I asked to taste out the stout they had, got a good one, ordered it and received an IPA🤦 Othen than this minor glitch they had nice drafts. Portion sizes in food were also good. The outside area is beautiful. However, less heaters relative to the amount of seats they had outside.

Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall was a pleasant surprise. Located off the Belt Line in Atlanta is a great stop if you are on the path. This was selected for a family gathering. Seating is first come first serve help yourself. For large groups this could be challenging. There is plenty of seating and people cycle through fairly quickly. For driving to this location, it is tucked into a residential neighborhood and wouldn’t be easily seen unless you know about it. One way and narrow streets lead to the restaurant. There is valet parking available and recommended to make it easy for parking. $7 for the valet is reasonable in my opinion. You may need to stand in a lengthy line to order your food depending on the day and time you go. We got our seats first and viewed the menu as we awaited our other guests. The restaurant has a cool industrial adaptive-reuse vibe to it. There is indoor and outdoor seating, the place is pet friendly and welcoming. The food was good and even when busy the food was prepared fairly quickly. They have water coolers located all around for supporting the Belt Line users. There is a cutoff time for the French toast so make sure you get there before 4pm for that. I had the Nashville Wings. The chicken sandwich with fries is good and the double stack cheeseburger is also a good choice. The quinoa salad was a good healthy choice. All the food was delicious. I would go again and recommend Ladybird for an outing. Thumbs up.

I went to this restaurant for a Sunday brunch and here is the experience based on my visit - Ambiance - 3/5: Not the best ambiance. I think they wanted to go for a funky hip restaurant vibe that I didn't like. It does not look like a very trendy place. This could also be because we were there right when the restaurant opened for the day and they were still prepping some things. Since it was also raining, I could have added to the overall aesthetic but I was not a fan. They also have benches to sit on like in an old-fashioned eatery which some people might like but wasn't something I was a fan of. - Service 3/5: The service was quick and I think they made it fresh since they had just opened. FYI, It is a self-serve so you will have to go to the counter to get your food and they will not come there to give it to you. They take your name and number so you might even get a text in case you are sitting far. Also, no one serves you water. There is a can and you have to go there and get water. The cups are really small so get ready to have frequent trips in case you are thirsty or have ordered something spicy. - Food: 2/5: A few things to note. They have a brunch menu but can also serve you sandwiches if requested. Before I review the food, here are a few things you should know a) There burgers are costly and do NOT come with fries. b) They did not have coffee as their machine was broken. c) Their fries cost you $5 in addition to the chicken sandwich if you want them Now coming to the taste: 1) Fried chicken sandwich - This was not the best. The bun was weird-tasting and torn from the side. They added the BBQ sauce even when I asked to remove it. It was greasy and without any greens. I had to order fries separately that were not well done even when I asked for them. 2) Avocado Toast: My partner ordered it. She liked the combination of feta cheese on it but was appalled to see only ONE slice for $12. Also, you need to shell out another $2 for eggs over it. - Value for money 2/5: As noted above, everything felt overpriced for the food and the taste you were paying for. Overall I think this place was overpriced and I do not see the value here. There are better restaurants which will give you better value and IMO, we can avoid this place. Also to add, the location is congested with very few parking and you will have to shell out extra money for valet here

GREAT FOOD, not so great environment/indoor atmosphere. The outdoor seating area is great. Very open with plenty of tables and benches. Even an outdoor bar. Dogs welcome outdoors as well. Tried the brisket fries, collard greens and macaroni and cheese. Soooo good!

Ladybird is obviously a go to spot for happy hours or drinks in general on the Beltline. You can never go wrong going here. The food was also great but maybe I just had too high of expectations, but it could’ve been just slightly better to earn that fifth star. Still a solid choice and you already know we’ll always stop by when on the Beltline.

Love this spot for drinks and for brunch! There a a great outdoor seating area for large or small groups, and a nice smaller indoor seating area for colder weather. I went for brunch and got the breakfast plate and mimosa and I loved both! The mimosas were strong and I loved the grits, bacon, and eggs from the platter! Will definitely be back to try the bacon egg and cheese biscuit.

Nice little spot right off the belt line. Stopped in real quick for a couple drinks and to check the place out. The service was alright but the place on the inside was beyond packed.. Took a pretty long time to get our drinks which is a part of the reason we didn’t stick around to long. Was still worth the stop and I’m sure they have some good food. Plenty of space outside which helps with how busy it gets around the bar. I would give the place another chance but probably not on a Saturday night hahah!

We had a rough Atlanta culinary weekend. We stayed downtown near the convention center and...yuck. this was the southern gem I was hoping on. And we loved the bike path it's on. Highlight of our trip. Wanna find the cool neighborhoods and good food get out of downtown.

Ladybird is a great outdoor spot to visit when it’s nice outside. I love the variety of drinks and available. Make sure you ask about the amount of alcohol in each of the drinks, as they may hit you by surprise. The food here is also pretty tasty. I’m not much of a shrimp and grits person, but liked the one here!

Customer service was good..Food came out really quick..Food was good..The potato salad and coleslaw needs work. Drink was definitely on point. Dogs are welcomed at this outside restaurant. It's right on the belt line. Overall I would definitely revisit.

We spent all day bar and restaurant hopping on the BeltLine, and this was our favorite stop. You’ve gotta get the adult cocktail pouch - which they call Patio Pouch - even though it’s a little expensive. Strong and worth it! We only had a little snack, but it was this amazing street corn side dish. Can’t wait to visit again when we’re back in town!

26Aug2023. My wife and I shared a BBQ brisket fries. The jalapeños were great, as well as the brisket, itself. My only problem was the shoestring fries. They didn't hold up well with the brisket, cheese, and peppers. By the time we got 2 or 3 bites into the dish, the fries were already cold and hard. The counter service was excellent. The atmosphere was great. Card only!

Tasty drinks and snacks with a great open patio overlooking the Beltline, but overpriced. We got 2 drinks and an appetizer for $44. Fun place, but would probably not go again, considering how many other bars there are to choose from in the area.

This is the best place to have some chill bites and great drinks!! The Capri-sun style alc drinks are so tasty and pretty strong - blueberry gin is my favorite! Definitely recommend the bbq fries and smoked chicken fritters are great to share (a bit pricey though). Plenty of room to sit at the picnic tables even with bigger groups. The ambiance is great and beltline runs right past it.

My new favorite brunch spot! The food was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was also fantastic. It’s a great spot for people watching along the Beltline. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items on their menu.

Nice spot on the beltline. Lots of seating outside, good amount inside if preferred. I ordered the Nashville wings & a side of macaroni for my meal and a Flower Pepper cocktail, which mainly tasted like beer instead of liquor. I have no complaints about the food. You either leave your tab open, or close it after transaction, which isn't a bad thing. However, i don't like the fact of paying for my food before receiving it, because what if i had a complaint, which i didn't, but still. Overall, i will visit again to try order things on the menu. Oh & the brownie was delicious!

This is a nice spot on the beltline if you want to sit outside and have a casual dinner and drinks! The ambiance is so beautiful! The lights, the music and every little detail about this place is so beautiful. Ordered their popular chicken burger and loved it! There are two things you need to remember before going there, the restrooms are outside in the trailers and there is limited seating inside. Hence when it rains it can get really crowded.

Really cool space. The food is delicious and the drinks are fun. Good spot to go for people watching and soaking up the nice weather. Only drawback is everyone knows the good news on ladybird so just be ready to look for table.

Ladybird is on the Beltline and has a nice atmosphere! I went with a group right when they opened at 11:00 on a Sunday morning, so we easily got a table. I came here one time before a couple years ago, and I believe they used to have sit-down service, but now you order at a counter and get a number. I find this efficient and didn’t have any issues with it, but I was thrown off when the person at the register asked if I wanted to leave $3 for the staff with my $12 avocado toast order. I am never a stingy tipper, but I thought it was weird to be pressured into tipping 25%, especially without full sit-down service. My friends felt similarly, and we all agreed that it would be more appropriate for them to let customers privately select their tip like at other restaurants. While my avocado toast was good, it was a very small portion for the $16 I paid (including tax), and I was hungry an hour later. If I return, it will be for the location and not the food.

Food was delicious, no crowd, so seating and parking were perfect and the noise level was low. We had the bacon, egg, & cheese biscuit, shrimp and grits, and French toast. We took a brief walk afterwards. It's a great spot on the Beltline! Perfect for friends, date, solo, etc. Ppl bring their dogs and sit outside, so you could meet some fellow pet parents as well.

Came here for quick brunch after walking the Beltline. You place an order and then they give you a number. Very efficient, and the food comes out quick. Portion size might be a tad small, but the food is GOOD. Had the spiked apple cider as well, and it was DELIGHTFUL! Will be back for more

my boyfriend and I came here together on New Year’s Day. Both of us like laid back restaurants and this was perfect. Staff were attentive and relaxed and not the type that check on you 24/7 which we both really liked. Bbq is so good here, and this time around I snapped a picture so I figured I’d write a review since each experience here has been positive. We will be back. Really love this place & how unique it is. Oh and also, the BEST BEANS! I love baked beans and the beans that came with the pulled pork plate as my side were amazing. Almost like a chili. Seriously, I wish I could eat those every day. Forced my boyfriend to try them as well (not a bean person) and he couldn’t get over how good they were either 😂 Great spot, great food, will be back again 🫶🏽

I want to start off saying you order and pick up your own meal so there was no service but it’s frustrating that if you need anything else after you get your food your kind of screwed. The food was okay, nothing spectacular but nothing to brag about. We had a vodka lemonade juice pouch that was super sour but we probably wont be back. Mess halls aren’t for me.

The food is great. The prices are fair but the most enjoyable part is the atmosphere and that it's connected to.the beltway. You can eat then take a long walk.

This is a review from my sister. “ The meat was definitely tender, the actual brisket meat was good but the sauce was too savory and smokey and not really sweet enough and the tamarind flavor was too strong. It’s also a shame there weren’t more sauce options besides just this one. The pickles were great, very crunchy and seasoned. The mac and cheese was okay but not cooked very well and the sauce itself tasted more like white queso sauce. And the food was all lukewarm. I was a little disappointed. My date ordered wings that were pretty good but his fries were so soggy and unsalted. I liked the flavor of the blue cheese sauce that went on the fries but the texture was too thin and not thick and creamy like I expected. It felt like a place that’s trying to do trendy BBQ. But I’ve been to much better hole in the wall placed in GA for BBQ.”

Had the smoked Nashville Hot chicken wings and wife had the peach salad. We both loved our food and was a great place to hang out late morning along the beltline !

Great place to sit outside and enjoy a beautiful day. Small menu but good. Atmosphere is awesome. Service was really good. There was a small group in front of us in the ordering line who was struggling to decide and the staff was really kind and patient with them, above and beyond. Showed us that they have some awesome humans working there. The food was good too. Very comfortable space.

This campfire & lodge themed bar and restaurant is a popping place to go to in Atlanta! We went on a weekend night and had a great time sitting at the picnic tables sipping on mixed drinks. There is plenty of seating inside and on their patio. Ladybird offers an extensive menu with items like smoked salmon dip, a variety of smoked meats, chicken sandwiches, delicious mac & cheese, and more. They even offer brunch items on the weekend!

Very nice spot on the belt line. Beers are great as well as food verities. We sat outside and there was live music. The entire place a very welcoming and prices are reasonable. There is no server- reservation made at the entrance and you get SMS when the food is ready.

I love Ladybird. They have a lot of beer on tap here, and a lot of space to hang out. The food is delicious, too. I got the chicken biscuit which was pretty good. I loved the chicken fritters with the pepper jelly and pimento cheese. The okra was really good. The crab dip was solid, and I liked the chips that came with it.

Super friendly service! Patio Punches are bomb. I ordered the Nashville wings and it was so much food- came with fries, bread, whole wings and a pickle, cauliflower and pepper arrangement. The pickle, cauliflower and pepper arrangement was amazing and I'm not a cauliflower eater at all. Wings were good, too. Enough food to last! I'll be visiting again.

Great is always great ! Patio punch lemonade was so good . Patio has two areas one more secluded from the belt line and also the other side you can overlook the belt line . The staff was very informative and so nice . Last but not least the wait for the food was very quick, by the time we got our drinks and had a seat food was on the table .

Most amazing fried chicken sandwich we’ve tried, what made it outstanding was the pimiento cheese. the pastrami brisket sandwich was also amazing but not quite as good as the fresh chicken.

Stopped here after some scooter riding in the Atlanta belt. Good spot that’s very dog friendly with plenty of options to eat. Their avocado toast with eggs was delicious. Not to mentioned they had a nice blonde beer to accompany. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

The atmosphere was very cute and it was convenient that it is located right off the Beltline. The food, however was just alright, but it was a cute presentation! I have heard that brunch has a better selection, so I would try that if it is available! The drinks were also a bit pricey and in very small quantity.
