Wow! This place is a gem! I don't think I've ever had such a good smoked tuna sandwich before. Stephanie can whip up food that will blow you away. This place is packed with friendly faces, fantastic food, and a great selection of alcohol. The service is fast and friendly and makes you feel like you're at a family pub.

Super nice service. Not overly busy. Really great food to share. Great drinks. Worth a try, and could become a regular place to hang out. Live music, but not too loud. Awesome. 👍

Really neat place with a unique feel. Many beers to chose from and unique Irish pub fair. The bangers are my absolute favorite out of any Irish pub I've been to and get them every time. Would recommend giving this place a try if you're okay with a dive bar kinda feel.

Looked like a pretty good place to decompress before a first date -- I'll take a dark Irish bar any day of the week. Walked in and ordered a diet Coke, and was told I was on the all-ages side -- I'd have to go to the other side to have my drink. What-the-what? So I was directed to go back outside and use the other door simply to have my non-alcoholic beverage. Anyway, an alright place if in the area but not worth a special trip. Probably wouldn't go back just to avoid picking the wrong door again.

My son and his fiance were recently married in the Marietta Square. We contacted MacCrackens to provide food and drinks for about 25 people after the ceremony. They had Shepards Pie, Irish Nachos, a Patak Sausage platter and 2 types of chicken wings. The food was off the chain good and the bar service was simply stellar. Shelby was our bartender and they did an amazing job. I cant say enough about this place as we moved our celebration to the beer garden where they had a great band playing. Thanks you Gary, Kathy, Ali, Gains, and Shelby for making our event one for the ages.

Decided to try this place bc I love pubs & pub food. Place wasn't crowded at all, so I figured service would be fairly quick. We sat at the bar, which is normal for us. The bartender eventually served us drinks & eventually took our food orders, which took way longer than expected. We had the Irish American Corned Beef & Cabbage & the Irish Surf & Turf. Food was very good, & prices were very reasonable. My only major complaint was that the staff was not friendly at all. Perhaps they were as hung over as we were, or they were all having bad days. If I lived in the area, it would still be a regular haunt for me. Love the layout of the place, & loved the history of the place.

This place is the hidden jewel of the Marietta Square! Ive been going here for 2 decades and have NEVER had an unpleasant experience. Dive bar vibes but not dumpy in any way. Live music outside, fire pit, multiple bars, sections of nooks with couches for sitting, the best bartenders and the atmosphere for a great time. Any type of disrespectful behavior, rudeness or undesired commotion, will be dealt with swiftly and immediately by the staff. This makes for the best experience in bringing a date, meeting up with friends or wanting to meet new people. Do yourself a favor, and ask for Gaines when ordering drinks!

Just discovered this place... Super quaint! Like being in Scotland... Feels like there are layers of history here. Ordered the fish and chips... Arguably the best I've ever had! 2 big meat slabs of fish... Hand battered and fried when I ordered them... Tasty chips too. Even yummy tarter sauce, which I usually find to be so generic and tasteless that there is no need to bother with it... But not here! Can't wait to come back for the Scottish breakfast... With black pudding even. Was nice to see them flying the Pride flag as well!!

I visited St. Patrick's Day, 2023, and the food was amazing. It was my first visit and it will not be my last. The reuben is so good, I ate the whole sandwich. I normally can only eat half, it was just too yummy to put down. I look forward to visiting with the full menu.

This place is out of this world! There are so many different spots within this place, the outside fire pit, the downstairs bar and best of all.. the upstairs. The bartender upstairs was one of the friendliest, most personable, gems of a human being. The food is also fire. 20/10 would recommend.

Our first time going and we had a great time! It was crazy busy on a Saturday during a big event on the square. But the bar and wait staff was right on it with a great attitude and a fun and cheerful disposition! My brother declared it was his new favorite place and is going to apply for a job at MacCracken's. 🙂 Thanks MacCracken for a lovely Saturday afternoon!

I recently visited this bar and had a memorable experience. The bartender, Eric, greeted me with a witty remark before promptly serving me my beer and coffee. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, and Eric even took the initiative to maintain a pleasant environment by handling some disruptive patrons. We continued to exchange banter as I savored my drinks. Overall, I had a great time and would highly recommend this bar.

It took a while for us to receive service and there were only four people in total at the multiple bars they have including us two so six in total at lunch hour. Bartender would come up and check on us every 20 mins. I mean that's quite long considering there were hardly anyone here and it was lunch hour so this place was surprisingly dead. There was no reason to check on us two times with it being nearly 20 mins apart just because we wasn't sure on what to order for food and drinks that doesn't mean we want to wait 20 mins after we were checked on in the first time and then the second time we were checked on we ordered drinks and still waited a while. Now, when it was to eat, the Philly steak was very dry, no flavor, and hardly any meat. I sprinkled salt to help with that but I just still couldn't eat it. It was like a rubber chew toy. Did I look like a canine that needed something to just chew on cause I came here to try their raving food that I read from their reviews. However I must say, the people were nice, just can't service and cook right. We will not be coming back.

Amazing food and AMAZING SERVICE!! I went in to pick up my order today and the guy in the kitchen asked me if I was in a rush, then told me the tater tots for my Irish nachos were a little too crispy and offered to remake them. I told him it was fine and he had me try a couple to make sure I liked them before I got my order. Needless to say, they tasted great and it was extremely kind of him to offer to remake them. Love this place!!

An eclectic and popular Marietta dive bar with multiple levels, two different bars, and live entertainment. A great beer selection, good drinks, and slammed on the weekends. FUN! Can't comment on food as I have not eaten there.

Great atmosphere! Fun place that does it right! So smart that they have water coolers for those not drinking or recovering. Takes pressure off the bar staff. They also have free stew at the door in a huge industrial crock pot! Who does that? And it was delicious. We ordered food anyway just to show appreciation for the pub style.

Visited while on vacation and I wish I lived closer to it! The food was great, staff was amazing, and I loved the atmosphere. The wings are so good and the fried pickles are very yummy!

This place exudes coolness from every nook and cranny. Extremely interesting interior a bunch of great Celtic themed decorations. The food is as spectacular! I've never had anything bad, the corned beef & cabbage is unreal. If you're looking for drinks, they have everything you could want. I go often whenever I'm in Marietta. Love this place!!!

If you are looking for true Irish pub atmosphere look no further as this is the place. I have been to a lot of Irish pubs and this one ranks right at the top. Food is great. One of the best shepherds pies I had . Bangers and mash uumm. Great selection of beers on tap. Taking my family there today.

Stopped by on a Friday afternoon with some coworkers for a drink. From the time you walk in, its a total pub feel. A great selection of traditional English and Irish beers as well as local brews. Plenty to choose from. The food menu is concise and diverse. I ordered a Reuben sandwich and the meat was wonderfully tender. Service was great and the beer garden space, out back, was decorated with smatterings of England, Ireland, beach, and American party themes. I didn't stay too late, but the scene was picking up by 9pm. Looking forward to going back.

by far and away the best bar in Marietta. I have so many good memories here. the beer selection is off the charts, all the staff are cool, the building itself is amazing and it has so much history.

Came in on 4/29/22 around 6:05. The bar did get busy upon our arrival. We sat at the bar and saw the bartender was busy, and in an attempt to make things a little easier, went to the register to order drinks. I ordered two drinks and got one immediately and was told my other one would be there in a minute. I sat and watched as every person in the bar got a drink and even walked up to the register to see if maybe I had been forgotten. When I realized my beer wasn’t coming, I paid for my friends beer and headed out. I get being busy but there were several couples around us that had got their whole drink order and food orders in, and somehow I was overlooked. Kind of bummed out cause this place seemed cool.

A few weeks ago I ordered an old fashioned and thought it was lackluster. I got another from another bar recently and realized the McCracken one was awful. Was extremely watered down and, in retrospect, disappointing.

I’m giving this place 5 stars because of the atmosphere and friendly folks that frequent here. I got the fried green tomatoes, which were terrible, but the beer was great and the bartender was absolutely fantastic. I would go there for a beer again. The food? Probably not. But who cares, it’s a bar and the people are sweet.

Great bar in Maritta Square. Staffs are nice and the people there have good vibe. I went there with my girlfriend and her friends, and we had a good time. Would love to come back again since it's super close to our house.

A real family run bar. They take pride in what they do and solve problems. Food can be inconsistent but the drink selection is good and the bartenders are good company. They used to have a buffet with corned beef and bangers on it, that was a deal! They source meats from Pataks. One of the few bars in the metro area where you can mingle with everyone, its not just a bunch of groups going out only to talk among themselves. A blessing to the community

Great spot to grab a casual drink, later hours make it perfect for a crawl or night owls. Super casual, friendly & relaxed bartends lounge, table and bar seating available, all self serve/order at bar. Wouldn't recommend going on a Monday, half the restaurant is closed for deep clean and the only other half open is open mic stand up. I'm a big fan of open mic events but the bar is set so low for the people that go up and the few times I went was always cringe or garbage on stage.

A fairly standard Irish themed bar and pub. Locals seem to love it and are quick to point out the sawdust floors. I will give credit they the cod fish and chip is very good. If you’re in the area it’s worth a stop but I wouldn’t trek to a Marietta specifically for this.

Not a big fan of fish, but the Fish & Chips here is excellent. Great flavor without tasting fishy. Good value

👍 Awesome place! My son loved racing around the Mini Mario track. He’s four and that track is for 4-7 year olds, over 36” in height. He’s still too small for every other attraction, but I’m looking forward to the laser tag and different virtual reality simulators offered. If you buy a membership, it’s...
