This was a beautiful park. However it is dealing with the same blighted issues that this neighborhood is dealing with namely an epidemic of homelessness. I took my son here to play only to find out much to my chagrin that there were people sleeping and smoking on the rock climber/play apparatus. This is unfortunately not a safe space for children to play and this is compounded with the issue that there are very few play spaces for children in this area. The parks are overwhelmed with homeless individuals. The structures and landscaping show the park is well cared for but it still is not a safe space at all.

Good park, well designed in the heart of Atlanta. This park is very spacious with benches to sit and also have beautiful fountains. This park is located at walking distance from Peachtree Marta station. There are many eateries near to this park. This park deserves 5 stars, but giving a rating of 4 as it seems not safe after evening as night time this area is occupied by homeless people.

I was visiting for a conference and wanted to walk around to explore downtown Atlanta. I saw a peaceful demonstration and was delighted to talk to some of the protesters. Great place to rest for a little and get off your feet.

A must visit park on your trip to Atlanta Downtown. It was peaceful when I visit in noon on a weekday. Wish I could visit during evenings. Will definitely come back on my next Atlanta visit ☺️

A beautiful park in Downtown Atlanta. Fountains everywhere. Nice benches to sit. However, did not find the place safe. The park is filled with homeless people. Hence would not recommend to visit here anytime after late evening.

We went for an early morning walk in the park. It was so quite, serene and peaceful. The birds were chirping, the ducks and the geese were happily swimming in the lake. I highly recommend this park for a family outing.

Great park! The fountains and the "ATL" playground are my girls' favorite downtown features. I'd give it 5 stars if there was ample parking nearby.

Not that I dislike the place, which the number of stars might suggest, but I was shocked a bit by what its state in which it was manifested. I didn't know how big the numbers of homeless people in downtown Atlanta were, and even though there were some Christian charities distributing warm meals to them, the scale was just big and it made me wonder about what the story was. Because of the temperatures, the stench of urine lowered the beauty of this green oasis standing amid all the concrete (which sort of explains why all the people gather here, as where else would they).

The water features were beautiful but there weren’t any places to sit and enjoy them and the whole park smelled like urine. Would be great if the city could provide some restrooms so people could have an option other than the ground.

PokemonGo Fest 2021 was originally scheduled for the Olympic park but moved here due to scheduling issues and the park being closed. There were some really nice fountains and trees with a small play area and some grass area for playing or picnics. The park was much too small for the event and seemed to be also be a place where many homeless were keeping cool. Would be better if there were park benches but we brought a picnic blanket with us.

Captain Ahab of Ahab's Adventures getting his first impressions of Atlanta right off the metro. The fountain was a refreshing site coming into the heat of Atlanta from the winter in New England!

A real nice park, well maintained I could Def see a potential flooding problem but I did notice a man hole underneath the turf lawn. Plenty of places to sit

Grandson had an awesome time. My family members saw lots of rats running across in broad daylight. Lol. Needless to say we left.

The park was nice but I didn't particularly like the religious group luring in people.

Was nice to see the statues, art, fountains and a great group of people distributing lunches. Everyone was friendly and enjoyed seeing our dog. Probably not a place I would visit alone or after dark. Saw the trolley and streetcar. Enjoyed some old storefronts, the classic Coca Cola sign and a very nice person working a oldtime newstand. Took a nice photos.

It is an interesting park to visit. There a many members of a diverse community that inhabit it during the day. It is a beautiful park, and having the opportunity to engage with the community was eye opening and troubling at the same time. There is entirely to much homelessness in this beautiful town. If you have been blessed with much, as a fellow human being, you should open your hearts, hands, and pockets to give. God is watch and will bless you for doing so ... Peace and blessings to you on this day!

Woodruff park was really nice. The big water fountain was cool and relaxing . It’s located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. One thing about this area is there is a lot of homeless people here. But seeing as it’s winter it seemed like there was less homeless than normal . Just be careful of who you go around.

I saw this as a visitor to ATL, I'm not from there. It was a small, pretty green space in the middle of downtown. There's a pretty waterfall too. Unfortunately there were a lot of homeless folk there, who seemed to have the run of the place. Not trying to sound mean, just being honest. The little playground had clothes and sleeping bags stashed in it. I'd recommend walking through, just be careful.

It's a nice quaint green space in the middle of downtown Atlanta. The playground was a nice addition but I don't think anyone plays on it. Daytime hours play host to a number of organized activities, chess matches, and events. Unfortunately, during the evening hours it's taken over by the unhoused residents of the area. I went unnoticed as they went about their business. Not well lit but is technically closed overnight.

It was under construction when I went but the fountain was pretty to take pictures in front of. Very pretty city at night!

The Marta five points stations are nearby. office locations for Chase, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America are also included. The building design is stunning. For those of you DC's Batman lovers, I'll call it Gotham City. fantastic area for dog walks.

We stumbled upon the 11th annual Atlanta hip hop festival. It was cool to listen to some raw talent. Lots of vendors there to check out some local stuff too. The park itself is dirty so be careful sitting down or touching anything.

Located next to Marta five points stations. Along with Chase, Wells Fargo, and Bank Of America office sites. The architecture is eye popping. I call it Gotham City for all you DC's Batman fans.

Lots of aggressive homeless people. The park upkeep is rather good given the population. Definitely not a tourist environment. The Candy Club store is a little gem there.

This is a small park. Not many trails. A little smelly. Quant.

Woodruff is a place to really watch your back. There is a great amount of homeless activity there. But it's a park in the middle of downtown Atlanta. I know that the homeless are attracted to the park, but seriously, something needs to be done about our homeless problem. It's very unattractive, and some of the other activities like street racing and groups of young people skateboarding and wildly riding bicycles through town is an issue for us hometown people who just want to enjoy downtown

Good place to visit during an event other than that the area surrounds itself with homeless people. The smell and and cleanliness could be a bit better.

Small park in the middle of the city....run down and really not worth visiting. Cool to see if your otw to do something else and that's about it.

Critical Mass bike ride last Friday every month 6:30pm. Fun, casual 10-15 mile ride around the city.
