Liz and her team are AMAZING! I had the deviled eggs as a appetizer and the Southern Friend Chicken as my entree. Don’t walk, RUN to the Atkins ParkRestaurant and tell them I sent you! If you want dessert order the Apple Cobbler. Homemade food! 6+ stars😎

Just want to say a massive thank you to Atkins park! I recently hosted a small event and they couldn’t have been nicer or more hospitable. As always the tenders and drinks were wonderful. Thank you Atkins Park!

Great menu with lots of options! I've had everything from the local trout to the open faced meatloaf sandwich to the fried chicken. Everything has always tasted fantastic, the food comes out fast, and the drinks are cold. Marshall is the man -- we will see ya next time man!

I’ve only been to Atkins Park for brunch BUT I’ve been repeatedly and it is always perfect. The atmosphere is relaxed and easy and the food is delicious. This is not your average bar food… Every dish or snack I’ve had has been amazing. The salmon and burger stand out for sure!

An ATL Staple! The nachos are some of the best I’ve ever had! The food here definitely isn’t your typical bar food quality. I have never had a thing here I don’t like. Highlights other than the nachos include the confit wings with the chili garlic sauce, Guinness dipped pretzels (served with spicy mustard and pimento cheese), bacon wrapped dates, and boiled peanuts. Lively Thursday night football crowd. The beer list changes often featuring seasonal options and a variety of local beers! Great place for a snack and a beer or a full meal!

Delicious food, get the wings if you want wings, salmon and salad if you want to get something healthy, and the fried chicken sandwich was a hit at the table. Drinks are strong and beer is delicious. Thank you to Will, our server, for an amazing night!!

We picked the wrong day to come here. We went here during Porchfest...we had been out all day doing excursions. We tried to go to one bar that was on a list...and I'm going to age myself... but it was packed...and didn't realize that teenagers...maybe early college (?) would be roaming the streets. We hadn't eaten all day and were ready to splurge so we found a place that appeared to have available seating. The wait time for any service was really long....which surprised me because they seemed to be not as busy on the restaurant end and fully staffed. Because of the atmosphere we ended up just getting boxes and leaving. We aren't from the area... or state...and didn't realize what kind of area we were on this night. The blackberry smoke drink was nice but also booze heavy. It might be worth a go at a different time... the food was great.

We brought our youngest son here for his 19th birthday lunch. I searched a couple of restaurants and this was his pick. We were all very pleased with the food and service. Gage our service was attentive and very friendly. The food was amazing. This was our first time but definitely not the last. I highly recommend it.

A great place for Sunday brunch. They did well accommodating our party with a baby, a child, and four adults. The food was inventive and quite tasty. Service was friendly, accurate, and efficient. Parking was a minor challenge. Finding the restrooms is somewhat of a rat maze, but doable. The atmosphere was a little noisy. It wouldn't take much effort to talk me into going back.

Cute little neighborhood eatery with bomb steak nachos. The trout is very good too, and the sliders are something to write home about. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed! I even left my phone there once and the nice waiter Blake saved it for me, he was a life saver!

Stopped in on a Friday afternoon for dinner and drinks before a show. Excellent wings and beer to start off with. My crew got a few burgers which were also excellent. Our particular server was a little cocky and didn’t write down our orders resulting in some incorrect items but we managed to get it sorted out. They did a very neat toast at 6pm where we got a shot on the house. We were offered the options of fireball, tequila or a vodka lemonade situation. The lady in charge gave her spiel about upcoming events and raised a toast. It was a first for me personally and a nice touch to the charm of the building.

We left the dining room last week without eating because of the manager. He cost the place a tab of at least $500 bc there were four of us. The wife and I have lived in this neighborhood and eaten here for at least 15 years and won’t ever be back. It’s basically a fraternity house in there. AP should get him to clean himself up and look the part of a GM. When we left thru the back courtyard, there was a table of people who claim to be the managers friends rolling blunts and openly smoking weed. Great place to take a group from out of town…..NOT. it wasn’t even 9 pm 🙄

Our server did a good job and had a great attitude despite it being Christmas Eve and having to work (the entire staff was friendly for that matter). Everyone really liked what they ordered. I tried the brussel sprouts appetizer, and had the steak salad for my entree. Both had an appealing presentation and were delicious.

I want to love this place as it’s in my neighborhood. Some dishes are decent, but definitely Don’t get the Fried Chicken. I ordered it recently on a Sunday night. Whomever, was cooking that night (won’t call them a “chef”), decided to glue two chicken wings together with breading and over fry it to pass as a chicken breast! It was Not a Fried Chicken Breast as described on the menu. Shame on whomever was cooking for being deceptive and lazy. Not to mention I got food poisoning that night.

Awesome bar and restaurant with delicious food. Good prices and great service. Great place for lunch or late night hours. Southern Fried Chicken entree was amazing. I didn't want to stop eating, but I had cleaned the plate. Garlic green beans and velvety mac n cheese were perfect compliments to the juicy fried chicken. Definitely coming back. You'll leave full and not break the bank. 10/10. Dine in was available as of time of writing.

Awesome neighborhood spot to hang out and decompress after work, their servers are always very friendly and helpful with what’s on the menu. Have always enjoyed their burgers and wings! The restrooms can be cleaner though but great spot with a laid back vibe!

I had the best grilled cheese & tomato soup of my life at this establishment, which you wouldn't expect from a place like this. Beside that brief call out, this is a place that definitely has a bar feel, day and night. Night time and on the weekends gets pretty packed as this is a heavy foot traffic strip in Virginia Highlands where bar hopping occurs. During the day, you shouldn't have an issue getting a table. Parking is behind the strip or in the pay for parking lot. Do not park on side streets in neighborhood, as you will be ticketed.

3.7 | solid meal and great service! ordered steak frites and a G&T [w. Hendricks]. solid meal, satisfying, and quick service. I could see myself treating myself to this simple yet solid meal every other month on a Friday night by myself, just because. I can’t vouch for their nachos or food that seem a bit less “new American” but I would come back and order exactly what I had. the steak was medium rare and I rlly enjoyed the garlic sauce on the arugula.

OK place place to eat. I gas the salmon BLT. The bread was every buttery. The dumplings were not that good and were rather watery. Could have been much thicker. Would te going to if you live nearby but am not sure I would go out if my way to eat here. They might have better things on the menu

Wow. Came here for the first time about 7:00 on a Saturday evening. The place was lively. Called ahead for a reservation and it was ready when we arrived. Had chicken tenders and what other reviewers say about them is absolutely true. I do not normally eat chicken tenders but these looked so good in the pictures that I had to try them, and they were absolutely fantastic. Split these with my companion, and then we split two fried chicken tacos. Simply amazing, and we got them with a side of queso blanco and even that was fantastic. Had drinks but also got a sweet tea which was incredibly good. Our server Cooper was fast, helpful, attentive, lively, and just a cool guy overall. A nice bonus is that even with two alcoholic drinks, a tea, and plenty of food, the total bill was $55. So, if you didn't get any alcohol you could easily eat here for $15-$20 per person. It is hard to find a good sit down place with amazing food in this range but they have it here. There's not much else to say really, everything was about as perfect as it could be. Will definitely return soon. Highly recommended.

I have been going to AP since i was very little and the food continues to be one of my favorites in the VAHI neighborhood. The people are so sweet, and make you feel so loved and appreciated. Also highly recommend the chicken sliders, best deal ive seen in a minute, and they are amazing with a side of fresh jalapeños.

1st time here. I like to try new places and the menu looked good so I went. The drink was water down. I didn't feel a buzz at all. But the food was on point. I'd eat here again, just won't order a drink.

Fun, casual, dining experience. Nice and easy weekday date night. Made a reservation, but was not crowded. The restaurant and bar are separated by a wall down the center run of the building. You can stop in for a drink before or after dinner easily.

Soooo... My date and I just so happened to stumble across this establishment! (We was simply look for a good place to eat) We walked in on the bar side.(yes it's two sides to the restaurant) It was very lively! We sat ourselves and immediately waters was placed on our table! Our server was Ashley and she was absolutely wonderful! Her references were spot on and she answered all of our questions with a smile! A total sweetheart! I don't know whether I had an Ale or Cider but it was delicious! My date had a drink that was compared to a Sweetwater beer! My date ordered The Deviled Eggs, The Big Green Egg Wings and I ordered The Pan Sautéed Georgia Trout! Baby when I tell you the mashed potatoes was to die for! Wooo chile! Everything was great! I truly enjoyed myself and so did my date! I can't wait to have brunch here with the girls!!!

Atkins Park bar is awesome but I wish they had some more vegan options on the menu. I am not sure why they refuse to put an impossible or beyond burger on the menu. I used to eat meat and they have the best chicken fingers ever.

Fun night out with friends and the best chicken and dumplings that I may have ever eaten. But there's really not many dumplings but this stock will have you turning your bowl up to drink every drop. Super cocktails.

One of my new favorite restaurants in Atlanta!! I don’t know what was better…the incredible food we ate or the amazing friends we made. Back story: My parents came to visit me from Louisiana, and we decided to eat here on a whim. We immediately felt at home when we walked in the door of Atkins Park. We were told the chef was from Louisiana, and we asked if we could meet him. A moment later, Chef Rusty came out and spoke with us for no less than 15 full minutes making us feel like we were the only patrons in the restaurant. Afterwards, he went back to the kitchen to grab a cup of his famous gumbo and some spectacular fried green tomatoes for us to try—very kind gestures from our new friend, Chef Rusty. Each of our entrees exceeded expectations and were only outdone by the service provided by the staff. In a time where restaurants have more reasons to do less than ever before, the folks at Atkins Park go the extra mile!!

Great atmosphere, usually busy but all the bartenders are helpful and try to get to you as quick as they can. Food is pretty good as well if you're hungry!

  • 1/5 Saed 1 year ago on Google
Imagine spending $70 for two and leaving the restaurant hungry. The steak frites is 5 thin slices of low quality flank steak with fries for $22. I would not recommend this place for the dining experience. As usual it's all hype and no substance.

Stopped in here to find some late night food. The wings with Atkins Park sause are so good. Even the salad was on point. If you stop in ask for Noah he went above and beyond.

Came here for late night dinner after a concert. Showed up at 12:30am, thirty mins before the grill closed. The staff sat us and took really good care of us. Hate I forgot our waitress name but she was great. Had blackened chicken nachos, tacos snd chicken tenders. Plus beer. Enjoyed it all

Came here after a long photo shoot and everything else was closed. Genuinely shocked that a prime rib sandwich at a bar after 10 pm was so good. Our bartender Noah made us a fine and spicy bloody mary to go with, the sports crowd wasn't obnoxious and the folks playing the jukebox had good taste. I'll be back next time I'm in town

  • 5/5 Ricardo H. 1 year ago on Google
Had a great time Food was wonderful and the staff was accommodating and cheerful. My bar tender talked to me like I was a special need toddler. Which was awesome. Everything I ordered, she was like, “ That was such a great choice!” And I was @m”yeah, I make good choices.”
