not quite a dive bar and not quite fancy. The whole place from staff to patrons lacked diversity, but this is my first time and maybe it's better on different days.

It's only taking 30 years to find another true pub. No splashy cliche Celtic names, the trotsky's covering the wall of Scotland and the others, just a truly comfortable friendly traditional pub. All I can describing anyway else-- if you been to pubs and you're a fan of pubs on the exactly what I mean. This is a definite visit and I can't wait to be back...

  • 5/5 Ken V. 2 years ago on Google
I walked in to get food to go. The bartenders were sweet and friendly. The wings were awesome. I had some mango Habanero and some hot traditional. I will probably try and hit this pub everytime im in the neighborhood. I went in at ten Pm on a Tuesday and it was packed. It's a small venue that seems to be well loved by the locals.

  • 3/5 Eddy G. 1 year ago on Google
The service was kind of questionable. I’m pretty sure the person who waited on us was quite drunk. There wasn’t much open, and needed a bite to eat, so I ended up here. The food was actually quite good. The burger was unique, and delicious. Probably not the kind of place I’d choose to go to again though.

The best bar in midtown. Literally service doesn’t come better than from Mary & Shannon. So thankful to have this bar in my neighborhood. The beer selection is excellent, and they have Fernet. What else could a person want?

The best bar I have been to in Midtown!!!! Every time we have gone the food has been 10/10 as well as the service. Alex is an amazing bartender and makes decisions for me on food and beverages. It is right in front of my apartment building and I always leave very happy and relaxed. This is the best place to go after a long day at work when you need to unwind.
