They deserve zero stars!!! It was a horrible experience. First of all we were seated at a dirty table, had to get them to clean it up which they just used a wet paper napkin instead of a tile. I ordered a drink and the glass had a cracked in it. Asked the server if they can just make the drink over and not just pour it into another cup and they did that anyway. So I brought it to the server attention and you can see how angry the bartender was talking crazy about her having to make the drink back over and walking over to see who I was. The manager tried to make it right by apologizing and making my drink right after the bartender messed up two times but it was just too many errors. They also messed my kids orders up but I didn't even say nothing because it was just too much and I didn't even want to bother them anymore. The silverware was also dirty, had to ask for plastic utensils. We will not be back to this location ever again.

It took forever to get our food. Everything I had was overseasoned. My date's broccoli was undercooked. Even when they took it and brought it back. It was still so. The dessert and drink were only things that didn't disappoint. I left a tip only because my date asked me to. I'll never go back there.

I ordered two entrees and requested the curb side service. My food was to be ready at 6:15pm. I didn’t get my food until after 6:35pm. Both of my entree’s were either wrong or missing something. My food was dry and not very fresh as if it was made and was simply sitting. I had to call the store 2-3 times just to get someone to bring me my food. Was very disappointed in the appearance and taste of my food. Photos depict, what I ordered versus what I got. The disappointment. Hopefully, the next time will be way better.

The service here was great. Despite they were short-handed and only had one waitress our food came out hot and on time also our appetizers were hot and I had ordered a Drink of the month.

If I could give a zero I would. Im from Va and me and my lady wanted something to eat so we stop by this Applebee's. Before we walk in we see this sign that says something about COVID-19 strange. We walk inside and there is no one to greet us. So we wait for about 5 mins no one comes its not busy at all inside. We look at each other an say well we have to sit ourselves then. Bartender touching money and fixing drinks putting lemons 🍋 in drinks while touching money not washing her hands really. Have to do better. Pouring beer in a glass and trying to give it to a customer while the beer is running over. What kind of mess is that. All im trying to say is WHERE IS THE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE THESE DAYS.

Worst experience at Applebee's. Arrived to less than half crowd. Eventually greeted by out waiter who was new but really was not engaged. We could barely hear him talk. We ordered. 4 drinks and 4 meals. Menus never taken up. Silverware not provided until asked and even throughout the entire stay remained with plasticware. Appetizers served. Not great. Dinner served. Two meals with no sides. Took 10 minutes to get fries. No refills on drinks until we left. Bill was incorrect for Saturday special. Given 10 in credit. Manager cane out once and wanted to give a desert or drink to account for the poor service. Upon asking for a credit he did not return. No real apology just excuses of a new server and managers and cooks not on point. Again not sure I am going back to this Applebee's. We used to go here and I remember it much busier and better food and service.

Friendly waiter, good food, prices are fair. I ordered grilled chicken breast with mashed potatoes and broccoli - $10.99 ✅ tasted very good and came out super fast. I’ll come again.

Clean this place up or shut it down! This is my second time here since it is across the street from where I get my car serviced. The first time I went it was empty and both the customer service & food was horrible. I decided to give them a second chance today only to have the same experience. There’s a terrible stench from the moment you walk in the door. On top of that, they have several gnats that are swarming the bar area. I thought I was tripping because the last time I sat at the bar and it was like that. Today, the same exact thing. Additionally, the bartender was absent from their station and I sat there for 10 minutes without being acknowledged. From the horrible smell of mildew and filth at the front door, the disgusting gnats flying around inside, & the lack of acknowledgment when I came in, I won’t ever go back here.

Applebee’s was fantastic even on a Tuesday! Me and my friends had such a good time. Our waitress Alexes was so nice and gave us great drink recommendations. All in all great experience, definitely would come back.

No stars because we didn't even get waited on. Sat for about 20 minutes being ignored. It was not bust. At all. We were three of the 9 guests there. We were told to sit where we'd like. When we sat near the kitchen hoping to make it easy since we were close, and watched every employee walk to the doorway and look at us and quickly turn around. A lot of loud obnoxious yelling. We finally left. We'll Google made me give a star but they don't effing deserve it.

I was surprised to learn, that riblet's have replaced the slab of ribs.. However, I enjoyed the riblet's...I ordered spinach dip, which was delicious, but more is required.. Especially, if served w/ a lg. amt. of chips..Also, served w/ mashed potatoes. .Our waiter disappeared, just to get the basic condiment became a task..

Me and my family were super disappointed in service tonight. We were greated by a kind gentleman, but that was the only thing that was good. We did get seated fast, but after that, it went down hill. The appetizers were not good, and nor was our main course. And the service was worse. Both my husband and I were in food service and hospitality for over 5 years. So coming here and being treated with little to no respect was very disappointing. The server payed no attention to us, and had her head phones in the entire time. As a former server, I know what its like. We will NEVER come back to this location.

I have never been disappointed in Applebees then today! $20 and this is what I get??? Uggh… I could get better ribs at Sams Club on a Tuesday night! And they forgot my FF!! I’m done with you Applebees!!

A letter to Applebee’s, Please train your employees and pay them enough to care. First impression was the host with AirPods in chillin on their phone. Then sitting us at a table in the far back corner because there was already a high chair there and they didn’t have to move it. I can live with that. Order a couple drinks and food. Waiter honestly doesn’t seem to know anything on the menu and requires us to point to everything so they can write it down. But he was incredibly friendly, so I can live with that. Waiter comes back to let us know that they are out of both of our drink choices, and recommends the margarita. I can live with that. Margaritas come out, and I must say I’m honestly impressed. It honestly destroyed my expectations for the worst margarita I’ve ever had. Pretty sure the bartender added Half a shot of tequila and a single drop of margarita mix then topped it off with water, because that’s what it tasted like. Food was cooked with hair in it. !the server. She neglected the table a thousand times. Watched as we sat down took hours to bring the food and even more time waited to get a remake. Failed to add our drink orders in because she assumed we didn’t want it. Everytime she left it took a min for her to come back. It’s a crowd of unseated ppl at the door with empty tables everywhere. We sat ourselves. The bathroom is horrible like the drinks. I’m never coming back ! Ever

Not sure if it’s the area but it wasn’t a typical Applebees visit. It took forever to get seated because they fell behind on clearing tables. There were 2 waiters for the entire place so it was slow to get service. The waiter I had forgot that I ordered an appetizer. The restaurant was very loud which is expected on a Friday night but unwelcome nonetheless. They also handed out plastic silverware after we had our food for 10 minutes. But hey, the fries were good.

This Applebee's is suffering badly from the nationwide staffing shortage. The manager was tossed into the job with no training, and turnover of employees is so high there is no training of servers, either. It shows. We were fortunate. After waiting about 10 minutes to be even acknowledged, an unsmiling girl said she'd be right with us. She never returned. About 5 minutes later, a male server came and seated us in his section. He was the ONLY employee there who smiled or even indicated that he cared if we lived or died! Wow. So we lucked out that he noticed us and took care of us. Although the tables were clean, the floors were littered with paper trash, and the bathrooms were filthy and obviously not checked regularly, as 3 of the 4 stalls were stopped up. Nasty. Food was good, though. Doubt I'll go back there for a long, long time.

Very slow service. The second time we came, we had to wait for 2 hours to be seated. We never even got our drinks, while we saw various other people getting theirs. Some of the food was cold, too. The waiters in both instances were very sweet and were doing their best.

I must start off with saying that I am a regular at apples bees. The customer service is usually wonderful. Today I cannot speak for. My food took forever to come out, They are usually very prompt. And let’s not forget to mention the atmosphere. The staff is usually very welcoming but today I can hear the manager yelling and arguing with colleagues in the kitchen. The manager, then proceeded to come out and argue with the colleagues in the dining area. I am not sure of the managers name, but I can say that I do not usually see her there. I do not want to blame new management however, it seems as if since she’s been there my food comes out late. My bartenders continuously checked on our Food and not once. Did the manager come out and apologize. She sat on her phone in the dining room, the entire time. If this is what’s going to happen, I do not know if I will continue to be a regular.

AALIYAH, has given me the best experience ever at this location of Applebee's. She was triumphant and detail oriented with my order. She didn't miss a beat on nothing. It was the best customer service ever to be received at the Spring Street location of Applebee's. I will only want her as my server when I come here to eat. I will recommend her highly to anyone when they come to Applebee's at Spring Street, Smyrna, Ga as their server.

Horrible service. Me and my family, a party of 13, waited over 25 minutes to be seated. This was after I had to go find someone to seat us. ( No greeter) Then 35min later the waiter comes to the table for orders. 45 minutes later partial orders start coming out. No appetizers nor salads first. The children had cold fries and chicken. My wife never did get her food. The nachos were horrible with dry bits of chicken thrown onto some sort of old cheese. Nothing was up to standards. I was very disappointed and will never visit that location again. On a good note, the waiter was new and very apologetic. It was his second day on the job, but he was the more pleasant part of the experience.

I really like the atmosphere at this location. BRAVES photos everywhere! Usually a good crowd just about all weekend. Today they were a bit understaffed but our server Nate was exceptional. He was polite and accommodating in making our meals perfect. Checked on us frequently to ask if there was anything else we needed. Thank you Nate, you are the best!!

So me and my wife eat here often, the past few times haven’t been so great as before but today we went around 2 ish and It was clean inside. Service was good. Food was fresh and hot. Only thing which is a big thing for us is DIRTY UTENSILS! Can the utensils be clean before they hit the table please? But for the most part thumbs up.

Order the chicken and shrimp Alfredo plates.... neither were accompanied with breadsticks nor did I find any hint of broccoli that suppose to be throughout the dish....not a napkin or plastic utensils to eat with.. highly disappointed in this staff here.. 30 dollars for noodles and chard protein

Food was good. Service was slow, unattractive, and rude. Ordered the 2 for $22, and our food came out before our appetizer. Sat at the bar, bartender was too busy to handle what she had. Ate half our food with an empty drink. Also wasn't give silverware or napkins till asked for by me after the food was given.

Service was alright, my server was very sweet and friendly. She recommended some great food options. Checking up was a little slow and it took me 25 minutes after I was done eating to get my check. Overall a good weekday lunch.

The bartender was either having a bad day or had an issue with me. Asked me what I wanted the second I sat down, which is cool. I asked her to give me a min and she gave me ten. She came back and sharply asked me what I wanted to drink, then I ordered a drink and side salad. I didn't care that the blender was down, I just got a different drink. She never smiled or conversed with anyone and was checking her cell phone. She asked me after I was there for about 45 mins if I was ready for the check. Didn't ask me if I wanted another drink. I did but I didn't feel welcome and told her sure. Left her a 100% tip and left. I am new to Georgia and looking for places like this to go and spend my money. I won't be going back there for a while, and if I see her I'll walk out. I've worked at Applebee's and have seen bartenders contribute to a great atmosphere, especially on a Friday night. It's no wonder this place was empty besides the few people at the bar with me.

The staff was nice enough, however I had to ask for items that were supposed to be included in the meal. The presentation was terrible and my companions meals were not complete either and one had to be remade. Is someone even in charge of QC? For a restaurant that serves many from out of town and is fully staffed, the quality of food and service should be much better. On the positive side, the fish and chips were tasty, but again I had to ask for the cole slaw and tartar sauce that should have been included. I will chalk this up as a management fail as no one was minding the coming and goings of the operation.

We came for lunch on a Sunday. The food was good, not stellar but we weren't expecting anything fancy (we had wings, burgers, and a sandwich). It took forever to come out (at least an hour from time seated to food out). They were super short staffed with a sign on the door indicating this, and it seemed like they were doing the best they could. Our server still had a really good attitude and kept us updated. Management needs to figure out their staffing situation but otherwise it was a good dining experience. Plenty of parking.

Taylor was an amazing server, she was super attentive. She gave us a great experience & we gave the same in return! She’s the best! I’ll def come back & see her!

My waiter, I can't remember his name so I will have to describe him, was not good at all. He is kind of tall, with a belly mid aged black male. He literally came to do the bare minimum. He took our order, stayed out of site until the food came out. I had to get up two times to go find someone to help me with getting extra silverware and a menu. He never asked if we needed anything once the food came out. He never checked on us. He didn't pick up plates once we were done. Even when we first sat down and he said he would give us a few minutes to look over the menu..that turned into like 15 minutes. Not shortly after our food came out we needed to leave and so I had chicken tenders and fries barely touched and I couldn't take the sauces. A good waiter would have offered sauces to go and plastic ware. He just really was not good, really irritated me the entire time with him not being present..he just stayed in the kitchen after he left each table he was serving.

I'm giving 5 stars because the server was extraordinary. I forget his name, but it was his third day on the job and he was extremely pleasant and attentive. The food was pretty good. I was waiting for the service on my vehicle to be completed so I ordered the mozzarella sticks, broccoli pasta and a glass of red wine.

We had a great time! We came for the viral rum buckets, but they don’t have them. But ended up staying and glad we did! Our waiter SHAY was so kind and helpful the whole time! She made a suggestion for the whiskey burger and that burger was bomb!!!!! We came on a Monday so endless fries and 6.99 burger! Great price!!! So when you come in hopefully you get Shay!!

We were the only ones in the restaurant when we arrived and still waited 10 mins to be seated. Our table was sticky and gross, then server took forever to come. We had to ask the manager for waters. And our beverages from the bar sat at the bar for some time before we got them. The bartender was running a blender or something that was so loud we couldn’t hear each other speak. The food was not worth the money. The bourbon street chicken and shrimp was sauce less and the chicken was so salty I could only eat a couple bites. We didn’t receive silverware or napkins until after the appetizer. And the dollar margaritas were mostly fruit flavored sugar water.

Tried Triple Chocolate Meltdown: Ice cream was very good. The chocolate cake looked very good. Taste was kindda ok. Felt the inside was dry compared to the looks outside. Was a pickup visit. Had to wait for 20 minutes (along with 3-4 pickup parties) before even being checked on. Looked more like dinein preferred or very few people working.

My husband and I have been traveling and moving around more than we’d like and I needed an experience where I felt valued and taken care of! THIS WAS THE PLACE!!! From the moment Tiffany came to seat us and take our drink order I knew this would be a fun lunch! But then…… SABRINA! Took this lunch from good to great with her special detail to the personal modifications we made yo our fiesta line chicken! EXCELLENT doesn’t do justice to the staff at this Applebee’s! Thank you ladies you did more today than you will ever know!

We placed our order and the appetizers came out rather quickly. We had 5 people who placed orders. 2 orders came out and then about 10 minutes later the 3rd. came out. We then waited about 10 more minutes for the other 2 plates, they came out with the burgers but no fries- the fries came about 8 minutes later. Everything was hot the just need to work on the food delivery. Our waiter was good, it wasn't his fault the plates were staggered.

Waiting’s for over an hour and a half just for the drinks and appetizers. Food came much later and was cold. The server guy told us that the place wasn’t a good place and that he was preparing to quit. He was honest. When asked to speak to manager they told me manager was in the kitchen cooking. Manager came out about 10 mins later and we told him we were unhappy and just wanted to leave at that point. He took care of the ticket but overall won’t be back.

Don't even waste your time or money going here. Upon entering the restaurant it had an indescribable smell to it that wasn't typical food smell. You could immediately tell that the place is understaffed. Still we gave it a try. The host was a nice guy that approached us as soon as he saw us and seated us which made me hopeful. He told us our waitress would be with us soon so we sat there waiting being mindful because it seemed as there were only 3 servers. But it took about 10 minutes for us to even see our waitress to tell us she would be with us in a minute. She finally showed back up and had a horrible attitude. She spoke so fast to tell us her name I'm guessing she really didn't want us to remember it. We had 2 children with us and one of our sons asked about a Lemonade flavor then asked about another one and then got rude asking him "so which one you want cause you just asked me about one now you asking about another " he's a child thats what they do. She also got snappy with my husband when he gave our child his straw and made a rude comment on his parenting (totally unprofessional!). Also he was asking about a wing flavor instead of informing him of the flavors they had available she got snappy again in the middle of me trying to order, I had to repeat myself 3 times for her to finally hear it.The only reason I didn't get snappy back is because i knew she would be handing our food, and honestly when we got it it was tasteless and bland. The whole experience was completely horrible. It took a total of 2 hours and 20mins for our whole experience to be over and for most of that time we waited for food, drinks, or 1 single take out box. She definitely needs to be fired!!!! Or the whole restaurant needs to be shut down because they do not seem to care about their customers or value their time by how slow they move or get your orders to you. The only server I saw actually doing their job properly and trying their best to give their customers a great experience was the guy with locs. Otherwise the whole place would be trash.

The online ordering process needs some updating. I was able to sign up for their club however I had to start it over twice then again 2 more times before I could checkout. Also —I never did receive credit nor coupon for the appetizer. Ordering by its self—It should never take 40 min. However, since the staff was so polite, next time I’ll dine in.

I liked my food so much that I ordered the same dish on Sunday for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, the food from my local Applebee's on Buford Dr. by the mall, just was NOT good.. Our server at the Smyrna location was very new, so he didn't come to the table right away. He didn't bring some of my friends' food while it was hot. He was pleasant, though. Oh, and 1 of my 2 friends said her card was charged 3x's.

I can’t really express how much I appreciate this Applebees. With me living about ten minutes away, this has truly become my neighborhood spot. All of the staff is super friendly, and the other folks who come in are warm and eager to have a good time. I love everyone, but my absolute favorite has to be Taylor, the bartender. She provides prompt and professional service while making sure that everything is right with my drinks and my food. They should promote her, but I’d be sad if they did because then she wouldn’t be there to tend bar when I come. :)

Went for lunch (not crowded) only two servers. Manager seemed angry for whatever reason. Another family had been waiting 15 minutes to be seated and no one came so I flagged down the manager and said this family was before us but could we sit at the bar. We waited 20 minutes before the server came. Lunch specials were good. The manager nor the server knew about the AppleBee’s ad saying it was national Tequilla day and AppleBee’s had drink specials. So the drinks we did have were very week with the cheapest liquor.

My husband and I came for a quick bite after the Atl Braves played on Tuesday and we were a little disappointed. Not only did we have to wait almost 10-15 minutes to be seated when the place was pretty empty, but the appetizer that we were served which was the tortilla chips and spinach dip was absolutely awful. We had to actually send it back after just eating one or two chips. I personally love chips and never in my life have I ever had to send tortilla chips back because they just didn't taste good, but I guess it's a first for everything. The spinach dip was a miss too no flavor at all. Sorry!! But On the flip side of things our waiter was very sweet and he always had a smile on his face when approaching us even when we had to complain about our food he still was very nice about it. Our meals did come out hot and we traded out our dip for salads so that worked out perfectly. Drinks were good even though my husband's beer and an added on margarita sit awhile at the bar before he received them we choose to to take it with a smile as well. I definitely am glad we're pretty patient people. Overall an OK experience not really sure if I would be back solely on the food.

I live nearby this joint for a ling tym but never get a chance to visit there. My bad"😉. Unlike other Applebee's this is more lively and bigger in space. Loved the service "thanks Sean" and the food. Ambiance was awesome. People were awesome, which else place do i need to be at when hungry right 😊✌️ Kudos

if i could give this location 0 stars i would. horrible customer service, food wasn’t all that great either . one of the waitresses was discussing sexual questions she was asked with my family . one of the waiters had to be constantly reminded to give us refills . overall just a horrible experience .

Applebee’s has gone downhill, not so much as the servers but more so the cooking is not good, food is not tasty and Too little portions. We need the old Applebee’s back. Maybe it’s just this location. I’m used to the Fayetteville or Tara Blvd locations which are awesome.

It was fine. The sweet tea wasn't way over-sweetened like McDonald's and the dish of glazed tenders over mac & cheese with a tasty bread stick was interestingly good and different. I had to get the bacon removed (they took it back for me and brought the dish without bacon thankfully; I should have either looked to see the details or asked before ordering).

Lettuce is brown. The grease is clearly burnt and they are still using it. My boneless wings were hard and burnt, asked for a new set of wings and the next ones came out hard as ever. My sister ordered fries and they were as burnt as the wings. This AppleBees is AWFUL.. 😒

Tables were being sanitized (Just not the plastic partitions between booths which I thought was still kind of gross because they had little icky finger prints on them), I did not notice hand sanitizer readily available. Our server did have a mask on, seating is arranged with social distancing in mind. Service was slow, we ordered a burger (it came out burnt and overcooked) and a pasta dish. The food was room temperature when it was served, we picked at it, ordered a dessert to go and left. The chain restaurant industry has really went down hill, we will not be back!

Now that I physically have the strength to type this review, let me start off by saying I would give this establishment zero or less stars if I could. Friday evening September 17th I ordered the Honey Chicken Tender Mac & Onion Rings. Saturday morning September 18th, I woke up with a 102 fever, a migraine, body aches, stomach cramps that felt like contractions & a couple other symptoms that are just TMI to even mention. I legitimately thought I had Covid, well after 2 negative Covid tests, I finally went to Urgent Care Monday morning and found out I actually have Gastroenteritis (Stomach Flu)! I couldn’t eat or get out of bed for 3 days after eating this contaminated food! Never again!
