We tried Paschal's for the first time on Father's Day 2022. They had a live DJ for which was nice and a very family friendly environment. My kids especially enjoyed seeing the robots serving food. We had a table right by the kitchen so we saw tons and tons of mouth watering food. We ended up trying the voodoo shrimp, fried chicken, blackened salmon, and four veggie plate. The food was outstanding and they had some of the best sweet tea we've ever tasted. Our only complaint was that service was slow, but it was a holiday, so that was to be expected. We will definitely be back very soon.

A little pricey but the food is top quality. Added bonus of a little robot butler thingy that brings the food out for your server to set on the table. Baked chicken has great flavor. Ask for dark meat as the breast is dry. Got mine with Mac n cheese which was fantastic and the candied yams which is basically pie filling. Catfish is good, plenty of fish, very light breading, cooked perfectly. Wish there was just a little more flavoring in the breading, but otherwise excellent. Salmon is cooked well (on the edge of overcooked) and is well seasoned along with the little shrimps on top. Wasn’t mind blowing for the price but wasn’t disappointed either. For the owner, please either toss the side salad or present it in a bowl that makes it easier to mix. The irritation of trying to mix everything together for consumption outweighs the presentation. Cobbler is amazing, order it with some ice cream and it’s perfect. Overall pleased with the meal and would come back.

The servers are great and the environment is top notch. There is a good selection of items on the menu(southern classics) and a bar for a few booze. This is a great place for a business related meal and is open later than most places. Things to improve: The food is lackluster at best for southern cuisine minus the Voodoo shrimp and Salmon. There are 23 other places at better price points you would do better with. Avoid the lemonade and at $6 USD you will be glad to dodge it. It's fresh food so the prep and cook time are very long around 25-30 minutes but that could also just have been an off day.

I thoroughly enjoyed having our Thanksgiving meal here. Of course you had to schedule a reservation ahead of time. For two people it was $180. Not very bad but kind of pricey..however; being that it was a holiday we figured that was why there was a price increase. The check-in was pleasant no issues there. The only issue with the parking is you have to valet and valet is five dollars. There is no public parking around they have a parking lot, however it's all ballet. Once inside the restaurant we had to check in with the host pay our $180 Tab and then we were escorted to our seating area and our waitress came immediately and took our drink order and let us know we could take full advantage of the buffet style meal. Thoroughly enjoyed all the food. They had an array of Thanksgiving dishes, too many to name but every dish you could imagine was there! The desserts look very delicious they had an array of cakes and pies. I had a little bit of the cabbage, the broccoli casserole, the corn, the turkey and a piece of chicken LOL the turkey and the ham station was a hand carving area which they took pride and carving out the perfect piece how much drizzling it in their special sauce, other than gravy. The drinks were feeling. As I stated previously, the service was amazing. Our waitress was great she was very attentive, she checked on us numerous times throughout our visit. It did not start getting busy until about an hour after we sat down, and then it picked up really heavily. Nonetheless, it was a great experience and definitely a Filling one!

Nice Atlanta staple. This restaurant has a lot of history and nice atmosphere. Our waitress was very nice and gave recommendations. The strawberry lemonade and sweet tea were great. The shrimp was delicious and has a nice kick. Nice food portions and great music! We will be back soon!

PHENOMENAL SERVICE!!! Melissa was our server and she was truly incredible! Highly recommend to request her to serve you because she was exceptional. The food wasn’t the greatest and it was overpriced. I absolutely loved the peach cobbler for dessert; that alone made it all worth it. If I were to come back it would definitely be for the dessert.

This place is upscale but with a very comfortable laid back feel, Mr. Kenneth great is an understatement of how swell he runs this place I have had the personal pleasure of meeting him very professional and polite, Servers are incredible and timely about checking and attending to guest needs and the food is everything they say it is DELICIOUS i had the legendary fried chicken dinner with 2 sides and i must say its a definite 10 for me if not more i will definitely be back and not just for the food but also a new job position i had the pleasure of taking during my visit as well. Great Service and Staff A very well ran establishment.

We were on vacation in Atlanta and we were told that we HAD to eat at Pascal's Restaurant. Let me tell you, we were not disappointed! The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff were phenomenal and the atmosphere was great. If you want a premium dining experience go to Pascal's! The Civil Rights history is an added bonus to this experience.

As a visitor from out of state, this was a great first experience. The staff is attentive and courteous. And the food... OMG!! The fried catfish is absolutely amazing, fried to perfection and so perfectly golden. The brussel sprouts were my absolute favorite! That sweet chili sauce did it for me. We will definitely be back, possibly again before headed back to Texas.

Peach lemonade was superb. The food was tasty. Service was okay and robotic service was unique. Furniture was slightly tattered, repair needed. Valet parking was reasonably at $5 and made for smooth parking. I brought my cousin visiting from out of this country to visit a landmark. So the outing for the experience was great.

Although the place is really nice environment, the food was over priced to me. Everything has gone up extremely. My total was $106 for three people, that did include a$15 gratuity fee. What upset me most is that I got the catfish an only got one med-size piece for$20. My collards was very bitter and the Mac was just ok!

I had just flown into Atlanta and wanted some good southern food. The food was good. Loved the sweetness of the Candied Yams. The greens had great flavor and the seasoning on the chicken was perfect. The gumbo was a tad too salty for me. I would definitely come back and try something different.

I went simply because of its history. I was not impressed with the food, it was just okay. Only one of the appetizers were available for the day. That was shocking. I got the 3 piece chicken with yams and mac and cheese. I also ordered potato salad and collard greens. My husband got the Shrimp with black eyed peas and yams. Our daughter loved the shrimp sandwich. The wait was long but they had a sign asking for patience due to being short staffed. It was really clean so I appreciate that. I loved the historic pictures throughout the building as well.

Very clean and friendly establishment. No wait to be seated. Food was fresh and hot off the stove. That's good, now here comes the bad. All the food we ordered was under seasoned except for the mac & cheese, but every dish was a kid size portion to me. The mini cornbread muffin was tasty, but gone in one bite literally. To me Paschal's is extremely overrated, I will not be going back if I have to pay for it.

The first time my hubby and kid went everything was perfect! Food was so flavorful, the Mac n cheese was banging! Greens were delicious!Corn Bread was mouth watering! Fried Chicken was seasoned and fried to perfection 👌🏾. We had absolutely no complaints. We took our Mom a few month later and the food was wack!! Almost everything was under seasoned. Especially Mac n cheese, Greens and Chicken. I couldn't believe the huge difference in quality. The yams and corn bread was still good. We love the robots they use to deliver food. The peach cobbler was Great but the portion was too small for the price. I will give it another chance based on the first time but sad they are inconsistent.

Visited here from the North on the hunt for Southern Food that hit the right spot and THIS WAS IT! The staff here was super helpful with our large group, the server was friendly, food selection was on point and the turnaround was very quick! They had the robot servers and everything was SO GOOD AND WHOLESOME! I would easily come back here.

I meet up here with a couple of friends, that I hadn't seen in years. I really love the ambiance, clean bathrooms, and decor. I didn't like the valet only aspect though. The food was very good and our server, Trey, was the best! Would absolutely revisit, especially if I'm in the area. I live quite a distance from the restaurant. We all enjoyed our meals, fried catfish, fried chicken for me, and another friend had the meatloaf.

Valet parking needed upon arrival. Ample seating when we arrived but for larger parties, we were placed in another part of the restaurant. The atmosphere is very lively and the background music is eclectic-from jazz to r&b and hip hop. Chantel our server provided great service and we had a robotic server deliver our meal. The salmon was moist, delicious and reasonably seasoned. The greens had a tart vinegar flavor and the yams tasted extremely sweet-no dessert needed. Sampled all the desserts as well. The ice cream had a creamy, rich vanilla flavor. The peach cobbler was delicious with a delicate cinnamon flavor. The sweet potato cake, red velvet and German chocolate cake was moist and delicious. Each piece had its own distinct flavor. Overall, great food and atmosphere! This was soul food at its best!

We had a reservation for 8:30pm. They only had small tables that were open. We waited almost 10-15 minutes before our order was taken. It seemed really busy with a large gathering. The food was good. I had fried chicken, potato salad, collard greens, and Mac and cheese. My husbands order wasn't correct but it was quickly fixed. The fried chicken was PERFECT! I wouldn't recommend the potato salad. It tastes store bought.

First time going to Paschal's. It was very clean, friendly, and nice music (was a little loud), but when we asked them to turn down the volume, they did willingly. Our waitress (Malissa B.) was on point, ask for her! 😊 The first time seeing Robot service, it was very interesting. Great pictures and a lot of history posted for your viewing. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and I will be revisiting and bringing others. Thank you!

After watching season 2 of High on the Hog, I was excited to visit a restaurant with such a deep and important history. So glad I did. My food was excellent as was the staff. We went on a Friday night and didn’t have to wait for a table due to their ample seating. Oh… and the corn bread was the best I’ve had. Quick tip, bring at least $5 in cash for the valet parking.

The restaurant was packed so we sit at the bar. The staff was so friendly and professional. They went above and beyond to explain everything. Also answered my questions when it came to my food allergies. They ensured that everything was safe for me to eat. I appreciated this so much! We ordered two different drinks and they were exceptional perfect blend and mixed just right. The vibe was great music was playing at a nice volume, a down to earth chill vibe. The food the food OMG the food was so amazing! Hot and fresh! Good portions! It took me back to childhood soul food. Left full and happy. Can't wait to go back. *Kid/family Friendly *Has private party area for small birthday dinner *Reasonable valet

Visited with family to celebrate a birthday. While waiting for a few more people to arrive the manager informed us that anyone arriving after 9pm would not be allowed in the restaurant because the restaurant closes at that time. He also informed us that we could Not order for them. (I guess they don't do to-go orders🤷🏽‍♀️) I thought this was strange. Our additional people made it right at nine but they were only able to order drinks and no food. We all took from our plates to share with them and the manager that spoke to us stood glaring at us as if we committed some major offense. Thankfully the food was yummy. I ordered shrimp with sides of collard greens, mashed potatoes and peach cobbler for dessert. The shrimp was a little over cooked but the flavor of the batter was a phenomenally complimentary. The mashed potatoes were good and so was the gravy. The collard greens were cooked just right. Just needed a little hot sauce if you're like me and like a little heat in your greens. And since we were sharing I got to try the fried catfish, salmon, Mac and cheese and potato salad. I enjoyed it all except the potato salad. It had entirely too much mayonnaise for my taste. The catfish was really good and well seasoned. Our wait staff was very kind, considerate and great with the kids. They had these really cool robots assisting them that bring the food orders out to your table. The atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty dark with dim lighting at night. The tables are well spaced. Though the food was great and the waiting staff was excellent I don't think I want to come back after this experience. The manager wasn't very accommodating.

If you’re looking for good Southern food with a good slice of Atlanta history and Civil Rights history attached, then Paschal’s is your place. The food has always been good. This time I had the fried chicken wings with the collard greens and yams. Everything was delicious. They also have this robot that carries the food to the tables. It was so interesting to see it in action. I also always love looking at the photos that they have on the wall. These photos include figures like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Rev. Joseph Lowery, and more.

Valet only, there was a $5 prepay requirement. The establishment doesn’t accept cash payments for food/drinks. I had fried shrimp , yams, and greens. The food was good, I wish the shrimp had more of a softer flaky crust instead of crunchy crust that would break off with each bite. On the menu there were no descriptions for the cocktails so the waitress had to tell me verbally what was in each drink. Easy fix if they just add it to the menu. I tried the peach cobbler for dessert. It was ok. Brussel sprouts were really good. I would return and try this place again.

I really enjoyed my experience here with the exception of the long wait for our food. Our server seemed a little unorganized, so I'm not sure if our food was ready earlier and she didn't check it or if it just took a long time. She was really nice though. We enjoyed the music entertainment. The robot serving the food was pretty cool even though we didn't experience that. Our party was probably too large for that. The food, well most of the food, was delicious!! Our fried chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. My son ordered potato salad and it was not the best. It was pretty white and could have used more flavor. I enjoyed the rice, gravy, black eyed peas, yams, macaroni and cheese. The drinks were pretty pricey. Soft drinks and Tea were $5 and lemonade was $6. I'm pretty cheap when it comes to drinks, so that price may be okay for others. My children don't care and I make them pay for that. The food was so good, one of my teenage sons wanted to go back the next day. He's off in college in Atlanta, so he can visit on his own. The ambience was really nice as well as the decor. We enjoyed the photos on the wall. We will visit again and pray that the wait will not be as long as it was. We were hungry!! The wait was worth it though.

I learned of Paschal's history in High in the Hog on Netflix and couldn't wait to visit while in Atlanta. There were so many things I wanted to try on the menu but I just had to get the fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese and saweeeet tea. Everything was delicious! I wish I remembered our server's name but he was great. The atmosphere was really nice. Even the valet made sure we were taken care of. The 🤖 delivering the food was a cute touch too. I will definitely go back when I visit the A again!

We had a large party from Philly(13) that came towards the end of the night. We were still seated and treated to the best dining experience! Everything we ordered was amazing! Our hostess was top notch and the cook came out at the end of the evening to make sure everything was good. I'll definitely return when we come back to Atlanta.

I drank the collard green juice…. When I tell you it was Good , It was Goood!!! Just like eating at my granny house back in the day! I’ve had paschal at the airport and now outside of the sand it’s official!!!! This was the BEST Mac and cheese, greens, corn, sweet potatoes and chicken Ever!!! Every time I eat here it’s the same results, Thanks for being consistent no matter how many years go by, how any times the cooks have changed, the flavors are consistent and on point!

This is a historic site. For that reason alone, you should visit. I wasn't very impressed with the food. The chicken was good. It reminded me of a picnic. The collard greens were not well seasoned. My brother said his black eyed peas tasted as if they came out of a can. The mac & cheese was slightly over cooked. The service was good.

  • 4/5 Marshay E. 2 years ago on Google
Got the chicken, it was ok but my cousins got the salmon and I got jealous it was sooo good. Atmosphere doesn't match the decor nor does the patrons and their dress code.

  • 4/5 Vanessa 2 years ago on Google
Their peach cobbler is the truth. The mac is really good, too, which has been hard to find in Atl. I wouldn't agree that they have the best fried chicken but it was good. I didn't care for the yams or cornbread muffin. They need to update their website because many pics show cornbread, not cornbread muffins. The Vodoo Shrimp is a must have, but overpriced at $12 for 4 pieces of shrimp. The sauce went well with the shrimp. Though, I don't know why the menu states the shrimp comes with Asian slaw because my container had dried letttuce. We often come here when visiting Atl and the employees are usually rude. But today, the customer service was one point. They need to improve parking. Some of the kitchen staff weren't wearing masks while Atl is currently on Stage Yellow.

It was unexpected. I went thinking it was going to be average but I was quite surprised. Great fried chicken and macaroni and cheese. The green beans were all that. The atmosphere was calm.

Food was amazing…We had the fried green tomatoes for appetizer and boy were they delicious…I had a fried shrimp dinner, my husband had fried chicken dinner; my daughter had fried fish dinner and step daughter had pulled pork; all plates were amazing! And the sweet potato cake was delicious recommend by our Waiter Terrance who was phenomenal very much on top of his job! I’ll give his service a 5star and the atmosphere was very clean the hostess sat us in less than 5 minutes! Overall the Whole vibe was worth us visiting will visit again when we are in Atlanta! #LouisianaMade

Visited this restaurant by the recommendation of my mother-in-law, and let me tell you it did not disappoint! we were seated promptly and the service was great. Drink took a little longer to come out, but they were good and strong. (We has some type of peach Hennessey drink) The food was delicious and seasoned well. Dessert was everything. Highly recommend!

This spot was recommended to us by a local person as we were traveling from Canada. We had a late lunch here. Food, atmosphere and service was wonderful. Mac and cheese was probably the best I’ve had in my life. Yams were way too sweet to even eat, would not recommend. The sweetwater 420 is a pale ale and the server had absolutely no knowledge about it, it would probably be best to be aware of what your establishment offers. But she checked in with us frequently and other servers around us were personable and full of energy!

Went to Paschal’s for lunch after a great visit to the Georgia Aquarium. The place itself is very cool, a bunch of black history of the City of Atlanta, a city to busy to hate. The food, outstanding, served hot and fresh by a very attentive server. The parking was $5 but worth the money to not have to find a place on the street and easy to get in and out of. Fried chicken was some of the best, Mac and cheese very good also. Had the gumbo as an appetizer and the taste was great except the temperature was a little cool. If you have never been there it is a must try in Atlanta. I would recommend this restaurant to both locals and tourist.

Some of the staff seemed like they either didn't want to be there or help us. The restaurant wasnt freezing cold which I thought was great. The candied yams and potato salad was especially good. The corn muffins were kind of dry.

I dined alone, and they had a little bit of a hard time seating me. I eventually was able to sit and eat at the bar. The bartender was great and explained some of the signature cocktails. I had the whiskey sour derived cocktail. It was very good. The shrimp and grits were a really good portion and it came with cornbread. I also got a side of collard greens which were the right temperature and saltiness. I would definitely go back.

The food was great. Yams were yamming. Mac n cheese was cheesy and moist. Tori, was even better. No wait. Loved seeing the robots. Only thing I’d fix is the automatic gratuity. Tori was worth more than that. I’ll visit again. Very kid friendly.

This was SO DELICIOUS! I went with a group of 10 ( courtesy of YGL Atlanta) in celebration of Juneteenth and as a first timer here, I was impressed. I was skeptical bc of the other reviews but this is place definitely didn’t disappoint. The blackened catfish was super flavorful, soft and juicy, and melted in your mouth. The collard greens and yams were cooked to perfection that I almost drank the pot liquor and yams juice that was leftover but didn’t want to look crazy lol. I started with the peach cobbler as an appetizer and glad I did bc I was full by the end. The cobbler was sweet (obviously) but delicious and not too sweet. I personally prefer a little more crust/dough but this did not disappoint and I almost ordered a second bowl. We met the GM and he was a pleasure as well. Highly recommend giving this place a try. TLDR: try this place! It’s delicious soul food/ southern cooking that seasons their food well!

A friend recommended this soul food restaurant to us and it was amazing!! The food was to die for - the voodoo shrimp is a must have, the brussels sprouts had the most incredible sauce on them, the meat was delicious and perfectly cooked, and the sides tasted just like Thanksgiving dinner at home. My absolute favorite part was the peach cobbler. It melted in my mouth and it was absolutely HEAVENLY!!
