I purchased some tickets off group on. The line was long and we waited approximately 25-30 minutes before we were able to board the ferris wheel. Once we made it to the actual ticket line the process was quick and easy. We went on a weekend night and I suggest you wear comfortable shoes because I’m sure there will be a wait. Also the restroom is located behind the building in porter potties. The restroom was clean and you need a code to enter the restroom. There was an employee standing near and was able to help me pretty easily. The views were beautiful at night. The ride was cute it didn’t last long however it was something cute and fun for a couple to do. They had photographers there to take pictures as a Souvenir to remember the moment. We purchased the pictures I believe a package for $30 if I’m not mistaken. I thought the value was pretty good overall. I would not do it again I feel that the one time experience was enough for me.

Highly recommend to purchase tickets in advance fron groupon or other websites. You can save dollars 💵 instead of buying tickets in person. Paid $47 for 4 adults which is a banger!!! Beautiful wheel and must visit during night time with all the fancy lights. The staffs are friendly and smiling 😊. Must visit if you are in Atlanta!

It's something to do. We had time to kill and wanted to get out of the rain. Very close to the park and other attractions. I remember food being nearby ( i don't remember what). It was a good view of the city with a decent price point. The ride is relatively short... a good way to see some of the area.

I really enjoyed riding on the SkyView Ferris Wheel in Atlanta, Georgia. All 5 of my guests enjoyed themselves as well. It is a beautiful sight to see, especially at night. Thank you, SkyView! I definitely will be coming back for another ride, soon. Happy Birthday to Me! 🥳😍🤯

SkyView Atlanta ferris wheel was an Amazing experience for us! We enjoyed the view, it's high enough to see the beauty of the City. It's located in the Downtown Atlanta the heart of the city and surrounded by all the fabulous Buildings and the Beautiful Centennial Park. The view is spectacular, the cabins had air condition also clean inside, safe and comfortable. we enjoyed our time definitely recommended!

It's okay. We had a good ride but we paid $15 each for only five minutes or so on the wheel. We did like that each cabin had it's only tempeture controls. Also the people in our cabin before us were not wearing masks so it made us uncomfortable that the cabin wasn't sanitized or "aired out" before we went in.

Celebrating my granddaughter turning 11 with family. She absolutely loved it. Actually everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. They didn't want it to end. It's very affordable, the views are wonderful both day and night. The gondolas are air conditioned, they seat 6. The ride is really smooth.

It was a nice experience, but not as exhilarating as me and my family thought it should have been. I believe the revolution speed is very high. As you reach the highest point and wish to enjoy the view from the top, you are already half the way down and lose the sight. In my opinion, instead of four revolutions, one or two revolutions with slower speed may give a better experience.

You get a panoramic view from these gondala. Would recommend buying discounted tickets from Groupon. The view from top is breathtaking. It goes very slow so anyone and everyone can enjoy the ride. Recommend during sunset to see the beauty of sky colors

Stopped by to let my girls ride. Was super fast & easy to buy tickets. There was no line on a Thursday afternoon. The staff were great. The ride lasts about 7 minutes and well worth the money. It’s a one and done attraction, but worth doing it once.

Its exactly what you would expect it to be. Price is reasonable, employees are nice. My biggest gripe is that the plexiglass is scratched and it's really tough to find clean glass to take a picture which is why most people patronize the attraction.

My fiance and I had an amazing time!! It was our first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed the V.I.P. lounge before our ride in the V.I.P gondola with glass floors and Ferrari seats! Air conditioned and super comfortable! We also got engaged that night! Right outside the ferris wheel! 😊

Enjoyed our ride New Year’s Eve. Felt like you got a decent amount of time for your turn. It was a little pricey bit a fund experience nonetheless. Walt wasn’t very long for a holiday. We were able to have our own car as I would not want to ride with others. Can fit a small group in cars.

We went on a Saturday night which was extremely busy. The views were fantastic but I will say the speed was a bit jarring. I don’t get motion sickness often and I was ready to blow in this Ferris wheel. I kind of wish it was slower or the cabins didn’t sway so much. We used a date night Groupon so we got 2 mini boxes of 8pc Russell stover chocolates & two tickets for $30 which was awesome. The views at night were amazing. The line moved quickly for the most part, I’d say we spent 10ish minutes in line. Ride was about 10 minutes give or take. I’ll probably go again if I’m ever in Atlanta.

Took my teen age daughter she’s been wanting to go for awhile……she really enjoyed it! It was my 3rd time and I still enjoyed it! Get the Groupon, but you have to pay the taxes at the gate.

The view was really good! It won’t take much of tour time so it’s a good option when you are in Atlanta. The waiting queue wasn’t really long when we visited during weekend noon time. We bought tickets in advance. The wheel goes on for like about 10-12 minutes and you can watch the surrounding views of the midtown. They don’t really fill up your cabin with anybody, that’s a good part. You can be with your people and have the privacy. It’s beautiful specially during the sunset hours. It’s all lighted up in evening.

Nice air conditioned view of the city. Long line but not a long wait to ride. It's Atlanta so a little pricey, but to cool off and have some fantastic views, it's a good trade off. Will go back to ride at night, just to see all the pretty Atlanta lights ✨

Fun ferris wheel in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Amazing views of the city and reasonably priced. We actually had a fun Groupon for 2 that gave us a box of chocolates! Right next to centennial park which was beautiful to see and there's great food all around the area. Touristy but not terrible.

Nice experience. You get 3-4 rounds on the wheel. However, the nearby buildings obstructs the view. The glass windows of the car had smudges or moisture on them, thereby making it difficult to enjoy the view or click birds eye photos. The staff is super nice. Polite and make you feel welcomed with a HUGE smile.

I was excited because since childhood, I have admired the London eye. This was my first experience. The carts are temperature regulated, so no worries about the weather. I took a night ride, though I doubt the 15 minutes on the ride were respected( I remember only 3 revolutions) I didn't understand why only 3 carts were loaded at a time, which made the wait in the line longer.

Tickets were bought online. We just showed them to staff at the entrance. Nice staff with beautiful smiles. The line moved relatively quickly. We rode the Ferris wheel at night for the first time, got a new experience. Google maps showed that SkyView Atlanta open until 10pm. We left the booth at 9:54pm, and SkyView Atlanta continued to work so as not to offend the people standing in line. It earned respect!

Awesome Ferris wheel. I'm not the ride type, but my family and I enjoyed sitting down below while the kids rode. Seems this ride lasts forever lol but for $17 that's great! Very busy area so it's a great location to people watch and see the funky little cars come down the strip! Definitely had a great time.

The ride was good. Choose to go on the ride in the night, there’s nothing much to see in the daytime. One bad experience we had was that the person who clicks and gives photos at the deck charged us double for the digital photos. I realized it very late. Beware when you swipe your card.

It was a great experience however the ride isn't long. You do take pictures before the ride and can purchase them if you want. Parking was $30.

I have been wanting to go on this for awhile. It was fun. I wish for an open air Ferris wheel but this is enclosed and a little smelly, though air conditioned. It was fun though. Nothing overly exciting. And in a weird location in my opinion, but Atlanta is like that. The wait wasn't terrible and they have a Groupon to save a little money.

Beautiful Experience. Line was much longer than expected, however, for the price and the view, it was worth it. Just an FYI: I purchased my tickets on Groupon (the 4 pack) and when I got there, they charged an additional $3.50 for their part of the fee. The wheel went a full 4/5 rotations at a super slow and easy pace which was great for picture ops. Definitely worth your time to make a visit!!

The ride was safe and comfortable. But there is only one good view. You can see the entire Olympic Park, but that's it. On the other side of the wheel are just buildings. $17 for adult ticket August 2023. You can buy a family photo at the end of the ride for about $50.

On that Saturday,13th May, 2023, at approximately 1930, there was NO wait time. It was three revolutions, and the view was beautiful (see photos). Afterwards, there was a small place to eat (their speciality was cheese-steak) on exit!

I had a great time on the ride. It went around 3 times. I love viewing the buildings from great heights. I wish they would install a light above where they have the fan like on the airplane so I can take better selfies, photos and videos for social media. Also, I would like to see and optional narrator giving historical or interesting facts about the buildings, architects or notable atlanta figures, etc. I also love the sky bar. Those photos are whack though. And the fancy car needs an upgrade. It’s not fancy enough for me.

  • 4/5 Jude F. 1 year ago on Google
Definitely something to do if visiting Atlanta.  The SkyView Atlanta ferris wheel was a fun experience for us.  We went at night so our photos didn't turn out as nice as we had hoped, but the views were spectacular.  The price was reasonable and the line flowed smoothly.  If we had more time, we would have gone again the next day.

I was taking here on a date. It was so thoughtful and cute. It was my birthday a few weeks ago. The person paid for photos and a box of chocolate for me because they asked me what kind of sweets I like. He is so cute and thoughtful it's crazy. It's the litle things. The photos said Happy birthday in the backdrop. Wasn't expecting that. The wheel goes around at least 3 times. There is a lot of hotels in the area and tall buildings. It's giving me 34th street vibes in NYC. I like that the wheel lights up at night. If you have vertigo or extremely claustrophobic, I suggest you reconsider or go when you feel comfortable. I am claustrophobic and it wasn't bad for me. It has air in there so you can adjust it to your liking because it can get real hot real quick. They have an emergency call button if you need assistance. You can see how your pictures turn out of you take them 2-4 hours after the ride. Overall a nice thing to say you did. I do wish it was in a area with better visuals to see while up in the air. But if you go with ppl you like... you can make it a whole vibe on its on.

Fun for the family or a romantic evening. My wife and I had a lot of fun. The views are Amazing. Happy with everything.

  • 4/5 Nyshae G. 1 year ago on Google
The ride was nice and you definitely can see the city. They stop you at the top for a few minutes so you have time to take pictures. The cabin had an unpleasant smell to it which is why I gave the 4 stars. The military discount ONLY applies to the service member. It is not extended to family so if you have a large family keep that in mind as it can get pricey.

  • 3/5 Miss T. 8 months ago on Google
I think it's nice for us visitors, but for almost $18 per person, they could definitely let you go around more than a couple of times. The overhead fans to keep you cool 🥵 in line and some of the lovely staff are a definite plus.

It's nice for one time visit, esp evening/ night time. The cabin is air-conditioned and they do operate even in rain. It was crowded due to holiday season however queue moved faster. They have mentioned about disinfecting the surfaces and cabin frequently however I noticed staffs were not wearing masks. :( There are street parking available but may not be easy to get a slot during peak hours however there are parking garages nearby esp one LAZ parking which is close to it.

  • 4/5 Kartik B. 3 years ago on Google
A bit pricey, it looks huge but is actually smaller. The gondolas are climate controlled, which helps when you visit in the winter like I did. Was here a little late in the evening so it wasn’t as lively but it wasn’t deserted either. Sunset hour should be best for a ride on this Ferris wheel.

Great ferris wheel beautiful at night but the view up there is not impressive as advertised. The dirtiness of the downtown city and the constructions around ruins the experience.

An awesome experience. The skyline is located right next to the Centinal park. The cabs are air-conditioned with a capacity for max 4 pacs. The ticket costs around USD 16 per person. The ride is for 7 to 10 minutes depending on the rush. They would cover around 3 to 4 rounds on an average. One can book tickets online also. The city view from the top is just mind-blowing. A must visit place while visiting Downtown Atlanta.

Great experience for anyone coming to visit Atlanta. Depending on which side you sit on you have great view of downtown Atlanta skyline. The cars are heated and cooled and you have decent rotations with decent pause times. You can get really good pictures. Doors and side windows need cleaning but big picture windows are good.

My brother was visiting from MA this weekend. One of the things we did was ride the ferris wheel at SkyView Atlanta! My brother is super afraid of heights - even to climb a ladder over 4 feet, but, to my surprise, he did this. We used a Groupon, which saved a few $, AND you get a small box of Russel Stauffer chocolates. To enter, they "wand you" like you're at the airport, then you go to the ticket line, then they take 2 pictures - editing to add grass, as if you're in this big, grassy field - which was kinda strange... at the end, you wait in line to see the printed out copies (like 6 pics!), for 38$ <-- something like that. We passed on the pics. Anyway, the ferris wheel seats 6 to 8 people (I think- well, at least 6), however, they let me and my bro go alone. Is this normal? Or Covid related? Dunno. There's buttons to press for emergency, heat, or AC --- which was really nice. My brother said that he only went, because it was enclosed. He had a death grip hold on the bench (at first), but because they do not go fast, at all, he started to loosen up after the first 2 rotations (there's 4 rotations, in total). Once we were up to the top, it was really beautiful. I would recommend and I do plan to go again when more of my peeps come visit from MA, in the spring.

You go around 3x so you're so you're riding for about 5-7 min. It was a nice little something to do but its smaller than the average ferris wheel so you're not going that high. I also didn't like that they take your pic when you come in and try to sell you 4 or 5 of the same small pictures for $35 but they won't allow you to buy just 1 picture.

We splurged for the VIP experience and we were not disappointed! Friendly staff, access to a heated waiting area and a full 30 min ride. The ride was smooth and the night view was lovely.
