Off the beaten path. Great experience!!! The food was excellent. We had the spicy shrimp and duck leg for an appetizer and lamb chops for the main course with potatoes and spinach. Delicious!!!! If you're in Atlanta, this is a must to visit. Matt and his wife Katie were very nice and took us on a tour of the restaurant. No military discount, but they are strongly considering and knowing them, I bet our next visit they'll have it. The building has a special flair, that loft feel. Great prices too. Our hostess was amazing, too; ask for Selecia, just a sweetheart.

The food is still really good... and I mean really good! The ambience is grown and sexy without being too much. Smart casual is the dress code with a touch of extra of that's what you're feeling. The staff are friendly and overall it's a great experience with hookah to boot. So if you're not into hookah while eating, no worries. The hookah lounge is on a different floor. Enjoy!

The vibe was nice, but it was extremely cold inside. I didn't care for the smoke smell. For the appetizers we had, Duck leg Confit & Carb Risotto Croquettes. I had the blacken salmon with pasta, which was salty. It had more onions than pasta. My husband had Bakhtiyari kabob with Basmati rice. The dessert was delicious. We had Persian Doughnuts.

Came here while in town for business. Had a reservation and was seated in the upper area. Love the ambiance, the music and Dr. David was fantastic. He was so friendly and such a great personality. We order the special hookah he said was his recipe and it was fabulous. The spicy shrimp was the best…those flavors were just amazing. Everything was good but we would come back because Dr. David knows how to make the customers feel great!

I came here to have brunch to celebrate my birthday & I loved it. The food was good, it was a nice atmosphere. It wasn’t crowded at all & we came in a Sunday. I would definitely come back. Everything we ordered was good, even the drinks!

Beautiful ambience and EXCELLENT food. Everything was tasty. Our favorites were the duck leg confit and lamb shank! I especially appreciated their sides, the cauliflower w/ roasted pine nuts was amazing and filling with a LEMONY/ citrus kick! We sat in the dinning area, but next time I’ll be visiting the roof top!

I absolutely love Divan! I have been eating here for at least 13 years. They NEVER disappoint! I do miss the low tables at the old house.. but the new location suits them very well. Lamb chops, spinach and basmati rice💕 is my favorite. Drinks are great! Service is great! Jenna my server was outstanding! She’s young but very attentive, pays attention to detail, she’s poised, and very sweet. Recently had a birthday dinner (1/15/22) & not one complaint! I love them! I stamp Divan Atl💙💙 definitely a must try! -Rachel California💕

First time visit, and WOW! Delicious food, very cool atmosphere and building, and the servers were spot on. The only improvement could be the greeting hostess need professional training (uniforms and etiquette) to bring their service to the high quality of the restaurant.

Great location and interior design, amazing food and drinks, grown & sexy dinner vibes. Love the 3rd floor area, very intimate setup, great for date nights. 4 stars because they don't have knafeh on their dessert menu (truly disappointed) and the their signature drinks were served in regular glasses instead of cocktail glasses (disappointment #2).

Just left here for a birthday for myself and it was a 5 star experience from the food to the drinks & above all the service! The lamb chops are the best in the city. And the salmon was cooked to perfection and had soooo much flavor. Andrew was delightful he came a greeted us to make sure I was having a great bday & Angie & Shaina the bartenders made our drinks so pretty and tasty and they were very knowledgeable and seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. Above all the customer service was REMARKABLE don’t walk run here if you’re ever in ATL. Thank you guys for making my bday a birthday to remember!!!!

Apparently this is a popular place but I had never been. It was so worth it. All of the food was amazing. We had lamb on lamb on lamb 😅 I had the shank and although the look wasn’t super appealing to the eyes, it was wonderful to taste. Our server was great as well. No complaints, only that my cocktail was pretty weak, so I switched to wine.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. Not really kid friendly but perfect for a date night with food, drinks and hookah. The food is amazing. The lamb chops are my favorite and they are huge. Everybody loves the salmon pasta so you can’t go wrong with that either. Hookahs are reasonably priced. They still don’t have ketchup even though they have potatoes that need some type of sauce. Bring your own :) I also came one time and they were out of lamb but just make sure you check if that’s what you really want. Make sure you make reservations or be prepared to wait all night. I would have given 5 stars but they need a better way of managing the amount of traffic they have. One time valet was full and I had to park across the street and pay at Havana club and walk back. On multiple occasions I wanted to smoke hookah and couldn’t due to them not being able to accommodate even though I put it in the reservation and called ahead.

I came here to celebrate my birthday and I am highly satisfied with my decision. The atmosphere was giving me upscale eclectic vibes. We couldn't get seated until the entire party arrived, so the wait wasn't bad. The drinks were delicious! Kudos to the bartender. I tried their seasonal drinks, and OMG... I had to slow down because I had a long night ahead of me. The food was delicious and well seasoned. We didn't really like the Crab risotto croquettes. It wasn't giving what it was supposed to, so that's a non repeat dish for me. Our waitress was patient with us and answered all our questions. When she realized it was my bday, she brought out a glass of champagne for the table. That took my experience to the next level. I'll definitely return to try another dish

I haven’t been to Divan in a long time but I must say I forgot how amazing it was. Arkham, my server, was AMAZING!!! He gave great recommendations for food, drinks and he even whipped us up his special hookah combo. I HIGHLY recommend the scallops and the duck. The service, food, vibe is 10/10. I’ll definitely be coming here more often.

What a wonderful place for cocktails and excellent dining. Everything was amazing and delicious. Caleb our waiter was perfect. The new restaurant is in the historic Castle in Midtown, beautiful setting. We didn’t try the hookah upstairs but will come agai.n.

This is one of my favorite restaurant to link with my girls. The food is always amazing. I have never been disappointed eating here. on Sunday, I attended their brunch, for the first time, and was not disappointed. The salmon was well seasoned. The espresso martinis were chef kiss! The lovely bar manager came over and recommended the November special espresso martini. The bar raises every time I come here. Will be back, but I’m sure they know me by now lol. I’ve never not gotten great service here. And anytime there has ever been a slight concern with my food preparation, It was OVER correct by the management staff. 10 out of 10 will always recommend!

Ask for Arsham when you visit! His service was outstanding! This was my first time dining here and he suggested some great selections to choose from. I love coming to a restaurant where the waiters/waitresses can make great suggestions and it doesn’t disappoint. We were seated in the hookah lounge upstairs. The hookahs are definitely on point. The view from the rooftop was beautiful seeing as how it was night time. I would highly recommend 10/10.

Arsham was amazing! He gave us great recommendations like the tequila lemon drop YUM!! and we trusted him to make us a hookah of 8 different flavors that he came up with and it was a great smoke. He checked in on us, Love the ambiance. He was a phenomenal server and really made the night smooth! Food was made to perfection! I’ll be back!

Divan’s service, food, and cocktails are consistently great! I’ve been multiple times for dinner and hookah and enjoyed my visit each time. I came in to try their brunch menu and everything was sooo good and flavorful. I love the space because there’s so many levels, rooms and patio areas to enjoy. It gives a welcoming/comfy vibe. Perfect for large parties. I’ll definitely be returning!

I really enjoyed eating here! We sat at shared tables in a secluded room with dim lights and nice music. They offer hookah and STRONGGG drinks. I had the peach whiskey! The lamb kabob & lamb chops were delicious and I would definitely go back for the intimate setting. They had valet but I parked on the street for $2 a hour. Definitely a first date spot!

The Divan is a really nice and elegant restaurant, inside is like you are in a "modern castle"... the valet parking staff was friendly and helpful, the server was really nice too. Jose from the kitchen was sooo friendly and helpful with the menu! THE FOOD IS AMAZING! from appetizers to entrees to dessert all was really good. I highly recommend the salmon. It was perfectly cooked. We were inside in the second floor, would have wanted to be in the rooftop but it is only for 21 and older people and we had two teenagers. We would see young people going up and down the stairs to the rooftop. That didn't bother us so much but the one thing that was drilling my brain the whole time was the music, it was that one beat kind of music and it was just not of my taste. I still would go back for the food! And I still higly recommend it.

Birthday dinner. The host was super pleasant and kind. My server Mr. Positive was super knowledgeable and the drinks and menu. He made sure that my meal was enjoyable. Even the manager was super attentive and quickly responded to my concern. The atmosphere was super cool and enjoyable. Definitely a must visit again.

The restaurant seemed promising with its appealing aesthetics and speedy service, allowing us to secure a table promptly and receive our orders quickly. However, the food failed to meet our expectations. For starters, the oysters were passable but lacked freshness, while the crab croquettes were disappointingly dry with an overwhelming saltiness. Our main courses, consisting of a kebab dish and a lamb stew, didn't fare much better. The kebab was tough and lacked flavor beyond salt, while the stew had a good flavor profile but suffered from overcooked, dry meat that was difficult to swallow. The only highlight was the satisfactory rice. Overall, our dining experience fell short, and we won't be returning.

This new location is nice and has the same comfy feel of the previous one in Buckhead. It is 4 levels with various styles of seating. Restaurant seating, near seating, private rooms and outdoor seating. The food was great and I really enjoyed myself.

First time going, will definitely going back. The food was amazing from appetizers to the main course to desert. The service was so on point (knowledgeable about products responsive and accommodating). The drinks were amazing, get the Dragonfly (something like that) it was good. Our server was amazing. But the manager Andrew made the night and awesome experience, so appreciated his kindness and attention to detail. A Must Go To Spot if you havent been.

What a great find! The food was excellent, the space is really unique and the service was super friendly. It was really cold outside tonight so the restaurant felt especially warm and welcoming. Our main courses were perfectly prepared and beautifully composed. Highly recommended.

Kisha (Bar Manager) and Maya (server) exemplified the epitome of Southern hospitality. The service they provided was outstanding! I can't wait to return soon. We ordered the crab croquettes and hummus as appetizers, lamb chops & rice, duck, scallops, and potatoes. For drinks, we had the smokey peach old-fashioned, apple pie old fashion, passion knight, and a bottle of champagne.

My wife and I ate here one Saturday night after seeing a play at there Hertz Stage at the Woodruff Art Center. We arrived at 5:50 and were sat right away. We ordered wine and a gin and tonic. We ordered the hummus duo with tabouleh appetizer and it was incredible. I ordered the Bakhtiyari Kabob and the meat cooked perfect and it’s some of the best rice I’ve ever had. My wife got the chicken saffron kabob, both came with a cucumber yogurt sauce that was delicious. We also shared a side of the 6 spice potatoes. We went to this restaurant at its former location and the new location was very nice and perfectly located if you’re visiting the museum or seeing a show.

Updated. Valet gave me a bad experience upon arrival. But great customer service. Superb management for no reason at all. Gee, our server was absolutely amazing. Food was great. Duck appetizer was superb. Great view. Rooftop. Would come back. Great drinks. Great recommendations from the server. Thank you.

Beautiful location, amazing food, staff is so so… The music was not to my liking.. when vibing with hookah & drinks I usually want more modern or lyric based music playing (again my preference) but we had low playing instrumental music. I’m sure it’s intentional to distract certain crowds. Other than that, pretty descent place. Church them out.

Decided on this place for a girls night, and was not disappointed! The restaurant is so nice, and the food was great! Our waitress Tori was AMAZING! She explained the menu, and gave great recommendations. We sat outside and she did not forget about us. The food was great and the service was the cherry on top! Can’t wait to be back Update: back for the second time, food just as great. We had the stew and scallops this time and both dishes were amazing. Different server this time, but Shaina was absolutely amazing! She was amazing, also bartender for the night and never forgot about us, thank you shaina

Came here for my bday and I was shocked on how nice their new location is! It’s massive with 5 floors and the decor is stunning! Beautiful ambience! I usually get the the lamb chops and it’s a 10/10 dish! Their rice is soooo good! And the 6 spice potatoes!! My husband had their salmon pasta! Best spot in ATL!! Our waitress Stephanie was graceful and amazing! Valet was only $10! Some ATL spots be all hype but this place never disappoints!

After Dinner Tea Positives: Location (easy to get there). Tasty moktails drinks 🍺. Delicious sweet cakes 🍰. Delicious ice cream 🍨 . Tasty English tea ☕️. Helpful and friendly staff Lana Areas of Improvement: Non-comfortable dining tables. Spreading smelling of cooking 🥘. Limited car parking. Overpriced. Poorly communicating reception staff.

Wow! Where do I begin…. Such a STELLAR experience. Keisha has to be the best restaurant manager in Atlanta. From the time we sat down, she made sure our table had working lights, stopped in to check on the food once it hit the table, and brought my sister and the table champagne for a toast! Kayla was our server and she was kind, alert and helpful. 10/10! Every time I come to this restaurant it’s an amazing time. Thank you Keisha for your hospitality!

My first experience but will not be the last...We were walking to Colony Square for dinner but passed by here first. No need to go further plus it was in a perfect spot to head to a play at Alliance Theater afterwards...I had hummus, the ground beef and lamb kabobs...my friend had the mussels and lamp chops...the cocktail was refreshing but $16 for a martini that wasn't excellent...pass...the mgr stopped by and gave us dessert!!! Will return for sure!!

  • 5/5 Ann_Gee 2 years ago on Google
Listen to me!!! I've been here twice and every experience is nothing short of amazing. From the stellar service and warm atmosphere ...BUT THE FOOD IS AMAZING!! EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS! With the one mishap we had with our drink order.. we totally forgot by the end of the meal. Hookah was great as well... gummy bear was the best flavor so far. Only take away I will say is it is warm on the hookah side...add more ac to make it comfortable.

Divan is a wonderful spot, and our server Afshin was great!! We loved our dinner, and had a lovely time here. The food was delicious — we had the steak, chicken and they put together a vegetarian plate for us. We had the Persian donuts for dessert — so delicious! Would highly recommend this restaurant and Afshin :)
