For a classy and historical event space Rhodes Hall can't be beat. Affordable and easy rental coupled with a an attentive staff makes this beautiful space an excellent choice for weddings, receptions, and corporate events. I especially love what was done for the grounds and landscaping in 2017. Parking is a challenge for first time visitors, but still convenient once you figure out its off Spring Street. Make sure to tell your guests about this before they arrive.

We just had our wedding at Rhodes Hall last weekend and are so happy we did! Chrystal and her staff were extremely easy to work with. She responded quickly to my emails and questions, and came up with great ideas when it came to planning our reception. We had a small guest list (about 35), and it was the perfect size! With not knowing how the weather would turn out, we planned to have everything inside. We had our bar in the den, dance floor/DJ in the main room, and seated guests in the library and parlor. My husband and I had our sweetheart table in the parlor, as well as our cake on the beautiful marble table. The weather turned out beautifully and we were able to open the front door so guests could mingle on the huge front porch. One of the reasons we chose RH is for the history and beautiful decor inside. We loved the fact we didn't have to do much to decorate for our reception. Also, we took advantage of going up the tower to have our pictures taken. What a view of the city!

Beautiful history we can't find as much of anymore. It's constructed from Stone Mountain's granite and is one of the few surviving grand historic mansions in Atlanta. The tour is well worth it.

We had our intimate, 30 guest wedding ceremony and reception at Rhodes Hall and I cannot recommend it enough! Caroline was so easy to work with and the venue itself has so much built in charm. Finding gorgeous places to take photos is extremely easy and I can’t wait to get ours back from the photographer because I know they are going to be amazing! Our guests loved the way the reception was set up inside with the dining tables in the parlor and the bar in the front room! We had our ceremony out front and it worked out perfectly. Overall, I am obsessed with how our wedding turned out and it would not have turned out nearly as special if we had hosted it anywhere else!

Really beautiful venue very 1930s feel to the place. Just enough for an intimate wedding or party. The staff there is exceptional and very courteous and helpful. I worked their as a vendor and they were amazing.

Rhodes Hall seems like a fantastic place and is beautiful on the outside. Unfortunately, unless you're having an event here there is little to no chance of getting inside to see the "museum" which seems to be far from the intended purpose when the property was given to the city by the former owner in their will. The building is a fantastic break from the typical Atlanta scenery and one of only a select few places the city hasn't destroyed to replace with overpriced condos. If you're walking around the area stop by and take pictures from the street since it's not a welcoming museum for the city's inhabitants unless you have the $$$ to fork over to have an event here. I gave 2 stars simply due to the fact it's not open to the public despite the property intended to be used as such. It's an amazing and formidable looking building from the outside tho and I'm sure equally as stunning on the inside but who knows since we're not allowed to see.

We went to Rhodes hall for a wedding and I can't imagine a better place they could have had the wedding at. It is absolutely gorgeous with a castle like feel. Both indoors and outdoors are beautiful. Overall, the venue was the highlight of the wedding!

I'm a docent at Rhodes Hall and work some of the events so I will say up front, I am somewhat biased. But I really can't recommend this place more highly for tours or for an event. If you enjoy history and old houses you have to take a tour. Usually every Saturday between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, tours are given on the hour. To plan an event you can look on line through the Georgia Trust website for contact information. Learn about one of the early shaker and mover of Atlanta. Check out the castle on Peachtree and see what a house built in 1904 looked like.

Attended a beautiful wedding here in May. Loved the history and the beautiful woodwork, but couldn't hear the nuptials in outdoor ceremony due to surrounding Atlanta traffic which made me sad :(

This is a beautiful venue. It's reasonably priced too. The only reason we didn't use them is because we wanted an outdoor wedding and the road is pretty close to the front lawn. Perfect venue for an indoor wedding, though!

I was just writing to say thank you Caroline Plott (Hall event coordinator) for your help and generosity in making our extraordinary photos possible. Thanks for being so special to us. We did a photo session today March 22 2023, and she helped us with everything. We thank you for your kindness before, during and after the session. Andrea & Ricardo!

I had my wedding reception at Rhodes Hall and absolutely loved it. We had a great jazz band that played and it felt like we were hosting a very classy house party. Caroline, the event manager at Rhodes Hall, was super helpful and was very easy to work with. It was such a great night that if I ever do host a cocktail party in the future I will likely come back to Rhodes Hall!

We hosted our non-profit fall banquet event here. It was an excellent venue. We selected it without ever being inside and it surpassed expectations! Caroline was very easy to work with as was the entire staff. We received numerous compliments on the venue. Great location, easy parking and a fantastic space. Thank you, Caroline for working with us!

Such a nice historical site in downtown and the way it was preserved. Tour takes about an hour but well worth it.

This is truly a gem! Amazing event venue right in the heart of Atlanta. Elegance, beauty, and pure Class. Highly recommend it for your next event.

Went there for a company evening event, and I was surprised and disappointed at how shabby and poorly organized it was. Let me elaborate. The outside and the grounds look immaculate and well maintained, but the inside is another story. The interior is best described as shabby, but kept clean. There are portraits of people, but almost no information placards about it or its past tenants. I wanted to know about the history of this particular Rhodes, but couldn't find info on the first floor, which was the only one open to us. I can't imagine this place being used for anything other than small events. It's straight up cramped and the bathrooms are for one person at a time.

Really a beautiful location! The venue currently isn’t open as a museum due to COVID-19, and only runs tours through appointments. Hope to check out the space further in-depth one day!

My daughter is getting married here and since it's a non profit organization she is paying a bare minimum fee for use of the place. It's gorgeous both inside and out and much more affordable for a young couple wanting something beautiful but not spending a complete fortune!
