This was the first many visits to come. The wait staff was so nice. Very helpful. The food was delicious, especially the Smoke House Wings App. The drinks were great and everything came right to us very quickly!! Had a blast playing darts and pool!! Want to send a huge shout out to “Slices” our server for the evening!! He was so fun!

Five stars because the food here always hits. It's quality pub food. My favorite meal here is usually a burger subbed with the chicken patty, and a nice cold beer. Their grilled chicken patty is delicious--always juicy and nicely seasoned. Much better than other places! The other menu items (i.e. wings, portobello sandwich, risotto) are good options too. The food and beer menu change seasonally. This place has great pricing for beer flights. Tip: If you like BBQ sauce, make sure to try their house BBQ sauce. Great for dipping fries, burgers, and wings.

I got a phenomenal grilled chicken sandwich at Twain's Brewpub and billiards. There's a fairly large group of us and the staff took great care. The food was amazing and so is atmosphere. I would recommend checking out Twains brew, pub and billiards if you've never been and I would definitely love to come back.

Bartender was friendly, nice crowd for a Sunday night. I ordered a Tropical Breeze, it's a mango pineapple mix beer that they make right there. How lovely! I don't even drink beer but end up ordering two. It was delicious and my buzz was mild. Sweet garlic smoked wings were very tasty and seasoned well.

Big patio with wonderfully warm heaters when it gets cold! The staff is very helpful and friendly and the food is tasty (especially the creme brulee!). The beer is quite good, and they brew a good variety. The dining area indoors has a great vibe to it, and the pool table area has a bar, several TV's, three pool tables, and two shuffle board tables (if I remember the count right). Great place!

Had a Greek salad. Jack shots, some type of margarita that my friend had, she liked it. Played pool by the hour. They have other games. Good hospitality. Chill customers (that matters), decent food, good amount of liquor in the drinks decent parking. Outside patio. I’ll be back.

Party of 2 for dinner I have passed this place for years driving in and around the Decatur area. We finally decided to stop by for dinner.   They have a small parking lot in front and a few additional spaces in another lot down the block.  We were lucky to find an open space in the front.  There is also close by street parking.  We entered the restaurant and were told to please seat ourselves.  The place is much bigger than I expected with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.  We sat outside and a server came by pretty quickly.  They have a nice selection of their own craft beers on draft.  I ordered their Hazy IPA called Uniquely Similar and wifey ordered the Halley’s Helles Gold Lager. They arrived quickly and tasted good, but they could have been a little colder. Let’s move on to the food. I ordered the South by Southwest Chicken Sandwich and fries and wifey ordered the Honey Garlic wings and Sweet Potato chips.  My chicken sandwich had a great crunch, but needed more flavor, it was kind of “One Note”. The description had me excited,   but those flavors were not consistent with every bite. Wifey enjoyed her wings, but the Sweet Potato “chips” were not crunchy at all.  This place has alot of nooks and crannies with TVs and games everywhere to keep you busy.  They had pool tables, dart boards and a foosball  table.  I wasn’t knocked out of my seat, but I would return.  I give it a 3.5 rating,  but will pop it up to 4 stars because of the clean bathroom.

If I could give more stars for service I would. Service is 10 star without a doubt! Atmosphere is a 10. I loved the Mark Twain pagesand quotes along all the walls. The Belgian Blonde beer was cold and tasty af. All brewed in-house btw. The pretzel appetizer was soft and pillowly. It comes with beer cheese and sweet mustard which was weird tasting. Now... The tenders, wings, and sauces were a strong 3.5. The food isn't bad. However, it's just not seasoned enough for my liking. The chicken tenders and fries were low-key bland. The honey mustard helped it along. The smoked wings were super smokey yet the bite was like naked fried wings. It was weird. Someone suggested liquid smoke... Hmmm.... Idk... The habanero sauce is 5 alarm hot, hot, hot. If you like heat, I bet you $5 it'll make you sweat! Lol! I would go back to try the burger, play pool, and drink beer.

Classic brewery food options! The cheesesteak was good but REALLY spicy and I like spicy food. Also got the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Fries were AMAZING. And will also be coming back for the pretzel and queso! Overall, definitely will be coming back! Look forward to trying more dishes.

Place has good vibes and decent food. Inside was extremely cold and it wasn’t even that cold outside. Nonetheless had fun.

It's a good place to hangout, play games, have some drinks and eat. The food taste has decreased. From nice crispy fish and chips; not they changed the batter and reduce the # fishes. Not that tasty. Games are good to enjoy with friends. Now the House Beers... I don't know who gives the go on this. But everytime I go and asked for the popular ones; they never impress me. Not that great, bitter, flavor is not that great; it doesn't matter which type "lager" "ipa" etc. You definitely need better flavored and refreshing beers. Cocktails are better to order here. 3 stars overall in my opinion, if you improve in those areas. You can become a 4+ or 5 including service.

I would give it a 3.5 if there were half stars. had the regular habanero wings and my wife had smoked mild wings. Let's start with the major strength of the wings: the quality of meat was an easy 5-star. The breading was the perfect amount and the meat itself was smooth and juicy to the bite. It was better than the vast majority of other wing places in terms of meat quality. The habanero sauce was like a fresh salsa. It was a unique taste that, if I tasted again elsewhere, I would instantly remember from Twain's. The only drawback was that both orders had hardly any sauce on them. I only tasted the sauce because I had an extra side of sauce. I always order an extra side of sauce because I like dipping the bones in after eating. However, had I just taken the wings without extra sauce I would have been very disappointed. Luckily, the fix is super easy: just douse the wings in sauce and it's a 4, or maybe even a 5 star place for me.

My partner and I have practically become regulars here!! Came here on a whim one night looking to play some pool, and now we can’t stop coming back! Great prices for a table in comparison to anywhere else, and not to mention the food is AMAZING— they don’t skimp you on portion sizes for anything! Not a huge beer fan, but I throughly enjoy the experience and flavor profiles Breweries tend to offer, and here at Twain’s they give nothing but flavor! By far my favorite brew is the Quadsmacked, and I will be devastated when they run out of that barrel(haha) but everything from their sours to their porters and stouts are just as awesome! The staff is SUPER friendly(not to mention pretty cool) and extremely attentive— they’ll make sure you have everything you need at least three times over ahha! We always just get a pool table and order food then, but will definitely have to try out the *actual* dining situation one night! Regardless~~ TWAINS IS ALWAYS THE MOVE!!!

I love twains. I haven’t tried the food there but I absolutely love the vibe of the place. The bartender is a really nice guy who will go out of his way to see give you suggestions and narrow down on your indecisive drink menu in your head. The place has a pin-ball machine, pool tables, darts and many other thing to engage well with your friends. The cost for two people with this post included drinks and paying for an hour long pool table which was around 10$.

My friend and I were skeptical about this place to begin but decided to give it a shot because of the reviews . When we walked in we noticed the restaurant scored an 81B on their health inspection for not storing food at the right temperature and a few other things . So after reading the inspection we decided a B was not bad so we would eat . No one came to seat us and finally the bartender said we could sit wherever . A woman and a man that looked like they had just walked in off the street approached the table and said are we ready to order . I informed them we hadn't received menus . We received the menu which was huge and were told to scan a QR code . The server recommended the burgers so we ordered . While eating the food it taste okay but as soon as it settled I was in the bathroom all day and night and my friend also . I am not sure how this place has a 4 star rating maybe I should have lowered my expectations for a pub . I don't recommend this place it has a weird vibe and the food made me sick .

Great place to hangout and have a beer, play pool which is $12/hour darts or shuffleboard. Pretty large space with a lot of seating space which is split from the gaming/activity space. The service was good when I visited. The only disappointing thing is it closes early(11pm) compared to other bars around. Overall, I'd recommend this place.

This is a fun place! They have a great beer selection. I ordered the Things-On-Fries w/queso, jalapeños, bacon & scallions - it had a ton of jalapeños, I recommend asking for less! Still very tasty. My BF ordered BBQ wings. My beer of choice was "We Cool? IPA" & my BF drank "John Berna Mist Die". Love the shuffleboard & pool tables. You could kill a lot of time with great company. Also a great place for date night!

We had a lovely time drinking craft cocktails and munching on fries. The fries are fabulous, highly recommend. We had the "it's bowling, there are rules", "Twain's Fountains", and a "Markrita". We sat outside on the patio, great atmosphere and much quieter than inside with the games.

Great place to visit. Good food pleasant and attentive wait staff. Only negative was the chili, which was more like bean soup. Everything else was very good.

Really good burgers, omg. And they didn't skimp on the drinks with my experience. Servers were nice and funny. Overall atmosphere relaxed and casual. Great for a weekend brunch / lunch date. I'll be coming back and recommending.

Great outdoor patio for Thursday $11 burger and beer special (pre-pandemic was on Wednesdays and Sundays). No-touch handling with QR codes for food and drink menus, individually packed condiments, and tableside scanner checkout. All servers wear masks. Really appreciate how conscientious this establishment is with these adaptations. I'm a frequent visitor, and they always have a great selection of house beers.

Very nice laid back place. Lots of beer options if you drink. The pool table patrons are a little rowdy, but it's all in fun. They have active security around.

The place is spacious and open but somehow it feels stuffy and uncomfortable. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, attentive, and appropriately talkative. I would only come back if a close friend asked me to return or the bartender himself asked. They're the only reason I settled on two stars instead of one. The service was great, very great. However, the bathrooms are very much what you'd expect from a run down pub: a floor that's never seen a mop and a palpable stench of ammonia and swamp water. It's a basically a club environment with a billiards table, a crowded bar, and the bathrooms to match. If you're in the area and already paid for parking, sure, drop by for a beer and a laugh. Otherwise, I'd find another billiards location or phone a friend to play at their home.
