Absolutely enjoyed Six Feet Under. To start, we shared the calamari, fried oysters, quesadillas, conch fritters, and oyster Rockefeller. We also ordered a fried platter (with oysters, shrimp, cod, hushpuppies, and chips.), spicy buffalo chicken sandwich, onion rings, and collard greens. Of course, I had to get drinks as well. We split a pitcher of the "Killer" House margarita, a glass of chardonnay, and a peach margarita. Everything was absolutely delicious and our server was extremely attentive. I truly enjoy visiting new spots but I absolutely can't wait to go back.

So, do I fuss about the tip that is applied automatically when the bill is over an amount, when normally a tip is automatically applied when a table has more than so many people? There was a written notice, but i missed it. I ended up tipping approx 42% on my bill. The food was fine. Nothing amazing. Fish and chips mostly at our table of our table of 4. Drinks were good. The atmosphere was fun, across from the landmark cemetery and a relaxed environment. Server and intro persons were nice, so the extra tip to the server is fine, but I'm still ruffled. I don't think the price before my mistake was really worth it... but it was soooo not worth it after my mistake. Am I wrong to review lower? Or is it a warning for those on vacation who have let their hair down? Be aware, pay attention. Enjoy cautiously.

We heard that this place was a MUST so we knew we had to try it! We really enjoyed not only the food but vibe and environment! It was a great place for a delicious bite. The staff was awesome and food was quick. We decided that the food was definitely worth the price, the portions are VERY filling and we could have definitely shared our meal as one but we still loved everything we got! If we’re ever back in the area we’ll definitely come back for more!

Dear Six Feet, Your food was pretty good. The guitar artwork was lovely. I had to deduct two stars, however, for the 20% gratuity that our party of three was charged THAT NO ONE EVER SAID A WORD ABOUT EVEN THE SERVER WHEN WE HANDED HER A CASH TIP. What a racket! I feel like I came to your restaurant in a pandemic to support local and drop $100 for lunch, and you repaid me by stealing money from me. No thanks. Buyer beware. If your bill is over $50, your 20% tip is included!

Amazing atmosphere! Super fun pub across from the cemetery which gives it that creepy cool vibe. Food is excellent. The blackened catfish is superb. I have ordered blackened catfish from a multitude of restaurants and always ask for tartar sauce as a dip, but this catfish was so well flavored that it was perfect as ordered. The fried Okra is exceptional. Great flavor and wonderfully battered. There is a full bar but the ATL old fashioned is a perfect addition to any meal. I also had the cemetery sour which was delicious. Several desserts to choose from. The bread pudding is not too sweet and not as soggy as most puddings are, it's a must try.

Six feet under is located directly across from the Atlanta public cemetery, so that's where the name comes from. The atmosphere was really good, except they had their air conditioner brake. The waitress was amazing and did an excellent job. The food was really good and had a lot of clever names. Based on other reviews, I was aware of the tipping situation, where if your entire party spends $100 then the tip is automatically added. So be careful when you go there, but it is clearly indicated on the menu what this policy is. The place is meant more for adults, but they do allow children. The atmosphere is full of beer, partially naked women, and even Johnny Cash flipping you off in a picture on the ceiling.

A classic Atlanta hotspot. Solid pub style food with a cool rooftop. Started off with the conch fritters and Moved on to the fish and chips. Tom went with the shrimp and scallops, tangy with lemon baked very nicely not to heavy on the oil. Yummy!!!

I needed a quick fix after leaving the Georgia Aquarium and this place did not let me down. 😂 I ordered the seafood basket with catfish, fried shrimp and scallops. The staff was excellent in food suggestions. First time having fried scallops and will try again. The catfish was tender and the shrimp was cooked properly. Also had the gator bites for an appetizer. Not too shabby! I would eat there again in a heartbeat!

This wasn't my first time at 6 Feet Under, and I'm sure it won't be my last. Just some real good eats, in a really neat part of Atlanta. And they have good beverages, too. The prices might seem a little steep, but trust me, the food is worth it. I had a bowl of gumbo and Kim had crab cake sliders. So darn good.

MP was too inflated for me. I was told well over 100% markup for just 1 lb of snow crab, so I passed. Luckily there's plenty of other good food here. The salads you could get a soup and salad combo, but no offer to add proteins to a salad. So I had a spinach salad, jalapeno hush puppies, and onion rings. The onion rings had a perfect thin batter. Hush puppies had a hint of jalapeno flavor, but not much. I asked for butter and was brought melted butter instead of solid butter, which was odd to me getting it for hush puppies. The bacon vinaigrette for the spinach was really good. Had amazing service from Bella.

Six feet under right in the heart of Atlanta is a great afternoon, evening or night dining spot. Atmosphere is definitely a pub vibe under the sea experience. Everything I ordered was phenomenal. I ordered fried calamari, fried green tomatoes, cod fish basket, fish sandwich with zucchini fries, corn on the cob and a lobster roll. I will say the lobster roll were expected to be served hot but it was served cold. With so many options on the menu you have no choice but to come back and try something different. 10/10. The drinks were a nice mix!

We had a date day in Atlanta and we stopped here for lunch. AMAZING! We ordered the gator bites and I have to say, incredible! These beat anything I’ve had in Florida. Next we ordered The Steamer. Mussels, shrimp, oysters, sausage, corn on the cob, crab legs, potatoes, and hush puppies! Talk about out of this world! Courtney took great care of us and service was top notch!!! Food: 10 Service: 10 Atmosphere: 10 Cleanliness’s: 10

The Crab Cake Sliders 🦀 and Combo Basket was everything our server Alex, said they'd be! The restaurant's ambiance caters to your socializing and entertainment must-haves! The seafood is just as fresh as it is delicious. Our server Alex offered an amazing vibe and outstanding suggestions; she was most certainly delightful!!! Six Feet Under will become a regular and I can't wait to experience its nightlife!

The parking is tricky 😆 but it is worth it. The establishment was cool and beautiful to look at. I believe they had and upstairs too. The food was amazing and the drinks were made to perfection. Our family enjoyed our meal there. The kids and I shared the Snow Crab boil and my husband had the burger and fries. I advise everyone to go.

Loretta our server was great and super honest about the menu and she was very helpful. The food was good not as good as I would expect for the price but definitely good. The drinks were good as well. The food is fried to perfection though nothing was over cooked. Honestly just a little over priced for what it is but definitely good.

I had a great experience all around at Six Feet Under. The food was delicious. The service was great. And the restaurant was extremely clean. I had the baked white fish entree in the restaurant, and ordered the salmon BLT sliders to go. Both meals were outstanding!

We had a good experience. We were seated quickly despite them not taking reservations. We both ordered the blackened catfish. It was delicious and nicely seasoned. I find some blackened seasoning to be salty, but this was the prefect amount of seasoning and spice. The zucchini fries and whole fried okra had a nice crunchy batter. My asparagus was nothing special and the turnip greens were just ok.

Both of us had the combination baskets. I had fried shrimp with double cod fish. It was good. Neither of us liked the hush puppies. Hubby had blackened oysters, shrimp, and cod. Our first impression of the baskets was it wasn't enough food, but it ended up being filling. I guess we are a little greedy😃We also had a bowl of gumbo, which was good, a side of turnip greens that had a great flavor but were cooked vegan style and crunchy. If you are like me, you like your all of the nutrients cooked out of your vegetables and cooked with meat😂 I like them soft, not crunchy. We also had a house salad with ranch dressing. It was good too! Overall, our food was good, but it was on the pricy side for it to be lunch and mid-size servings. Our waitress was friendly and attentive.

It's been many years since I've eaten here, but the food was as good as I remember. A large space with dining on one side and a sports bar atmosphere on the other - great place to catch a game. Weather permitting, they have a nice rooftop area, too. I enjoyed the Shrimp-n-Grits while others enjoyed a fried combo basket and fish dinners. We enjoyed it all. The only negative was that the cheesecake we ordered was still frozen.

Great food. The waitress was honest with the size of the scallops it was so tiny. But the food was great and the service was excellent. The place is warm and cozy perfect place to eat on a cold night before heading to the airport to return home. Only thing BEWARE the gratuities are added to the bill so she was tipped $20.00 already. We had alligator bites the three seafood options and the conch fritters with some blue long islands.I recommend this place for sure.

Amazing burger 🍔 rockstar beer selection, the very coolest place to have a drink if you’re in your 40s and remember coming to this place when it had the slanted windows. A true “cheers” kinda spot. Feels like home.

Six Feet Under, a local place to Atlanta. Lots of choices of sea food! To start, we shared the calamari, two baskets of zucchini, and parmesan oysters. My friends and I ordered different things. I ordered the snow crab boil, my bf ordered the PEI mussels with Caesar salad, and my friend Jen ordered the shrimp tacos and side of onion rings. There’s a lot of different choices for drinks. I just ordered the unsweetened tea. They also have a lemonade and a lot of different fountain drinks as well. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. Prices were very reasonable and staff was very friendly. Our meal came out on time even though it was quite packed and busy for Saturday. Parking is also very easy, lots of parking in the back lot and there’s also parallel parking as well.

I went for the first time with a group of 12. The restaurant handled all of us with ease. Our waitress was a delight and the food was everything you would expect from the authentic gumbo to fish and chips grilled instead of fried(yes they make substitutions!)to the most beautifully fresh meal salads and salmon sliders. A good time was had by all🥰😋

Had a great lunch of snow crab and one of their mixed drinks. I’m a big fan of repurposed buildings. Six feet under did a great job with the interior. Service was great. Food was a lot better than expected. Parking was a challenge. If you’re in the area I would definitely give six feet under a try.

If you’re looking for fried seafood definitely come here. The menu is huge so anyone should be able to find something. Healthier menu options leaves some to be desired with the amount of food they give you. With that being said it’s Atlanta staple so I will definitely be back, just learn what’s worth it and what might not be and you’ll have a great time

We arrived around 10 minutes prior to the kitchen closing. The hostess was good...our waitor was very nice I will give 5 stars for service. Friendly fast and efficient. Very informative of the bar menu. However the food....was not to our liking. I dont think its because the kitchen was closing I think it was more so seasoning combinations or something. We order the conch fritters & shrimp quesadilla...its almost bland with spices to try to enhance the flavor but the spices just wasn't...flavorful I guess is the word. For our entree my husband tried the shrimp tacos and I ordered the clay chowder soup and shrimp salad. The chowder soup was good more soupy then creamy and chowdery...the tacos my husband said was not the greatest and my salad I ended up getting to go but the brief taste I sampled was not worthy of me eating for leftovers. Its the seasoning combination or maybe lack of seasoning and the overflux of spicy or something. I can't pin point why the taste is off. None the less the alcohol drinks were good. I have seen six feet under in passing...finally experienced it and will most likely not return

We went two days in a row and I absolutely loved both days. I was not a fan of the Seafood quesadillas but that’s only because I don’t like feta cheese. Everything else was amazing. Their drinks were top notch and the service was great. The second day we went we chose to sit up stairs and I will be doing that every single time from now on. Their upstairs dining area is pretty much a covered patio so to sit up there while it was raining was really cool!

Very quaint and quiet place. The steamed oysters are amazing! The Barcart oysters were small however the Richard oysters were double the size. The oyster basket was delicious. One of my fav locations for tasty Seafood. Visited near twelve, it was not full. The staff was very kind and attentive. The bill was well within reason for the quality. They have a lot of positive reviews for a reason.

Solidly bummed, excited to come back solely for the white beans, they were the saving grace. Calamari was legit! Outside of that the oysters were shucked, well the picture is proof. The shrimp were way over steamed. The tacos were good but just not what I remembered from years ago. Great service from Blake, but they clearly have had issues with customers either complaining or not tipping due to policies in place. Service and menu options great, but mediocre execution. Bummed, wanted it to be what I had remembered.

Nice fish/seafood restaurant near downtown Atlanta. I loved the decor, with old beer signs and an ocean theme. The service was ok, we had to wait a little at each step of our visit. The server seemed to disappear at times. We ordered Spicy Rat Toes as an appetizer. There wasn't a lot of flavor, the jalapeno was mushy and not spicy, and it seemed a bit dry. Maybe some cream cheese with the shrimp may have helped. I ordered the Combo Tacos, getting Chicken, Blackened Shrimp and Calamari. The tacos were big, I couldn't finish three tacos. The meat was done well in all three, but the tacos overall could use a little more spice. I put some Old Bay on one and some hot sauce on another and that helped. My least favorite was the Calamari, but it was still not bad. I would go here again to try other things on the menu.

First time visiting this establishment and it definitely won’t be my last! I arrived with an empty stomach and left with a full stomach! Everything was fresh and tasty at the same time. The atmosphere was very chill and laid back. If you ever get a chance to visit, sit outside where you can eat good food and enjoy the view! I highly recommend!

The foods smells great but the truth is it is over priced. The baskets that I ordered was 21.00 a piece and the fries were not as good as I was expecting. The atmosphere was good but I felt like the food needed more flavor. I will give them another try and see if it gets better. On a scale from 1 to 10 the food is a 5 and I will give the atmosphere was a 8. I hope my review helps.

The steak was the star, ordered as listed on the menu. Loads different than a place like Bazaar Meats in Vegas which was the most memorable worst experience. Crowder can't really be called that it's more a clam soup. Asparagus was hard at the base of the stock. The corn dish was good. I hope this wasn't a fluke but the steak was great from the first bite to the last, with a very good price for the quality.

I was slightly apprehensive about visiting 6 feet under, only due to a concern that it would be gimmicky with less than stellar food. However, I found my visit to be absolutely perfect. My server Debbie was incredibly efficient and super sweet without being overbearing. I only stopped in for a quick lunch, and I still can't believe how fast they were with everything. I ordered the appetizer buffalo shrimp and a bourbon lemonade. I highly recommend both. I'm excited to come back and try so much more of this elevated, but non-pretentious pub seafood.

This was my first time here. I've lived in Atlanta since 2006 and never visited this establishment. I HAVE NO REGRETS. And whomever the bartender was!!!!!! OMG!!! That 🍹pineapple margarita had me RIGHT! My sister and I had 2 appetizers (fried green tomatoes and seafood quesadillas) and the combo baskets. We couldn't eat our combo baskets because we were full from the appetizers. Everything was delicious! I have found a new spot to add to my "spots" that I recommend to my peeps visiting the "A".

What lies @ the other end of Oakland Cemetery ? A Big building with a nice patio upstairs for friend’s or family. Our server, Jeremy, was dope & well-informed. I tasted a new pale ale, Soul of the City by Atlanta Brewing Company. Citrus notes & mild hops throughout. All we had room for was a round of drinks & a quick meal. Crab Cakes & Oysters Rockefeller seemed rather reasonable. Both dishes were absolutely alluring & tasty beyond expectation ! I will see you all again in the future ! Great customer service, but, the food is not that good. My oysters arrived cold and the catfish was under cooked. I had to have the oysters heated and returned the fish and got the pasta. Needless to say, my server was very professional, apologetic and polite. I will not be returning.

This was my first visit to Six Feet Under, and I couldn't help but chuckle at the irony of its location right in front of a graveyard! In all seriousness, the food was quite enjoyable. Our Experience was excellent overall but the fact that they charge 20% gratuity when the bill is over $50 is just ridiculous, and If it wasn’t for that I would have gave them 5 stars. I understand charging gratuity when it’s a big party but this place is pricey so it’s easy to get to that $50 quick. Our waitress was Vera and she was super friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, & one of the best waitresses I have ever had. Our food was also great and at the end I got the bread pudding which was so freaking good! 😛😄 And I did tip on top of the gratuity because Vera was great… but I don’t know if I will go back 🤷🏽‍♀️

Great food and adult beverages. I wanted to sit on the rooftop, but it was a bit too chilly.

😠 DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Terrible service! The server cannot remember what you ordered…it cannot be that hard to write it down. Friends waited for (Hennessy) drinks…at the same table for an hour and 15min. It took the bartender 3 tries….It took over an hour to get food even with a reservation. YOU CAN...
