As a busy real estate broker, I love knowing I can walk right next door and get consistent service and quality tasty food. They always welcome me and my fellow agents with a smile. Stop buy and let them know RealtorRob suggested that southwest bowl with roasted pork - you won't regret it. Thank you for always taking great care of my Berkshire Hathaway Midtown‼️

Typical tavern with typical tavern food. My friends and I were staying at the hotel next door and hit this place a few times. Enjoyed drinking here in the evening and had a good lunch the next day.

This was a nice stop. Very big. It can be loud. We went Friday for lunch. Great service. Food was good. The service was fast as well. So it was a good experience.

It’s a pretty good restaurant to spend a night with your friends. We only had nachos with chicken and steak that was a huge plate and tasted great. But we received a poor service from the waitress, and it was disappointing.

On opening night of the NBA season they wouldn’t change even 1 of their 10 TV screens to an NBA game because the Braves were on. This is on a Tuesday in a restaurant that’s 50% full, with many clientele that were not watching. It’s clear they cater to only certain customers. Please reference all the empty seats shown, the sheer number of TVs, and how the restaurant wouldn’t accommodate even one group of NBA fans— had to take photos because it was laughable given the fairly empty restaurant. We ordered two drinks from the menu and after a long wait (for wine) none were available; we ordered replacements and they didn’t have those either. We ended up leaving so cannot comment on the drinks and food.

Visited 12/19/23. Cool little spot with a great burger. Really liked how the place was set up inside with the different levels/areas. Got the Sante Fe burger and my wife got the smash burger on a gluten free bun. Both were spectacular. Bun was toasted well, meat cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely. Service was quick as well which was appreciated as we were headed to a show at Central Stage. I would definitely come back!

Fantastic midtown tavern food. The menu is varied without being overwhelming. The vibes were clean and not too loud. Service from Jackie was excellent and friendly. I'll definitely be back.

This is a great place to catch some lunch or evening dinner. Very comfortable close to a lot and you feel safe. Looking forward to our next trip here very clean comfortable and great food. The Smashburger and fish and chips were exceptionally good.

Our server was awesome. Make sure to ask for Ace! We went on Sunday for brunch. They offer bottomless mimosas for $22. They made sure we got our money's worth! The food was delicious. We all got a different plate from the brunch menu and loved it. They definitely add something extra to the waffles that make them taste better than normal. The whole table agreed on that. The French toast and the breakfast sandwich were also top tier. The brunch specialty drinks were amazing and our server was top notch about drink recommendations. I will definitely be return soon! Sorry, about the chicken and waffle photo. I started eating my chicken before I took and photo and almost didn't want to stop for the photo lol

Their gluten free bun option was the best I've ever had, idk if they just actually toasted it correctly or if it was a different kind of bread than I usually get but it was SO delicious! I ordered their Smash burger - I'm not going to lie, I've never had a smash burger before - but this was absolutely delicious. My partner devoured his in like 3 minutes so it's safe to say he enjoyed his as well. Loved the atmosphere in there too, just super chill, clean, great for families or big groups and also perfect for couples to grab a quick meal before a show. Highly recommend

With the hostess, while there were many tables available in the restaurant, we were taken to a booth direct in front of the bathroom area/hallway. I personally wouldn't consider that's the best seating in the house, I wish the hostess would ask if that table/booth was okay before assigning it to any guests. With our server, although professional, we didn't feel the genuineness with our server. Food was okay, portions were okay (could be a bit more generous). Restaurant got busy and pretty occupied ~11am already. Seems like a popular spots. Lots of people with NFL jerseys. We didn't park in their parking garage, so I can't common on the parking and validation process. There are a few parking spots (free?!) in front of the restaurants (13th st). Overall, I may consider give this place another try when we are in the area.

Really delicious food. The special was good. They appear to have a wide selection of drinks. No one at my table was disappointed with the food. Very filling portion sizes. No regrets going. I imagine service was a little slower/limited due to staffing shortages, but overall all our food came out efficiently.

The nachos were dynamite! We also loved how big our beers were. Good prices to boot. I would definitely recommend a stop here for a quick bite. I hear the night life is pretty good too!

Fantastic food and staff with a solid location in midtown Atlanta. Went by for dinner and the burger was by far one of the best we have had in Georgia. Decided to try them the next day for brunch, and once again wasn't disappointed. Definitely recommend, will eat at any time I am in Atlanta.

Popped into McCray’s for a drink Saturday night. Atmosphere was just what we were looking for- good music, but not too loud to talk. Dallas was tending bar, and was super nice…our drinks were cold and never empty, and even though he was busy, he still found time to chat a few times. I highly recommend the Violet Paloma - A limited time drink that benefits the Epilepsy Foundation.

My husband and I came here for dinner on our trip to Atlanta. We were just looking for a quick place to grab some food but were blown away by how good it was! Walking in, the hosts were so personable and got us seated quickly. Our server was very helpful pointing out her recommendations. We got our food very fast too! The Santa Fe Burger may have been the best burger I've ever had. I wasn't even that hungry but just couldn't stop eating it! My husband's fish and chips was amazing too! Definitely would recommend this place!

Unfortunately, I didn't get the chilaquiles, but my wife did... I had an unfortunate experience with another restaurant and chilaquiles... so I didn't want to take my chances... I should have as I tried them and they were great... this is how chilaquiles should look like (see picture), not like nachos. Although I did have the nachos and they were great 😆 🤣 the waitress (Sadye, I believe) was great, amicable, and very attentive. Prices were very reasonable. If I'm in the area I'd definitely come back and will definitely recommend to whomever is on the fence.

The wings were sooooooo good! Definitely the highlight of my day. Buffalo chicken rolls were good and also the seafood pasta. I absolutly loved the fish nuggets (kids meal), made me wish I got the fish & chips. I recommend & will be back on my next visit.

We've been twice while in town. The first time we got to sit in the upper area and the TVs were muted. The second the TVs were full volume even for the commercials so a little less pleasant. Overall the food was excellent bar fare. The summer salad with a little chicken was excellent as were the fish and chips. Solid gluten free options as well.

Great spot for dinner or just a drink. If you can fit at the bar or a table around the bar go for it. Lots of space for larger groups too. The Wings and the Cuban Sandwich are my favorite. Never had anything that wasn't really good. Service is good, there have been a few times that it was unsatisfactory. I've mentioned it to the manager once and he was really perceptive. It's an important aspect of enjoying a meal out. I still highly recommend trying it.

Great atmosphere and amazing service. The nachos are probably the best on the planet, great food and drinks over all. One thing I would mention is that the wings were dry and a little tough. But, I can't wait to get back here. We watched Monday night football and they gave us a private booth with its own TV. We had a blast.

Let me start off by saying that the food was great!!!!! We really enjoyed the food….the service 0 stars. It felt like we were rushed the entire time. The server barely came over to check on us… we had to ask twice for water refills and the pitcher of water was basically thrown at us. We came in around 12pm on a Saturday for the bottomless mimosas but as we were ordering we were told by our server “it’s not worth it…we PROMPTLY stop making mimosas at 12:30pm for the bottomless mimosas” Obviously we didn’t order, we were very disappointed but then saw him bring out pitchers for another table at 12:59pm………. When we inquired what time they stopped it as it said ON THE MENU it was until 3pm… he said “oh that’s a misprint, if you go online you can see the updated time of 1pm” We went online and it still said 3pm… Sad. He definitely just didn’t want to serve us… won’t be back

We got in here late because it was one of the few things still open. I got the Matador burger. It was really good. The fries were perfect. They were slightly breaded and had good flavor. Would definitely recommend.

What a fun place. Would have given 5 stars; however, the hostess was less than personable and acted like she wanted to be any place but at work. Once we were seated it took almost 15 minutes for our waitress to come and greet us. Once she did, she was great. The Makers Mark Old Fashioned was spot on. I had the chopped salad with blackened salmon and it was divne. Mom had the Cobb salad and wings and thought it was really good too. If you want a fun casual place to hang out, I would definitely recommend. Fun atmosphere.

McCray’s Tavern Midtown is open and back to do what they love, serving great food! The bacon jam on that Matador Grilled chicken sandwich would make a bulldog break it’s chain! The midtown location is perfect for watching sporting events and a casual family dinner. My family, party of five found plenty of choices on the menu. There is something for everyone… but the Mac & Cheese side is amazing!

A buzzing atmosphere especially on college football game days. Decent bar area to seat yourself. Sweet potato fries were really good, and the burger was average. Would’ve liked a little more flavor. Drink options are on point.

I don’t even like fish but the fish and chips was amazing. I got the southwest bowl which was amazing like the rice was perfect with the occasional sweetness of the corn and the texture of the beans. Definitely would recommend. Parking was about 8$ an hour had to pay online.

Server was nice. First I ordered the Buffalo chicken dip for my appetizer and the salmon champagne salad as my main. The Buffalo chicken dip was kind of cold but still tasted okay. The salad came out beautifully plated but it had foul odor and taste, which I believe made me sick to my stomach later in the evening. I then ordered the patty melt instead and the meat was very tough. My boyfriend ordered the wings, which he said he enjoyed. If I were to go back it would be to only enjoy drinks.

Pretty good spot for a brunch meal. Service was sub par but the food was pretty good. The shrimp and grits surprisingly had great flavor and a decent amount of shrimp. The chicken batter wasn't super flavorful and the waffle tasted good. The drinks were solid.

After a long day, I had some guests in town and they wanted to experience the Midtown experience. Upon doing some searching, Yelp help me decided on McCrays. I was super excited as based on the reviews it was known to offer the small-town neighborhood bar feeling with great food and a “heart of the city” ambiance. Upon walking in there was a sign advising that they were short-staffed and to be patient. I have grown to know this is the new normal now post-pandemic. In any case, the bartender came over within 7 minutes and got us to a table. He was very pleasant and though you could see he was working very hard as the bar was very full he still provided great customer service and a welcoming tone. Upon being seated is where my night took a turn for the worse. When the waitress arrived, she was very withdrawn and short with us. She said “hi” and went straight into our drink orders. No welcome, no “my name is,” nothing. As this was our first time at the establishment we were hoping for some recommendations and/or location specialties, but she provided neither. Upon ordering a sweet tea I was advised, “we’re out for the night and we’re not making any more!” My word! She could have stopped at “we’re out” and I would have understood. (for a time reference, this was at 9:32 pm and they close at 11:00 pm so I could understand them being out for the night) Proceeding to place an order, one of my guests asked her “how thick are the burgers?” This question was of importance as the “Grizzly” advises that it has two patties. The waitress proceeds to point to the menu and say “they’re a half-pound.” Allow me to express my level of detestation towards this reply. Anyone who knows food understands that a burger is not the exact same at all restaurants, nor is the explanation of a half-pound, an acceptable one for a patron who is new to the establishment and/or seeking insight from their server. The level of service at this point went all the way down to zero and I was absolutely in shock from her reply… **Sidenote: for anyone who plans to order the “Grizzly” (which is an amazing burger) heads up, it is (2) half-pound patties, and they are a TRUE half-pound. We are talking meaty and moist. A true example of “Prime Beef.”** To the food! The food at McCrays is an absolute flavor-filled delight. The portions are filling, and the quality of ingredients and preparation is to be admired. For this to be a neighborhood bar & grill, the food is of a higher caliber and I am here for it. I decided on a Chopped Salad and the Buffalo Chicken Flatbread. Both of which I would recommend. The salad was filled with fresh ingredients and tossed in a way that drew your eyes to the variation of colors. As your eyes are drawn to the colors, upon tasting, your taste buds fall in love with the flavor profile provided by the detailed combination. The Flatbread provides a perfect medium of crispy and soft with a perfect balance of cheese to protein ratio. I’m talking bite after bite of flavor bliss. Overall, I would visit McCrays for the food, but I would order to-go as the service experience was a deterrent for me… If you are in the neighborhood, you have to grab a bite. If you see me grabbing my order, say hello!

Definitely come here and eat brunch , lunch 🥗 and dinner 🥘 or a nice drink 🍹 or coffee ☕️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I have been here 3 times and every time I come everyone is so nice. The best waitress is Lex she is so friendly and efficient. The first time we came we got dinner and everything we ordered was freshly made and nice and hot ❤️ I got coffee ☕️ We really enjoyed our dinner . The next time I went was a few days ago 12/28 and the food was of course delicious ( Ty ) assisted us and he also was friendly and helpful. Then last night we went for New Years Eve and they had a DJ and we got drinks and of course Lex was working ! She for sure is a hard working lady and she takes her job serious. The restaurant manager (Delon ) Don’t hesitate to come eat here and visit ! Definitely recommend this place! P.S the bathroom was clean and they have parking on the side of the restaurant.

Exquisite dining environment.  The two levels inside this restaurant provides for a unique dining experience.  We had five people in our party & the waitress was on point, accurate & professional.  Our entrees were shrimp & grits, prime steak frites, fish & chips & 6th street nachos.

Both times I have come here has been a great experience for Sunday brunch. Love that they have tvs literally everywhere and a very nice and accommodating staff. Food comes out hot and on time and their beverage selection is nice as well. Will definitely be returning!

I ate here once a while ago had the chicken Pharm and it was really good and I was really excited to have it again because I was craving pasta. Boy was I disappointed they completely burned the chicken and I can not believe they would actually serve this Someone. This was horrible, I will probably never eat here again. It was like the chicken was horribly burnt than it sat for a while and became soft.🤮🤮 Not mention it wasn’t cheap so I completely wasted my money. I’m so upset I dnt even want to call or talk to anyone. Just wanted to share my experience.
