It is SO cool that this exists right in the middle of the city! I love the house. It wasn't in that spot originally, but it depicts the time very well. Well-planned out and assembled. It really speaks to the history of Atlanta/the south, and the old pastoral ways, so I'm so glad that they included this piece, because farming helped to shape us. There are sheep, chickens, and turkeys, so be sure to say hi!

A very interesting look into a bygone era. Extremely kid friendly. Almost everything is allowed to be touched (period clothing, furniture, household items, etc.). Goats, sheep and chickens present. Only about 2-3 minutes stroll from the main building. Staffed by very friendly volunteers who can tell you more about what you're seeing.

Pretty cool place with historic buildings but the exhibits on Native Americans needs work.

Get in touch with the past for perspective. Learn about Atlanta's history, the importance of the Battle of Atlanta, and this very painting -- and our collective memory of what really happened in 1864 and 1865 to shape this great Nation.

Loved this museum! It was tons of fun and the food was great i definitely recommend their "Souper jenny" restaurant in the main building. The smith's family farm was my favorite

Pre civil war era family farm. Nice job assembling and restoring the buildings. There were guides to answer questions when we visited.

Please take some time to do this. The flowers are lovely and the sheep will allow you to pet them. The charming lady was able to tell me the names of the flowers. Such an amazing place

Brought my dad on father's day for the Juneteenth exhibit. This was a great experience and definitely worth the trip. Great for kids and adults. Everyone will find something interesting.

Very nice review of life in the 1800's in the south. Lots of things to read, especially on slaves and how they lived. Never knew some slaves had their own gardens. Was nice to learn they typically worked these very small gardens by moonlight.

This attraction was amazing and realistic. The staff stay in character and act as slaves in the hs. It is not handicap accessible, but amazing! There is a very clear feeling of what life was like in the times of slaves in America. Go check it out and learn. Its amazing!
