Modern exterior with an old world interior gave Uncle Julio's an irresistible charm. The chips and dip were not the usual Mexican restaurant variety. They had a bean base that my wife loved. The chicken fajitas were out of this world good. The chicken salad that my wife had was made with the same grilled chicken as the fajitas. The chicken had a little char taste that was amazing. We would definitely go back here if we are in the area again.

The food is good. The make at your table Guacamole was so tasty they can even add jalapenos to make it spicey. The restaurant definitely date worthy, lights are dimmed and it's a very nice atmosphere. I gave it three star because the server hated her job or was having a bad day. We would interact with her and she wouldn't smile or interact back. The food arrived, but it wasn't what I ordered so while my husband ate I had to wait 15 minutes for the correction to be made.. once I got the food the mixed fajita was good and tastes just perfect. The manager as we were leaving saw us and walked out the other door Instead of greeting us out like normal managers do. Also, I guess he got the no smile syndrome from the waiter. The young lady who brought us our food was wonderful and smiled a lot and when we noticed something in our food was wrong we apologized for asking her to change it and she looked us smiled and said no worries no need to apologize we want you to enjoy your food. I wish she was our waiter it would've given us a better experience. I definitely would go back to see if the atmosphere changes because the food was good. So food definitely worth a try, customer service definitely needs some spark.

This place was great. Perfect for lunch. I was super impressed with the service. I got a sprite and it was always filled and I went through like 3 or 4 cups. The first time I was 3/4 done and bam he was there with a refill. The most surprising but best time I had just finished the last sip of my drink and just as I put it down and looked away to look for the server he had already replaced it with a full cup. Just excellent. Maybe your service will live up to this amazing dream. I honestly feel like I cheated this man on the tip. He deserved more than the 18% I gave him The grilled fish tacos I got were pretty good. Tons of veggies with it so kinda like and dislike but it worked. Normally I don't enjoy the beans and rice that comes with these meals but the beans were excellent and very flavorful and the rice was excellent. TL:DR; Great Service, good food, decent lunch prices, worth the visit. will return

Great food and drinks, great atmosphere, great service. Really fun place to come after work for dinner. I got a Patrón classic margarita that they upgraded to Don Julio for only $1 more, and it was sooo yummy. The chicken & steak fajitas are also really good. The server asked how I wanted my steak, and they cooked it perfectly medium. I saw a table tent for a chocolate piñata that looked pretty fun. Can’t wait to try it one day. Glad to check this place out for the first time!

The food I ordered last night was not great. I had the sampler, which consisted of two enchiladas and a tamale. Everything was dry though the flavor was good. I will say the beans and complimentary salsa were outstanding. I’m giving a two stars because of the dark setting next to a tortilla machine which made an extremely warm environment. The server suggested a fajita dish ($28.00) for which I had no appetite. I’m visiting nearby so I may try it again. Though not this week.

FOOD IS AMAZING! if you coming to Uncle Julio's the best dish is the homemade guacamole & the fajitas. I ordered the chicken fajitas (on the pic below) it has a great taste. The chips are fresh and very crunchy. Service was great! Restaurant was clean. Totally Recommended.

So good. The Guadalajara was amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection and the chicken was moist. The bacon wrapped shrimp (not pictured) was delicious. The server sucked but the food makes up for it. Plus the manager was super nice. Will return!

If you go to Atlanta, GA, check out Uncle Julio's. Marvin and Craig served up hot, fresh delicious food with a cool Margarita to wash it down, in a scenic atmosphere loaded with vibrant ambiance! I liked it, and I'll go back for more!

This location is a popular and convenient meeting spot for me and my friends. There always seems to be an issue with service and food preparation. Our service and food were....ok. The table side guacamole, like our taco salads, lacked flavor and was quite a disappointment. We won’t be dining here anytime soon.

Nice atmosphere, 2 story indoor sitting area, plus a patio. Good customer service overall but not spectacular. My drink was not good (i had a margarita) which was very disappointing for a Mexican restaurant and for the price. The food wasn't delicious either and it's overpriced. I probably won't be back. Overall, three stars.

My family and I visited the Sandy Springs location and the service and wait time was awful. I don't know if the waiter was a new hire but he was very slow. It was 10 of us, so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it. He kept forgetting items. We waited over an hour (after placing our orders) for our food. I ordered the chicken nachos but when I got my food, it was not what I expected. We didn't have time to really eat. Took a couple of bites and had to take the rest to go since we had another engagement. We felt 2 hours was enough time here but it wasn't.
