Was treated to celebrate my birthday the food was really good! We had the Thai beef lettuce wraps, Butternut Squash Ravioli and Louisiana Egg rolls for appetizers and they were awesome. Full of flavor, the lettuce wraps had a gentle kick and were so savory! The egg rolls were a little soggy on the bottom but very tasty. And the Ravioli was amazing its definitely different texture wise but the sauce and pecans blend well with the squash. For our meal we had the Shepherds pie and Fish and chips with a side of Ratatouille. The Shepherds Pie was really good! Lots of flavor savory and just the right amount of cheese on top! And the bread was a perfect compliment. The fish and chips on the other hand I was very disappointed as my fish was scorched and the fries also. The fries were also extremely greasy and dark. Granted they were cooked with skins on and can appear darker but even the center pieces were very dark and saturated in oil. Kind of like being cooked in old grease. And they tasted scorched as well. The Ratatouille was great! Very flavorful and had a robust smell. For desert I had a brownie sundae, (texture and taste was more like a chocolate cake than a brownie) and they put a candle in it! The wait staff was great, kind and very attentive. I would definitely recommend this place just not the fish and chips. 🤗

Stopped by for a working lunch. Love the atmosphere of this place. Service was professional. Started the meal with Spicy Crispy Salmon. It was amazing! Moved on the a cup of She crab soup. They are generous with the grab. The flavor is nice and creamy smooth as well. I would advice to hold back a little on the olive oil. The fish and chips with the homemade tarter sauce was tasty. The portion is generous. The fish is fried perfectly. I was not disappointed.

Cramped restaurant and not in a cute cozy way. Everything took way too long to come out for the small amount that it was. Everything was overpriced for the quality, from the food to the drinks. Food had no flavor whatsoever and the cocktail was nothing special. The onion rings were atrocious. The ratatouille that came with one of our dishes tasted like tap water. There was just no seasoning of any kind. Appetizer plates looked dirty. Best thing we ordered was the water. We won’t be coming back, this place was a huge waste of time and money.

I've been trying every restaurant on Canton Street and this one is a staple. Justin and Kyle are really great - and the food is really great as well. I would recommend the egg rolls, the shrimp and grits - but the main star of the menu is their Chicken Fried Chicken. It's amazing every single time I order it. Miso broth on the Miso Salmon is a bit sweet, and bit thick for a miso.

Delicious! Recommend: shrimp and grits (good flavor), Roswell burger (suuuper good burger with perfectly crunchy fries), White pizza (had shrimp on it—I wasn’t a fan, but my sister who ordered it enjoyed it), Salt Factory salad with salmon. For 4 people with 4 entrees and 3 drinks, it was a little over $100, which isn’t bad. Wasn’t a huge fan of the Georgia Peach drink. It tasted like a peach-flavored vodka shot, which I know is the main ingredient in it, but I was hoping the other ingredients would balance it out a little better. We liked the F&H Mule (Moscow Mule) a lot more. Great service! Great experience!

Nothing is ever right here. Too many times visited - won't go back. Hit or miss. Been there a dozen times to eat. Keep hoping for food cooked to order, good wait service and pleasant bartenders. Don't think I will spend my money here again. It's loud and you can't talk to the person across the table without shouting anyways. The last visit was terrible and management would not follow up with me to hear about several big issues any restaurant owner would want to know about. Although I may be wrong since they were contacted 4 times and I have had no reply.

If you're in the mood for a burger, get the Steakhouse. So many flavors, they all come together just right. It's amazing. Parking can be tight and you might have to pay in the antique store lot next door, but it's worth it.

I give Salt Factory 4.5. Pricing is too high for the fare but service, ambiance, food are all worth patronizing regularly. I highly recommend SFP.

STOP PUTTING PLASTIC STRAWS IN DRINKS BEFORE PEOPLE ASK FOR THEM!!! THEY ARE RUINING THE PLANET!! I ALSO ASKED FOR THE LETTUCE, TOMATO, AND PICKLES TO BE ON THE SIDE, AND THEY PUT THEM ON THE BURGER!!! but the burger is pretty good tho

Cool place, nice staff, okay food. We had a group of 8 come in early and they seated us up front in a really nice space with plenty of room. The manager stopped by a couple of times to check on us and the service was generally okay. I’m pretty sure we had a new guy and he was a bit slow but okay. To me - everything tasted and looked overcooked to some degree. I ordered the fish & chips - the fish was definitely over cooked but not terrible. The fries were really good and the jalapeño coleslaw was just okay. I think it’s all fairly priced so that is a positive. My wife enjoyed her trout dish and we both enjoyed the egg rolls - which again appeared slightly overcooked. I tried a few of the other appetizers - they were decent. I’m glad I tried the place but I don’t see this being a regular dining place for me.

Our waiter was fantastic I think her name was Tara she did an excellent job! I ordered the white pizza with shrimp and it was delicious my first time having that combo and I would definitely try it again. The vibe at this restaurant was really laid back and chilled. The fries where a little suspect and the food took a while to come especially because the restaurant wasn’t that busy. Overall really chilled atmosphere the prices are reasonable, would go back for the pizza.

Ohhhhh my god!!! The food was amazing but that's a story for another time. I wanna talk about this service, Justin and Rebecca were phenomenal they gave me the cheat codes for the menu. I am so grateful to have been helped by those two, they were attentive and took the greatest care in assisting me with my order. They made my time at Salt, Roswell a brilliant occasion. Thank you!!!

Sat at the bar Saturday night and the service, food, and drinks were really bad. Bartender barley said a word other than y’all want something to drink. Had to ask for menus and he gave us one, but there were two of us so we asked for another. Ordered a burger and fries, which obviously sat in the expo window for a while. Fries were cold and soggy. Burger was sloppily made with hot lettuce and the overall flavor of was non existent. Outside of location I have no clue why they’re so busy.

  • 2/5 Tony R. 1 year ago on Google
Nice vibe, the service was fine. The chef tonight was probably some random person the grabbed off of the street, with no experience at all. My dates egg rolls were sliced long end to end, and cooked to mush consistency. I did not even recognize them as egg rolls. First, egg rolls should not be sliced at all, if so, they should be sliced in cross sections. My salmon salad was not editable. One bit of the fish, and I sent it back, either spoiled or close. I will try again someday, if it is better in fairness I will amend this review.

We stopped here for a friend’s birthday. Sunday brunch - the mimosas were so good, we had mussels (outstanding) and I had the Nashville chicken, so good and spicy. Complimentary bread pudding dessert for the birthday girl was a plus! Great atmosphere and bar!

we’re regular customers here and love the food, since they changed the manager this restaurant doesn’t have the same service anymore. They don’t write names when you walk in and no time frame when table will be available. last night 6 of us stopped by for food and drinks. All outdoor table are free and there is 2 customer sitting at the table with 6 chairs , they were done with the food and had little bit of wine left. They chit chat for an 1 hour and the manager could not ask them to leave or move to sit us. we left for the next restaurant. I thought the owner need to know how poorly this location is being managed.

5 stars a year ago, 5 stars again, April 2023. Love the skill and creativity of their menu. The stand out this time was the toasted rice salmon appetizer. It was a fantastic surprise that reminded me of the crispy rice at the edges of a hot stone bowl of Bi bim bop, with salmon tartar on top. We ordered a second one we loved it so much! We also split a salad, so the salad in the photo is a half salad. Can't go wrong with goat cheese on a toast point.. so much better than croutons! Drinks were fantastic of course, as well. Make this a destination if you haven't eaten here yet!

Dinner last night in downtown Roswell at the Salt Factory. Highs: fun, lively location Service was very good (do not have access to our servers name). Entrees: Shrimp & Grits-spicy and excellent. Butcher Block appetizer was enjoyed by all of our attendees. Salmon was said to be Awesome. Owner/Manager stopped by our table twice to check on our satisfaction (rarely occurs in other restaurants). Timing: perfect. Downside: Parking in downtown Roswell can be tough. Normally hard to get a table at this place BUT on a holiday weekend, it was not. Would I go back: YES indeed!

I frequently stop here as I live/work nearby. The food is consistently good, service is generally friendly (or at least pleasant) but on several occasions has lacked a sense of urgency - usually at that odd midday quiet time. It’s a good spot for any number of low-key occasions. It’s a touch on the expensive side for a nice casual place but not wildly out of pocket.

the food was good. my steak came with the garlic cheddar mashed potatoes. they were just OK. the cheddar was just a little shreds of cheddar cheese on top. the steaks was good. nothing that o was saying I have to go back and get another. my daughter and husband got the salmon over the rice cake and they enjoyed it. for the cost I would try another restaurant on the street. it was goog just nothing to rave about.

This rating is fully based on 1 meal. Burger was "average" at best, fries were soggy (after asking for crispy specifically). The butcher block app was good and well served. Can't say the prices I saw and the food I tasted work together.

Went during Restaurant week on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was full and we waited about 10 minutes for a table to open up that was not next to the door. Staff was friendly and interactive as we waited. Service.was excellent, and food came.out quickly. Since this was a 3 course dinner, itbwas more food than we normally order. However, it was all excellent. The bad news is we live 45 minutes away. Looking forward to coming back again as well as to try some other establishments on Restaurant Row! Enjoy!

I have eaten here 3 times and have gotten something different each trip. The food is soooo good and very much "homestyle" and hearty. I have left full and happy everytime! When people come to visit, I take them here!

My favorite place to go in Roswell! We always make a special stop just to eat here ❤️ unbelievably amazing food and a wonderful atmosphere.

  • 5/5 Steven B. 4 years ago on Google
Phenomenal food! The fried pickles are not too "pickley" and the cajun aioli is top notch. The Louisiana egg rolls are to die for, and intriguing combination of creole and asian and it. Just. Works. So good. The roswell burger was so tasty with the pimento cheese and green tomato, I mean yum! And last but certainly not least is the coup de grace: shepherds pie. WOW, I mean WOW. Hands down the best shepherds pie I have ever had. The lamb is noticable but not overpowering, while balanced with the sauce and potatos. Such a great combination. The beer selection is meh, but the whiskey, scotch, and bourbon selection is great. Will definitely make the trek from Macon just to come here again!

Great spot!! Atmosphere and service were phenomenal! Place is really neat, menu is creative and food presentation is great! Food was delicious! The Roswell burger is delicious and the Sheppard’s pie mouth watering too! We had the salmon tostadas as an appetizer and they were yummy too! Cool spot!!

Cool little place in a great spot! It's a dark bar type setting with some outdoor seating as well. There are a few beers on tap, tons of liquor and wine choices. Small menu but quality stuff. I has the steak sandwich & it was sooo good! The meat was tender & cooked perfectly to my preference. The bartender was friendly but not annoying. I'll be returning. Parking was confusing as a first time visitor but I found a spot behind the building.

Service was excellent! Wine / beer list was excellent! Food was outstanding! Heads up - brick walls, hardwood floors, small space. It's LOUD. But it's got pub in the name so we'll settle for "vibrant" and call it a great place for dinner. Get there early...

Service was great! Louisiana egg rolls & pork tacos were amazing. London broil was also very good but the onion rings served with it make no sense. Would like to see some broccoli or asparagus instead. Apple crisp dessert is average.

We went for the first time the other day and it was excellent. We sat at the bar and the service was too notch and extremely pleasant. The food was very good, the standout for me was the fried calamari - super crispy and tasty. I also got one of the burgers and it was delicious and came cooked as ordered. We will definitely be back!

Hubby and I shared a White pizza and a Roswell burger. Both were delishious. The white pizza could've had a few more shrimp but the crust was crispy and chewy and the cheese and garlic were flavorful without being heavy handed. The burger was juicy and medium rare as requested. The fries tasted hand cut but were a disappointment. Half of them were dark brown and tasted unpleasant. The blueberry bread pudding was large and sharable and totally scrumptious with popping juicy berries, moist bread and fresh ice cream. Fabulous!
