This place receive a one star because the only best thing is our server. She was very friendly and the ONLY person that talked to us. I waited in line for 45 minutes for people to skip me in line to be seated so I left. Later that night, I came back and people are still rude. The server, host, and bartender didn’t even talked to us when we were waiting to be seated. The place has a limit of around 230 people, but there’s more people there. No one tell us where to be seated so we sat ourselves. The food we ordered came out cold and not delicious. Their famous crab cluster whatever with chips is so old and not tasty. The meal overall is greasy and old. I don’t recommend eating here and I expected it better.

Inside the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, Atrium level. It was surprisingly empty when we arrived shortly before 7:00 on a Saturday night, but did fill up later. Our server was very friendly and helpful, keeping our water glasses full, and others checked on us also as we dined. The menu is very small. My dining companion's chicken Caesar salad was pretty standard. I had the pulled pork and the meat was very tasty. The accompanying special barbecue sauce was way too sweet for my taste. The French fries were cooked just right. Multiple TVs playing every variety of sports. It was not cheap but the prices are standard for this kind of hotel.

It is hotel worthy food and beverage with a great sports decorated ambiance. The meals are great, it just takes a minute later to get to your table, the servers are amazing. If you are there by yourself or with friends it will be a nice little vibe work or play. Enjoy!!

Be sure to ask for Bernard. Impeccable service! Especially for what is listed as a "sports bar". Sound is down on the TV during games, but music (pop) is playing. Wings were almost perfect. Striploin came out right the second time. Bartender is knowledgeable and cavalier with the rum at least...

I had one of the best ribeye steak at this restaurant, it was juicy and I just loved it. The salmon was good too. The best part was the dessert. They gave us chocolate fudge cake with vanilla ice cream on request and it was OMG awesome. I will definitely be going back to this bar and restaurant.

I try to give fair reviews and I felt I could only give this 1 star because after being told there was a 30-40 minute wait we were "suggested we go somewhere else". It was an extremely busy Saturday night in Atlanta everywhere. There was a concert, the Mayor's ball, a college bowl game, and a modeling competition all in town and that was just at the two hotels were were near. The small restaurant was packed and seamed very short staffed but none the less all the tables were full and more than a dozen people waiting. When we arrived we were only 4th on the list so we felt confident in waiting. As more people came to the hostess suggests so many people order at the bar if they didn't want to wait, it essentially shut the restaurant down. More people kept coming up and she was giving them 45-60 minute wait time now. After we checked on our table she told is it would be a it would be the same for us. I reminded her nicely we had already waited 30 minutes and she said she knew but the kitchen was so backed up they can't take anymore orders or people. So I asked her than if that is true isn't the wait time more than an hour and a half? She said yes and she the suggested to most of us standing there that we try somewhere else because she didn't know when she could seat anyone. I know the pandemic has cause staff and supply shortages and none of that is in their control but there was no sign of a manager anywhere, no communication, and ultimately after waiting (which delayed us getting into any other restaurants quickly) we were turned away. Since it's unlikely I'll be visiting Atlanta any time soon I'm not sure I'll be able to try it again but if they could figure out their staffing and management I'm sure it's at least a 3-4 star but I wouldn't know.

HORRIBLE The staff was nice. The food! WTH I paid $46 for a drink and a dollop of mashed potatoes. I ordered the pork rib with potatoes and green beans. Well I guess they were out of beans because I didn't get any and neither did the serves ask if I would like some other vegetable as substitute. The rib was at least 50% chewy fat. I got maybe 2oz of actual meat. That meal was $28, but my bill came to $46, so I guess their mixed drinks are $18 a piece. This was so disappointing I ended up walking to the Hub to get a slice of cheap pizza which was bad and yet way better than this meal. What a waste of money. 100% do not recommend.

Absolutely love this place! Great service and great food! I highly recommend the chicken tenders tossed in hot sauce. I promise you they're addictive! I literally went back to back in 2 days to get them. The fries are also really really really good, they have some type of seasoning that's finger licking good! Trust me, this place won't disappoint..

Stopped in for dinner while attending a conference. Sat at the bar so there was no wait for a table. Three bartenders working, all were friendly and attentive. Ordered a Guinness, burger, and fries. Beer was cold, food was hot and prepared as ordered. Only downside are the prices, typical over the top hotel restaurant pricing.

The waitresses was nice, the food arrived at the table timely. The food was just ok! I was part of a group of six and the burger was not cooked to the liking of the diner. Several of the employees were just standing around looking.

We entered as soon as they opened and sat at the bar bc we had an event at the hotel. It took awhile to get our food. People after us got their food and payed. The servers were focusing on one side of the bar. A customer next to us had to get up and ask for help. The worse part of the visit is my sister's glass was cut and she swallowed glass. The managers never came over and apologized, they kept looking over at us. The food was good but lukewarm. Other customers next to us was complaining about cold food. Again this was shortly after opening. Would not recommend.

Decent food, just a little expensive for what you’re paying. Portion size was a bit small, but didn’t taste bad. Our waitress was nice, attentive and she seemed to care about us.

The ATL Nachos are aaahhmazing! with chili! Bar selection is extensive and bartenders are very professional and mix a very nice drink. Lots on tap too. Great little place upstairs in the Mariott Marquis.

Good food but they need to hire more staff. Hamburger took 40 minute arrive. 15-25 minutes for drinks due to 1 person for entire bar. Salmon was good but took 30 minutes. Please represent better as this place has so much potential!

The food was okay for the price. It took the staff a while to get the food to our table and it was cold. Some of us had to send our food back. The waitress didn't bother to check on us during our meal to see if we needed anything. Truthfully he seemed very spaced out. The Chessebuger was okay just had a little bit too much seasoning on it for me. Overall it was just okay for an upscale restaurant.

Burgers was delicious 10/10. Fries was okay McDonald's had more flavor. Salad was very good. Service was a bit slow, didn't have steak we wanted. Spent 200 bucks , burgers saved the meal.

Was told there was a 10-20 minute wait. After 45 minutes, I asked about a table. They sat us immediately. Its been 30 minutes and we still have not even been greeted by a server, let alone been able to oder anything. This started at 10 pm. They now close in 40 minutes and we are still waiting for a server. I wish I could tell you how the food it, but im afraid I'm not going to experience it tonight. Very disappointed. Update... After 40 minutes a server came to our table. She apologized for the delay and sent the manager to speak with us. There was a miscommunication about who was supposed to take our table. He offered a discount off our bill for the inconvenience. While I ended up just ordering an appetizer and dessert because it was so late at night, the fudge cake is delicious. The service turned out to be great.

Ordered chicken nachos. 5 hours later they ordered me to the toilet for a few hours. Maybe they used expired chicken or tomatoes? Not sure, but certainly made my night unpleasant. Horrible service. Almost nobody in the restaurant and still took 25 minutes until someone arrived. Extremely overpriced. Nobody should be paying $20 for a bad appetizer and $16 for the worst margarita ever made.

Wow! The pulled pork nachos is a must-try. My son and his friend really enjoyed the Shirley temple there too! Outstanding and friendly service. We will definitely come back!!

An honest review from a former bartender and server. You guys are going to have big bug problems during Dragon Con. Here's why: I sat down, ordered a bourbon sour, and got the strongest bourbon spur I've ever tasted. The bartender never does a quality check. I see that the other bartender is busy, I pull someone else aside so that I can get it in a tall glass with some mour sour mix, so it doesn't taste so bad. I got the burger and no quality check for that either. The bartender had the opportunity to check if I though it was food, which it was, but still it was kind of off putting. I got the bill with my drink, 31.xx and yes, I still tipped, 9 dollars, because I understand server and bartending can be hard, BUT, it wasn't even that busy. I would've tipped more and left a better review if I actually had decent service. I don't think this person is a bad person but the vibes were not there at all. Best of luck during Dragon Con!

No wait, even during a busy convention. Really great cocktails & delicious BBQ sandwiches & perfect fries. But what really made our visit perfect was our waiter Nita! She was friendly, funny, attentive & had excellent suggestions. She's a great asset to this restaurant!

Average hotel bar. Prices are high, drinks are average. And I should deduct a star simply because they can't even show all the games. It touts itself as a "sports bar" but they don't even have MLB.tv? Really!?! Marriott. You can do better.

The food and cocktails were really good, however the service was pretty meh and the food and drinks are pretty pricey. But I think it's worth it to come back again.

We arrived to our hotel room late and exhausted and decided to try this restaurant since it was in the hotel and open late. We ordered an app, a drink, and two meals- nothing fancy. The Lisadilla (I think it was called) with chicken and corn salsa was very good, hands down the best thing we ordered. I ordered a bbq burger and my partner ordered the steak option. My burger was alright- well cooked, tasted good. BBQ was a bit too sweet for my liking and they drown the burger in bbq sauce, making the onion rings soggy- Fries were pretty standard. My partners steak was a bit over done and under seasoned, but again, it was alright. Not great. The kicker was that we paid about $100 for a quesadilla, a burger+fries, a small strip steak+fries, and a single mixed drink. Talk about a STEEP markup for bar food. Additionally, halfway through our meal we noticed a small group of flies accosting us for our food. It was unpleasant. Overall- wasn’t terrible food (also not great), service was lacking but our server was nice. Place was moderately clean- floors were a bit sticky and our table had old drink rings that wiped off when rubbed with a finger- things that can easily be overlooked when cleaning a big place. Price was FAR higher than I would normally pay for bar food, even downtown and in an ok hotel. Given a do-over, I would probably go somewhere else or just wait and have a big breakfast the next day.

Soo good. I ordered a burger, onion rings, shrimp tacos, and fries with my mom and it was super delicious! Although it was about a 45 minute way to get the food it made it so full so fast in a good way. The onion rings were crispy along with the fries!! The staff were also so sweet and kind to us!

We decided to stay at the hotel for dinner and tried High Velocity. The service was great! We had the bartenders She’la and Phillip and they could not have been more attentive. Also the food was amazing. Highly recommend the salmon and strip loin!

We were on vacation in Atlanta and stayed at the Marriott Marquis. The restaurant was on the top floor of the 47 story hotel. It was really COOL! The food was great!

Me and two others went here. Overall the food wasn’t bad but the burger was burnt and serving size was a little big. But the service was really slow. We waited 20 minutes for the waitress to give us our water, then we had to wait another 30 minutes for our food. I would get if the restaurant was booked but there wasn’t a lot of people. With some more staff maybe this place would be better.

Service was a tad slow but it was dragon con so yaknow... It happens. Delicious food, I got chicken strips and they were perfectly tender.

Got the wings as a meal and they were great. Good atmosphere and attentive staff. Would absolutely go again. I was pleasantly surprised after seeing they only had 3.5 stars.

Visited the bar here while staying in the Marriott on vacation, and the staff were all wonderful! When my friend's drink turned out to be a little too strong, a bartender volunteered to remake it for her for no extra cost. Service was great, drinks were great, and my turkey burger was delicious— I've never had it with chow chow before, but I'm hooked! I would absolutely recommend this restaurant, especially if you're staying in the Marriott, and especially especially if you come on one of the slower week nights!

I am writing this review while in the restaurant. I was excited to check it this restaurant because of the atmosphere. Well, sad to say, I was disappointed. We noticed that someone who came in after us got their order before we did. The food received was cold as we can tell it had been sitting somewhere. Funny fact we were able to see two members of management floating around but only to micromanage the employees. Ordered a second beer, which we never got. We had to ask the hostess in the hallway for our receipt, and then the waiter showed up, took the plates off the table, and said nothing. So much for Southern hospitality. Will DEFINITELY not come back!

😠 DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Terrible service! The server cannot remember what you ordered…it cannot be that hard to write it down. Friends waited for (Hennessy) drinks…at the same table for an hour and 15min. It took the bartender 3 tries….It took over an hour to get food even with a reservation. YOU CAN...
