Had lunch at this location last Saturday and what immediately caught my attention is the small parking lot. Space is very tight so if you drive a larger vehicle I recommend parking 2 blocks down. Service was pretty slow, possibly due to short staffing, but our waitress was so sweet. Food was hot and fresh and drinks were good when it did arrive at the table.

Beautiful decor on the inside. Had to try the Lobster tacos 🌮. A lot of Lobster meat. The Buffalo shrimp are tasty and you get a lot. Great service. Ask for Lilly. Yes, great prices and military discount!! I recommend this place for service and quality of food.

Tin Lizzy's I'd the perfect Hispanic hot spot famous for tacos. Definitely try out their specials on Tuesday can't be beat. The atmosphere here is lively and upbeat, the staff was friendly and got our order to us accurately. The food was fresh, tasted amazing and would order the tacos again.

Fun restaurant. Went on Taco Tuesday which is great value (tacos for $2.99 and cheap drinks too). Staff were lovely, service was efficient and food came quickly, defo recommend. (if there was a downside it's that the bathrooms are small and need some attention)

This was our first visit. The server took our drink order and disappeared. Eventually another server came over and asked if we've been helped. He retook our drink order and took our food order, and hunted down our server. Getting drink refills took longer than it should have. As for the taste and quality of the food?, the food was GREAT! Our server was very friendly, but maybe she was going through something personal that had her mind occupied. Based on the food we will come back.

On my 1st visit here, I definitely enjoyed the ambiance, the many menu choices, and the many drink options after I decided to eat in with my 'To Go' order. They seem to have a lil sumthin for everyone that enjoys Street Tacos and the fresh choices that can go in them. I enjoyed every one of the 3 different tacos that I ordered. And my Margarita was made to perfection. I will return to try other options. 👍🏾

The salad is really amazing. The cook also does well to follow requests. Prices are great for quality of food. Only need to work on cleanliness and staff attentiveness. Tables on patio are all disguising, bathroom dirty, waiters fingernails were dirty as well. Staff is not welcoming.

Uninspired food. Tacos were dismal. Fried pickles were okay. Kale salad looks like they scooped it off of garnish of some other dish at a high-end buffet. I think the salsa came from a jar

RYAN ! Is the absolute best server I've encountered! Energy was amazing, very knowledgeable of the F&B menu. Excellent experience. I think he was the reason our food was good. Thank Ryan @ TinLizzy

Overall, I enjoyed my experience. I was a little disappointed because this was my first visit to Tin Lizzy's, and I specifically came because of the limited time advertisement for the Lobster Roll Taco. Our nice waitress told me they were out and should probably have more the next day. I ordered three other tacos instead. They were all delicious. The Greek Taco scared me with its appearance, and the thinly sliced meat. But the taste delivered even though it had a slight crunch (not sure if that was intentional). The Fried Fish Taco was okay. The Chicken Con Queso Taco was very flavorful. My husband seemed to have liked the Baja Fish Taco. He only ordered one, but the ordered a second one. My mother had something called The Cowboy. It was one of the skillets. She couldn't finish it and needed a to-go box. I ate the last of her scrapes that did not make it into the container. It was DELICIOUS. If I was not trying to watch my rice and beans intake, I would have ordered one to go. I would love to return so I can try the Taco I initially went for. The guy folding the napkins as we left that wished us well was very pleasant. He seemed like the manager. His farewell was appreciated! THANKS Tin Lizzy's!

We enjoyed ourselves. Late night dinner after an escape room. Our server Steph was attentive with letting us enjoy our meal. Nice atmosphere of R&B playing, not too many ppl for a Friday night. My husband is a recent vegetarian, he loved the quesadilla but was not a fan of the impossible taco 🚮

Food was crazy good! We ordered the Philly cheese, shrimp fajita, and a chicken taco and they were all full a flavor. The staff was very nice and friendly, and they also have an upstairs patio with a great view!!!

Hilariously terrible food presentation and extremely meh food as in taste . Like it is so mediocre a 10 year old could make it. So the impossible meat tacos? Someone literally took an impossible patty broke it in half , not crumble, not beak a part into small pieces, cut it in half despite the fact that impossible sells crumbles ..could also explain why the two locations were I’ve been to ,very empty . Do better run Liszt . The minimum of efforts.

We were seated and waited 5 minutes before a server came over. We ordered drinks and food and then waited over 15 minutes for 2 waters and 2 teas. Food came out before the appetizer. Some food hot, some cold. Otherwise the food tasted fine. No drink refills. We had to flag down our server for the check and to find our dessert. One bathroom was put of order and the womens was a mess. Toilet paper holder open and paper on floor. Paper towel holder broken and paper towels on floor. Rest of bathroom dirty. And we got to enjoy drama with a server yelling at a customer as she left and police showing up.

Generally, I like Tin Lizzy’s regardless of the location, however, the Mem Drive location was very disappointing. The service was horrible, my bf & I came in last night for drinks. Plenty of staff on deck, bartender was talking to patrons at the bar. As we were waiting to be acknowledged & viewing the menu within 2 min of us sitting down, the bartender disappeared & went to the back for a few, then came back out, and started servicing other patrons who walked in AFTER us- still completely disregard us. Then about 3 or 4 staff members came out from the back to the front scanned around looking for some reason, ignored all of us & Walk to the back. Was weird… This was about 10- 15 min in… I was going to ask for some service, but trying to play it cool thinking about everything- the vibe & lack of service wasn’t right, and then it was frustrating to be treated in such a manner. We decided to just get up & leave. If I have to say “can I get some service, or can I order a drink?” , when the bar is not busy AT ALL & the staff is ignore me as a patron- to me that’s a problem & it’s disrespectful. No customer should be ignored. I want to support, but with this type of service-its hard to want to do so. Some things need to change…

Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. My favorite was the steak taco with the blue cheese, which was recommended by our waitress. I also had shrimp tacos, which were delicious. I'd definitely go back. Maybe try the other location in Buckhead as well.

HORRIBLE!!! I used to frequent this location, but after today, NEVER AGAIN! So, a party of 12 enters into a nearly empty restaurant and are sat in the back in the sauna-hot, humid, and old smelling. Yuck! Had we not been celebrating I would've left. I had to ask our waitress, who never told us her name, was the air on. She said "I need to ask my manager because we rarely use this space." Huh? You can't feel this heat? It came on eventually and cooled down, but smelled like sewage. Anybody should know that you don't turn off a unit because it's lack of running will be more costly than what you're trying to save by not. Anywho, I digressed! We proceed to order appetizers. Knowing this, a GOOD waitress would've have brought our plates and utensils (flimsy plastic) AHEAD OF TIME. We had to ask AND wait for her to bring four plates back to a party of 12. We were reluctant to send her back because it would be a while before she would return. My trio comes out and the cheese is lumpy. Clearly it wasn't hot, but we were hungry. The buffalo chicken nachos were super salty and while I can't eat shrimp, someone stated they were salty. This must have been the bartender and waitresses first day because multiple sent their drinks back, others complained they just tasted like juice and one ordered a pomegranate martini that came out looking like a pineapple margarita. When the waitress was asked what it was she said "that's the regular." Regular what? Pomegranate and pineapple juice are NOT the same color. Our food FINALLY comes, as our waitress could not multitask, in these dingy and rusty tins. We were seated by the restroom which was an accident waiting to happen. The floor was as slick as grease, the soap dispenser broken, and it smelled of sewage. Not to mention when it was last cleaned. My one fish taco I had was good and my beans and rice; however, the service was ridiculously slow. We went several times looking for our server. The fellowship is what made our night because it wasn't the service or food. This location needs a MAJOR overhaul and/or upgrade. I honestly don't see how they have high reviews after our experience today. Do better! All of us were bosses and are always recruiting new talent, but experienced nothing today that compelled us in that direction. For some it was their first time and they said it will be their last. I know it was mine.

Recommendation: skip this place at all costs. The story: It's a Wednesday night, not crowded, sitting at the bar and it's just chaos with the staff. Switched to Coors Light after the Top Shelf Skinny was way too sweet. I'm watching drinks sit here forever (and people complaining). On the positive side: the tacos are good.

Colby was the server for my group and he was super fast and helpful even though our group was large (10 people). I got the three fish tacos and I enjoyed them a lot. Appreciate our server giving us recommendations and coming back with water refills and our food very quickly

We loved our lunch at Tin Lizzy’s today! The food was great as was our server Joey! The Southern Comfort taco and Lobster Tacos were delicious!! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Atlanta!

First time ever going to Tin Lizzy’s. Taco Tuesday was my favorite right now. A place to go if you want a place that will feel you up just on tacos alone and don’t break the bank. Service was slow when it came to getting our food but we understood since there was a lot of people there. Trying to find parking is hell but maybe the tacos are worth it. Can’t wait to come back!

I'm giving this venue a 3 star today, even though I've been to different locations and had much better kitchen service. Reason being; I ordered 3 tacos, which were amazing, but the time it took the kitchen to deliver on their preperation/order time was unreasonable. Mind you, I went there around 130pm, was not busy, kitchen should have no issue with turning around less than 10min tickets. However this day, they just couldn't get it done. Management didn't seem to care even when the bartender made mention. I ordered a taco to go, took the kitchen over 15 min to get 1 taco prepared. Came home, was not the correct taco I ordered. Was highly disappointed. The only thing that saved the day was the bartender, Charmaine (excuse me if I spelt it incorrectly). He was very professional, efficient, personable, and accommodating.

Visited with relatives around 8pm, it was packed! masks are not required.. tables are normally placed. The waiter kindly adjusted tables for our group (8pax).. orders took long, we tried their Cantina Skillet with grilled steak ($15) good for sharing, and the taco plate with 3 dips (cheese, salsa and guacamole) which is good for sharing too, refills of taco is free.. Our foods took a long time to serve, more than 25mins. for a weekday night. Our server checks with us from time to time.. My family liked their liquor drinks, that they've ordered twice.. There's always a room for improvement, that's why i'm rating it 3 stars.

Food was great! Drinks were awesome! My server Mikayla was even better! She recommended the classic peach and mango margarita and it was bomb I highly recommend! and you can also take the drink home if you like. I most definitely will be coming back ☺️

8/25/2021 our service was excellent. I love this location compared to the other ones due to them having parking in front or a few feet away in the other parking lot but parking is free. The service is a hit or miss sometimes at ALL Tin Lizzy’s location but this past week was great. The managers change often at this location but they are always very kind and wanting the place to be better. The bartenders are always on point as well. Overall it’s my favorite Tex-Mex style place to eat. I only deducted a star due to iffy customers service.

Excellent service and the food was delicious... I didn't get a chance to take a pic of the actual meal which was Fried Buffalo Chicken Nachos because it was so good!!! Lol If you have never tried Tin Lizzy's I highly recommend. Great atmosphere and staff! Thanks for always making my experience delightful!!!

Service was extremely slow but the staff was friendly. It took about 30 minutes for staff to address us after we flagged them down. Parking is very tight so if you can go to another location do so. The good was tasty but definitely not visiting this spot again.

  • 2/5 Michelle 2 years ago on Google
Aww maan I would have to give this spot 2 stars. First they service is beyond slow. Their food a 3rd grader can make it didn't taste nothing like mexican food at all. Me being a chef, I was very upset!!! The food had no flavor at all, and idk if the people that work there be extra hot or something but it was freezing in that spot an to the point I was uncomfortable. The floors are greasy !!!! You slide everywhere definitely a lawsuit waiting to happen and I have osteoarthritis in my knees to and walk with a cane I had to grip my toes and hold on to somebody just to get to my table. The food is mediocre I mean it's not on that I'm mad we drove 45 minutes to eat something I could do it together real quick in my kitchen I just didn't like it at all and I always give restaurants a good review but this is definitely two thumbs down for me

😠 DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Terrible service! The server cannot remember what you ordered…it cannot be that hard to write it down. Friends waited for (Hennessy) drinks…at the same table for an hour and 15min. It took the bartender 3 tries….It took over an hour to get food even with a reservation. YOU CAN...
