The Samurai exhibit was really impressive, as was local artist Brandon Sadlers works. So many intricate pieces of armour, clothing, helmets etc. Well worth a visit before the exhibit leaves.

This was a jazz night at the High. I easily bought my ticket online and was able to get in with showing my QRcode ticket. The drinks were good and the music was nice. We listened to the music for a while and then went to explore the art exhibits. We saw most of the permanent exhibits as well as the special exhibit, which was Beatrice Potter. I would recommend eating prior to coming. They have snack stations, but to have a good base before having drinks, a good meal is recommended. There are lots of good restaurants nearby. A fun night.

The museum is in midtown, very easy to access. We visited with our daughter, she enjoyed the children playground section in the entrace. Especially she loved the digital body painting art. The museum was not crowded, easy to exlpore. There are renaissance, impressionism and modern art sections. We enjoyed the visit.

High art museum in Atlanta was excellent. Nice collection of modern art, easy to navigate, not overwhelming. Easy to find public parking nearby. Best of all it has reciprocal membership with other art museums, so our entry was gratis.

Beautiful building and plaza area. I actually went to the High Museum but stopped inside just to see what shows were upcoming. A friendly lady walked me around and gave me brochures.

What a beautiful experience to witness BLACK art on display and not just an exhibition!!!! I was so impressed and engaged in everything I saw! Definitely one of my favorite art museums I’ve visited! My goal is to visit every art museum in a new city and this was by far a great experience! Make sure to check out the different wings!

Date night with my husband Don was wonderful 💕! First visit to the "high," and we thoroughly enjoy the amazing jazz ensemble and all the wonderful artists' contributions and artifacts! It's such a great place to wine down and stroll around. I will add that the food vendors' prices are terrible ! It's extremely too costly for snack food! I encourage everyone to visit the "high" at least once!

Really beautiful place. They have alot of different floors with some interesting art. They have modern, glass art, painting, photographs and furniture to list a few.Nice and friendly staff. The building itself is very cool to walk through. They have a kid friendly musuem area where your child gets to interact with the art work. Nice little feature in the musuem. Would go check out again.

First time, in a while visiting the High Museum of Arts and every time I go it always seems like the very first time. My visit this time was to for the Obama's Portrait experience and yes it was definitely an amazing, heart felt experience. Walking into the rooms was moving and inspirational. So amazed with the artists approach. Simply beautiful. You had to be there. I also enjoyed observing and admiring other art piece and the brilliant minds behind them all. If you are a art lover and enjoy learning about new and exciting artists and culture this is the place to be.

This museum exhibits absolutely different kinds of art: from the 14th century to the modern, from Africa to Europe and America. Classic portrait masterpiece is beautiful. There are many unexpected pieces of art. Worth visiting.

Went to the High for the Samurai and Nubian exhibit and decided to get a membership, since my partner and I didn’t get to see all the other art, there’s just not enough time to sit and enjoy every piece. There’s so much to explore and I like to take my time and read everything. We love the ASO as well, and have had season tickets for years. Always enjoyable to come here.

Second Sundays offering free entrance, pulls the crowd and the museum was packed full. This gave an opportunity to enjoy Ancient Nubia and Samurai special exhibitions for free, what a treat!

This was our first visit and the experience was awesome! There were all sorts of exhibits, statutes and artwork. The art center was clean with plenty of security on every floor. You will have a choice of walking up or down a ramp between floors or using an elevator. I believe there are 4 or 5 floors. The bathrooms were very clean. The art center also have a store to purchase gifts which we did not have a chance to visit. There is also an outdoor seating area to eat. We did not see a restaurant but there was a cart to buy snacks and drinks. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We we able to scan a QR code on every floor with our phones that gives you info for each floor. They do allow you to take photos and answer any questions you may have. We will visit again. The cost was about $14.95 per person and free for children five and under.

Friday night jazz was a nice change of pace. I wish people were more respectful of the performances and kept their voices down so we could hear the artists better.. we still hd a great time.

The High Museum never ceases to amaze with all of their exhibitions. Have never had a bad time at this place, but this is my first review. The parking is validated when you get the tickets, the lines move quickly and the countless displays will move you as there is something for everyone at this place if you are an art lover. When I woke up today, I did not expect to see my first ever Rothko, as well as some paintings that I have seen on display in Rome, Italy years ago. It is wild, the caliber of artists of all types that can be found on display, from Renaissance painters to modern and current artists. This place is a must stop when in the Atlanta area.

As members, we go when the museum won't be crowded. This gives us the time to fully watch the accompanying videos which enhance the exhibits. The Samurai exhibit had videos of sword-making and archery from atop a galloping horse. The connection to Star Wars and other movies will intrigue youngsters.

Attended the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. They were PHENOMINAL. We were in the farthest back ground seats and the view, acoustics, energy, EVERYTHING was awesome. Lovely building too.

I absolutely adore this museum. It's in my home town and my family and I have a season membership so we can visit when we please for a couple of months. The art is stunning, the staff is lovely, the summer camps are also very nice, and I just love the place. If you're a tourist or even just someone who lives near by, I highly recommend stopping by.

The Arts center has always been one of my favorite places since I was younger. This exhibit of culture was amazing. I didn't take a many photos as I wanted to but I learned a lot.

It's a lovely museum, bigger than it looks, and don't forget the lower level! So many different kinds of art, from all over the world. We're lucky to have a museum like this in Georgia.

Decent facility for music and stage performances. Wish the acoustics in the concert hall were a little better. They do a good job with what they have though. Professionally run and maintained.

I always have a pleasant visit when I make a visit to tour the artwork at the Woodruff Arts center. It was a very nice visit. We went on the Love Tour and it was definitely a pleasant tour. There were so many different art pieces from different genres and history. The staff was pleasant and made sure they explained in detail if there was any confusion as to what may have been going on in the artwork. They close early on Sundays so we had to kind of move fast through the facility. We arrived at 3:00 p.m. it was rather cold in the museum on this day extremely cold. I wish I would have brought a jacket. Other than that, it was a very pleasant experience.

We enjoyed our visit to the High Museum. A lot of great exhibits. I loved the creativity and exploration of the area for kids. The rainbow room is a must when visiting. This is a hidden gem for families. Also, they offer a Veterans discount so that was a plus.

Enjoyed the gallery from the beginning to the end, the kids rooms and the art, they have a nice collection of French impressionists and other collections are also pretty impressing

I was intrigued, fascinated, educated, and had a great time. And having a DJ and several bars make the experience more pleasant and memorable. Will have to visit again to really focus on the arts.

Had a great time, missed their exhibit but excited for the new one, it wasn't too expensive for the time spent, and a lot of my favorite artists were on display, Thomas Cole 😭😍 hopefully he stays. A beautiful building, and a time to enjoy. We went on a weekday afternoon and it was fairly empty.

Amazing place. Live Jazz every third Friday!! Drinks are strong, atmosphere is amazing. This place was a whole vibe! Some people danced and admired the bands, others browsed the gallery. I chose to walk through starting from the first floor working my way down the first. Wear some comfortable shoes!!

Not A Bad Seat In The House! We were sitting Orchestra Left Row W. The sound was amazing. LEELA JAMES WAS TOO AWESOME!! The Location was easy Accessibility to Marta. A very cute artsy stroll for the person who likes photo opportunities with some of the different designs long the way. They did a bag search and metal detector wand upon entering the building. The staff were polite. Drinks were for sale $12 a piece with a small variety of snack like items e.i Miss Vicki potato chips and candy items.

I went to the arts center for the Friday nights event. The center has very riveting diverse art from different time periods. The Friday nights event is overrated and over hyped. I would rather go during normal hours than pay $20 parking and $20 for the Friday event. The place was over crowded and DJ did not have a good selection of music

Lovely venue! My husband and I recently went to the Ben Folds show. Our seats were at the very top of the symphony hall, in the middle of the highest row of the balcony. The sound was amazing and made for a fantastic show! Would absolutely recommend the VIP parking in the adjoining garage. If I had any complaint it would be that the directional signs outside the symphony hall were a little confusing, but overall it was a great time in a beautiful facility getting to see my favorite musician of all time!
