The atmosphere was very pleasant clean and inviting. Had the “marriage of the century” burger with mac and cheese and the fried green beans as an extra side. Everything was fresh and hot, food was delicious, shake was great, and service was attentive and caring with nice conversation; we were greeted as soon as we came in and weren’t left with empty cups. We left with full satisfied bellies. Cool experience.

Was told by a friend that this place was worth checking out for a burger and boy did it not disappoint. First of all the burger was fantastic, i ordered the 1/3 pound yankee burger. It was cooked perfectly to medium rare standards, super juicy and flavorful and not over cooked. The vegetables were fresh, bacon cooked perfectly( not too crispy), and it had a nice mildly spicy sauce. They also serve baked green beans which are my new favorite thing with ranch. The server was very kind and atmosphere was great. Food took a while to arrive but was every bit worth the wait, highly recommend

We LOVED IT!!!! My husband and I enjoyed our big burgers... I had the black and blue and he had the Holly matrimony.... He had fries and I had fried chips. We share so it was perfect. I have never had home made chips before🤑🤑 The owner waited on us and I love her personality. She helps you decide on how to cook your meat the way you like it. The 50's theme is so awesome..

I was excited to try Kirby G's since they had a 4.5 rating. However, my bacon, Swiss, and grilled onion burger was just above mediocre. We went in around 8 pm, but I don't think time should matter. The burger had a good flavor, but it was dry, and the bun and bacon were cold. The fried potato chips were cold, as well, like they had been fried much earlier. My 21 and 16 year old loved the fries. Our server, Mattison, was awesome and very accommodating!

Yum yum YUUUUM. It's been a while since I've been back to an area where you can ask for "sweet tea" and they don't look at you like you have TWO HEADS and then say "sugars on the table". Ummm. Sweet tea, served with a sweet smile and attitude! Both gals working there took great care of us. We ordered and appetizer and a lunch, not realizing just how generous the appetizer would be! Fried green beans, friend onion peels and pretzel bites with cheese dip and ranch dip! Oh my goodness! THEN, the chicken tenders, which came with fries (yup, carb coma!). The chicken was good and crunchy on the outside, tender and yum on the inside. Husband had a good BBQ/bacon burger with the BEST tater tots! Crunchy on the outside, cooked to perfection. No room for dessert, as we took two boxes of left overs home! We will be back for dessert soon, ladies! Thanks so much for the warm, southern welcome home!! 💜💜

First time visit. Went with my family for dinner, and enjoyed the visit. I order wings, they were DELICIOUS. My wife ordered the James Dean burger which was also really good. The fries were so crispy!!!!!!!! But the highlight of our meal was the cup of chili and the sweet potato tater tots with marshmellow dipping sauce. I will be back for the chili and tots. Great service, Great food. Will be returning!

1st time here & it was my decision to go…celebrating an early b-day ! It took a little longer to be seated than what I was expecting, but it did look kinda full for a Thursday night (which was a good sign). I read the reviews & liked what I read. Unfortunately, I didn’t get pics of all the food (it came out in spurts & everyone was hungry) ! My “Marriage Burger” was cooked to perfection & tasted great ! I heard no complaints from the other 5, so it must’ve been good 👍🏻. The service was good, but not over the top…but no biggie for me. I don’t like to eat out much, but I’d probably visit this place again !?! 🤔😁🤩😇

It looked 10 times better than it tasted. I love trying new places, and actually went to A Cup of Comfort first but ended up leaving hungry after almost an hour and a half waiting. This spot has some good reviews, and I pass it all the time, so I figured I’d check it out. It’s a good thing they have signs posted showing you what you should do if choking because these burgers were drier than old ppl skin in the winter! Their homemade ranch was damn good, but even dunking my burger in that didn’t help! For me issa no. Cook Out has way better burgers and fries for a quarter of the price. I won’t be going back.

The other reviews mentioned the amazing burgers, but I wasn't expecting how delicious they were!! Best burgers I've ever had and the perfect portions. I felt like I was sent back in time as soon as I walked in the diner. The atmosphere only added to the amazing food GO TRY THE BURGERS!!

This was my second trip to KirbyGs as recommended by a local person. I love the atmosphere of the 50s diner! The music was on point as well as the decor. Our service was a little slow, but our food was worth the wait as a good burger normally is! Our server was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. A great place to visit when passing through!

This place is always a great spot to get lunch or dinner. Excellent selection of burgers and beers. Family friendly, while being respectful of the non-children there IYKWIM

IMO this is the best diner in Georgia. ABSOLUTELY the best burger's in the world. The staff is incredibly friendly and always gives great service. I've never met Neil, the owner, but maybe I'll get one of these days. We usually visit a couple times a month.

(I know this is a bit long....bear with me...it's all good) Today was my first time at Kirby G's Diner. I had waited a very long time to finally be able to go since we're up in Atlanta. I have been following them on Instagram for about a year but today we had an opportunity to go. And I was double excited because their burger that won them the 2018 World Food Championships was available this week! The Chunky Guacamole Burger with Candied Bacon. First let me say this place has a really great retro diner vibe. Cool old photos and knickknacks are everywhere. The black and white checkered floor, the red vinyl booths and black and silver bar stools and the regular tables...all very cool. The girl who waited on us could not have been nicer or more efficient. I am sorry I didn't catch her name but she did a great job! Now for the food: We split an appetizer of Mr. Green Jean's Beans, battered and deep fried green beans served with ranch dressing. Then my wife ordered the Crosby's Chicken Salad and I ordered the The Chunky Guacamole Burger with Candied Bacon with fries. Everything was really good and freshly prepared. But when my burger came, it didn't look like the photo on their Instagram site. It seemed there was a good bit less guacamole than is normally served with this burger. To be fair, it turns out they have a 2/3 lb. burger (mine was 1/3) so maybe you get more on the bigger burger? If that's the case, I understand but wish I had thought about ordering the larger one. I had that photo from their IG site seared in my head and was expecting that. Having said that, the burger was excellent. I mean, really good. That guacamole was the best I've ever had and the candied bacon really added to it. My wife loved her salad, too. We will definitely go back and spend a little more time. I'd love to try their shakes or take advantage of that cool full bar in the back. My recommendation to anyone wanting to order the The Chunky Guacamole Burger with Candied Bacon is make sure you are aware there is a larger size so you can get all the goodness you possibly can! But even if its not on the menu when you go, there is a lot of great sounding food on there to choose from!

Food was SO DELICIOUS. We got a root beer float, Aunt Bea’s Trio, and a 2/3 cheeseburger. Crazy good. The food came out in a great time and the waitress was super nice and attentive.

We really enjoyed the 50s vibe here and the food was great. Fried greenbeans dipped in spicy mayo sauce was perfect. We all had different burgers and all were delicious, as were the shakes. We will be back.

The staff was nice but for award winning the burgers were not great. They weren't cooked med-well as we asked and as it says on the menu they will be cooked. The kids burger is smaller than a slider. The sweet pot tots were regular frozen, I wish they were made there. I got one that's supposed to have pulled bacon and it tasted old. I was expecting more flavor and better quality. The milkshakes were good at least. Also overpriced for the size, and on the menu it days comes w fries but somehow their system charges you per order.

Was in the area and wanted a burger... Googled to find a place and this place rated the highest. The only "drawback" for me was parking. It's in the town square. We walked in and even with only a couple of servers they were extremely attentive. It was a completely awesome experience. Since I had never been there before they gave me some recommendations. They had deep fried green beans which I never had before and would absolutely love to have again. The burger I had was awesome and the sliders my friend had looked amazing. They even cook burgers to temp. I didn't have a chance to try one of the milkshakes but they looked amazing as well. If I'm in mcdonough I will be back.
