I've been here before for brunch, but food time we went for dinner. They had a DJ there playing music that evening. The song selections were great. They ran a special on their specialty drinks. Buy 1 and get 2 clusters of crab legs for$10. This was a great deal to me. Their clusters were huge and very filling. The servers were nice, drinks were banging, food was good, music set the tone for the night clean restrooms... it was great. I will definitely be back. Great service and food. My wife and I ordered the shrimp/chicken and waffles dish and the salmon hash with eggs. Quick service and hot food. I would definitely recommend you visit for brunch. We sat in the bar area and the bartender was so attentive and make a great Jameson and Ginger.

What a gem of a place. Authentic southern food with a slight Caribbean flair. We were a group of 6 on a Friday night, but there was no wait for a table. We got the wings as an app and good God were they amazing. I am fairly certain these are the best dry rub wings I've had in my life. Followed it up with the jambalaya, which was extremely filling. Took about half of it to go because portion sizes were so generous. Cocktails were decent, I had the Mule.

DINING HERE WAS REALLY BAD! We ordered the calamari. When it arrived we started eating it and noticed there was a peice of battered, fried, plastic in the dish. We made mention of this to the manager and we overlooked it. We laughed and asked that they make sure there was no more trash in the food. The server reccomended that we try the spinach as a side. Our entrees arrived and we started eating, only to find more debris in our food. We ordered spinach, but we were served kale and we knew it was kale by the wrappers left in the food. I don't think kale was even on the menu. The manager came over again and was somewhat unapologetic, but we assumed he would comp the meal or at least the items that had trash in them. To our surprise, the police were called while we were finishing the remainder of our meal that didn't have trash in it. This was completely humiliating and being that they never brought a check and we were still sitting at the table carefully picking through our food. We were in total shock that police came to our table as if we we had stolen something or were about leave without settling our tab. We were still sitting there talking and trying to make the best of a horrible situation. Wow I really wasn't expecting that!!!.

We went on a Friday early and it was not busy, however, they did get crowded later on. They had live music which is nice. The fried shrimp and grits was the highlight of the meal. The fried snapper really needed more seasoning, best to try grilled instead. The calamari was good, but not a big serving. The drink prices are too high ($13 for Jamieson and coke). The staff was nice. They have valet parking for $10, which I recommend, because the area is not so great.

Bbbbbbaaaaabbbbbbyyyyyyyy let me tell you something.......Sweet Auburn was phenomenal. Great service all around from the hostess to waiters/waitresses to the bus boys. Jasmine was an excellent server. She gave us opinions on entrees and she made some pretty great recommendations. I feel like me n my friends sampled a variety of food with us all ordering different plates n sides. I cannot wait to go back so I can try the shrimp burger n the shrimp n grits. They had music playing n the later a really nice live band I believe and the music was not loud and overbearing. Great for a date night or just a night out. I WILL BE RETURNING.......all I ask is that yall dont run out of the nana puddin

I've always loved the ambiance and I used to really enjoy the food here, but not so much anymore. Our appetizers were good.... shrimp and fried rice and bang bang shrimp. Our main selections were either too spicy or had little or no seasoning whatsoever. My husband had the shrimp and grits and I had the crab cakes w/ sweet potatoes (or yams). The crab cakes were okay, nothing special---yams tasted like they were not ripe; definitely shouldn't have been cooked. The grits were bland, shrimp was good tho. I'll give them another try, but probably not until next year. It's not a cheap date, so I'll wait awhile before giving them another chance. With tip, the cost a little over 100 bucks. Forgot to take pics of the entrees.... sorry.

First time experience. I will definitely return and soon. From the time I arrived until our departure excellent service. The food was so delish, I can remember whether I snapped a pic, lol. I had the salmon, garlic spinach and roasted potatoes! Meet a close friend for dinner on Wednesday. Awesome experience coupled with a free dessert from the owner!?!

A group of 9 of us had lunch today. We were seated immediately. Nice ambiance on the inside but it is on Auburn Ave and there may be some characters outside. Our waiter Mark Pinto was excellent. This was the first visit for most of us and he patiently described the more popular dishes. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was amazing. The portion was generous. I had leftovers. Others in my group ordered the seafood burger and salmon burger. Everyone was please and we will be back to try other dishes. Try to get Pinto as your waiter, he will take good care of you.

Had dinner here with family and friends. We had a designated area due to the amount of people. The waitress Shawn was excellent. Our food came nice and hot. Also it was live music which was a plus.

The food was soooooooo good. The drinks were strong and the service was spectacular. The crabcakes were just that Crab cakes, not a lot of fillers and they were seasoned well. The grits melted in my mouth and the pancakes were huge. I definitely recommend them for brunch.

Delicious food and great service. This was our second time visiting and we definitely enjoyed the food. It's such a cute restaurant, would really recommend it as a date night restaurant. The gumbo was delicious and so was the seafood nachos. No complaints at all!

Service was fast and friendly. We arrived early for brunch and all ordered food we enjoyed. Mimosas were also tasty. The price for bottomless mimosas was also fair, though it costs extra for certain flavors. But the fact that they had so many flavors to begin with was awesome to me as I’m not the biggest fan of standard orange.

😠 DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Terrible service! The server cannot remember what you ordered…it cannot be that hard to write it down. Friends waited for (Hennessy) drinks…at the same table for an hour and 15min. It took the bartender 3 tries….It took over an hour to get food even with a reservation. YOU CAN...
