Horrible. All entry doors and parking gates are broken and have been for over a month. The elevator is not working. Very unsafe environment and management says they are looking for cheaper quotes to complete repairs. Entry doors are propped open with bricks so anyone can gain access to units. Management is incompetent and extremely rude. Avoid this complex.

I found a listing on Apartment List for an apartment within my price range that was available on November 21, which was perfect because I intended to leave my current apartment by the end of November. I expressed interest in the unit and received an email response. I then scheduled a viewing for today at 1:00 p.m. When I arrived, the door to the leasing center was locked. A few moments later, a man also arrived and noticed that the door was locked. After a few minutes, he was able to access the leasing center and I followed behind. I was greeted by the manager, who I believe is the woman that some reviewers have complained about. She was polite and explained that the gentleman who would conduct the viewing would be out shortly. Based on my past experiences, I usually expect to be greeted by the person conducting the viewing, so I found it strange that he didn't ask for my name or shake my hand when he walked towards the door. I thought he was coming to greet me, but all he said was, "I'll be with you shortly." He then asked for my ID and which unit I was interested in. When I mentioned the unit, he informed me that those units would only be available for immediate move-in and that they cannot hold any units for anyone. This confused me because the listing indicated the unit would be available on November 21, but I was unable to view the unit. I was told that the information on third-party apps is inaccurate and that anyone looking for an available apartment should visit the actual site. However, third-party apps receive this information from the leasing office, so if they aren't updating their apps in time, perhaps the complex should stop using those apps to avoid misleading people and wasting their time and money. This is just some feedback for the complex. Perhaps they should hire employees who are more personable and welcoming. I think the employee who gave me the tour is nice, but he seemed like he was over the day before it had even started. After reading the reviews, I have decided not to pursue this apartment.

Love living here! Been here since August of 23, my only issue that can potentially be resolved is the parking situation, its impossible to have guests come over in the spur-of-the-moment due to the parking pass situation. Would highly recommend they switch to a different more convenient system to accommodate tenants/guest.

I love living here. Best place I’ve stayed at my entire 12 years in Atlanta. In the city but still out the way in a quiet area. The team here is great. They are friendly, professional, and personable. Maintenance gets things handled quickly. All the amenities are great. I feel safe & home really is peace for me. I’m grateful to live here.

After a few months of living here Ive decided to write an honest review. Positives: -Edward has been the absolute best! He helped me throughout the application process, touring, and went out of his way to offer me a better apartment and deal at the last minute. -The other staff is very friendly and always greets me and stops to chat. Antione is so nice and asks me if I need anything. I’ve never had an issue with the maintenance crew, as they always greet me and finish requests the next day. For example, my washing machine was leaking when I first moved in, and I was given a brand new machine a few days later. -I’ve immediately noticed changes with the new property manager. Carolann is very friendly and professional. I even see her walk the property herself and it appears that she is taking note of what needs to be done. -The walls seem to be pretty thick. I occasionally hear my upstairs neighbor, but for the most part I don’t hear any noise. -Trash is picked up around 10:30pm Sunday-Thursday from your front door. Negatives: -The parking situations could be worked on. Guests need a pass to park inside the gates. If a car does not have a residence sticker they will be booted. When my friends or parents visit, we have to search for a spot for them to park on the street, and there is not always one available. Some people host parties and have one guy take all the parking spots that are open so he can give them to others. -The doors and gates do not shut completely. Some doors need to be forced closed and not everyone will make sure to do that. Car gates will have a gap that someone can slip through, and sometimes the gates do not close at all. This is a safety issue. -While I don’t hear sound through my walls, the hallways can get very loud. Most of the sound comes through the front door. Some residents blast their music and you can hear it very clearly when you walk by or are in your kitchen which is closest to the front door. -this isn’t the properties fault, but residents do not pick up after their dogs. My doorbell camera has caught residents letting their dogs poop INSIDE the hallways, once it was right in front of my door. They also leave it on the grass where people need to step to get out of their cars. It’s really disgusting and they should be fined for not picking it up. Overall, my experience has been more positive than negative so I am leaving 4 stars! I’m looking forward to staying here for a while and seeing the changes

I moved here 2 months ago. Since there the property management has shown some improvement in taking care of the common areas and security. And Raymon personally has helped me addressing my concerns and issues.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! Been here for seven years. Love it when I first move here. Property mgr was great . Had a great concern for the residents. Since I’ve been at this property, there has been 5 different property mgr. This current mgr Claudia Ruiz hands down is the worst. She is very rude, not friendly, short with her words. She handles residents as if she is paying your rent ( Rent Free) N you’re bothering her. Correction …. I pay 2300 month For 2/1. Along with trash 25…00 Ooh Now for the first year. 50.00 a/month for the washer and dryer in the unit. . pest control, mail/ locker room. Etc. The building/ architecture itself is nice. My apartment unit is nice. It’s a gated community which I loved, Not to mention the area is great. However, things have change. There’s a safety concern. The units are being used for Airbnb, which they are aware of. Security Gates / doors have been inoperable for a month now.. I’ve complained sent e-mail.. called corporate First Communities, Left messages. No call back from First Communities. Still not fixed./ resolve. THEY DO NOT CARE……. Find a property that cares and is concern about residents. I am in the process of purchasing. If I could break my lease right now I would.

Prospective tenant beware! I'm writing this review at 5:09 pm on August 28, 2023. This community used to be well kept and nice to live in. It is a perfect location to access all of what Atlanta has to offer. However, since First Communities took over last summer it has gone downhill. It takes maintenance anywhere from 4-6 weeks to resolve an issue. The office staff, Claudia and Saul are rude and condescending and could care less about customer service. Edward is pleasant and tries his best to be helpful. There was an issue with my rent payment back in March, I asked Saul about it several times and he lied to me saying there wasn't any issue with the overpayment. It took almost two weeks before he finally adjusted the credit, but only after I reached out to upper management. Management recently started charging a $50 appliance fee for the washer and dryers without replacing/upgrading to new washer and dryer appliances. When I asked Saul about these charges, he stated that "the property was looking for ways to make more money." A scam! Valet trash is a joke! Trash is supposed to be picked up on Sunday nights- Thursday nights. Last week, valet trash only came twice, Tuesday night and Thursday night. The service also did not come last night. So as you can see in the pictures attached, trash is still sitting out in the hallway, which not only looks bad but it smells bad in this Georgia heat. To this day, there has been no communication from management regarding this issue. Residents are allowed to leave dog poop and their trash in the hallway and stairway. The gates are always broken and as you can see whenever it rains there is a leak in the hallway near the staircase that has yet to be fixed. There is a door that is broken in building 1, and a part is hanging down that is dangerous. There is nothing "luxury" about this apartment community. I would not recommend this property or any other property from First Community.

I have lived here for over 3 years and each year we have had new management, so that has drastically affected my living experience when a new company takes over. The current management seems to be much more competent than the last one, and I am hopeful that they will turn this place around. There have been many maintenance issues with this complex and you have to stay on top of maintenance to get them resolved, but overall I am satisfied with living here. There is always room for improvement, but my experience has been decent.

Edward was extremely helpful with tour, unit selection, and application process. The new manager is also very sharp and friendly. The facilities are well maintained and the units are in good shape, recently built, with modern appliances. The elevators are a bonus in this price range. Truthfully, you won’t find nicer two bed two bath units in this area… I checked. 25 minute work commute with moderate traffic to Lenox road offices. Less if you leave around 7:45 or so. Credit screening and background check was not a problem with ‘good’ Experian score and gross income around 3.5 x rent. I think the negative google reviews should be taken with a grain of salt. I am looking forward to my stay and will update if this review anything grossly negative comes up. Hope this helps any curious future tenants.
