What a great place - I loved it from the time we were stepping in. The atmosphere are decor is amazing and so modern. Also I have to say the service there is very fast and nice. We were sitting outside and also the outside area right next to the belt line is very comfy. We shared some starters which were very tasty. I especially loved the tuna tartar, so soft and full of flavour and the salmon taco - juice and well balanced seasoned. Then I had the scallops which were perfectly cooked and also the grids were so delicious. At the end we also shared a German Chocolate Cake which was a lot bit very good. Super nice place. Highly recommended going there while being in the city.

This place has been around for ages and it hasn’t changed much, good. They’ve always had great ambience and good food. Expect to pay $40-60 per person but worth it. They often have live jazz or ambient bands playing . It’s the perfect date night spot but don’t bring a large group. Everyone I know that brings a group gets a bad experience. Keep it intimate . We got the salmon chips (yum, served cold but good), Burrata cannot be missed ( they add a delicious jam to the cheese). We also got the salmon and scallops for dinner and they were perfect.

Great restaurants for group dinners. Loud and cheerful vibes, there’s live music which is always fun. Reservations are encouraged as it was packed. The menu is diverse with a lot of seafood and meat. I recommend ordering family style, portions are huge. For appetizers order the crispy duck leg, comes over a sweet pancake, the spicy mussels and the salmon chips. Our favorite entree was the brisket but portion was too much, probably could have shared between 3 people. For dessert go for the peach bread budding. Prices are high.

Great atmosphere inside - interior design on point. However from outside - especially where valet is, the entrance looks like an abandoned warehouse… Food was good. But definitely not the best shrimp and grits flavor. Salmon chips were really good though. I like that you can pay through QR code of the table - but why can’t I order the same way?

I got the Hanger Steak medium well, along with asparagus and potatoes, and it was very, very GOOD…. The salmon appetizer was also very good too. And, the staff was professional and courteous. I definitely will be back to experience this again!

It was okay. The ambience is very nice, the outdoor seating area is nice, but once our food came we were bombarded with flies. The food was average to me. I ordered salmon chips and the salmon was cold and unseasoned(they serve it cold on purpose). All the food we ordered seemed overpriced and just not that good. I enjoyed the bread from the shrimp entree and the macaroni and cheese, I’d recommend those.

After having a bad experience trying to celebrate my birthday at another restaurant I decided to come to my go to place where I know they'll get it right and God knows I wasn't wrong. Our waitress Morgan took good care of us and made sure it was a great sit down experience. The atmosphere is always relaxing and chill, the food was amazing, and the service phenomenal. I will always recommend this place.

Another fantastic experience! Entertained a large group in the front private dining area. As always, exquisite service starting with valet parking, continuing with the host, and moving right on through the wait staff. Enjoyed our menu selection. In particular, ordered the salmon which was served perfectly! Really like the unique but limited wine menu, which presents wonderful selections from a distributed geography. This restaurant concept will continue to outlast new concepts that come and go. Always worth a visit!

Nice restaurant in the old forth ward! The sides were excellent with some of the meals having a wonderful Lebanese influence! The Salmon was great and brisket was one of the largest ones I have seen! They gave some festive drinks you can get at bar waiting to be served in glowing cubes hanging from ceiling. I was also impress with their wood fire rotisserie setup! So many moving gears! Parking is a bit tricky and it might be difficult to notice the front door from the parking lot.

Had dinner here. If you come before the dinner rush, you can be seated easily. If ur coming later in the evening, make a reservation. The service was good. The atmosphere is really what sells this place, the interior design and its location on the belt line. I like the vibe. With that being said, i thought the food was average. It was a little bland for my take. For example short rib had great texture, very tender, but no flavor. Salmon chips have a great presentation but again, no flavor. The chips were really good. I would have preferred the chip with dip that they spread on it minus the salmon. With that being said, I would dine there again and try something else.

We made reservations for brunch and we were immediately seated when we arrived. It was raining outside so the covered valet entrance was a plus. The bartenders were very helpful. I recommend you try the Up In Smoke cocktail if you like bourbon. We ate some Nashville hot oysters that were delicious. The dish came with pickles that were flavorful and paired well with the fried oysters. A musician name Jasmine Janai was playing the guitar and singing, which enhanced the experience even more. The ambience was relaxed, elegant and charming. We will definitely be back again.

A couple of weeks ago, I took my homegirl from NYC here and we had a blast! We didn’t realize that we made the reservation on Easter, so there was a lag in service but they were extremely good about checking on us. The food was amazing! We started with their famous Salmon Chips, a filling and flavorful appetizer that everyone in the in the restaurant was ordering. My bestfriend and I split her fried chicken biscuit that was so good, she went back to NYC to make her own! I got the shrimp and grits which were *chef’s kiss* booming with flavor, nice meat to grits ratio. The drinks were cute and I was able to play around with a few and they were fruity and tasty. I will definitely be coming back, hopefully I will try dinner but Brunch was too good.

Went here as a surprise to celebrate my birthday and I had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere, the service, the food... all amazing. Our waiter was Carlos and he was extremely attentive and helped to aid in the embetterment of the night. I had the salmon chips and rotisserie chicken with mac and cheese... 10/10 would recommend. The food was delicious!! I had a wonderful time and I will likely be back.

This was my first time to 2 Urban Licks. I enjoyed it! Three criticisms, and it isn't a real criticism because there was a reason......was that it took a long time to get our food!! We were a party of 16, but I noted the large parties around us were getting their drinks and appetizers, although they were seated after us, before us but that could have been the difference between an experienced server and a new one. And they were out of a lot of the alcohol choices done of the folks in our party wanted. Weird since it seems that the bar is one of the main attractions. But the drinks we did have were good. The valet parking was a little challenging too. Half of our party was unable to valet park because it was full. Parking can be challenging so be patient. With those things aside, I enjoyed the atmosphere (friendly and hip) and the decor (which is aesthetically pleasing to the eye). There were water tables, neon lights and greenery. A large bar. Rugged tables. I loved the decor!!!! And once we received the food, it was delicious. I enjoyed the salmon chips as my appetizer and scallops as my entree. My husband enjoyed the fried oysters and the steak for the meal. Tasty and hot! **Note: parties over 8, one check and automatic gratuity, so keep that in mind if you want to have a large party.

Always enjoy ourselves here. They struggled on the temp of the filet multiple times tonight but gave a steep discount to make up for it, so they still got 4 stars from us. Salmon chips are always amazing, and I tried the burger and "crack 'n cheese" this time. Both were great. Will definitely continue to dine here!

Talk about an experience that excites your taste buds, TWO did just that! I went in June and loved mu dining experience. We had the truffle deviled eggs and pork belly starters. I loved the pork belly so much, we ordered a second serving. The pineapple and guac paired with it was tasty. For the entrees, we had the Salmon over spinach rice, the pork loin, and rotisserie chicken! All such flavorful and generous portion sizes! The chef(s) there are definitely skilled 🙌🏾

3 stars only for service and ambience. Food was blah, and definitely OVER priced. I asked for moist brisket, and it came as dry as it could possibly be. Rest of our food was also just okay, and not worth the money. $12, for an Irish coffee.. HA. Ambience was nice and the staff were super friendly and nice. Going to try something else next time I'm in ATL

I was in Atlanta for work, and remembered this place from about 15 years ago for my first time. The food was still amazing! I sat at the chefs seating and watched all the magic happen while I enjoyed my meal. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and welcoming...full of laughs. The host was a funny gentleman, treated me like family. They had live music with just he right volume level, so you could still hear everything going on around you. I was alone, but it didn't feel like it. Drinks were tasty and well crafted. I will be back the next time I'm in town.

The atmosphere and overall ambiance of the place were delightful. Unfortunately, our dining experience was marred by lukewarm food. The appetizers arrived promptly, but disappointingly, they were not served hot. Specifically, the calamari we ordered was rubbery and barely warm. As for my main course, I opted for the crispy duck, but it was overcooked and had to be returned to the kitchen. In its place, I decided to try the scallops, but to my dismay, one of them had an unpleasant ammonia-like taste. Regrettably, based on this experience, it is unlikely that we will choose to dine here again.

Went here for a first date with my now fiance. We love coming back for special events such as anniversaries, Valentine's, etc. The food is delicious, the vibe is good, and the outdoor seating, even in the winter, is fabulous. Pretty sure we were warmer outside on a cold night than inside, thanks to all of their heaters (fire pits are also a fun plus!). Great location just off the beltline with valet parking.

OK. I have heard about this place for far too long so I’m glad I finally made time to go check it out this past Saturday. I had a amazing waiter… I hate that I forgot his name. The valet service was smooth running and efficient. If you forget your mask they have some available for you. I decided to dine outside because the weather was perfect and the sun wasn’t showing out. Oh! I heard amazing things about the salmon chips but I forgot to order them! I ordered the fried catfish and grits (it was served with papaya salad - I had that put on the side). Everything was so good - I cleaned my plate!

I actually liked the dark ambiance, the staff were all so friendly as well as the environment. Food came out super fast and was reasonably priced. They have a nice outdoor courtyard seating with lovely aesthetics that is if you come with a group I’m sure you’ll have to RSVP in advance I could be wrong though. The live music was the icing on the cake for me. Enjoyed my first experience and will most definitely be coming back!

The atmosphere and service were great! You have to valet there is parking but you’d most likely get booted. All of the employees were warm gracious and welcoming. The atmosphere is beautiful great for taking pictures but it’s definitely dark in there at night they have mood lighting so it’s very dim everywhere in the restaurant except near the plant wall which is well lit. The food was good we had a lot of different items. The mac and cheese was the best side it had an alfredo sauce flavor and consistency. We got the fingerling potatoes as well they were ok they could’ve use some seasoning of some sort they literally just tasted like cooked potatoes. The roasted chicken had a great flavor the breast was a little dry but I still really enjoyed it. The shrimp was delicious and juicy the sauce that comes on the shrimp was perfect for it. I also got a caesar salad with salmon added it was good as well the ceasar is slightly spicy not too much spice. The prices were a bit high they add a service charge onto the meal. There weren’t very many vegan or vegetarian options but you can make it work if you’re in a pinch. They do not split the check for you but they do have a QR code you can scan for the menu and to pay for your meal separately if needed. Overall we really enjoyed the experience and would go back for sure.

I finally got a chance to check it out for a late birthday dinner. There were so many good appetizers on the menu to choose from. Most people raved about the salmon chips, but we thought they were just ok. We didn't expect the salmon to be chilled. We enjoyed the calamari. It was tossed in a nice sweet and spicy sauce. The cauliflower was flavorful. I wish it had more crunch. Finally, we got the brisket empanada. It was cut in half and drizzled in an orange sauce, cheese and diced tomatoes. We also ordered the greens and mac n cheese. We spent $89 for the 4 apps and 2 sides. The service was great. They brought out a small, chocolate birthday cake after our meal. I will return and try more goodies on the menu.

The atmosphere is so beautiful and unique. We really enjoyed our time at this place. We arrived an hour early for our reservation, so we had drinks and an appetizer at the bar while we waited for our reservation. Madison was our waitress and she also happened to be the bartender. The live music here is pure soul. I sang along to all of the soulful hits, The Isleys, Bill Withers, Bobby Caldwell, Sam Cooke… it was amazing! We recommend the salmon chips, and crab cake. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly. The brisket is so flavorful and tender. I ordered the scallops and I was so full. All of our dining experience was great! Madison provided us with great service. Again, the atmosphere is awesome. We are from the NYC area and the vibe at Two Urban Licks and it reminded us of our dining experiences in NYC.

This experience was phenomenal. Started with the salt and pepper Calamari. Omg the calamari was savory. The hint of cilantro and peppers. Ended the meal with the fried chicken biscuit and my partner had the steak and eggs. The fried chicken biscuit came with a sausage gravy. That dang biscuit melted in my mouth. Great combination. The ambiance is beautiful. We chose the valet parking which is $3. There is a sign for self parking. Johnathan was friendly and very helpful.

Everything was delicious! We had a large party, our service was excellent. We had two with special dietary needs that were easily met with a smile. Salmon chips, fried cauliflower, calamari, sea bass, beef ribs, scallops, crab cakes, crispy duck all were amazing!

  • 4/5 Kierra B. 5 months ago on Google
Overall a good experience the location is nice. Some of the food was great and some was okay. The calamari was tough probably over cooked, chewy. The server was scattered so had to flag them down multiple times to order. The scallops were great! 10/10 I would also highly recommend the KF cauliflower.

Very cool spot in the city upscale urban industrial vibe set around an amazing kitchen with a smoker and labor of love smoked meat this place was recommended by a friend who lives locally …amazing had the pork belly and salmon chips apps and then the smoked chicken and 14 hr smoked brisket the chicken literally fell off the bone and the brisket was like it came out of a crock pot the service was very efficient and friendly glasses never got empty and the wine was flowing. Very cool spot with industrial flare dishes and good taste and pricing was reasonable.

The atmosphere is very laid back from the moment you walk into the cathedral high doors to the bar being centrally located in the restaurant. You may enjoy the open environment, but it may not be the best situation for a conversation, especially if you are on a date. I heard the entire conversation that the couple next to us was having, which was comical at times as I am not sure I would go that route if I wanted to impress my female companion. Okie dokie...enough of the atmosphere and let's get down to the food. The food was fresh, innovative, and brought out relatively quickly. Our waitress was exceptional as she answered every question we had and gave us reasonable recommendations as this was our first time here. We tried a great representation of their current menu, and the taste, seasoning, and presentation were outstanding. The time flew as we enjoyed the food and our own conversation as the night went on and the ambient noise came down a bit as we were not as close to the bar where a lot of the conversations were coming from. At the end, they even brought out a birthday dessert, which was also very tasty. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for great food and an excellent downtown environment with high end expectations.

It was one of my co-worker/ friend's birthday dinner after work and it was a fun night!! Our server was very nice and friendly. The service was relatively slow but it was a busy night. I will say though, at a table of 5 individuals, one of my friends food came out 30 minutes after everyone else's. The server continued to apologize, he stated the meal was prepared incorrectly and had to be started over. After the food was finally prepared, the chef came out and apologized to my table and friends very wholeheartedly for the delay and asked it would be okay to celebrate my friend with a few of their deserts. Even without the free deserts, just the humility of the chef to come out and smooth the situation was just so unheard of and I was thoroughly impressed!! THIS WARRANTS A FIVE STAR. For my course, we started with the Salmon Chips (DELECTABLE). For my entree, I believe I had Tuna Tartare (I think....) with the Convite Mezcal Esencial Espandin liquor on the rocks (I took a picture of this bottle! SOME GOOD STUFF). For Dessert we were given the Chocolate Tres Leches and the Flan I think... (YUMMY YUMMY regardless. The place was packed but it wasn't terribly loud. The greenery room was perfect for after Meal photos. Id love to come back another day!

I remember when Two Urban Licks opened up. I was a sophomore in college. It did not disappoint then and over a decade later it still delivers that same energy. Every time I visit Atlanta, I go at least once. I started off with the signature salmon chips. This visit in particular I ordered the sword fish (my first time ordering it from here) a side of Mac and I had a gin-lime-cucumber cocktail that tasted amazing. I've never had bad customer service, however please book a reservation bc those walk-in dinners be waiting almost an hour just to get seated. We had a reservation and still had to wait like 15 - 20 min which was kind of irritating ('cause what's the point of having a reservation if my table isn't ready when I get there on time) and the reason I did not give 5 stars.

We went on a Friday night so it was packed but the service was very good. Our waiter was attentive and informative. The turkey wings are a must have!! The scallops had a tomato base that was a bit overpowering, but the Gouda grits were delicious. Make a reservation before you go…and approach the valet because otherwise you’ll wait all night. The food, service, and atmosphere were on point. OMG- the salmon chips were Excellent!!! The calamari was a bit sweet for my taste, but tender and tasty. My main entree was the seared diver scallops with polenta and sautéed Tuscan kale. The scallops were cooked to perfection. The polenta was smooth & creamy, and the veggies were flavorful. I would order this dish again. The coffee tasted like 2 day old coffee brewed in a dirty coffee pot. The coffee pot needs to be trashed - immediately.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Two Urban Licks, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I meet my colleagues here and had a work meeting, my only issue was that they didn’t provide any straws. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, with a tasteful and modern decor that created a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu was a delightful fusion of flavors and culinary craftsmanship. Everything tasted as if it was prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Great presentation and every bite was a burst of flavor. The combination of exceptional food, inviting ambiance, and impeccable service creates an excellent dining experience. I highly recommend visiting Two Urban Licks, just remember to BYOS (Bring Your Own Straws) Lol!

Amazing decor and great food Salmon chips is must try from the appetizer menu. they do 30k of orders minimum per year. It’s one of popular is recommended for the one who love salmon. We tried Kentucky fried cauliflower as well but they were squelchy and quantity was a lot so we were full with two appetizers 😬😬 Will visit again and recommend anyone to give a visit you will love this place 😍

You had me at Nashville hot fried oysters. Food was delicious, loved the atmosphere, great service. Went for a birthday and had a great time. All of our plates were good but after sharing our entrees the clear winner for our group was the brisket. The steak was perfectly cooked and the mushrooms are tasty also. The salmon with cous cous was my second favorite, very flavorful.

We were going to see Hamilton, so we went to this restaurant before. It went beyond and exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing, and the staff and people there were exceptional. I would reccomend going there when going to any special event in Atlanta.

I give this restaurant 5 stars across the board. Since I was there with a group, I had the opportunity to try each of the prearranged appetizers which included Smoked Salmon Chips, Brisket Empanadas and Kentucky Fried Cauliflower. My main dish was the grilled Salmon with Cous Cous, Bok Choy and Baby Carrots. The meal was cooked to perfection! No room for dessert...

It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I still can remember how good my steak was 🤤. I have no complaints whatsoever on the food. The service was good. The waitress connected with us and even took pictures for us. The drinks were ok. They don’t serve Hennessy 🤦🏽‍♀️ but I guess for a place like this, that’s to be expected. I was slightly embarrassed for asking for a Hennessy lemonade 😂 I did order a whiskey sour from the bar so that almost made up for it. The live music was pretty good. It was slightly cold in there but I did have a fitted dress on so maybe it was just us. My friend was cold too. It was her birthday. Would definitely go again.

Beautiful place for indoor and outdoor dining. Great patio space, quality craft cocktails, and the salmon chips were worth a second round. We mostly had small plates and drinks, but everything was flavorful and the service was solid.
