This place was cool, but over priced for what you get. The kids really enjoyed the pirate playground. The 4-d movie was fun too, but not good for kids younger than 4 or so because it was extremely loud. Everything was really dirty. The floors, the tables, the play areas, were all visibly dirty, but I don't blame the employees since there were only maybe 5 staff members working. Well, at least that's what it seemed like. The girl at the front was really friendly, but over worked because she was the only one checking people in. So we were not given any directions or instruction on what to expect or do. We paid to get in at 2pm, so I assumed that only a certain amount of people were allowed in at a given time to help with social distancing and give staff time to sanitize, but instead we were told to stay as long as we liked. When we got inside it was PACKED and kids were just running wild. Too many kids for one attraction, so littler ones were getting knocked down and pushed over. So, it was a neat concept, but we won't be back.

The kids and I had a blast. It's located inside Phillips plaza - I didn't know about parking they had a parking garage attached but I didn't know if it was free so I parked in front. You have to take the escalators or elevator to the 3rd floor and there you'll find Legoland. Quick entry after scanning tickets. All the workers had smiles and were super friendly. Upon entering there's barrels of Legos and the super nice lady described that we could create on our lego - Torso, head, hair and legs (BUT......you don't get to keep it and have to return it before you leave). They had a photo stand where you could scan your ticket and take a photo with your family. They had a virtual reality room with 6 (I think) chairs. This was an additional $6 since it wasn't Included in my ticket price. It lasted less than 5 minutes I think. The kids enjoyed it though. Theres a room where they've replicated the city of Atlanta - super cool and very detailed. Then we did this ride around interactive thing. It was super fun. You got to shoot and earn points. There was a 4d movie theater - it was really nice. The chairs didn't move, but you did get to feel weather elements. Then there was a station where you could create your own spaceship and use it on a screen. There's a lego playground where the master builder helped kids create devices to play on the set up there. Lastly there's pirate Island with slides and little jungle gym for kids. They had a softer playground for the little kids too and Legos throughout. They had a party area. They had a dining area with Starbucks too. Then the catcher - the lego store as you leave. Overall, it was very family friendly and really fun. I think it was worth the price if you're able to get a discount. We stayed about 2.5 hrs.

I took my son, and he had a fantastic time playing with the legos. He built a spaceship and multiple vehicles. The indoor kids' playground and 4D Theater were also a hit. The ride they have is dated, and the laser guns won't work properly. The place definitely needs some TLC, but the kids have a great time.

My son loves LEGOLAND! Yesterday was our third time visiting. I was a bit concerned because many of the rides and activities were unavailable during our past two visits. This time however, everything was up and running. We only had to wait in line over three minutes for the 4D ride and the Minibuild class. Some of our favorite activities included the class of course, the build your own race car station, both indoor play areas, and the stability station. We loved the free building areas as well. All menu items were available as well. All staff members were friendly! I honestly have no complaints. I will be purchasing him an annual pass because that makes more sense than paying $27.99 multiple times a month. I would definitely recommend this place to all LEGO lovers, big and small!

The place is smaller than I was expecting and kinda hard to find. You have to park in a parking garage, then walk into a mall, take the escalator or elevator to the third floor, and there it is. Once in there, the people are very friendly, and the environment is very clean. It is small, but it was fun. My kids absolutely loved this place. My husband became hyperfocused on building trucks. I enjoyed seeing a safe environment for children to explore and use their imagination. There is a 'master builder' class that was fun for my smaller (<6) kids. My 7 and 9 years were bored lol, it happens. But they loved everything else. It was our first time visiting, and we will def be back. Highly recommend. The price I put is for military.

Legoland Discovery Center Atlanta. Great place of your kid likes to play with legos and get creative. Location can be confusing. Located on the 3rd floor of a commercial mall. Parking lot, road signs and the location lack clear markings and signage for directions. GPS might take you to the wrong location. The restaurant mentioned in the directions has closed and Google nor the website provide accurate driving & parking directions. Limited food options inside the discovery center. Might have to come out for food. Just remember that day tickets are single entry and you do not have the option of visiting the adjoining food court if you want to eat something other than what is available at the cafe with your single day ticket. More importantly we want all employees including some Master Lego Builders to be fair to all kids. Everyone enters the facility paying similar entry fees. The workshops should have a better system to allow kids on a first come first serve basis and not at the discretion of some people as they please. Lego store has limited selection at substantially higher prices

Super disappointing. I paid for 6 VIP experience tickets. Total waste of money. Many things didn’t work, were falling apart, decor was destroyed or damaged, ride didn’t have working guns, Lego minifigure that I paid $6 a piece for everyone to get was a simple figure skater for girls or hockey player for boys stored in a Tupperware bin with no packaging or anything. Came all the way from Alabama to celebrate my son’s birthday for the day and couldn’t even find the location. It was in the mall. Total waste of money. Will not be back.

Absolutely awesome experience for me and my kids (6 and 7) they loved every bit of it and did not want to leave, especially after making it to the playground area. Absolutely make sure to watch the Lego short movie. We went ahead and got the vr experience for a few extra dollars, which was super worth it! They kids loved it, but I enjoyed it the most lol definitely a good Saturday event for the kids. Definitely recommend.

So this was our fist time visiting, and oh my did they not disappoint. with this being their 10th Anniversary and with my son turning 10 it was the perfect place for us to celebrate. The staff was amazing! I have to give a shout out to Mandy, who went way beyond her "duties" to help us out and to give us an experience that I know we will be talking about for years to come. all of the activities for the children (and adults) to do was super fun and kept us entertained for hours! and I do mean HOURS!!!! I feel that the price for everything that we were able to do was very adequate, and like I said, we will be talking about LEGOLAND for years to come.

Took a special last minute trip to legoland and had a great time. We prepaid for tickets, and activities. There were fun small rides, and plenty of fun activities for the kids to do. For an additional 5 dollars your child can go on a Scavenger Hunt and stamp their cards. At the end of the hunt, the Child receive a small snack from the Cafe. Throughout the visit I witnessed staff cleaning and constantly wiping down areas of play. Although, when I went to the restroom it was kind of messy and needed work. Some stalls didn't have tissue or toilet seat covers. There was only one soap dispenser. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food at the Cafe was good. Highly recommend.

Not worth the price. Yes they have legos you can build, 20 minute movie clips to watch and a virtual reality that’s a very expensive add on. One thing this experience did, is bring out the kid inside all of us and made us forget about our worries. This place would be really worth it if the price was lower. We honestly thought it be bigger. The one ride it did have, had one of the laser guns not working, which lasted less than 5 minutes. They also didn’t have many areas for the picture add on they offered us. If you go, just do the basic package. Don’t waste your money. Take pictures with your phone.

Omg, I know right. Me giving three stars. Really, must be something to talk about and it is. Well, the company does not illustrate on its site for this particular location, it’s for kids under the age of 10. It is not like the locations in Florida or California. My kiddos did have surprising fun. Maybe because I am a big kid at heart. So, here is the lowdown on pros and cons. Pros: Employees are welcoming, honest, and professional Adults must be accompanied by kids (love it because it’s a lot of predators in the world). Adults must pay additional general admission to accompany children. Theater is clean (4-d movie was great). The duration of movie was close to 15 minutes. What do You think? (Questionnaire) Play area for little ones Restaurant area w/ decent selection of food Restroom areas are clean and handicap accessible Lego attractions are well put together Mini-figure w/ purchase of certain package(s) Digital kiosk picture station available Cons: Cannot get digital pictures printed in-store. Must use app. Pricing should not be of equal value compared w/ the franchise attractions in other states. Lego store has no T-shirts, hats, etc. Very sad they did not have personalized name tag for my son. His name is David. Do I have to say more. Understaff Amusement ride is short: (3.5) minutes to be exact. Only (1) ride. 🥱😲😥 Not for all age(s) Small attraction rooms

Atlanta Legoland and Friends. My son loves visiting, Legoland Discovery Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The entire staff at ,Legoland make every child feel welcome. Most of all, they let you know if you need help with anything a friendly staff member will be glad to help. My son loved the Legoland store and the 4D movie theater. He also met two, new friends while building a Lego indoor theme park for kid's to play all year long

LEGO Discovery Center was a great and fun experience for a 4 year old birthday celebration!! I really enjoyed the 15-minute 4D movie with the live side effects! The atmosphere was friendly, and the displays were amazing and so surreal. It is certainly a place to wear out an active kid! 😆

Was cute for the kids. A bit overpriced for the activities in there and half the rides weren't working. The 4d show was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The place itself needs a good cleaning, play area so dirty and filled with dustballs everywhere.

Eh. We took our grandson this past weekend. We prepurchased our tickets so we were able to get inside. But the front desk staff is not very informative. They didn't tell us where to start or what to do or what all came with our passes. (They also didn't give us the action figure we pre purchased). We were halfway through with our trip when I realized what our activity books were and the random stamps through out the center. It also would have been nice to know that there were other activities/rides that were to be purchased separately. Unfortunately they can only be purchased at the front desk and not at the actual ride. Very disappointing. The first set of activities, brick creation, was broken or otherwise inoperable. Maybe there wasn't enough "stuff" in the container for the screw arm to pick up to process. The scale that tells you how much you weigh in Lego was also inoperable. Many of the activity description labels were worn and faded so they were illegible. If you go- ask questions! I should have, but I didn't know what to expect. As an adult, I was very underwhelmed and disappointed. But our grandson likes the playground. So, there's that I guess. 🤷🏼‍♀️ There was one staff member who went above and beyond. I guess our grandson was a little too young for the bat building activity. But one of the staff members spent some one on one time helping him build the bat. Shout out to that guy for his patience!

This can keep the child active and engaged. I enjoyed the 3D movie. The rides were entered. I was disappointed that most of the Lego kits was for older children. Not much for special needs children. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The female restroom was clean.

I’m not sure if we attended the same Legoland Atlanta, but our visit was AMAZING. MY three children, ranging in ages 13-9, had a great time. We didn’t do the 4D movie, but we did do the virtual reality, which honestly, was spectacular!! My kids loved meeting the master builder they had there, and he was super kind and patient with my autistic kid asking him three hundred questions. We also didn’t eat at legoland. The gift shop prices were comparable to the store prices. And my kids love the 3d printing custom mini figure. The absolute best part of this visit was Andrea. She is an angel sent from the heavens. Her joy, and kindness were unmatched. She led everyone in the front in signing happy birthday to our ten year old. She went above and beyond making sure we got the best deal for our money. Truly a remarkable employee!!!! I don’t know what you’re paying her, but it’s not enough! The place was also very clean, and more then enough Lego everywhere to build and construct things. Would absolutely would recommend to everyone. We did only stay about an hour and half to two hours.

I’m rounding up. I would give them a 3.5 but my nephews likes it so 4 stars. Felt a bit rushed even though they closed at 7pm. Everything was starting to close at 5pm. Some of the things weren’t working as supposed to. Like, Kingdom quest for example, my nephews guns didn’t work at all. So they didn’t enjoy that very much. Also, some lights at mini city didn’t work either. My nephews enjoyed the 4D cinema but I thought it was ok. It was more like a 3D because there weren’t lot of movements. Only wind and splashing water. Food is expensive AF. A tiny personal pizza is $8.99 and took forever in line. Ultimately, not sure if we will go back.

We spent 5+ hrs here. My kids 9 and 6 loved it! Staff is very friendly and helpful, which is always a plus. It’s clean! The 4D movies are different each time and my 9yo and I watched several different ones. Plenty of tables to sit at. The ONLY thing that was lacking on the day we went was that there wasn’t any hot food, just snacks, but there were plenty of snacks for the kids to choose from. It would have been nice to get a burger. I was hungry and I was expecting to eat “real food” instead of snacks. We were there for 5/6 hrs. Overall, we all had a great afternoon, building, being creative, having fun and eating snacks!

New membership.....Great family fun. Although more crowded on a weekend than my first visit on a weekend day, all rides/station were staffed. My lack of 5 stars is due to their insistence that 3yr olds wear a mask. This should be followed by, if possible. Most other similar indoor establishments start at a higher age and include if possible. I completely understand and agree with being considerate and properly wearing a mask. But common sense should be utilized. United Airlines removed a family and permanently banned a family from flying due to their 2yr daughter inability to wear a mask. Their luggage and car seat remained on the plane. Where is the common sense? The family flew all summer and no one removed them from the plane. No consistency, let's be consistent and/or a little flexible. As stated, on our first visit, their was no stressing that my 3yr old son wear his mask. At the most, he can wear it 30min-60min. Again, all I ask, is to add....if possible and/or increase the age. Thank you.

It's definitely not worth how much they charge. It's a museum pretty much. I paid 200 for 3 kids and an adult to build Legos and play In a jungle gym. The VR experience is old and way out of date. I wish I would have spent my money elsewhere.

Kids had a blast, but it adds up fast. VR rides cost, making your own custom mini lego minifigure $13 a pop. But if you don't go often, it is worth it. It was our first time so we did all the activities. Huge plus, it's indoors. So between the summer heat and pop-up thunderstorms, that is a huge plus.

This place is over priced and over rated for what you get! The extra $7 you add for a Lego mini build, is what they choose for you. They also only give a bag of small legos only 2 choices. These bags are $3.98 at Walmart. The VR is only like 5 min ride. Then they only have 1 room of legos to enjoy and it’s so dark you can barely see the detail of them. The play area was okay but it’s for smaller kids like 7 and under. We spent $400 for all 7 of us to go and we were over it in like 2 hours, it’s most definitely not worth your time. It’s also hidden inside the mall on the 3rd story, so we like to have never found it.

I brought my brother who has autism - and he literally had the time of his life. There’s very few places that are as accommodating to special needs kids. The staff also made the experience even better for him. They danced and cheered with him every time he got excited. So grateful for this special memory I now get to share with my brother.

This experience would be a lot better if you could enter and exit. You are held captive as if it’s the size of Six Flags. It’s not a large enough amusement park to want to stay in for more than 1 hour. I would say it’s worth it if you could enter for a bit, shop/go to a movie, then re-enter.

Small but fun place for the kids to run around and play. So many activities and the 4D movie was the best part! Google and Apple Maps took me all over the place!!! Park at the parking lot where the AMC theater is and walk into the mall and go all the way up to the 3rd floor and you’ll find it. Staff was nice and they sell food inside as well!

This place is meant for younger kids. The most fun will be had by those 10 and under. If you’re an adult Lego fan like me, you can absolutely enjoy yourself just looking around, but you have to bring a child with you. May seem weird to some, but trust me, this place is not for older folks. We stayed the entire day with the most expensive passes, and I felt like it was worth it. The kids had a blast and slept the entire way home (8 year old daughter and 6 year old son).

Wasted money. Took out daughter today for her 9th birthday. Lady at the front spoke so fast that you couldn’t understand what she was saying. We were completely lost! She wanted to go on the Kingdom Quest ride, CLOSED! She got to ride ONE ride. Everything else was closed. No one at the cafe to give her a “treat”. No one at the cafe to even order food! When the movie started, my daughter was on the ride. We tried to go see the movie and was told we couldn’t because it had already started. We left after that. We were there less than an hour. It was not a fun experience at all. She was disappointed. Truly wish I could get a refund or at least get to go when there’s more than one ride open.

My husband and I went this past Saturday with our son for his 10th birthday. I purchased the tickets online and even included the activity pack. When we arrived the lady scanned out tickets and handed us the activity pack and notified us of a ride that was not operating(which is fine). We go inside and it is a beautiful place and very neat. Although I had no clue what to do with the activity pack which we ended up figuring out ourselves. When we got to the last section of the attraction it was really cool with a lot of activities but the workers were hard to find and when you did find them they seemed to look miserable and as if they could care less to assist you. I waited at the concession area to grab a drink and stood there for ten minutes and when I finally did get assistance the girl was quiet and had an unenthusiastic expression on her face. I believe it could have been a great experience but the lack of energy from workers made the experience not worth the money, drive, or experience.

It was okay. The kids seem to have fun however, for the value- this place isn't worth it. Also, we purchased tickets to the VR experience prior to our arrival and the line was so long we left without doing this. Not like... kind of long and you be prepared to wait like.... EXTREMELY long and I watched one lady stand in line for over an hour and maybe move 5 places. They either need to expand the experience or limit tickets so everyone that purchases can actually enjoy it.

My daughter loved this place. She did not want to leave and especially liked the under 5 section. The staff is amazing, polite, and great with kids. Besides one staff member in the store, everyone was awesome. The master builders taught our daughter to build a car and then she used it on the tracks. Will definitely return and recommend to anyone. Of note, tickets for adults can be expensive.

My kids thoroughly enjoyed this place. Even my son who isn't really a Lego fanatic. After entering there is an area to make a Lego figure which wasn't bad while we were there because it wasn't too crowded. There are only a few options as far as available parts but it's still a free mini figure. The ride was pretty fun. The car fits 5 people which was perfect for our family of 5. My kids enjoyed the VR experience. Speaking with the master builder gave us ideas for our creative builds at home. We didn't get any food but the prices seemed pretty much what you would pay at any park. The build areas and the playground were a hit. We had hard time getting the kids to leave. The price is a bit high for what you get though.

With Covid-19, it's not busy and you can see people cleaning constantly. Proper mask wearing is required for 3 and older. No wait for the 1 ride on a weekday morning. They give you a bag of your choice Lego or Duplos to play with, so no sharing outside of families. You use these to build cars to race down ramps. My kids enjoyed the 4D movie. We were 1 of 3 families in our sitting. I picked up some Lego vocabulary in the Lego lesson, where we built a small snowman scene. The pirate playground was open and that was the one place I didn't see constant cleaning happening. We ended up spending 4 hours there, but my older boys could have spent much more time if the 2 year old wasn't way past nap time. Google promo code for free kids ticket with paid adult.

This is an excellent family adventure and way to celebrate a birthday! There is an excellent 4d movie that runs about 20 mins. The children inside were going crazy watching it. The facility is clean and well organized. One of the attractions was closed and the Cafe didn't have hot food available that day, which is why I gave 4 stars. It's easy to navigate to if traveling out of town, and flexible if you're late. My son enjoyed everything.

Surprisingly good! I didn't expect it being on the third floor of a mall. There are lots of games and activities. Perfect for a 10 year old. In the main room, there's a build a car and race it on a track activity that has all the kids building and busy. Nice! There's even a dumbo style Lego ride up there.

Ideal for children. Plenty of Legos all about the place. Daughter loved it for her birthday. But recommend eating either before or after elsewhere as the cafe food are overpriced microwaved food. Spent almost the same amount for food for three kids and three adults there as I did at the first place restaurants (~$60 total). Other than that, kids had fun and I guess that was what mattered in the end. The people that worked there were nice and helpful. Oh! And save your money when it comes to purchasing the digital picture option. We used it once and the experience was lackluster. But other than those few things, it was worth at least experiencing once, specifically for little ones.

This is for the shop, not the whole experience. They have a print-your-own mini figure (torso) machine. Several kits there that were sold out online. The only bad part was that they didn't take lego VIP cards. The clerk did give a 5% discount to compensate. Just ask.

The staff was amazing they interact with guess and help them to build. It was quite small compared to other discovery centers we have been to. But extremely kid friendly.

    Not good. Overpriced and dirty.

We had a great time. They now give you a personal bag of legos to carry around and make race cars with but unfortunately there's not enough pieces in a bag to really build well.

Horrible they are closed on December 22nd, but allowed me to purchase tickets for this date. Their website didn't say they would be closed. Checked google they won't open till Thursday after I leave town. Called no one answered only automatic service. Very unprofessional!!!

Cool place for kids 10 or younger or those who just really love Legos. Lots of attractions like the city of Atlanta, Ninjago, Pirate Ships and Castles for kids to run and explore on. Refreshments are sold at a Lego Cafe and there are lots of hands on lego building.

    1) The first ride we went to try was closed, so we didn't get a chance to ride that. Then if we wanted to use the VR we would have had to pay another $5 per person on top of our tickets.2) The cafe closed at 4 or 4:30. I know that we got afternoon tickets but there was no wandering that things would be closing earlier.3) More than half of the interactive buttons did not work. 4) We understand with COVID sanitizing everything is important but the bags we got to build Legos with didn't have enough pieces to build a car. It would have been nice for someone to check to make sure each child had enough pieces to build a car. The race track button to race the cars was broken.5) The 4D was really 3D the only 4D part was high blasts of wind.6) The bathrooms were gross. The new roll of toilet paper I went to unwrap was already wet.7) Most of the staff was super unhappy.8) They still had signs to buy/create your own mini figure and when we asked about it they said they took it out because of COVID but we could pick a premade one. Almost all of the premade ones where the same (they looked like maids).9) The lego class wasn't open.

It's a LEGO wonderland! The miniland but with so so many details. It's just amazing! Kudos to the creators, for the ones who built them, the maintenance staff, and the housekeeping!👏👏

Total waste of money. There is like nothing to do. Drove four hours for my nephews birthday, hopefully the aquarium is better. You have to ask for legos and we couldn’t even make a car with the two different bags we asked for. Told me my daughter was too small to ride the ride without even bothering to measure her height, which she was tall enough and ultimately got to ride. Then at the end the lady in the gift shop was snatching things right out of our kids hands. Not very kid friendly.

Cool place and large selection. I did not participate in the activities due to covid but I did go to the store.

Most of the fun rides require payment. Once you go in you cannot re-enter if you wish to buy something from the mall do it before. Overall is an fun experience for the kids. They have a small leggo park to enjoy and run around but is a bit crowded. Kids can build cars from leggos they obtain and race them.

I've tried hard to love this place, but I just can't. It seems run down and I feel like everything could use a good scrubbing. The exhibits on how Legos are made were so lame I didn't know if they were actually working (they were working but very underwhelming). My kids had fun, but no more fun than had we taken them to a fast food restaurant's playground as the play area at the end was the highlight. I'm disappointed and because of how much it cost to get in here, now in a bad mood.

my kids have a blast! The rides are open and not crowded, it will be better if they can fix the screen for the first ride. 4D movies are great though most effects are water splash lol. They do have some to fix. Overall it worth a visit for kids love Lego.

Fun place where grandchildren ages 5 and 4 enjoy a variety of activities. Great staff--Dollimeshia, Jamica and Shanika--all of whom deliver world class customer service.

We went for my 12 year sons birthday. I was so pleased. Both him and his brother who is five had a blast. Even me and my hubby enjoyed ourselves. I was a little worried how they were going to keep everything clean. But they were extremely clean. They have a great system in place. The staff was to real seem to enjoy their job and seem to be having fun as well. I would definitely recommend this

They can be more strict with the policy that once you are in the store you can stay as long as you want as long as you don't exit during the pandemic. It got really crowded!!!!
