Terribly ran. I was denied entry because the owner of the venue decided to pick sides like a high schooler and let the opening act artist deny me entrance. I was there with a group of friends to see our friend play but since the opening act does not like me because of personal issues between us that has nothing to do with the owner or anybody else.. I could not see my friend perform. Do not come here if you have any differences between any acts there, they will let them abuse power, choose their side, and deny you entry, bad or no reason at all. Very unethical owner and business. Even a venue way higher up than them told me their reasoning is very weird and bizarre.

Been here for a show only once so I regret not coming here more often for that but have visited the patio on several occasions. Patio looks out across over to Flat Iron so good spot to scope out if things are getting interesting over there. For me I'd stop here to start off the mid afternoon weekend drinking and then go from there. Convenient window at the bar so you dont have to waste time going around inside to grab another drink.

One of my favorite places to watch a show. It's never overly packed and service has always been decent. I'd say avoid it if you're not a smoker because outside is just a big smoke fest.

Surprisingly friendly service from all the staff I interacted with, and they also have the POS system linked so you don't have to open multiple tabs. A couple of the draft beers I had were stale but that wasn't unexpected. I'd say this place exceeds expectations for a music venue, but not sure I'd stop by for any other reason

Fun dive bar showcasing local and touring acts. Good selection of drinks and fair prices. Incredible sound production experience for the size of the venue. Smokers patio outside and adjacent to many EAV restaurants and bars. A good night out.

Great atmosphere and vibes. Whiskey sour that we ordered was not good. Would stick to beer.

I come here because of the fun comedy show they have on Saturdays at 3:30. Great place to go get some drinks with friends!

529 is a ripping little spot for locals and any out of towners who happen to make their way here. Depending on who you see it gets loud, it gets rowdy, and it is nothing less than true to exactly what it is: a neighborhood hang out and a no frills local venue.

Excellent bar and live music venue to catch your favorite indie artists. It's a small location but it has plenty of space for a good crowd. Two separate bars with affordable drinks and friendly vibes.

Ample parking, lighted outdoor seating in courtyard, drink window, clean restroom, nice staff. These amenities only enhanced my great comedy event. Thanks, guys!

Great music, great drinks, very cool venue. Only downside is parking but you can find spots off of side-streets. Saw Michael Cera Palin, The Holy Ghost Tabernacle Choir, GILT, and Less Dead 💚 Everyone was fantastic and I'm excited for the upcoming shows

I came to this bar with some of my girlfriends from high school the other night. We were at the bar ordering drinks and a roach flew out of nowhere and hit me in the face. It landed in my friend’s drink and when we told the bartender in hopes of her getting a new drink, he said it added more flavor. So disappointing, will not be back. 🪳

Always a vibe. Love their little patio and the upgrades they made to the venue are top notch.

Awesome night, the DJ's had me dancing all night long. DJ Tag and his edits were straight ridiculousness. I might've lost 5 lbs by the end of the night. Best fun since before the pandemic.

Great location in east Atlanta. A cozy bar and a cast of patrons that attend. I went and saw a comedy show with live music after and it was a blast.

Very small cozy bar. A modest size beer selection. Bartenders were friendly and quick to provide service. I was here for a show and the sound was fairly good from an audience stand-point.

529 rules. And if you think different, let's get a drink there. You won't hold that same opinion after. Bartenders are hip, they always know what you need. Music's top-notch, too, always with the perfect b-movie on the screen.

Some local metal bands played here and I came specifically to see them. No food ordered, nor am I one to consume any alcohol, so I can't comment on that, but the venue was extremely intimate--translate: 300 people made for a super tight fit. I was belly up at the stage so the press came from behind. Better that than having all the drunk sweaty people blocking my view of the stage. Other than that, I really did enjoy the show. Decent neighborhood too for safety and parking.

I went here not knowing what to expect & im happy I did. Live music, great crowd, & good drinks. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was, because there wasnt alot of room inside

Great intimate venue. Bands were great. Psychic Death, The Difference Machine and Upchuck! Upchuck was really great!
