My hubby and I took the Marta train to the Municipal Market. It was a half mile walk from the train station. We got off at the Georgia State station. There were several food and meat stands inside a building along with foos stands. The meat and some of the produce stands had great prices. Parking is free for one hour with a validation.

Seen this Market on Tic Tok multiple times and decide to make the Journey. Each stand provides organic foods with a fresh selection of fruit, vegetables and fresh cuts of meats. Theres also a host of herbs and spices for various cuisines. They also have a few restaurants fronts.

The Municipal Market is a nice little spot to pick up fresh food for cooking, or just grabbing a bite to eat at one of the various restaurants. That said, it's a bit rough around the edges. It's definitely not some overly polished thing like Ponce or Krog St. Still worth checking out, though.

I really enjoyed this place, it was the highlight of my day trip to Atlanta for my birthday. they have lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, good quality meats and cheese, and a lot of things you would find at any old grocery store, all in one or two shelves. I got some dragon fruit, cantaloupe, hoop cheese (it's like American cheese but in block form), some drinks, and some seasonings, it was all really good and I finished it in a day or two after getting home. They also give you a ticket when you enter their parking lot, if you put that ticket in a little machine when you get inside, you get an hour of free parking. 5/5 Stars.

Had a great time.. I know get over myself, but we went for vegan fare and we were not disappointed. Parking lot was crowded but not packed inside. The vendors seem to offer more than your regular farmers market. But, we went for food. Vegan chicken sandwiches were had by my friends. I forgot to take pictures. Every vendor had masks on which made us comfortable as well as 95% of the patrons. Purell stations throughout. One hour parking validation. Didn't use restroom so no opinion. You may eat il fresco or inside the designated areas which were open and spacious. If your looking to get away from Ponce or the Marietta market, check this place out, shop for fresh food and eat!

This was my first time ever going there. I got some popcorn that is very good. I will recommend everyone to try the popcorn at Miss D's. She was very friendly and she has some spicy popcorn that is just that. SPICY!!! The place across from her had pastry that looks good. If you have never been there go at least once.

It has been years since I had been in The Municipal Market. Much to my surprise and delight, many of the same offerings were available. I do not know if the vendors were the same. My guest and I only made a purchase at City Produce. We were there to find a yellow meat watermelon. They had some pre-cut on display. We, however, wanted and found an un-cut whole melon.

Loved it here. Make sure you visit 3 Peaches if you’re non-dairy… their selection is great. I enjoyed my frappe to the fullest. Breeze Bakery had the best sweet potato pie I ever had 😋

That was the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time! Price was great ..around $8-9 and we’ll worth the wait. I had the BBQ Brisket. It has a jalapeño coleslaw on it that I was concerned about but it was delicious!!! I’ll be back as long as that sandwich is there. The bread was toasted perfectly, sauce was sweet but not too sweet and the meat was tender. #ohyes the Earl of Sandwich!!! So good

Easy review. If you want a wide variety of groceries from both local and international markets, good prices, lots of foods prepared for you, and an excellent selection of desserts (the sweet potato chessecake is amazing), here you go. Open 6 days a week. They also have a large selection of honeys, teas, jellys and meats. Check them out.

Love going to the Curb market. All kind of goodies are here. They are even growing veggies and herbs inside on a wall. I must admit prices have gone up. Still Love it!

Was amazed at all the choices and the amazing smells! Such variety in one spot will blow your mind! From soul food to Philly's to African to tacos, even a butcher. WOW!!!!! I ended up getting the tacos. They were just ok. I wanted beef but they were out. The salsa was regular jar salsa the pork taco were tender and juicy but lacked flavor. And the consume was alright. Will definitely give them another try but this place has so many other options one experience can't bring it down. I'm going back!!!!

oh yeah, this historical market I have visited from my youth, still my go to for seasonal fresh veggies and spices from the Sister's spice shop at the entrance into the market. Lunch at Afro-dish has been a long-term first choice because of the daily prepared Caribbean quisin, get there early or your favorite such as patties will be "finished " as stated in Jamaica 🇯🇲!¡!

This place is very historic. If you want to get your meat fresh there are stalls where butchers are set up. Also if you're into fresh produce there are stores inside that can accommodate that. There are a variety of shops and restaurants inside also, but a few of my favorites have moved out or gone out of business. My favorite was Grindhouse Burgers, but there's one not too far from where I stay now.

The Municipal Market is a great find. From groceries to a fresh made meal, this place is a great place to eat. I would recommend it for a lunch break as well as a food destination. Restaurants within the market include Vietnamese, Ethiopian, Louisiana, a juicery, a coffee shop, fresh pies, the pop-up ramen stand, and more restaurants. There are also a few other vendors and a couple of grocery shops. Delicious food. Pleasant atmosphere. People are there for food and the vibe is “let’s eat.” Wonderful all around. Available seating inside and outside.

Wife wanted to check it out. Lots of super cool stuff and delicious food shops. Well worth the hour drive. Had lots of doublecrust pies from Panbury's. Next time I will try the French/Cajun deserts.

I come here for mainly to buy Sisi Lola's seasonings. They are the best and a great value my only gripe is that they close @5p. I wish they stayed opened until at least 6/7p. Other than that it is a great place to shop and pickup your specialty items and food.

Came here by way of lightrail. We had no idea this market was here. We ended up grabbing some sweet and savory pies to be baked at home from Panbury's. They have Vietnamese, Mexican, Jamaican and other ethnic foods. The market was so busy right b4 Thanksgiving. There is parking available, too.

As a citizen of Atlanta I love this place! But one star because parking is no longer free. I hate when businesses try to be slick it’s a tiny sign as you enter that I missed but once you enter you will see the larger price list for parking. They want you to pay cash so they can save on the credit card transactions. So patronizing this establishment isn’t enough! Publix and Kroger is about to charge for parking as well it’s the new Rich Atlanta Trend 🤢 hit the like button if you’re on a budget but love to grocery shop here!!!! Now I have to walk🙄

I went here and had a bad experience with one of the venders. I just want to get my produce and keep it moving! The other venders were nice and courteous so I won't give this farmers market a 2 star. I just won't be back to that store. My greens, Turkey wings and hot water corn bread turned out great 😊😊❤❤

I go and get my favorite dehydrated mangos. Man there a healthy treat. But municipal market is much more. The choices are great and the people are friendly.

It’s a staple! You have to know what you’re going for to get the satisfaction out of visiting. I go for the cut up collard greens and yams just because I like the convenience of not having to do that part when cooking my dinner. The meat is not much of a steal or deal in my opinion. There are other decent finds like the popcorn and dessert lady 🤦🏾‍♀️ don’t know the name of the biz. There is also the seamoss/natural drink booth. Again don’t know the name. The buffet style food looks…👀 hmmm suspect, but somebody likes it I just the level of cleanliness for me

Such a rich cultural experience 👌🏾 So many and varied places to eat You can purchase fresh veggies, fruit and a whole lotta different kinds of meat:. Oxtails, ground beef, chicken, pork etc etc. There are small grocery stores, hamburger stand, Philly cheese steak stand. On and on. They now have a uniform shop selling stethoscopes, head gear for work, and the like. Haven't been here in a good while but they're maintaining just fine A must visit!!

I first had Miss D’s at a Falcons game I ordered the Triple for about $6 and it was fresh as well as delicious! The cotton candy looked good too. Once I got home I googled her and was excited to see there’s a store front about 20mins from me. Can’t wait to try her other treats.

favorite for years ❤️ 💕 dated back to 6th grade I shopped here for my great grandmother. This market has a very rich history in Atlanta. I will always cherish the many experiences I was privileged to enjoy. Always my go to for fresh seasonal vegetables, custom cut meats, spices and cultural delicacies including the raw bar for fresh squeezed juices 💗💖😃!¡!

I enjoyed walking around seeing all that is offered, so much to see and choose from. You can easily spend multiple HOURS Here, there are quite a few eateries so if you're a foodie, this will be near Heaven for you. It's also like a farmers market of sorts where you can buy grocer, fresh fish, veggies and so much more!!

The OG marketplace of Atlanta, close to downtown, fairly big market, big parking lot, lots of stuff to buy and explore, old but clean premises, nice place to visit as a tourist, a touch of reality of American living...

Get your ticket validated inside at the machine for free parking. Cheesecake place is amazing! $8 a slice but all are good. The brownie cheesecake is my favorite. It's across from Miss D's Pralines which is also 😊

This place is awesome. Fantastic looking produce and meats, plus some delicious cooked foods and drinks in all the shops. Very good.

Good food hall. Not as nice and ritzy as some of the others but good options nonetheless. Try to avoid the lunch crowd if possible. That's when all the workers from the hospital are there and orders can take a minute. A staple in the city indeed

I love it! It feels real and is very safe. I have been shopping there for a variety of -unique- food items for years! I do wish there were more diversity among the shoppers. But that is not important to me. Great location, as well!
