Family decided to go here for dinner last night. Made reservations for 5:30 PM. I had never been here, but my son-in-law and daughter had. Very nice atmosphere, nothing like the photos on their website, which make it look like a deli/diner type place. It's actually very spacious and comfortable. Everything was delicious and the service was great, although a bit pricey. Nevertheless, I was prepared to leave a 20% tip. However, when I got the check, gratuity had already been calculated into the total. It was less than I was giving, but I was a bit taken aback. There were 3 adults and 2 kids under 10. When I asked, I was told parties of 5 and above they add the gratuity. That didn't sit right with me, because of the kid's ages, and the fact that I didn't see anything posted ANYWHERE in the restaurant or on the check in regard to gratuity; it was just assumed and charged - a bit presumptuous to me. Normally, I don't pay attention to things like that, but when I was calculating the tip, the "gratuity suggestions" didn't add up and my daughter actually pointed out the tip had already been added and there was another line for an "EXTRA TIP". That being the case, the waitress missed out on more of a tip, as I went with what was already calculated (17%). My suggestion to the restaurant would be to at least, notify the patrons of the charge. I could've refused to pay ANY tip after seeing the calculation. Had we not noticed, the waitress would've received a $70+ tip. I wonder how many people are like me and just add a tip and sign without scrutinizing the total? That could be a lot of money for someone who really can't afford it! Other than that, it was an enjoyable experience, but not sure I'll be going back.

Cafe Sunflower is proof that you do not have to compromise taste in order to eat healthy. The food was excellent, and very fresh. Everything from the appetizers to the dessert was very, very good. The restaurant was very clean and customer service was top notch. It was one of the best vegan restaurants I have dined in.

My boyfriend and I have eaten here several times since moving to Atlanta last year. I’ve never bothered writing a review for a restaurant before, but this place deserves it! Truly exceptional food with even better quality of customer service. The specials never disappoint and the Pineapple refresher is a must for me every time I go. I have taken some of my extremely non-vegan family members to eat here and they were all blown away. We will remain frequent customers in the future and I highly recommend checking this amazing place out!

One of my favorite vegan spots to eat in Atlanta ever! Been going here for over 3 years when I was vegan and now that I’m not and it’s just as good whether you are a veggie lover and picky eater. The mock meat is so much higher quality than most places. The prices are good for the amount you get since everything is filling and delicious! I would totally recommend saving your stomach for dessert as well since the cakes are divine. Service was polite, efficient, and attentive. I would definitely come back for Sunday Brunch as well since it gets packed, but the quality is consistent. I will be coming back for as long as they’re open!

This is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the city. They have been around a long time and I have enjoyed meals there over the years. I got the crispy shrimp tacos they are perfectly made the flavors were carefully selected. The shrimp tasted like shrimp. My friend had the crispy chicken and he loved it. He had never been to a vegan type restaurant before. It is tastefully decorated and there's always a diverse clientele there. The staff are very friendly and very helpful.

The vegan bacon burger was amazing. Honestly would give some regular burgers a run for their money. Would come back just for it! The pad thai and Caesar salad were very tasty as well.

Had the best veggie burger I have ever tasted. I really liked the service. The food came in fast, and the drinks were delicious! Absolutely loved it. We were looking for a quick bite to eat and happened to come across Cafe Sunflower. We were not sure what to expect aside from something to fill us up. First, the menu has a good enough variety of vegetarian/vegan options to get me excited. I ordered the pineapple and cucumber drink (forgot the name). It was fantastic! Loved it. I decided I would try out the bacon beyond burger. Out fantastic server was quick and got our order out within five. First bite...I was so surprised at how good it was. Listen... y'all need to try this out.

Everything was incredible. Was a perfect spot for me wife and I'd two year anniversary. Started off with the avacado tacos, then I went with the sesame "chicken" (amazing), and the wife got the fettuccini alfredo (excellent). We finished things off with a slice of the strawberry shortcake and carrot cake. Both were incredibly moist and sweet. We'll be back!

Tried out a new spot for lunch; located in a plaza off Peachtree Road in Decatur. We ordered an hour before closing on a Thursday so there wasn’t much of a crowd. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and nicely plated. My Sesame Soy Chicken is usually served with organic brown rice, but I opted for a side salad. My son finished his Gyro Wrap before I could snap a pic. He also enjoyed the Pineapple Refresh drink (had a refill). The Spring Rolls are good, but wish more came in a serving. I will definitely come back for dinner or brunch to try more of the menu.

I am writing a review for both the Buckhead and the Sandy Springs locations (they are equally amazing). Named appropriately, these Atlanta treasures are serving up brunch and dinner favorites without the heavy/unhealthy ingredients! Their pancakes with blueberry compote & a splash of syrup are stuuuuuuuuupid good!! get that with a cup of freshly brewed coffee... (YOU"RE WELCOME) The pot pies are served piping hot and do not disappoint in flavor or texture... and their pasta dishes are masterfully built to entertain every last taste bud they encounter. (Anything with mushrooms will surprise you! They get so much flavor out of them... it's ridiculous!) If you are looking for a plant-based/vegan restaurant that delivers sinful food without the sin... You'll want to make your way to Cafe Sunflower! You'll be hooked on their food, the stellar service, and the easy going and comfortable atmosphere! Hint: Pay attention to their hours of operation. Simply brilliant!

I Loved Everything about Café Sunflower Buckhead! Thanks to the entire staff that was working Thursday, August 10, 2023. As you can see from the photos, there’s plenty to choose from – and that’s what I did. Got there at a good time, so there was ample parking and no wait to be seated. The waiter was friendly and patient as this was my first time. I started off with the Fresh Super Green Juice. Really good choice.. you can tell it was fresh and the right temperature. Then move on to the Starters. Again, couldn’t decide so I ordered everything that sounded good at the time: Fried Avocado Tacos, Spring Rolls, & the Crispy Wontons. Ate every last morsel.. I slick felt bad after eating so much knowing the entree was still on the way. Next up… the entree. After looking at the menu for 20 minutes, I finally decided on the Mango Shrimp. I’m talking nicely fried vegan shrimp, zucchini, red bell pepper, onion, coconut, a sweet and tangy mango pineapple sauce with Organic brown rice. 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️ S/N – the Curry Bowl came in close second. And without holding you up anymore reading about my amazing time… I ordered dessert. And this isn’t sum’n I normally do, but I had a feeling it was going to be good. *drumroll* It wasn’t good.. it was GREAT! It was my first time having vegan Carrot cake. I don’t know who’s in charge in the kitchen, but they def have a new customer. I can’t wait to go back. The menu has hella options I kept eyeing and I’m pretty sure you’ll be a bit overwhelmed your first time too! Two enthusiastic thumbs up!! I’d recommend Cafe Sunflower Buckhead for sure!

There was high praise all around from our friends when eating at Cafe Sunflower, one of whom said that the “sesame chicken” was the best “chicken” he had ever eaten. Of course the chicken is in quite there because everything on the menu is vegetarian (and most things are also available gluten free). They offer a great range of dishes here including everything from eggplant lasagna to Thai Noddles to a burger. Every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully prepared. The dining room was stylish and just the right amount of fancy without being stuffy. A very enjoyable place for a meal of any kind, bonus points for those looking for vegetarian fare.

First timers celebrating a birthday. We enjoyed the appetizer (avocado taco) and entrees (nourish bowl and curry) we ordered. Dessert (carrot cake) was OK; kinda dry. Service and atmosphere were great. Our server brought our slice of cake out with a candle when he heard it was my friend’s birthday.

Very upscale casual atmosphere, not too noisy. Food was great. We had the Fried Avocado Tacos because so many raves in other reviews, and they were right. I had the Fettuccine Alfredo and my husband had the Sunflower Meatloaf. Both were tasty, but we added salt to the meatloaf because flavor was a bit flat. We had coffee and chocolate cake for dessert. Honestly, pass on the brewed coffee ($5/cup and meh) also pass on the cake…unless you are vegan and are here for a splurge. Cake is good, but by regular cake standards it was a bit dry and the frosting isn’t as airy as it should be. I’m a bit picky on my cakes, so take that into account.

The Food is AMAZING!!! My husband and I went for Sunday Brunch August 30, 2020 for our Anniversary!!! The only reason I gave this place 4 stars is because they were out of the chicken seitan. My husband came for the chicken and waffles and was unable to get it because there wasn't any chicken seitan. We drove almost an hour to get here so that was a little disappointing. The restaurant and restrooms are SUPER clean and the ambiance is relaxing! We ordered the Sesame Soy Chicken and the loaded breakfast burrito and it was so delicious. We had a half stack(one pancake) of blueberry pancakes, and it was so fresh and delectable! It satisfied both of our ravenous appetites. The food came out fresh and hot! We will definitely be back soon for lunch or dinner! This is probably the BEST tasting healthy vegan food I have tasted in a while! This place is a gem!!!

This was my first time eating at this restaurant. I am not vegan at all but I like trying new types of foods. I notice this place everyday since I started my job within the location. I happen to look up the menu one day and it caught my eyes as very appealing. I recommended it to a resident that lives at my job since she wanted lunch. She ordered the Soup of the Day and the Shrimp Taco entree. I just ordered the Shrimp Taco entree for myself. I really liked the taste and presentation even though it was to go. The Mango chutney that comes with the tacos is really really good. I also like the salsa as well. It did come with Chipotle sauce but I wasn't fond of it. Over all the customer service was great and the restaurant looks relaxing. I will definitely go back and try some more items off the menu. Thanks for your service Cafe Sunflower staff.

Service is kinda hit or miss but I really enjoy the food, as does my nonvegan boyfriend. The garden loaf is our FAVORITE. The mac & cheese has a good texture but is a tad bit bland. Spring rolls are very good. The Spinach Artichoke dip is also very good. The buffalo lollipops are nasty lol the ganache is awesome. Overall, really good food :) Editing just because we have tried more things: The tempura brussel sprouts are way better than I’d ever imagine. They changed the meatloaf to an impossible meatloaf instead of the garden loaf and, as much as I love impossible meat, I really think it was better as the garden loaf. So that was a bummer. Their nachos are very good. Their sliders are very good (especially the buffalo one). Their pastas tend to be bland. Their dumplings are delicious. Their tofu benedict doesn’t taste like a benedict but is delicious and is my favorite thing to get for brunch. Their chicken and waffles are really good and are what my nonvegan boyfriend always gets for brunch there. The pancake is eh. :)

Food is vegan, service is awesome, ambiance is nice especially in the evening, the music isn't loud and overwhelming and if you're into healthy vegan eating this is for you. However for me there's not enough food for the price and you basically leave out hungry, unless of course you don't mind spending over $30 on a single meal. I like lots of "meat" with my dishes especially the Chinese inspired ones and it leaves it you wanting when you only get a few pieces with a lot of vegetables and you're used to a big plate full of "meat" and vegetables. Appetizers are good though especially the buffalo drum sticks, so if money's a non-issue for you then go for it, it's an awesome place!! But as for me I need more bang for my buck so this might not work for my appetite.

I had brunch on valentines day and it was delicious. There was a long wait (as expected) but it was well worth it. We had the chicken and waffles and the sesame soy chicken. The chicken and waffle was ok, but the sesame soy chicken was AMAZING. I don't have a clear picture of the sesame chicken, but you should still get it. (My boyfriend isn't a vegan, but he loved it too! He's a tough critic lol)

I will start with saying I’m not vegetarian or vegan but I do enjoy those foods. Some of my family members are so this was a great spot for everyone. We had a party of 7 and we were seated within 10 minutes. For appetizers we ordered the spring rolls and the brussel sprouts. The spring roll order is really only 1 serving but both were good. I got the fettuccine Alfredo with cashew milk and it was great, a lot better than with dairy milk and cream. My husband had sesame “chicken” and daughter had “chicken” parmesan. Both were really tasty. They also have a kids menu. I definitely will come back.

My Birthday was July 1 and I wanted to go to a nice vegan restaurant. So i found this place. I made reservations for me and my family on July 2, 2023 at 12pm when the restaurant open on that day. The restaurant is beautiful the atmosphere is chilled and elegant. I loved it. you can't bring birthday cake in the restaurant without a fee. Just a heads up. Ok So the food was delicious. A 10 out of 10. I enjoy everything. It was a great experience for all of us. Me and my kids or 75% vegan and the other half of my family are meat eater. And everybody enjoyed everything. And the waiter was outstanding. I wish I could remember his name but his service was amazing. My over all experience was wonderful and I will be returning. I hope the picture help we order alot 400.00 worth of food for 8 people. That keylime pie delicious.

We had the Fried Avacado Tacos for an appetizer, they were delicious! For my main course I had the Pad Thai, I don't like spicy stuff and was worried it would be too spicy for me but the waiter said it was mildly spicy and he was right, it was perfect! Pad Thai was delicious! My daughter had the Sunflower Loaf and my grandson had the Linguine di Polpette, they were both delicious meals. And my daughter had a piece of key lime pie for dessert which she loved. I do wish they had some sugar free dessert options, for those of us that don't eat sugar, that would be nice. Great restaurant, delicious food, excellent service! Update went back again and the Fiesta Enchilada was delicious!

Fully vegan restaurant in Atlanta. The ambiance was kinda upscale but there were plenty of people in casual clothes. Beyond wontons - pretty good with the sweet chili sauce, not much filling Alfredo pasta - for a vegan Alfredo sauce, they did a really good job. I wouldn’t say it tastes like Alfredo (you can tell). The vegetables were cooked nicely. Mango shrimp - best dish of what I had by far. The vegan shrimp was close-ish to real shrimp taste and the Asian-style mango flavoring was very present in the food. Great place to eat if you’re vegan/vegetarian

My husband and I went here for Saturday brunch and it did not disappoint! Our waiter was excellent in giving recommendations. The food came out really fast and was superb. I got the chicken biscuit and it was humongous! I think half of my plate was still left when I was done. My husband got the breakfast burrito and it was excellent as well! We will definitely be back. This is an excellent, all vegan restaurant! I also got a soy milk caramel/ hazelnut hot latte and it was delicious. 😋

Wow. A delightful afternoon lunch at the sunflower cafe. I ordered the quinoa bowl. We also have the Brussel sprouts and the spring rolls as appetizers. So tasty. Really nice portions, and we left stuffed. Not crowded at all and the staff was so patient as we stayed almost 35min after the midday closing. Will absolutely be returning.

Just had dinner here with my family tonight! We dined in as a table of 6 and were accommodated wonderfully! Our server was able to get all of our orders perfectly and in a timely manner! The staff is always so amazing and kind. The food was absolutely exquisite and the dessert was even better!!! Hands down this is the BEST no THE FINEST VEGAN RESTAURANT IN ATLANTA (BUCKHEAD)! This is my family’s go to restaurant for brunch, lunch and dinner. No matter where you live, it’s worth the drive!! P.S. (Unfortunately I don’t have any photos of the dinner entrees because we ate them up but please enjoy these photos of their brunch entrees! )

It's not easy to find, but Cafe Sunflower is worth the effort. Tucked into an upscale community of town homes and apartments, it's on the lower level with ample parking. We went here to celebrate a birthday, and had a great time. It's a white tablecloth kind of establishment, but the atmosphere is "fine casual." We enjoyed flavorful entrees served by efficient staff. I recommend the Cafe Sunflower burger (beautifully plated and so flavorful).

I cannot tell you how many times I have visited the Sunflower Cafe. It is my go-to when I want to treat myself, and the place I take any of my friends when they are in town. The food is upscale vegan and the price is amazing for the ambiance and food quality. Sunflower Cafe is a must for anyone who desires to experience vegan food at its finest.

The food was great! The menu had options that you really can't find in other vegan restaurants. And doesn't even feel like you're eating vegan food for most of the dishes. I would recommend if you're trying to show people some great vegan foods that don't compromise taste.

Wonderful food, wonderful service, and perfect for a formal group event! We rented the private event room for our wedding rehearsal dinner. They were very patient in working with us to settle on our menu for the evening. We were able to accommodate a wide variety of taste preferences. Our guests (even those who normally eat meat!) told us how much the enjoyed the food. The wait staff and service throughout our dinner was very attentive and made sure everyone in the large group received their food in a timely manner. The event space was a bit tight for 32 people, but we appreciated having a quiet space for our group that was a bit separate from the main restaurant.

Loved loved loved. The sesame soy chicken was absolutely delicious and had a moist pleasant heat to it. The garden loaf was on point in texture, however it had a seasoning/flavoring that was just a bit overpowering. The Beet It Up cocktail was great as was the hot Sake. The German Chocolate cake was a little dry and could have used more icing. But it was tasty. I can't wait to explore more if their menu.

Wow!!! This place was amazing. We ordered three different dishes and all of them were delicious. We ended up ordering a slice of each of their cakes (carrot, red velvet, coconut vanilla, chocolate, peanut butter, and gluten free chocolate) each one was amazing. Took them home and still working on eating them. I’ve had a lot of vegan food and cakes, good vegan cakes are hard to come by. These ones are perfect. Highly recommend. The only thing that I found surprising was that they only had soy and almond milk options fro coffee and they were out of almond milk so I couldn’t get coffee. They def need a few more plant based milk options, especially oat and coconut milk cause they go great with coffee.

Delicious vegan fare with a modern decorative style our waiter was great, very attentive for the party I was apart of. The hostess was very polite and helpful with the reservation process. I had the crab cakes and I was blown away with how tasty they were! Being a vegetarian, it's very hard to find a good restaurant with vegetarian options, let alone an entire menu. Thanks for making it happen!

Poor service! Hostess wasn’t pleasant, waitress overworked with too many tables and the worst was being unable to feed my son with food I brought for him due to his special diet restrictions. We like dining out as a family & we always include him. We never had an issue in any other restaurant but this. Manager came to our table without any training / knowledge in how to deal with special needs families demanding to put his food away.

I don't have enough words to describe this place. All vegan and fresh items. I have been pescatarian for a year and have been waiting to try this place... We ordered the pan fried pot stickers and I was PLEASANTLY surprised at the taste. I've not had any pot stickers since I stopped eating pork. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger because I wanted to see what the bacon taste like. The burger was phenomenal. Juicy and tasty, seasoned well and not overcooked. The infused Strawberry lemonade was yummy too. My companions for lunch had the Pad Thai noodles. She highly recommends them. I tried them and enjoyed them. Seasoned perfectly. Do yourself a favor and try this place out.

Suaveolently sprouting the vegan efflorescence. A blooming garden of succulent victuals. Unfortunately the Sandy Springs location is now permanently closed. Note: the heliotropic estaminet was visited prior to the deordination of social distancing.

Portion size is small for the price and not a lot of variety on the menu.

  • 3/5 Laura T. 3 years ago on Google
This restaurant uses CANOLA OIL as their primary oil. It is not healthy, no matter what type of canola oil it is. Absolutely no respectable vegan restaurant uses it. Beyond that, the restaurant overall is just not that good in terms of vegan food - it focuses on trying to taste like meat meals (a lot of soy, tofu, and fake meats) over actually serving vegetables that taste like vegetables with good seasonings and in season combinations. They also use insane amounts of oils and fats. This restaurant has failed to evolve with vegan cooking overall.

We ordered a Carrot Cake from Cafe Sunflower Buckhead for my daughter's 40th birthday! It was absolutely fantastic. The BEST Carrot Cake I've ever tasted, hands down! If you need a cake for any reason, look no further than Cafe Sunflower Buckhead!

Have eaten at this restaurant several times and I've never been disappointed with my meal or overall experience at Cafe Sunflower Buckhead. The atmosphere is relaxing, the space is pleasant with attractive decor. Good service. My favorite entre is sesame chicken and the carrot cake is divine.

My daughter is vegetarian and loves this place and for me, if I have to eat vegetarian in Atlanta, this is a good choice. My faux fish dish was very tasty and nicely presented. Only reason I've docked a star is it is quite pricy. All entrees are in the $18-$22 range, even the beyond burgers.

Excellent food and experience! Chelsea totally took care of us! Food was delicious, especially the lasagna. It's been my experience that it's overall pretty difficult to find vegan food that makes you say "WOW" but Sunflower beat my expectations. Great service and reasonable prices. We'll be back!

All I can say is WOW! The food here is so good none of it taste vegan. All the flavors are there and I love the decor. My friend wanted to try this place and we enjoyed every last thing we ordered. Normally after eating these types of food you'll feel tried but, i'm glad at this place you get the taste without the energy lost lol. definitely will be back.

As always....never have we ever been disappointed. 10 years and running actually more like 15-18 years....Anyways, I would love to build/fund their restaurant expansion into the Gwinnett area. We need more of your wonderful talented chef skills teaching healthy alternatives to eating food.

Our favorite go to place for Vegan food.. you put your hand on anything on the menu, and it will turn out super tasty as well as healthy.. best things to try: avocado tacos, soy chicken dishes, spring roll, soups, etc. Only the steamed dumplings seemed a bit dry.. one of our fav local places already!

I visited Cafe Sunflower during COVID. They’re doing reservations (per usual) and to go orders only. Only a certain amount of people can be in the restaurant. The service was amazing! This was my first time here and the best service I’ve received in years. Server was very attentive, friendly, helpful, and spontaneous. Food presentation was pretty. Quality of food was fresh and delicious! The chefs are killing it! ❤️ I appreciate the staff and the restaurant for excellent quality and service especially during these times. Vegan friendly and this was the best vegan food I’ve ever had!

Everything is great here. I am a ribs eater and for me to like this type of food it's amazing. If only i knew how to cook like this i would eat healthy all the time. Tried to hire someone to teach a class for me didn't care too much about the costs but they apparently dont offer that. Too bad they could make good revenue from it.

First came here as a non-vegan with vegan family members, and it was great! At least for me, there really is no difference in taste and the food & service is excellent. I’ve been back a few times since going vegan myself and it’s always great. The only thing I would change is adding the blueberry pancakes to the other menus! I’m obsessed.

Cafe Sunflower is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. The dishes are so tasty and satisfying, and the desserts... sometimes I just go for dessert. If a friend is having a celebration I will come here to pick up a slice of chocolate cake for them, it's amazing. I had the chocolate ganache last night and it was delectable. Our waitress was delightful and the ambiance just right for a romantic date. I have also celebrated my birthday here, and my family was surprised by how good vegan food could be. I highly recommend this Cafe Sunflower

  • 4/5 Hennella A. 3 years ago on Google
The food was really good. I had the crispy brussels they were SOOOOOOO good, the batter on them reminded me of funnel cake batter minus the sweetness and there was something similar to a Thai chilli sauce on them that put them over the top. I also had the spring roll halves that were nice and crispy, steamed dumplings which were plump with filling, and the fried avocado 🥑 tacos...yum yum yum 😋. I will definitely be back!!!

I expected to like this place when trying 1st time, but didn't. I had summer rolls, not tasty with very blah dipping sauce. I had Korean noodle bowl daily special. It had all the right kind of veggies and noodles, but poor flavorig- just an acidic taste. If I were local I'd give them another try. Maybe an off day or poor choice of items. Giving 3 stars instead of 2 since this was a single sampling.

This was my first experience with a vegan restaurant (at the request of my niece, for her 13th birthday) and I have to say I was absolutely blown away!! The food was amazing, and I don't mean amazing "for vegan food", but I am saying the food would stand up against any traditional restaurant serving similar items. The appetizers were excellent, my only complaint (for the entire meal) was that the corn chips which came with one of the apps were not at all good, somewhat stale & almost without flavor, however that being said the dip totally made up for it. They have a few menu items that are sort of "masquerading" as their "real meat" counterparts which we all agreed were as good or better than "the real thing". Some of us ordered new things we'd never had before based on recommendations from friends, and some ordered a bit more safely with items we were familiar with. We all tried a little of everything & not one of our meals was anything less than spectacular!! I wish I could give it a higher rating, if it were a 10 point rating it would be 9.9 the only improvement I could recommend would be to expand the menu a bit (both beverages & food items), and of course the chips 😋. If, like me, you have a friend or family member who either doesn't want to even try vegan or if you have family who may need to adjust their diet for health reasons, definitely take them to Café Sunflower it will make a convert out of anyone!!!

It was alright overall ambiance was good it's just the food wasn't so good honestly pad thai isn't supposed to be sweet or maybe my taste buds were messed up. Good little date night spot overall

They have gone down hill. They're clean and I know they cut down the menu due to covid--- however the food is not up to par. They dont have fresh juice or tea anymore. The food was bland and overpriced. $20 for a beyond burger and fries is too much. The service was great though. I'm really going to miss this place.

I originally went to Benihana for vegan sushi but the atmosphere was much less and pleasurable so I got on the Internet and search for local restaurants. The Sunflower came up so I went across the street and walked in. The atmosphere is very pleasing and the food was absolutely delicious. I would definitely be coming back again and again.

  • 3/5 Flueesy B. 3 years ago on Google
Good ambience, music and the likes. Spring rolls gets you only two cut into four. Pretty bland. Dumplings were better, but still kinda bland. Spicy pad thai noodles were extremely sweet, and the the noodles were tough, not just al-dente tough. The bacon burger was alright, but could do with some more flavour. The foods alright in general, but you expect better taste when you pay 6 dollars for two spring rolls.

  • 5/5 Stella C. 2 years ago on Google
delicious food, great vibe, and the whole menu is vegan! our server was super nice too! Orzo eggplant lasagna was really nice. The tofu ricotta inside was very flavorful. My friend ordered the spicy pad thai with mild spicy and there was so much delicious sauce- it was also very good. Everything tasted very fresh! The fried dumplings were DELICIOUS! Spinach artichoke dip was also yummy. We got carrot cake to go and it was super flavorful and spiced very well:) too sweet for my taste but that's me with anything sweet. 10/10 recommend whether you are vegan or not:) it is a bit expensive but that's because your getting high quality ingredients and great food!

I enjoy the GF, SF Fettucini Alfredo, but it never has enough sauce. Halfway through the meal I end up with a clump of noodles that are stuck together and dry. Disappointing for such a beautiful restaurant.

  • 5/5 Sami D. 2 years ago on Google
Amazing food! I am not a vegan but I LOVED everything we ordered. You cannot even tell the difference with their soy sesame "chicken" or the lasagna. You have to try the desserts; the chocolate raspberry ganache is delectable.(Highly suggest the seasonal strawberry shortcake while it lasts.)

  • 1/5 Solomon B. 2 years ago on Google
7 dollars for this. Food isn’t that good. Kinda bland and plain. I can make better food at home. Ordered a root beer that had no kick or spice to it. It wasn’t even root beer. Just some freaking club soda and some freaking sugar. I can’t stand it when I got to a vegan restaurant and I get something that’s 🗑! Why! Why! Why! Two freaking vegetable rolls cut in half some tasty malnourished leaves! Nah. I’m done. NOT COMING BACK. Very disappointed!

OMG! My eyes were way bigger than my tummy! Crispy Brussels Sprouts were perfectly cooked - not to hard or soft and bright green! The Pesto was phenomenal - especially if you enjoy tart pasta...the capers, artichokes, broccoli & mushrooms were sooo good! I didn't even try my husbands meal! He had the Sesame Soy Chicken & wasn't complaining 👍🏽👍🏽 Def will be back!

This is one of my favorite vegan spots in Atlanta. The atmosphere is great and the food is even better. Being greeted by name and having my online order fresh and ready for me when I arrive always makes for a great experience after a long day of work. If you’re looking for delicious food and a mellow atmosphere this is the place for you!!

Not impressed with carrot cake. Broke up in a million pieces. Overly sweet. Not sure about other items though years ago, the cuisine was delish. Disappointed. May do chocolate cake next time, if when in town. 2 stars for 930p closure. Sweet tooth ensued.

Decided to go here on Friday eve for dinner. Luckily there was just 15 minutes wait. Not too bad. We ordered Strawberry lemonade to start with stuffed mushrooms and steamed dumplings. The stuffed mushrooms were good and delicious but poor qty, only 3 small pieces on the plate. I wish they could do 5. Presentation not so good but taste was great. Steamed dumplings seemed dry and were OK. For entrees we ordered white fettuccini Alfredo (gluten free) this was delicious and good qty for 2. We ordered Raspberry chocolate mousse cake to go (to have it later next day) the server said that it was her favorite dessert. I am hoping it to be the Yummiest vegan cake I ever had. But definitely Vegans need to try this place!

I didn’t know vegan food could be this good. I tried the pad Thai and I was amazing. We also ordered the orange chicken and it tasted better than regular orange chicken. 10/10 recommend

We went Saturday at 5:30. We made reservations for 4 the week prior. We were immediately escorted to our table. I always ask for recommendations from the waiter. He suggested the sesame chicken and the buffalo lollipop. We got just that. IT WAS AMAZING. Definitely will be back. The sesame chicken was so good, my husband and I were fighting over it. He did order the Alfredo but it had more vegetables than he is use to.

This vegan meal was delicious! Seasoned perfectly and filling. Customer service was great! The ambiance gives good for a nice date night or catching up with friends. I was visiting my brother and we had a good time! Oh my goodness...the dessert, wonderful! No pics because we took it to go and we were too greedy to snap some photos 🤦🏾‍♀️

Eating here was a religious experience. I need to take a second job now to afford all the food I want to eat here. The WHOLE menu is vegan and of super high quality!!! I’m blown away by brunch and haven’t even gotten dinner yet. Also our server was incredibly nice and accommodating! The restaurant itself was well-decorated and comfortable.

I tried the impossible burger for lunch. Not sure what was on it but all I can say is that it was really good! Bun was toasted which was excellent. The fries were piping hot and just the way I like them. Food came out really fast. Will definitely come back. I noticed one of the servers wiping down the black folders they give you with your check. I’m sure other restaurants may do this but I was happy to witness it.

My girlfriend and I had the BEST time at Cafe Sunflower a year ago for our first anniversary, and again this year for our second! The fettucine alfredo and penne pesto are both excellent, and the new peanut butter mousse cake was perfect. The service is friendly, and there were outdoor tables so we could enjoy the perfect fall weather. We'll be back next year!
