Great time with great service. Interesting that we were waited on and served by at least 7 or 8 different people during our time, but it was nice to have the attention and it ensured we were never waiting for refills or such. Lots of drink options and varieties of beers. We split the fried pierogis as a starter. Delicious with caramelized onions and spiced pecans. Four of them were tough to split three ways but we figured it out. For main, I chose the burger. On a toasted sesame seed bun, I upgraded to the pimento cheese and while it was nice, I think the usual American cheese would be been just fine. I also subbed Brunswick stew for the fries and it was quite tasty. Odd to have stew with a burger but I enjoyed that quite a lot. The burger was tasty, moist, delicious. Really enjoyed the meal. Definitely would return to Brick Store Pub.

Really freaking awesome place. No wait. Server was nice. Atmosphere was laidback. Not too loud for a bar. Food came out quickly and we never felt rushed. Hubby did not like his Yazoo drink - it was too sour for him. But the food was exceptionally good. The fried pierogies was freaking phenomenal. Fried mashed potatoes have never tasted so darn delicious. The sauce it paired with was sweet and the pecans added a crunchy texture to the mix. Seriously - so yummy. The pork belly basket was soooooo good. The portions look small at first glance but was more than enough as an entree. Hubby enjoyed his fish and chips and my kids enjoyed their burgers. The fries were excellent. I rarely give out 5 star reviews but this place earned each one!!

This was the best place I went to in town. The ambiance was great and the service was attentive. The best thing about this pub is the beer selection. I’ve been to places with more beer but everything they had was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will come back for sure when I’m in town.

Restaurant and adjacent beer garden in the back area. Beer garden is a separate entity with its own bathroom, small found truck with limited menu. Nice outdoor space for a quick snack and drink. The old fashion was not as nutty as I thought it would be. However, the other drinks were quite nice.

Okay. So this is a REALLY cool pub in Decatur, Georgia. Food is actually quite good. Ambience is amazing. For a moment, I thought I was in a London pub.

We were with friends who suggested we come here for dinner and it was a perfect setting. We sat in the beer garden and had a great meal. The field green salad was a perfect size and super fresh, and my boyfriend loved the Mr. Beef & Cheddar Sandwich. The soft pretzel was perfect and the biscuit app was such a great idea! Our service was pretty good, though my boyfriend’s mom only ordered hummus and it didn’t arrive until after we were basically all done with our meals. We inquired on it several times and they kept saying it was coming. It seemed strange for that to be the dish that would take the longest. Regardless, we enjoyed a nice dinner here.

One of the great beer bars anywhere. Dark interior, classic old style pub. Large main bar, with two bars upstairs, one focused on Belgians and the other on cask ale. Great food, great service. Unique themed events. Atlanta’s version of Monk’s. Get there early and you might snag a pot pie or pot roast!

Unbelievable. Had a short notice get together of about 40 family members after a death in the family. Called numerous places, Brick Store had the room, the small plate menu, two people behind the bar, and I'm honestly taken back by how they could manage bringing drinks out, handling menu orders, remembering faces and drinks, and even keeping up with interesting small chit chat. Food was spot on, no complaints, only praise from any of the guests in our party. The kitchen manager (Albert?) came up to check on us during and after his shift. Will be back to this small spot nestled in a cozy spot in Decatur.

Always enjoy going to Brick Store Pub with their incredible selection of awesome beers, wine and cocktails. Every beer is served in the proper glass, as it should be. Good food selection as well but we were just stopping by for libations. We’ll be back? Of course! Also, very cool that the antique time punch clock in the bar area is keeping time just fine.

The soft pretzel came out hard as ever. As a Philadelphian, I truly appreciate a really good soft pretzel. The burger was pretty good according to my husband and I thought the chicken sandwich was ok. It was a crowded night but the staff was pretty nice.

I stopped by for a delightful lunch one day and came across this neighborhood pub. The hostess and waitress were kind and I believe I ate the best thing ever were the perogies and kale Caesar salad. It was out of this world 🌎 good.

Interesting pub with nice ambiance, large diverse beer selection, very good food and service. Outdoor pet-friendly dining available at tables in front of the pub. The Fish and Chips was very good -- crispy and tender.

We made the trip over from Midtown Atlanta yesterday when the weather was less than perfect to check out the new outside beer garden - they have beer from my hometown on tap! I haven't been to the inside of Brick Store, but their menu looks amazing (outside beer garden is a different menu of small bites). Service outside was great and I enjoyed getting to have Champagne Velvet as a taste of home! Can't wait to come back to try the inside menu as well.

Very cool place in downtown Decatur. We were hoping to sit in their beer garden, but it was still closed (opening in early April, we visited in late March). We had a couple of beers and pretzel & perogis for appetizers. Then had the Brunswick stew and open-faced chicken salad sandwich with Brussel sprouts, which were both delicious! Would hope to visit again when back in the area.

The Brick Store Pub in Decatur, around for decades, has always been a delight. The food is tasty and above par, from appetizers to the entrees. We stopped by for a couple of drinks in their new back patio area. They have their own small kitchen, a bar (with beer on tap!), to satisfy your requests quickly. This is a new area and they just added a full wall mural of elves and mushrooms. Here they delivered my Crooks pilsner in a Crooks mug. Nice touch. Been going here for years, will continue to do so, and I live 45 min away. Worth every mile.

The bartenders and servers were on it. Very helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to the drink. Great atmosphere and great food. The mural on the wall is a piece of art, impressive and well preserved and thankfully it's history is shared. The same carpenter that preserved the wall did an outstanding job on the bar. Definitely a place that I look forward to coming back. Cheers 🍻🥃

What an awesome experience! I've heard about this place for years, and it lived up to the hype! Food was delicious, and the service was friendly and great. I wish we could have spent a few more hours exploring the Cellar and more on the menu. Absolutely reccomend stopping here. Just get in early, it packed out quick

This was my first time visiting and I was impressed. The service was good, the food was great and it was just an all around good experience during these difficult times we’re living in. The dressing that they use on their salad was EVERYTHING. I could have really ordered a bigger salad but my veggie burger was good 😊 my friend enjoyed his chicken sandwich and I would recommend and will definitely be back

Approaching the pub, I noticed street parking nearby was pretty scarce – all spots taken. I had to settle for a nearby public parking deck. After a short walk, we reached Brick Store Pub. It looked small from the outside, but we were surprised by the spacious interior, featuring many nooks and crannies to enjoy a beer, thanks to its multiple levels. It felt like stepping into an old English bar. Heading to the second level to join our group, we reviewed an extensive beer list, being served up by both the upstairs and downstairs bars. The bartenders were friendly, letting us sample various options before settling on a choice. I decided on a Stout while Wifey tried a Lager.  The room we occupied continued with the old-town tavern vibe. As we enjoyed our beers, we ordered food, Wifey went for the fish and chips, thoroughly enjoying it. I opted for a turkey sandwich, which turned out to be quite plain – exactly as described, nothing too special. Despite that, I'm definitely planning to return and explore some other options from their extensive beer selection.

Visiting the Atlanta area and Decatur. Came here to BSP on my birthday week -- accompanied by sister who recommended it. Service was prompt, and got seating for two indoors rather quickly. The server lady was rather kind and accepting for the most part. Allowed us to sample and taste-test a few of the alcoholic drinks. Ultimately, for drinks our table had the: - Creature Comforts, tastes like flowers (6 oz) - Cigar City Maduro (half-pint) Both drinks were good. I sampled a few, wasn't excited by anything, and after apps I sampled the Maduro, and decided I liked it, so I ordered a half-pint off the menu. The drink is shaped like a cigar, hence the name. It had a deep, rich, and manly taste to it, that I decided agreed w/ me after all. I would get it again. For apps, we had the Pork Belly. It came w/ bread, and was pretty spot on. A bit on the fatty side, but that's as expected for the dish. I had the Classic Grilled Chicken sandwich after much debating. Wanted to try beef, but I'd had steak the day before, so wanted to limit my intake of red meat. The chicken sandwich was acceptable, and rather spot on. Went well with my drink, I will say. All in all, the ambiance was quaint and old school, and gave off authentic pub vibes. I decided that I liked it. Overall, I would recommend stopping by this place if you are ever visiting the Decatur area of Georgia. It is a pretty decent pub, good food and lots of menu choices, have a rating system built into their online menus, and drinks have sufficient variety and taste -- it helps that they allow you to sample as many drinks as you like. Try the BSP out, you won't be disappointed!

We were greeted kindly! Asked for a table for 3 and we were able to sit right down quickly on a Friday night! They have many seating options! I ordered the chicken pot pie because the reviews raved about it! They're not wrong. Please try it! 😂 it was amazing! It brought me joy. 🫶 They have a pretty big drinks menu and all the beer is served in the appropriate glass! Loved the entire experience and can't wait to go back!

Such a fun and casual atmosphere! The waitress was AWESOME! Super fun to talk with and had great recommendations!! I ordered the fish and chips but I wish I ordered the pot pie, it looked fantastic!! Personally, I thought there wasn’t much to the fish and chips, not much flavor.

Brick Store Pub's great service will stand out; waiters/waitresses are helpful and knowledgeable about both the drinks and the restaurant's interesting history. The food is excellent and the restaurant has the comfortable atmosphere of a Northern European pub.

  • 4/5 Charles S. 3 years ago on Google
Food and drinks are good here! The burger was good, but the bun could have been better. Bourbon drink list was above par, with hard to fine bourbons like Henry McKenna 10 year and Larceny Barrel Proof (not saying they will be here when you get here) and the atmosphere was on point. This is my favorite restaurant that I hit when visiting Decatur, GA and I would definitely come back again. I love the upstairs bar, but it was closed due to precautions.

BSP has been a special place for us for over ten years. Many memories in the dining room, Belgian Beer Bar and now patio! Their food is always spot on. We were so happy to see the way they have adapted to pandemic life. The back patio is excellent!

It's always a fantastic treat to enjoy a beer you select from a menu as thick as a text book. They have an unbeatable selection of spirits and beer with a great staff. The food was fantastic can't wait to go back! The vide is a true European pub, welcoming small quaint in the upstairs level.

  • 5/5 Leslie W. 2 years ago on Google
The beer selection at BSP is unmatched! Love their chicken pot pie (limited availability), fish and chips are incredible, but I haven't had anything bad on the menu. The environment is cozy and unique, and the service model is interesting (not necessarily a dedicated server). It's a must-visit for the area.

i come to the jenis ice cream in this area all the time and never knew this place was here. it was recommended by people on Reddit. checked it out today and I was impressed. both me and my wife enjoyed the arugula salad, it's small but I guess it's a pub portion. the short rib pot roast was hittin, scopin up the remaining gravy with the piece of bread is magical. copped the pound cake for desert, and they give you a nice piece. the cake was warm, wasn't dry at all, someone who cares made it. it's comes with apple and some cream sauce on the plate. very nice desert. theres a bunch of beer wine here, I ain't really into beer but you might be. this place is nice, check it out

My friends and I really enjoyed this craft beer bar and restaurant located in the heart of downtown Decatur, Georgia. It has an extensive selection of craft beers, both on tap and in bottles, as well as its menu of pub-style food and Southern specialties. The pub has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with a historic brick building, wood-paneled walls, and a warm and friendly staff. You can tell it is a popular spot for both locals and tourists as there was always a line despite the massive amount of seating they had . It is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that both families and groups of friends can enjoy together. I honestly drank enough that I can't remember much else, but the food was tasty clearly made with fresh ingredients with an expert Southern touch. Overall, the Brick Store Pub is a top-notch establishment that offers a wide range of craft beers and tasty pub-style food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is a must-visit destination for anyone in the Decatur area looking for a high-quality craft beer experience.

Always delicious. I love swinging into Brick Store when I'm in the square. The food is amazing (love the Pierogies), the beer list is long and full of great options, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend stopping in.

We sat outside since it was nice day. When we looked inside the pub it looks great, cozy ambiance very nice decorated. Beer selection is large, we had 2 appetizers Hummus plate large and nice portion to share and fried pirogy. The fried pirogy suffer from too much oil but still it was tasty with the beer. Menu show another nice items that we should check next time. Service fast and friendly.

Don’t order the fish and chips. See photo for a closer look at the fish. It was mostly batter and the inside of the batter was wet. Tons of batter with a tiny bit of unflavored fish. I pulled off the batter on each piece and there was almost nothing to eat. My sister ordered the pot roast and it had a lot of cornstarch in the gravy. My mom ordered the burger and it was good. Play it safe and order the burger. We spent $63 for 3 meals (no drinks) and it was the worst food I have had. I never leave bad reviews but for that amount of money, I feel like you need to know that it’s not good.

  • 5/5 Trent H. 3 years ago on Google
If you've not been here yet, I would suggest fixing that as soon as possible. Excellent atmosphere, and the best fish and chips in Atlanta. They are open for dining in with somewhat limited seating, but we got right in. The menu is by phone only and they are asking to use cards or exact change if possible. Also masks are required for portions of the visit.

Might look busy from the street, but this place has plenty of seating and we were even seated immediately on Saint Patty's day! Food is incredible, some of the pairings you wouldn't think would go together end up being an adventure for your taste buds. The Alfredo pierogi was phenomenal, as well as the trout plate. 5/5 would recommend!

It was good... but there were a few issues. I did do takeout during COVID 19, and their process was very simple and easy. However, the meatloaf was cold, and the pimento cheese plate serving size is questionable for how expensive it is. Some of the serving sizes just don't match the price.

Good food and drinks, good service, great atmosphere. We loved the walk-up beer window on the side of the restaurant! We enjoyed our beers and cocktails, the chicken melt, and pretzel appetizer (although the side of brussel sprouts was just so-so). The staff was friendly and the restaurant took plenty of precautions to protect patrons and staff from coronavirus.

Love this place. Went for a late lunch and the experience was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. The wait staff was amazing and very friendly. They greeted, were very informative and worked as a team. The food was amazing. I had the chicken sandwich which I can say was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had hands down. My friend has the turkey sandwich and that was amazing too.. Definitely support this business!

A Decatur must visit if you like Beer, Whiskey, Great food, cool atmosphere, and otherwise vacation in a restaurant. It will kinda make you feel like you're in an old tavern in the past (real past old tavern or lord of the rings tavern depending on your preference). The beers are actually reasonably priced, unless you WANT to order a $300 beer then you can. The food has been great every time I've eaten there (didnt this past time and wish we had). Service is always friendly and relatively quick mostly for how busy they kinda always are. Keep going brick store, Decatur wouldnt be the same without you.

One of the best bars on Decatur square and world class for it's beer options. They make a mean chicken pot pie, and the door handle is a giant tree branch. When you walk in you feel like you've stepped back in time. Pro tip: head upstairs for the Belgian beer bar.

  • 5/5 Kevin G. 4 years ago on Google

Fish and Chips are the BEST! Recently ordered a small Fresh Blend/Greens salad and it was tasty but really over priced for the portion. The full size that I saw someone order is possibly worth the price so I won't order a small salad again from this spot. The soft pretzel was worth every yummy bite. Absolutely LOVED the housemade pimento cheese not so much the spicy mustard.

Do you like high quality food and vast selection of imported craft beers while enjoying the vibe of a cosy wood tavern? This place is for you. This is one of the best places in town. The staff is awesome and the food has to be in the top 5 for the area, can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The drink selection is also above par giving patrons a huge opportunity to explore flavors generally harder to find. Brick Store is a must visit location and makes me wish there was something like it in Orlando.

Best beer selection in town, hands down. Ask for the Beer Bible when you go. It's leather covered booklet with a chain on it attached to the table, but sometimes it can be hard to spot. Food is good as well. Not a lot of vegan options but the one they do have is tasty. It's a favorite spot of mine. Will be returning.

Must try the trout with the crispy skin. They have one of the most extensive beer selections in Decatur (way more obscure varieties than you can find at the other place with lots of taps). Interior just had a very warm, hospitable, cozy feel to it, especially upstairs in the Belgian bar. Though, I do wish they would start having a seasonal menu...
