We visited this place on long weekend, but it was not crowded much. Our time in this place was really amazing. We like the museum and the concept with each and every play topic is unique. My kid like the water and fish, Waffle House and the paint wall. Surprisingly they have music and play time for few minutes for all the kids. It’s for all ages!!

My family and I had a ball! We took my 3 year old grandson and he was totally amazed. When we entered the museum he said "Wow. Wow Mommy " So the next three hours he was locked into the most fun he had had in a while. He had more fun here than he did at his birthday party a few weeks ago. This is, was, and shall always be Noah's spot. 🥰

Visited the place recently and found it expanded its exhibits compares to 10 years ago. Added second floor exhibits and hands-on things dedicated to STEM probably more suitable for upper elementary students and up. Our rising 1st Grader spend almost 2 hours at this place. $20/Person for up to 3 hours session. Advanced online bookings ia HIGHLT recommended if you want to get in. We parked on streets near apartment complexes next to the museum. DO NOT go near the Aquarium as the traffics around the entrance of its parking deck is HORRIBLE!

It is a pretty neat place. It is not massive, but they do have cool science experiments. The shopping area was interesting. The small child area was a little lacking. They are very stringent on cleanliness. There are several employees there to guide the children through science experiments. My primary issue wasn't with the activities or staff. It was the value. My 1 year old, 3 year old, wife, and I purchased tickets for $80 and parking for $10. There is a 2 hour limit on how long the kids can play. So for nearly $100, we fought Atlanta traffic and the kids got to do a little more than basic science experiments and activities that are similar to a playground, which we could have gone to for free without the traffic. If it were $5 - $10 for kids, cheaper for adults (since they aren't actually doing anything) and free or much cheaper for under 2, I'd recommend. It was a great experience going once, but probably won't be going again.

We LOVE the children’s museum! I have had a membership for several years and my kids love coming nearly quarterly. The new exhibits are always fun and interactive. I highly recommend this for children of all ages!

We are members! We come quite often and every time our kids find something new to play with. If you live in Atlanta, I would recommend you just become a member. By the time you pay for you and the kids once or twice, you bought the membership. Parking is a bit tricky but if you come often enough you’ll figure out where the cheaper spots are too. Come join us! We love this place!

Lots of fun for the kiddos! I love that they have toddler sections off to the side so your bigger kids can do some running and climbing while the smallest kids have a place sized for them. Glad to see so many people still wearing masks, and the split play times help with capacity. We especially enjoyed the Farm to Table activities and the trains showing geography.

Really fun children's museum. Lots of exhibits that can entertain various ages (we had 2.5 + 4). Kept our toddlers busy for 1.5 hours easily and they got to try everything except the big kid climber. Price was reasonable and while it wasn't quite as large as St Louis or even Tampa museums, it's still a great visit!

Really fun place for kids $18 per person (kids price is the same) Parking starting at $15 in the area. We love hands on children museums and this was an excellent experience for our kids. It's nice and clean and well maintained. The staff is very active in cleaning up after the kids and that helps ensure toys are available for everyone. Check out the pics for more info on the the different attractions. I would say an hour is more than enough time to spend here. You can leave and come back if you get your hand stamped. You can eat upstairs but it may be filled with kids on field trips. You must bring your own food.

Great place for our 3 year olds pre birthday play date!!!! We had a wonderful time watching all of the kids go from each station playing and having a good time. Even though the adults were worn out after about 3 hours it was well worth it. The kids were crying to stay. Thank you Children’s Museum of Atlanta!!!!

The Museum is well-designed and the layout is easy to navigate. There are different sections and exhibits for children of all ages, ensuring that there is something for everyone. The exhibits are interactive and engaging, allowing children to learn through hands-on The staff was knowledgeable and answered all my Questions. The museum also offers art workshops and classes, which is a great way for kids to further explore their artistic side. The museum is well-maintained. I highly recommend it for a day of fun and learning with your children.

We visited the place in a rainy day, it is actually a huge playground for children with lots of creative work and sensory activities. I think it is suitable for young children and max. age nine. My daughter who is 7 really enjoyed the ball activities, fishing section and the engineering section upstairs. It was a nice a visit.

  • 5/5 Ethan G. 8 months ago on Google
A really great children’s museum with lots of fun activities for the kids. Lots of basic okay plus some science, engineering and arts. Parking is in the garage across the street. Buy tickets in advance. You cannot buy tickets at the door.

This place is awesome as well as the surrounding area. Lots of fun for kids to take a break from their day to day a lot of activities i found myself caught up in with more excitement than my child. Great safe and temperature controlled environment for a lot of kids.

We weren't sure what the museum would be like during this Pandemic, but we have been pleasantly surprised! There were only 14 people total in the whole museum, we were totally able to be socially distanced and all the employees kept the place spotless. We feel completely comfortable taking our 2 kids (ages 1.5 and 4.5) there! And they always have such an amazing time.

It’s funny that when purchasing tickets the child range Is 3-17 because in my opinion any one over 2 should definitely be at a discounted price, if not free. For what was offered, 20.00 is way to much to be charging for children over 3 let alone the adults who are really there just to follow behind the kids. This is a great place to explore with little ones. emphasis on little. I brought children in ages of 6, 8 and 12. My mistake. And their black history “exhibit” was very disappointing. Do it right or not at all. I had an extra ticket due to a child I was planning on bringing not showing up. She made it clear that they don’t do refunds but I could keep the ticket for a different day. That definitely will not be happening, but I hope they use that money to get new supplies for the “art studio” to replace the broken to pieces crayons and dried out markers. Social distance opportunity is present. Hand sanitizer through out the center and a worker available to collect the hands on things for sanitation.

Overall my daughter had a GREAT time. I didn't mind to pay for parking etc...but I do feel as though parents shouldn't be charged because it's a huge obvious duh that we have to accompany our children. The place was clean, well maintained and when we went it was not super crowded at all. We felt safe, I'm glad mask was enforced and my daughter enjoyed her 3rd birthday celebration here!

A wonderful center full of enrichment and science education. Not a conventional museum, but more of an interactive play environment for children to explore and experience. Staff is helpful and friendly. Museum regularly updates exhibits and has a number of well known classic areas that always lead to a fun time.

Best for kids 10 and under. Creative thinking, innovative for young minds, fun interactive activities. Kid aprons provided at paint station and ponchos at fishing hole. Seating located throughout. Birthday party rooms available. Alma Mexicana performances very entertaining. Gift shop open during your scheduled time. No re-entry allowed. No discounts offered. Park in garage across from museum. Avoid visiting during, sports or special events parking price increases. Clean environment, and friendly staff.

We enjoyed ourselves. They have a nice policy to ensure the safety of everyone, which we appreciated. They require everyone 5 and older to wear a mask. They have 3 different time frames you can choose when you buy your tickets. That helps limit the amount of people in the building. Again we appreciated that! They did have someone cleaning the surfaces/toys while we were there. They have had sanitizer all over. They clean in between time frames. We felt safe and the facility was clean. This place is perfect for younger kids. My kids had a blast during our 2 hour time frame!!

Brought our child here during a trip to Atlanta. He loved every second he was here. Activities for kids 1+. If a kid can play, they'll have fun. All kinds of activities to engage children. Extremely clean, hand sanitizer available throughout (that was a nice touch), safe, and stimulating. Our little one napped hard after a couple hours here. Definitely worth a stop, and would absolutely go again.

Very interactive and fun! We have a Grandparent Plus Membership that allows access to numerous museums. It provides memorable experiences for our family - all 3 generations!

They had the perfect system for allowing people in during this pandemic. The staff was friendly and continuously sanitized the toys and equipment. They even offered arts and crafts. My daughter isn't quite 2 yet and she had a great time. They have 2 hr time slots and its a hard cut off, but thats understandable. Great for Littles and Parents.

Took my 5 and 7 year old, and I felt it was catered to smaller children. 2-4 year olds. I felt it was a bit over priced. Considering parking, you park across the street for 12 dollars for 2+ hours.

The museum was a little smaller than I expected and it got pretty crowded during our visit. However, it was very well laid out for younger kids. They shut down in the middle of the day to clean everything and then re-open. That's a smart and appreciated move to keep everyone healthy.

Children’s Museum of Atlanta is such an amazing place. As an educator with 20 years, plus of experience, there is no place greater than the children’s museum. There children have the option to have interactive play that encourage problem-solving and fun. If you have a child that is birth to 10 years old, the children’s museum is a magical place. Highly recommend you go and experience!

Our 3 year old and 1 year old LOVE this place. We invested in memberships a year ago and it was a no brainer to renew. Our kids will beg and cry to come here. It is clean and friendly and something for kids of a variety of ages. Also a great option when it's too hot or too cold outside.

  • 1/5 Tom J. 3 years ago on Google
Very disappointed! First of all there is no senior or military discount on the $18.95 ticket price. However, if you have an EBT card you can get 4 people in for less than $3 a piece!!!! Tell me again about discrimination or white privilege. Once you get in, you will find the place very small, and will notice how many of the parents do not watch their children's activities while they are there. This leads to other children interrupting what you are attempting to teach your child or grandchild. Would not recommend!

  • 5/5 Candace D. 1 year ago on Google
An awesome play time. The science would better if my son slowed down. Toddler only areas, arts, building, pretend cooking and fishing, lessons, S.T.E.M. activities and lots of playing!

Annual mbership is worth every penny for sure. Our toddler (2.5 years old) LOVES this place. It never gets old and is a great way to. Burn off some energy (especially when the weather outside isn't great)

Have always loved this place! I was nervous about play places & covid. We booked a 930/1130 slot. It was VERY clean & the staff continued to sanitize the whole time. They still had storytime, science project & craft class which were really cool. I appreciate the extra effort in keeping our kids safe while having fun!👍

Kids loved it! Staff very well careful with COVID, I recommend

  • 4/5 JOSHUA R. 3 years ago on Google
Good news first. The place is awesome for the little ones. I enjoyed it very much also. Covid has the building much less crowded. Reservations make your trip less impulsive. The gift shop has very cool gifts. Now the not so good. I last came to this place 3 or 4 years ago and it was pretty much the same things to do. Not much has changed. But I bought the family membership cause why pay $90 when you can pay $130 instead.

Great place! My two boys (2yr &4yr) absolutely loved it and did not want to leave! My husband and I enjoyed it also. The attractions were very entertaining. We had to make our boys move on to try other things. The staff did not hesitate asking people to pull their masks up or asking them to have their children pull their masks up. They were very respectful. They even had an announcement over the loud speakers intermittently to remind people to keep their masks on properly. I loved it!

My nephew is 4 years old and he and my sis and bro are in town from Dallas. The Children’s Museum is the perfect place for children to learn and explore! It was great for my own inner child to watch and collaboratively play with him. Will definitely bring him back for more time exploring!

Great place to take the kids to have fun. I wish it was not in the middle of downtown as it's impossible to take the kids there in the middle of the week with their hours.

  • 5/5 Iris H. 8 months ago on Google
I came here years ago with my oldest child and finally decided to bring my youngest. It was such a blast and both my children loved it! Years ago my daughter loved the restaurant, grocery store and farm. While recently, my son loved the crane, tree house, shipping truck and sand box. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. It was clean and all the toys were in great shape. Going on Tuesday saved us a little on the price of tickets but plan ahead for parking. Buy parking before you leave if you can. It's always busy in Atlanta.

I love the Children's Museum and my children love the Children's Museum. Great way to burn off some energy and get some educational time in. I really love the person that did the sound lesson upstairs. I wish they had more people at the different stations to explain to the kiddos what was happening to make it a little more educational and not just play.

First time here, and it was a great experience. Not overcrowded, and plenty of activities. My daughter loved the sand pits and all the arts and crafts as well. Great addition to the weekend.

  • 5/5 Holly M. 3 years ago on Google
My 2 year (and 4 months) old loved it. She played until she literally WOULD not walk anymore. I will probably wait until she is 4 to go back. The exhibits are really cool but her attention span would not let her get the most out of them yet. Her favorite was definitely the grocery store and the awesome (play) restaurant. It was definitely her speed. Make sure you read about the exhibits before you go. It helps and there is always an employee around to explain if you need. Parking is expensive.

  • 5/5 Alisha W. 3 years ago on Google
This review is based on the sheer pleasure our 3 yo grandson had. While I was underwhelmed at first site of activities I was highly overwhelmed with the lengths they seem to be going through to keep everyone safe. From the times entries to the cleaning. The staff blends in seamlessly and you wouldn't notice except you find them constantly cleaning. The colors are bright, the space and activities, plenty. We were so impressed we bought family passes and have gone twice since. If only we can get him to move away from the trains for more than 10 minutes. Oh well that's why we have the pass and he loves it as did all the other kids who we saw. None of them seemed bored and they all were sad when it was time to leave.

  • 5/5 Marryfarry T. 3 years ago on Google
Loved it from the first visit. We have moved to the area and are now proud members. Like they said best ages is under 8 though. As an adult, I love the kinetic sand, trains, and watching all the kiddos.

  • 5/5 Heather R. 3 years ago on Google
Top notch! Even with COVID procedures, we would go back again. The two hr slot time to get it all done was a rush so maybe extend it to three hrs (they were doing cleaning in between time slots). The whole family had fun and that includes a 1 yr old and 3 yr old.

It is a nice Children's museum. The staff is keeping it clean and it was not crowded at all right now. The only downside is that it is a small space. Given the new CDC recommendations on masks, we will not be returning anytime soon as my young children will not keep a mask on at this time. Otherwise it was a great visit and we hope to return post-Covid.

Very spacious, clean and fun-filled place to take your child 2-8yrs old..i think older kids may not enjoy the entire experience as much as a younger aged child. There are several DIY stations throughout museum. It's a great place to interact and watch your child learn, play, and experiment with others and yourself. I go at least 2-3times throughout the year with my toddler. It's safe and the staff is very helpful and friendly.you must buy tickets online for which session that best accommodates your schedule.
