JCT. Kitchen has been on my list of places to try since arriving in Atlanta in June. This place did not disappoint. The outdoor seating, the service and the food were all fantastic. We started our meal with the deviled eggs, which were perfect. They were full of tang and flavor. The whipped yolks were light and fluffy. I ordered the Day Boat - which consisted of grilled trout perched atop potato purée with olives and sofrito. Fresh dill, parsley and chives gave it an herbaceous layer to an already flavorful dish. The fish was cooked perfectly. I don’t usually order trout, but am so glad I did that night. My husband ordered the fried chicken. In Atlanta, it seems that every other restaurant claims to have the best friend chicken. In this case, JCT. delivers. It was among the best I’ve had anywhere. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was tender and moist with a light batter that gave it the perfect crunch factor without being too heavy or overbearing. The drinks were equally as fantastic. JCT is easily one of my favorite dining experiences in Atlanta, and I look forward to returning and exploring more of the menu.

Great southern kitchen with savory classics and uniquely creative recreations. The main dining area is down stairs while the bustling bar is up top. The Shrimp and Grits, Lobster Roll and The Burger are awesome.

American food with all kinds of twists. Whatever the sauce is with the asparagus is over the top good. I must say, the fried chicken was moist, however, just not enough spice. Almost there, but a tad bit bland. Friend loved the rabbit. Fries were great. Cool bar upstairs. Nice place.

The restaurant was amazing!! We were a party of 7 we ordered different entrees. We ordered fried chicken it was top tier. The gulf shrimp was good but the portion was kinda small, the the burger was well cooked and juicy, my friend said the duck frites was good. The good breed chicken was okay though but not the best. They have amazing fries, highly recommended. Our sever Wendy was very nice, responsive and she answered all our question about the menu perfectly!! The only downside is the host, we had a reservation and we came right on time but she seemed distracted and lost, the table took forever to get ready.

Wonderful southern cooking. Sunday night is their family supper menu. Everything was excellent. BBQ chicken was our favorite of all the entrees. Shrimp and grits were ok. Grits were excellent but the strip were ground up and added to the grits. Strange. Best biscuits and sweet butter that I have had in Atlanta. The pumpkin pecan pie was amazing. Thanks for the excellent service.

Really loved this place. The overall atmosphere is amazing. And those honey butter dinner rolls! OMG! Amazing!! We both had the You’re Welcome drink and it was strong yet tasty. Love that! Angry Mussels were okay, very small though. Gulf shrimp were tasty. I had the scallops which had a very tasty corn purée. My bf had their famous fried chicken and though we have had better it was still quite tasty. I liked the hot sauce they serve with it. Overall we would definitely come back. Even for just the dinner rolls!!

My husband and I came here to celebrate our 1st year wedding anniversary, and I don't even know where to start, y'all. The food, omg, it was amazing. It exceeded our expectations, we got the chicken and dumplings and the signature fried chicken with the mac and cheese, and when I say it was absolutely delicious I am not exaggerating. On top of that, the place is spacious and very clean, with bright and pretty decor, like Martha Stuart would definitely approve, and the staff was very kind and attentive. Needless to say, we will most definitely be coming back.

First time at this location. It was really nice we were outside. They had heaters going to keep us warm. The food is really good. I had the JCT Fried Chicken and it was really juicy and crispy. The drinks were really strong and flavorful. I would recommend this place. Would definitely like to come back again.

We came here a few months ago after an IKEA trip and we were so impressed.. We started off with the steak tartare and stuffed squid. The steak tartare was amazing, but the squid was nothing special. I also had to try a raw oyster and it was 👌. I went by our serves recommendation and tried the fried chicken. It was definitely a hit. The spicy honey amazing! Will definitely be back!

Nice place in a very old school family restaurant kind of way. Great farm to table menu. The burger looked amazing, as did the fried chicken sandwich, mussels, deviled eggs, desserts. Shrimp and grits could have had a few more grits but otherwise all good!

This is my second time coming here. 1st- dinner. 2nd- drinks with friends on the patio. I love the ambiance of this place. Nice spot day or night to sit around and catch up with friends. Our waiter Keith and "Abbylicious" were great! I ordered the Peak Time Cocktail so refreshing with peach infused tequila and the Parmesan Truffle Fries- my fav! Delicious food. Decent wine list. Amazing dessert. Impossible to get a table if you're a walk-in. Be sure to book in advance. Family style dinner on Sundays is great as well.

We only went to the bar, but boy oh boy did we have a blast. Late on a Saturday night, the music was great and the drinks were delicious. We stayed until closing and really just sat on the outside patio and enjoyed ourselves. I can't wait to go back to eat at the kitchen. 5 stars for sure!

First I must say how beautifully decorated and unique ambiance of this restaurant. The decor and feel alone was enough to satisfy me before the food. I was amazed. The dish tasted simple yet complex. It was light dish, a chicken quarter with greens and homemade croutons. The meal was sat in a delectable sauce with all the right balance of flavors. The staff was friendly and checked if anything was needed.

The service was impeccable 👌. We had the Pickled Cucumbers 🥒, Fried Chicken, Angry Mussels, Collard Greens, Fried Oysters and Steak. All of these dishes were delicious and expertly executed except the Collard Greens. The Angry Mussels were spicy with a flavorful broth. The Collard Greens were undercooked and the broth was bland. That was only my disappointment about the entire menu. The collard greens need to be tender and have flavor.

The service here is top notch! I havent had many items on the menu, but the fried chicken, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese are so delicious. Definitely a place to go for flavorful food.

😠 DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Terrible service! The server cannot remember what you ordered…it cannot be that hard to write it down. Friends waited for (Hennessy) drinks…at the same table for an hour and 15min. It took the bartender 3 tries….It took over an hour to get food even with a reservation. YOU CAN...
