If I could leave negative stars I would pertaining to the customer service. I had an issue I could not get resolved in the store and when I called to speak with the store manager I was asked “Why, why do you want to speak with a manager?” I then spoke to an ‘Erin’ who claimed to be the assistant store manager. Erin stated that there, “Was no one in a higher position than her and that no, she would not give me her supervisor’s information.” She proceeded try and argue with me and went as far as insinuating that I was attempting to steal an item from the store. This goes to show how ridiculous a phone call went in such a short period of time. I had to remind ‘Erin’ that my son was present with me and to please keep it respectful. I was simply asking for assistance with purchasing a Christmas gift for my son whom I had with me and didn’t want to ruin the surprise. I was never asked which book I was looking for. It could have been resolved by an associate or team member looking up the item for me, placing it on hold, or grabbing it while we were finishing up our shopping. I expressed that I was a little disappointed that they couldn’t be of further help to the cashier inside of the store, and was told by Erin, over the phone, to put in a formal request through the website. Having the word ‘Assistant’ in front a title is apparent that Erin was Not the actual ‘Store Manager’ to whom I was requesting to speak with. The maturity level was a little frustrating to deal with regarding the store’s associate and assistant manager, Erin, and the accusations were totally uncalled for and honestly, were downright ridiculous.

I'm super upset that the employees here are paid SO poorly! I refuse to support that, and I will no longer shop here. And the landlord of the building/property needs to access AND REPAIR ALL of the water damage, electrical issues, and general decay. These are unexceptable working conditions. The only reason I give this business two stars is because they have a decent selection, and the employees are terrific (which is part of why I'm so angry that they are paid so little). TREAT YOUR PEOPLE BETTER, Books A Million execs.

Love going into Books A Million... Atmosphere is always peaceful and the staff is always helpful. Got a subscription so the kids can use it to continue to read whenever they want and purchase with discounts.

Clean, large selection, and friendly staff as well as being very well kept and organized. One of my favorite books-a-millions I've been too.

Great selection. Store is clean. Prices are slightly elevated compared to online retailers but that’s to be expected with brick and mortar. Enjoyed browsing non-book items.

New design layout is not labeled yet and staff is also learning new layout. Last no Joe Muggs.... seems books a million forgot how to market there items and store. Magazine, what a mess.... if it is not a home or sport magazine forget trying to find in new arrangement and area which is an eighth of previous selection. Spent an hour walking arou dtrying to find things then just gave up as staff were not knowledgeable, so went back to old reliable.... which I hate to say... Amazon to find the various books and magazines... the store does look amazing and very clean... maybe have a copy of layout for guest would be helpful...

Great selection, pretty clean, weird lighting so if you are sensitive it isn't a great store to stay in a long time.

I love that we still have this store. As a teen I loved going to Books a Million so it's nice seeing my own kiddo enjoy it. The store is clean well organized and the staff is so nice. Our book collection continues to grow! :-)

My wife and I have been books-a-million members for several years, and we always enjoy coming here. They have a great selection, the staff is always courteous, and the atmosphere of a good book store is unbeatable. I read roughly 30-60 books a year, and I usually find them here.
