My friends and I are massive fans of the dim atmosphere, breakfast/brunch, drink and dinner options. Intermezzo is great for a romantic date or catch up with the girls. Things you should know: I. PARKING We utilize the public parking across the street every time we come here. You have to pay for it, like most places in the city, but it's convenient and easy. II. SERVICE no complaints III. QUALITY Outstanding. Need a dessert fix? The cakes are great by the slice. Don't get me started on the coffee options. If you want something unique, acidic, and strong... you should try the Turkish Coffee they offer. If you wanna share something small, the baked brie and honey will blow you away. IV. CAPACITY There were times where we had to wait about 30 minutes on a table (on the weekend). But the nice thing about being in the city is you can walk around and explore until they call you for your table.

Wonderful experience. Super nice interior with European feels. Friendly staff & amazing food & delicious coffee. Parking is free for first two hours, if you park in retail parking garage in Loews hotel right next to it. Make sure to get your ticket in restaurant to validate it. Their dessert are amazing too.

Friendly staff and they're open late. I got a fantastic meal at 10p, a wonderful oatmilk latte and dessert! They have a lot of cakes and cheesecake and a full Italian espresso menu. Very cozy, indoor and outdoors seating and very romantic.

Day 1483 of being treated like a second-class citizen at fancy restaurants for no good reason. They made us wait 30 minutes just to seat us at an outdoor table that had been vacant the entire time we were waiting. We ordered the Croissant with Scrambled Eggs and asked for sausages instead of bacon but they still brought us bacon. Then they came to ask if we were ready for the check when our plates were still half full. We asked for a takeout box and they brought us a box but when the adjacent table asked for a box, they brought them a box and a paper bag. So we asked for a bag but they brought the bags to the adjacent table that already had bags. The food was good at least.

Love cafe intermezzo. Perfect for date night, after work drink, late night craving, and more. I had the American burger tonight it was delightful and flavorful. My Bellini was delicious as well. I wrapped up the night with a slice of the strawberry torte and couldn’t even finish it! Yes it’s a bit of a pricey spot but worth it for the treat. I’ve been back several times and will continue to visit. They also validate parking so park in the connected building.

Great environment! It was pretty busy, but they worked together to get everyone taken care of. It was a nice atmosphere and our waitress was awesome! Thank you Jazz for taking care of us! She didn’t write anything down, bit got an order for our party of 6 accurate!

Unique ambiance- feels like stepping back in time with all of the wood paneling, dim lighting, and jazz music playing softly. They have a fantastic menu of beverages- especially hot beverages like coffee, hot cocoa, and tea! And the food we had was excellent- very well seasoned (even the burger!), and they offer an incredible host of freshly baked desserts. No complaints, had a wonderful meal, and would go back again next time I’m in Atlanta!

This restaurant has great reviews for a reason! The decor is unique, the service is commendable, and the food and drinks are fantastic. We stopped by here to check out the late-night menu on a Wednesday after 10pm, and were surprised to see the place fully packed. It's evident that people love this restaurant and return frequently. One note... they no longer accept cash, so heads up. 5 stars, would definitely return!

Vibe 5* Food 5* Service 5* First time in Atlanta and wanted to try one of the best breakfasts in the city. Everyone raved about Café Intermezzo, so we decided to try it out. We are not disappointed. The food was excellent, The service was great with friendly staff. And the whole ambiance of the place was decorated nicely. A must-try if you are ever in town.

Love this place. Nothing beats sitting on the patio and watching all of the action on Peachtree St. The host at the front was very accommodating and friendly. The server was a little slow and I had to ask for condiments to accompany my coffee. I asked for raw sugar as I ordered and had to request it again as my drink was delivered. The server needs to be more attentive to what diners may need with their meals such as utensils and napkins.

The atmosphere is very nice. The wait was supposed to be 25 minutes we got in 8 minutes after they told us that. The dessert was great and hot white chocolate was good. They only take cards, menu scanned from phone, and some dessert may not be available. Not a big food menu but coffee, tea, hot chocolate, dessert, and coffee cocktails are on the menu. This was a good place for dessert and conversation.

Ambient lighting makes this a great place to dine. The portion size is decent. The baked goods are a highlight - tres-leches is a must-try. The waiters can be a bit unresponsive, but overall a fantastic place for a date night.

What an absolute delight! My son brought us to this lovely cafe during our first visit to Atlanta! We indulged in the most decadent cheesecakes, espressos and cakes.... *chef's kiss!* Our server was gracious and attentive. The decor and atmosphere were divine. The chandelier and statues were gorgeous. A lovely time was had by all. Truly an enjoyable experience for us Arizonans <3

Wow! What a delicious brunch we had. We had the open faced croissant and Belgian waffles. Everything was perfect. The waffles were some of the best I’ve ever had, potatoes were well seasoned, and the croissant was delicious as well. They were really busy but service was great. I’m looking forward to the next time we get to go back!

Nice busy restaurant that we decided to try on Sunday Funday! We came in for desserts and the variety is plentiful. Tortes and hot chocolate, a dangerously sweet combination. Both items that I ordered were enjoyed, and I will definitely be back.

This place has the best dang spinach and artichoke dip I’ve ever eaten. In my whole life. Amazing. The spicy pasta is so good too! Obviously their desserts are great too. You go during dinner to look at the cases of cheesecakes and tortes and it’s an experience in itself. Great drinks selection- both alcoholic and non. Good tea and coffee too. Their special hot chocolate is decadent and comes in a cup as big as your head Give the red pasta 🍝 a skip though. That’s not their best dish, try something different here. I’d strongly recommend the spicy pasta And if you don’t want to wait to get seated (not that I’ve ever had to wait long anyway) you can sit outside too. They don’t take reservations btw The inside decor and lighting is very good for romantic date nights or an intimate outing with friends

The food, the service, my waiter, the atmosphere, everything was a 10. I wanted to take my son to a place he's never been before and that was nice after his graduation ceremony this morning. He had the hot chocolate and the Belgian waffles with mango and toasted coconut. My daughter, who absolutely loves this place, had French toast with strawberries and I had an open-face croissant and scrambled eggs with bacon and rosemary potatoes and it was all DELICIOUS!!! We will definitely be back.

It was about a 30 min wait which being a Saturday lunch wasn't bad. The server was very friendly and smiled often. Our food was served quick and hot. I got Belgian waffles with bananas and pecans. The serving isn't an entire waffle. It did allow room for dessert. My friend got a breakfast croissant. The croissant was HUGE! The caramel cappuccino we had was yummy. We ended by sharing a strawberry cheesecake which was extremely creamy and fresh.

Love the decor & the atmosphere. I visited it 4 years ago on the business trip and I thought: "what a perfect place" I need to bring family here. Well, after pandemic and everything, we finally made it for brunch. I put 4* for food as I found it unbalanced. Croque-monsieur had too much sauce that tasted like mayonnaise. Avocado toast had too much onions, and smoked salmon eggs Benedict were ordinary. But tea & coffee were perfect. And of course not many places do proper table setting. Next time will stop by the tea & cheesecake. They have enormous variety.

I walked in here by accident and was happy I did. It transplanted me from a vacation in Budapest once, everything was so similar to the high ceilings, gorgeous furnishings, interesting coffee selection, and staff interactions. The UNBELIEVABLE cake selection should be visited by everyone in Atlanta. The pastry chef trained in cakes as a specialty and they are all home made, with more than 20 cakes plus an entire section of cheesecakes. This is a great date spot, alone time spot, close friends spot...will be my new hangout.

A must if you’re in Atlanta. This is a great date spot or if you’re in the mood for a late night coffee and desert. Intermezzo has a cute and romantic interior. On this visit I had the Intermezzo cappuccino and mixed berry crepe and both were delicious. I highly recommend a visit here.

As my birthday experience continued, my wife brought me here for dessert and coffee. I had a cappuccino and a nice helping of the tiramisu. The tiramisu was fabulous, among my top five. The cappuccino I ordered was not what appeared in my first cup lol, but after I remix I got the cappuccino Italiano and it was a very good cup of coffee. The service was okay, the server was polite, and we set out front along Peachtree Street. Hanging out with my wife on a Sunday night having coffee and cake, yeah that's living.

Okay so let me start by saying “I love this place!” We were seated after a 30 min wait but it was 11pm on a Friday. Our waiter took our orders quickly and brought everything back exactly right. The waffles were a little sweet but that’s why I opted to order a burger, unlike my friend. Reliable late night spot. IG @liminndinin

We stopped by here for some afternoon cheesecake and coffee. It was a bit crowded but we were able to get seats by the bar. There’s a huge selection of cheesecakes and we got the tiramisu cheesecake which was delicious. I also got the Cafe Intermezzo, the namesake cappuccino, which had cozy fall/winter tastes. My girlfriend got a Cafe Latte which also tasted great and was less sweet to counterbalance the cheesecake. I was just visiting, but I’d definitely be a regular here if I lived nearby.

The ambience and decor were quite nice. I liked the veggie wrap with naan and added salmon. I was also surprised at how delicious the side salad was. They have a wide selection of cakes, and we tried the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake which was rich and a good portion for the price.

Very quaint cafe with great food! My friend and I visited on a Monday evening and were seated immediately. I got the intermezzo hot chocolate while my friend got the intermezzo cappuccino to drink. For food, I got the seafood crepe and she got the chicken croissant sandwich. The hot chocolate was delicious and presented very prettily. The cappuccino was good, but presentation- not so much. The food, on the other hand, was way better! That crepe was perfection and I cleaned up my plate (which I normally don't). My friend loved her chicken salad also but that portion was big enough to have leftovers. I really liked this place. I will be back when I visit Atlanta next.

We sat in the outside patio (enclosed) and the couple behind us had a dog, before they left dog decided to pee on the ground. Maybe they should have sat them in the open air. I did not like the cheese cake at all, It tasted old. The hot chocolate didn't have much of a chocolate taste, it was warm, not hot. There was a fruit fly flying around. On the plus side, for a Sun. we were sat right away, and our server was kind.

Cafe Intermezzo was such a great experience. I absolutely loved the decor at the restaurant. They play French stories over the speakers in the bathroom. The coffee is amazing and so is the food. The seafood dip is so good. I also had a dessert crepe and it was delicious. Our server was very nice too!

If you want to experience a step up from a typical coffee shop or coffee house, this is the perfect breakfast or brunch date spot. The decor is warm and elevated with a romantic element in both the decorations and lighting. The menu is extensive with tons of options for coffee lovers and the brunch options are also fantastic. The avocado toast we shared was the best of the 4 we’d had on this trip. Both the Mexican hot chocolate and the intermezzo cappuccino were excellent and we loved that they offer dairy alternatives for those who prefer or need to swap. Their desserts look delicious as well

Best hot chocolate in Atlanta. I’m willing to stand on this one because I haven’t been proven wrong yet! Also the food is good. I especially like their French toast and the spicy tortellini, but honestly I look forward to cold weather (even though I still go in warm weather too) so I can grab a hazelnut hot chocolate from here! Also they validate parking at the nearby garage which is nice especially for wanting to park in Atlanta.

I just visited Café Intermezzo for the first time today to have lunch with my friend and I really enjoyed it! The food, service, and ambiance was great (we sat inside and the restaurant was lively enough to be interesting but calm enough to have a focused conversation) and I love that there are so many drink options to choose from. We both had the open-faced croissant with eggs and I had an Intermezzo Cappuccino. I'll definitely be back!

I've been to this place several times and every time the coffee and desserts are excellent. One thing that I think should change, we asked the waitress for a cheesecake suggestion and she couldn't respond. I think she must have had something in mind. And Saturday is also very busy there, there was no queue. But the street where the cafe is located was completely noisy.

Visiting from Denver, we came here two days in a row to celebrate our recent engagement. Bryce was our server both times. He remembered us from our first visit and was so kind and attentive each time. We tried a couple lattes , the regular and hazelnut cheesecake, tiramisu, and tres leche torte. All were delicious! The ambiance is fantastic. Thanks for a romantic evening. We will be back on our next visit to Atlanta!

This is one of the finest cafès in Atlanta. We went there for a birthday dessert for my good friend and were amazed at all of the beautiful tortes, cheesecakes and pastry available. When I asked what teas they had the server's answer was that they had 150 teas what type was I interested in?! My white chocolate amaretto cheesecake was nothing short of sublime (a word I don't use often!) and the peach tea excellent! Parking was beastly however and my handicapped friend had some trouble getting to the cafè. . Those are the only reasons it has four stars.

  • 3/5 Jaida H. 3 years ago on Google
I would consider this place more of a cafe experience than a restaurant. I love their coffees and I know their deserts are pretty good. I got the mushroom chicken crepe for lunch and was disappointed. Beautiful location but more of a vibe than a place to eat. Especially for the prices

  • 5/5 Christopher S. 3 years ago on Google

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon as a desert recommendation from our waitress at a different restaurant. It was a great place to go to visit while in Atlanta. The hot chocolate was very good and didn't leave a film on the roof of my mouth and the cheese cake was very rich and delicious.

  • 5/5 유리 6 months ago on Google
We had american breakfast, pasta, cake, milk for $90. We thought quite strange about the price, but it was my first day at Atlanta so I just thought it was the usual price around here. Later we checked the menu online and found out about $30 was overcharged. Thinking back, other table's food was brought to our table by mistake. Maybe those plates could have been charged. --------------------------- Thank you for addressing this issue promptly and your transparent and sincere communication. They took immediate action by processing a refund and reached out to ensure everything was resolved. It's rare to find businesses that value customer feedback and act upon it so efficiently. I am truly satisfied with how they handled the situation.

This is one of my favorite places. The coffees are so perfect. You can notice every ingredient is quality here. The waffles are like no other waffle. The cakes are not too sweet, but rich and dreamy. The avocado toast is the best I've ever had. I cant wait to try their cocktails!! Oh and I'm really interested to try this huge sandwich everyone was ordering around me. I literally want to try everything on their menu!

We were told our wait would be 35 min. Wound up being more than an hour. Our waitress Jessica was great. Wine was good. Dessert was perfect. Main course not so much. A bit dry and lacked flavor. Overall great atmosphere for date night. Love the language learning in the restroom.

Coffee was overpriced and the desserts were alright. This is more of a place you go to experience the "vibes" and more of a cute date spot as the atmosphere was great with a antique feeling. Service was also good. I will probably not come back unless it is with an SO ;)

THIS was the best dining experience of my 4-day stay in Atlanta, Georgia. The Midtown bistro atmosphere is upscale, the food is unique and exemplary, and the service was great. Lovely decor from door to dining room to restrooms. Thank you, sweet waitress Blain, for your attentive but non-intrusive service and Melvin for your meticulous attention to cleanliness. We had an amazing brunch experience on our way home to NC. I WILL tell others about Café Intermezzo, FASHO!

This place is a really cute and quaint cafe, the drink selections are amazing and it was very hard to pick just one. The food selections were varied, and had a little something for everyone, and for any time. The tables were all spaced apart and staff kept thier masks on at all times, as well as frequently cleaned surfaces, which made me very comfortable eating there. The downside that I faced, is the chairs are not comfortable at all, and the tables are sort of cramped for two people, and bordering severely uncomfortable with three. Otherwise this is a very great place for a quick and classy date or some studying. One thing I regret is that I did not get to try one of those cakes, they looked absolutely amazing!

I visited a while ago so I don't remember the names of any of these dishes; I just remember that everything was REALLY FREAKING TASTY. If you showed these photos to the staff they could probably tell you what they are. Worth the money! :)

This place is simply amazing. We went at this beautiful cafe after my fiancé suggested and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Their staff was following all the COVID guidelines and sanitizing was being done constantly. All of em were wearing masks and that made me feel safe. I enjoyed the decor and delicious food at this cafe. Their menu had so many options that I had to figure out which one I shouldn’t try. They have something for everyone in their menu that too served all day long. I loved this cozy fine dining cafe. We had ordered croissants with scrabble egg sandwich, orange juice, hot chocolate with Nutella and grilled chicken sandwich. The food was delicious 🤤. The important thing to notice is they are going CASHLESS at the moment. Also I would like to add that you can get your PARKING ticket validated at this nice and cozy cafe in the middle of downtown. Our server was so nice to let us know about it and she got it done for us while we were paying at the table. I really appreciate that!

Oh man do I love this place. Whenever I'm in Atlanta I do my best to make it here at least once! Came in with a friend for Sunday brunch. I had the breakfast plate, and she the croque monsieur. Both were excellent! We ended with a lemon torte. I had coffee and she a French 75. Great! Our waitress was friendly and masked, as was all the staff. Definitely always worth a try if you're in the area!

A great restaurant, the restaurant feels fancy so I thought that it would be pricey but it was pretty reasonable. Went around 10PM so they had a slimmed down version of their menu available. I got their burger which was good and the Cesar salad which was also great. The lady behind the bar was nice I didn't get any drinks but the 2 men beside me got espresso martinis which looked pretty good. I do regret not getting any desert since a lot of it looked super good.

Wow! We started with the Baked Brie. Then a fabulous French Onion soup (and I am very picky about French Onion soup) and Chicken Jambalaya soup. I had the Chicken and Mushroom crepe as my entree. Excellent choice. I also had the Cafe Mocha and Cafe Salzburg to drink. Both were wonderful. We ended with the Tres Leche Torte for dessert, which I highly recommend. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend!

Indoor and outdoor seating. Large semicircular bar with dining tables all around. Your menu can be viewed quickly by scanning the barcode located in the center of each table if you like. Our party ordered the American omelette, chicken salad croissant and seafood crepe, later we enjoyed a cup of caramel cappuccino then we ordered cookies and cream cheesecake. There wasn't a morsel of food left, all so very very delicious.Park in the Loew's hotel parking lot next door and the parking slip will be validated in the restaurant.

Got take-out kinda late, they were closing in 30 min...but my $14 seafood pasta entree was less than half the portion size of my boyfriends $9 omelet. I was starving and finished it off in literally 5 bites. Left hungry and had to go somewhere cheaper to get full...

Delicious food, friendly staff, and cool vibes. I sat outside on a Tuesday and it was busy, but our waitress was phenomenal. I came from out of town, but it was easy to find. Everything on the menu we tried was great, the pitchers of mimosas were fantastic, and the cheesecake selection we ordered to go was also 👌. Will be back again when I come to town for sure!

It was really cool and comfortable. The waiters were super nice as well and the service was excellent. Menu a little pricy but a great place for brunch or dinner and their deserts are amazing.

My fiance and I came to Cafe Intermezzo to celebrate our engagement and had a fantastic time! They shared our excitement and treated us extremely well. In addition, there was authentic value in the drinks (espresso and wine), entrees, and desserts. It was all incredible. We highly recommend for a casual or fancy occasion! We plan on going back anytime we are in the area!

Everything about this place was so nice from the food to our waitress to the wait time. Our waitress name was Essence and we loved her. She was very professional and made sure to check on us throughout the meal. The food came out very quick and was really good. Definitely will be going back.

Visited the cafe for dessert and drinks with family as it was highly recommended. And this was my take, I would like to give this spot another try, as I felt with the fanfare and prices it fell a little short for me. The ambiance was nice however. Tried the strawberry torte, possible recommendation fresh strawberries for the filling might be better and give a memorable strawberry experience. The baileys coffee and Irish coffee was a tad mediocre not sure why the shots were separate from the coffees though 🤷🏽‍♀️. Hey maybe the next visit will be different 🤔

Nice vybe & beautiful decor. Good service. Enjoyed the food from the diverse menu comprised of American breakfast items and traditional Italian dishes. Highly recommend the Hot Chocolate deLuxe + vegan strawberry cake. Would go again.

I've been there twice and it was nice both times. I got the same items both times, the expresso martini with the salad salad for dinner. Both were very good! For Mt birthday, I got the Raspberry cheesecake and it was SO0O0O00O f-ing good, you hear me. It's very nice, I'll return. (March 26, 23 - 5pm)

No words to describe it, other than wonderful! The vibe, the food, the music, the decor, every single thing is the best it can be.

😠 DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Terrible service! The server cannot remember what you ordered…it cannot be that hard to write it down. Friends waited for (Hennessy) drinks…at the same table for an hour and 15min. It took the bartender 3 tries….It took over an hour to get food even with a reservation. YOU CAN...
