We were visiting the Olympic park and ferries wheel , and it was so hot that we had to take a break. Wanted to have a quick drink and found this bar pretty close .. it was a weekday .. and so , it was pretty much empty. There is a nice bar at the entrance and lots of tables to sit all through. Lots of space. We got a quick and courteous service .. they had few IPAs on the tap and we had a citrus ipa 🍊.. it was so so good . The mock tail was also good .. wings was good. . Didn’t have time to eat a lot . It was quick and we got out in 30 mins. Very very good overall and I’ll surely go back if i visit Atlanta again.

Dissapointing in a nutshell. We were greeted outside by by a very nice lady. Inside it was a typical bar/pub setting. Waited about ten minutes for s seat to open up at the bar. During that time no one asked if we needed help. Once a couple of seats opened up at the bar we sat down. The bartender was lukewarm and unattentive. She was more concerned with chit-chatting and serving her co-workers that finished their shift. When she did make her way to us we told her it was our first time in. She did not welcome us or let us know about any specials. She did however make a statement that I thought was very il inappropriate in reference to a pillow fighting tournament being aired on their tvs. She stated "I do think it's pretty "gay" for men to be pillow fighting." I thought the tournament was stupid although amusing, but she does not know me and has no right to speak on that subject and describe it as she did. She does not know if I have family members, friends or what my preference may be. This is something the owner should address as she may make a statement like that to the wrong person, who could take great offense. I decided to try the wings since some reviews said they were good. When I asked her about the sauces she was short and impatient, like it was a bother to answer. At one point she said "sir I don't know." With a very dismissive attitude. Initinally ordered the Fluffy flavor and she suggested that I do half and half. So I did half fluffy and half Buffalo only because she said the hot was "too hot" we like spicy food but took her advice. The buffalo was just buffalo so I ended up having to get the hot on the side, which was not that hot by the way. She asked if I wanted ranch or blue cheese and I said both as I order the same way everywhere we dine.(no upcharge and if there is one it is disclosed) The wings were okay, nothing special, just average. My lady had the chicken burger which comes with lettuce and tomatoes. The chicken breats was super thin. The sandwich itself was average at best. The wings are priced on the menu at $12.49 for 10 wings. When the bill came out they were rang in at $13.48. I asked the bartender where the extra dollar came from and she looked at it confused and then said "Oh it was for getting half and half flavor. I asked her if she could remove the charge because I was not made aware of the charge while ordering as I should have been. She stated that she could not but the manager could. She spoke briefly with the manager away from us then the manager "Sheila" approached us in an unfriendly manner. She did not smile, greet us or ask us how things were. She just came up and said how can I help you, knowing she was just fully informed of my request. I explained and asked for the charge to be removed again. She looked bewildered as if it was a monumental task. She then said it is because you got extra blue cheese dressing. There was nothing extra, there was 1 blue cheese and 1 ranch. She was rude and took the check to the register. When she came back it was still wrong. She only took off .50 cents. I informed her that it was still incorrect and she stared at me intensely stating that "we discussed this." Then she said oh because you ordered half and half. I explained it was not about the money but the principle. Make customers aware of an upcharge instead of just adding to a bill arbitrarily. I checked the digital menu and there was no mention of any such upcharge. The bartender grabbed a paper menu and said it is on here. I stated we did not see a paper menu. She looked on the menu only to find that it was not on there either. Needless to say we will not be back. I do hope the owner of this establishment sees this review and addresses them accordingly. There are for too many other places to eat for service to be this bad. Epecially on our first visit with food that was average at best. The bartender was most attentive when it was time to tip. She is fortusnte to have gotten a tip. I would not recommend this place.

Bar is conveniently located near the CNN center and Georgia World Congress venue. The place was popping at dinner time and u have to seat urself at this bar so we had to wait until a seating became available. The food was great 👍🏾 and they had some local IPAs 🍺 was which was fantastic. They also players variety of music during dinning. Cheers 🍻

Had a good time, came in for the games. Drinks are reasonable they have a drink deal buy two shots and get 3rd shot free with a souvenir cup. Bad is open late even on a Sunday, I think it’s open until midnight every night with last call for food at 10:30 and drinks at 11:30. Our server Abby was attentive and she made frequent rounds to check up on us. A decent drink menu, good bourbon selection. The menu is online and easily accessed. Just like any other downtown stops you gotta find your own parking. It’s right across centennial park so during summer time it’s a good place to be.

We ordered the Catalina hamburger. We totally recommend it! It was so delicious!! We ordered it with different sides… fries, onion rings, salad, vegetables… all of them were excellent. The customer service was great! We will come back next time in town.

Across from The Olympic Centennial Park. Great location. Service was good. The salmon salad was tasty. The salmon was grilled to perfection took. I’m sat outside. Which I now know was a bad idea. Eat inside. Trust me.

Great times at this bar. Lovely bartender. We had so much fun having drinks and spinning the wheel at the end. The food was delicious. Met some new people and laughed the night away.

This is a classic case of "Do not judge the book by its cover". We went there on a Sunday afternoon on the day of a 5K race near Centennial park. It is very close to Centennial park, CNN, Georgia Aquarium, and the World of Coca-Cola. We were contemplating whether we should go or not since the outside looked like a small shady bar but this lady outside raved about the burgers so much that we went inside to give it a try. Here is the summary of our experience: Ambiance 5/5: From the outside, it looks small and shady but once you are inside, the ambiance is peppy and vibrant like a cool hipster sports bar. A good place to hang out with friends on a game night Service5/5: Although initially, it was slow, the servers were really sweet and helpful. Food 3.5/5: I did not order their most famous burger since I do not eat beef. Here is what we ordered: 1. Fried chicken burger: Come with a side. I did not like the fact that they charge you extra for your toppings and even the sauce. Frankly I like the burner but did not love it. we ordered potato tots which were good in portion size 2. Grilled chicken burger: This is the first time, I like a grilled chicken burger more than a fried chicken burger. The burger buns were soggy. The french fries portion was really good and came in hot. The buffalo hot sauce is really not very hot (As per Indian standards :) ) PS: Burgers only come with a free add on of tomatoes and lettuce Value for money 4/5: Overall we spent $25 for the burger and a side which does not look bad but this was since we only had one add on each. If you put in the add ons, it might quickly add up so definitely not a pocket friendly burger In all, I would recommend this place for a great night with friends and not for a pocket friendly meal.

Park Bar is a nice cozy spot. Classic neighborhood bar/restaurant. I got the chicken tenders and fries, they were a little dry and not super seasoned but good enough. Fries were fantastic tho! Our server wasn’t super attentive but could be waved down. All in all I would visit again. In the street side of the restaurant you get a cool view of centennial Olympic park

Stopped in for drinks and to meet an old friend. Very nice warm feel to the place. The bartender was great and very friendly and accommodating. They have a wheel to spin when you spend $50 to win different drinks, money off your bill, shots for the bar or nothing. Will definitely stop back before we leave town.

Great Salads and Burgers! Loved every bite of the Cumberland Burger, especially its bourbon bacon jam and melted Brie cheese! The Candler Salad = great combination of flavors!

Absolutely loved park bar! We got the fluffy wings that are tossed in a mixture of BBQ and buffalo sauce that were delicious. I had a chipotle bison burger and my boyfriend got the Morningside burger and both were very good! They also have a decent craft beer menu, we tried 6 different local beers and there were so many more. Since we spent over $50, we asked to spin the "fun wheel" and luckily it landed on $20 off our bill and not 3 Jäger bombs lol. If we had more time in Atlanta, we would've 100% come back to eat/drink here again!

Had some wings from here once and they were really good. Decided to sit down to eat when I googled bison burgers and this place came back on my radar. The service was lovely and the vibe was nice. I came on a random Wednesday, so, not too busy. But, an Atl United game was starting about 30 min after I arrived. People started coming in droves so it took a few minutes to get my check but they handled that swarm like pros.

This place is very affordable if you’re looking for something to eat that’s not outrageous. I got a burger and fries. The burger was good for the price, but the bacon was waaaay overcooked I had to remove the bacon off my burger because it was so hard! Now the fries were a mix of cooked just right and overcooked! Also ordered the Mexican egg rolls which didn’t really taste like anything special. The side salad tasted like a side salad. Again everything was not bad for the price. Now the customer service was not great I had to track down the waitress to get refills constantly and was not given any silverware or napkins till my food was almost gone!

Well, one of the people I was dining with has a dairy allergy. We talked to the manager, we weee informed that the grill would be cleaned down. I do believe an attempt was made, but allergens are hard to deal with especially with a place that is surrounded by dairy. Other than that, the food and service was good. I ordered the bison bleu and the burger was amazing, the fries were also good.

What an amazing experience! The food was delicious (I had the hot buffalo wings and my husband had the bison burger). We had the ice cream sandwich cake for dessert (delicious!!!). Sierra was our server and she was awesome! Very attentive and fun. We can’t wait to come back!

We went there on a Sunday for a late lunch. Self seating and no came by to greet us at the table for about 10 minutes. She wasn't not our server and said our server will be here shortly. Then our server comes by we order drinks and food. The app came out quicker than our drinks. We order a glass of Kentucky Owl bourbon and this $40 bourbon comes in a plastic cup. Mind blown. Then one meal comes out yet the other meal didn't come out for about another 10 plus minutes later afterwe asked about it. Then I get a knife and fork with my meal but the knife is so dirty. Food was good but the service was so bad.

The manager was very accommodating, as we discovered the park was closed. They could have easily turned us as away.....but they let us sit outside, and so we ordered A LOT of drinks to make it up to them! Indoor staff was friendly......overall, I recommend

Good burger, good drinks. Beer is a little pricey but it’s also downtown so I’ll forgive that. Bar staff got a little busy the night I was there but was still very good at dealing with everything.

This place was pretty good. Has a bit of a college bar feel to it, but the service was very good and friendly. They have a wide selection of bourbons on pour and some pretty good burgers. TVs for watching sports and the soundtrack on the in-bar/restaurant speakers had on great tunes.

Good food, good service, great atmosphere. They were understaffed on a Saturday with a big college basketball tournament at State Farm Arena. But, all things considered, our server did a really good job and so did the kitchen. We will be back next time we visit the area.

Great bar near Centennial Olympic Park! The burgers were cooked as ordered, the Maverick was wonderful and I'm a sucker for tater tots which were crispy! My daughter had a turkey burger that was juicy and the soup was thick & creamy. If I make the trek to the area again, it's definitely a place I would go to grab a good meal!

We were so excited to have our desert and then found not 1, but 3 pube looking hairs in our ice cream. It kinda looked like someone dunked their nuts in it. It was really a bummer.

I come here frequently, and I always have a relaxing time. I enjoy their craft beer and wings. The short ribs are also an excellent option. This is a great casual restaurant!

Nice place. We are out of towners, looking for a place that we could eat at that wasn't back home, and we found it. I had the short boneless ribs, I assumed I was getting boneless ribs, but it was more of a pulled pork. Even though it was tasty. My wife had the sample platter plate, another good choice. My sister had the Cumberland burger, another good choice, the drinks were great!

Definitely didn’t receive my normal friendly service! Was told 10-15 on carry out orders over the phone! When I got there 25 minutes later it wasn’t ready. The staff insisted I go ahead and pay for the order, I decided to wait till it was ready before I paid. I guess this didn’t go over well with the staff. The host told the other staff to watch me to see if I was leaving. When my food arrived it was thrown on the bar. Just outright horrible customer service! If your looking for good food Hudson Grill is directly behind Park Bar. Customer service is definitely a step above this place.

The food was amazing and the surrounding was good as well. We really are glad we chose this place to be our dinner. No wait and we were well taken care of. We got the steak and it was cook to perfection. We were a little disappointed the Asparagus was gone but all In all a really good meal. Highly recommend eating here. It’s also very wheel chair acceptable and that is huge for me. They had ramps so I was able to roam freely.

  • 3/5 John W. 1 year ago on Google
The food was good but I would not recommend the brie cheese on the burger. The burger was amazing but the brie cheese was not good. Seems like a cool place but the weekday servers where not attentive and made use wait for awhile then vanished for awhile then spent most of the rest of the time sitting at the bar playing on their phone. We went on a Monday at about 6:30pm. I would go back for the burger but I would lower my standards for the service. Also they should take the savanna spuds off the menu. Fries topped with meat and cheese good. Potatoe wedges topped with meat and cheese good. Plane slices of unseasoned potato with stuff on top is just lazy. We spent 3 days in Atlanta and we have been disappointed everywhere we have been with the service except for the aquarium. Not sure what is going on but we will probably not wiast our time or money to come back. That is sad because the food here looked soooo good but the service everywhere is just sooo bad.

It’s not a place for everyone! If you are not one of them you will not be welcomed! They told us to walk to the bar to order while we watched them take orders at other people table. They need to take a class on diversity!

I had gone to this restaurant and bar a year ago with a group. Had another conference in the city so I decided to take my spouse to Park Bar. We liked it so much we went back a second time. We both had the burger, which had good flavored meat, cooked to Perfection, with a nice bun and the tater tots were amazing. Drinks are reasonable and staff were attentive.

Wow!!! Is all we can say!! Best burger place in downtown Atalanta. Everything we ordered was fresh, hot and delicious! It was so good that we delayed our trip back to Texas so we could have their food again. Thank you Park Bar for the amazing customer service and delicious food.

First time and bummed I never came here during prior visits or when I lived here. Wings, Lemon Pepper Hot, amazing! Fried crispy and the sauce was so good! Tater tots came out fried perfectly and piping hot! Was Sunday night, Mother’s Day, so it was pretty slow but the bartender did a great job keeping folks engaged and making sure we weren’t waiting on anything.

Honestly food and drink was on par (no pun intended) it was the staff I had a problem with. Wasn't sure who worked there or not. Lazy security (if he even worked there) and bartenders seemed like they weren't on top of their game. However food and drinks made up for most of this. Bison burger was fantastic.

I intend to return before my vacation is over.

Amazing place to eat if your in the Downtown Atlanta area. We got there on a busy Friday night after traveling and not eating all day and our waitress Taryn got us our food and drinks very quick. We enjoyed the food so much we went to eat lunch on Sunday and our waitress Taryn remembered us and what we got to drink from the Friday night. What a memory and what great service! Thank you so much! Taryn should train others customer service skills to others for sure.

The food wasn’t that good. The portioning was good and the food actually looked appeasing. However, the food had absolutely no seasoning. Everything was very bland. There was nothing unique about the food or my experience. The waiter wasn’t that good. She forgot about us multiple times and was always in a rush to leave our table. She even forgot about my friends order. He didn’t order until we’ll after we got done eating our food. He had to get his food to go. I actually do not recommend this place. :(

Build your own Burger is nice! I'm only sad that the 321 shots deal we received not seem accurate to what was on their marketing. I thought we'd get 3 individual shots and a cup, but we got 1 drink with 3 shots and told the cup was out of stock AFTER we ordered. 3 shots of whisky is bound to hurt someone.... Otherwise great place to eat after the Sky Wheel or before a Tabernacle concert.
