All I can say is WOW! Got a recommendation to check this place out by a local.. when I asked for the best BBQ spot in the area he lit up with excitement to tell me about this place…. And it most definitely lived up to the hype! I had the brisket tacos and the addition of the Korean kimchi and cilantro was perfection! I also had the sweet potato chips which where great, highly recommend!

The barbecue was a nice blend of Korean and Southern style. Ordering and dining was a bit weird since it all had to be done outside on a phone and the tables were all high tables with no chairs. My guess is it caters heavily towards to go patrons. Otherwise, friendly service. The pork rinds were super fresh, crispy, and delicious. Much better than you'd find store-bought and worth ordering. I liked the sweet potato chips but some were soft. I would have preferred them all to be crispy, but taste wise was very delicious. The kimchi slaw was nice and fresh, and had great flavor. Texture was nice and crunchy which was enjoyable. I got the Korean BBQ pork sandwich. The bun was phenomenal, the meat was full of Smoky flavor and the meat was tender and full of flavor. My girlfriend got the brisket which was also tasty but a bit dry. We tend to enjoy a bit more moist brisket.

Thus is my favorite bbq spot in the city. That's saying something, given all the good bbq you can find in the Atlanta area. It really is the Koreanification, I just made that up, that makes this food sing. I grew up with a best friend whose family immigrated from Korea. Growing up eating home style Korean food was an amazing experience. Thus, I love the marriage of smoked meats and Korean flavors. Boom 💥 Heirloom is a dime. My personal fav is the Spicy Korean Pork sandwich. Damn, this is a beautiful concoction of flavors. The Pulled Pork is outstanding, as well. Their sauces are difference makers. The table sauce 👌🏼, but the Korean bbq sauce is phenomenal on the meat. Quite honestly, I could eat nothing but side items and be wonderful. Mac and cheese 🧀, collard greens and kimchi slaw make any meal howl. All are incredible. I mean incredible. Heirloom will hook you and reel you in over and over. Love it ❤

If my nose isn’t running, it’s not spicy enough!! This was the BEST bbq I’ve had on a long time! I love this place so much! Everything was well seasoned.

Love the modesty of its appearance! The waiter helped me out so well and gave me plenty of recommendations on the most popular items on the menu such as the Korean pulled pork which is literally to die for!! Went for the ribs which were massive and finger licking good. Lastly the brisket had a nice smoky flavor. That was for the meats now to the green stuff we had the Korean pickled cucumbers 🥒 which were very refreshing and delicious. Price wise it is also reasonable! Needless to say I loved the place and will be back very shortly! Thanks Heirloom Team you are killing it!!

Place could be a 5 star BBQ spot in in Cobb County Ga. Food is really good. They loose a ⭐️ based on these other factors. Been waiting for the owners to reinvest in the restaurant and get actual restaurant with proper parking and dine in seating. They have out grown this location. Currently they do not accept CASH You can only order on their website and have to use a debit car or credit card for payment. The menu constantly changes.. so be sure to check out the website. They do not allow folks in side the restaurant to order or view different food options. They have pretty much turned into a carry out bbq spot.. But still a great local spot.

Okay so this is a hole in the wall kind of BBQ place with an up scale style with the food and definitely some Korean influence too. When I hear BBQ I think of deep south BBQ (Dukes with a picture of a pig place) so it was a nice surprise to get more of a upscale and different spin on BBQ. You still get amazing meat from the pulled pork and chicken to the brisket, but your sauce and sides are different.from typical southern BBQ places. The Table sauce is great for everyone and definitely very different but I loved it! The mac and cheese is cheesy goodness with again a different flavor but again I loved it! They were super quick and it was super easy to order online.

Ooo-Wee! Having only moved to the area about a year ago(and so much to explore), my gf and I are only sad about one thing...we didn't come sooner! We ordered a brisket taco & a spicy pork taco, mac 'n cheese, Korean sweet potato and house fries. Bomb af! Everything was so good that we ordered more food to bring home! P.S. order lots of kimchi mayo on the side to go with everything! Special shoutout to Jackie!! She was nothing short of phenomenal! So personable, funny and a delightful addition we didn't expect on our visit! Could have easily stayed longer just to chat with her! She gave us insight on where else we need to visit to satisfy our gluttonous needs...thank you so much Jackie! Ya know, the whole thing couldn't have been pulled off without the support of all of their staff. Kudos to all the BOH staff, job very well done and thank you all as well! Man, we cannot wait to go back!! Bravo HMBBQ! This is how it's done...this is the way!

So small you could easily miss it, but you shouldn't. Delicious hybrid of Korean and Southern BBQ that will fill you up quick. If you're looking for a light meal, probably not the best place to hit up, but for something more substantial it's definitely worth it.

Absolutely delicious bbq, the Asian Influence in flavor profile and sauces was definitely noticed! Collards were delicious and so was the bbq. We took it to go, found a local park with great views of the Chattahoochee and had a nice picnic.

Great BBQ! The brisket is amazing. Juicy and just the right amount of fat for flavoring and texture. Hidden gem. The building doesn't look like much. But what the restaurant lacks in flare of a usual BBQ restaurant, it makes up for in quality BBQ. The fries are crispy. The onion rings are thicc (with 2 c's). Definitely worth a visit. Eating in their small outside dining area makes for a neat experience.

A delightful hole in the wall. Almost as if only those that have been there can find it. Super fast service I think 7 minutes from online order to meal in hand. The spicy pork is fantastic and the sandwich is a refreshing take in a classic pulled pork . The Mac and cheese is some of the best. The sweet potatoes are greater than the sum of parts. The ribs are unbelievably tender and dipped in the Korean BBQ sauce rival the best traditional. And the miso in the collared greens takes them to a new dimension.

I’m shocked at a bib gourmand for this place. I will say service was super friendly and made me want to like the food so so much. But I was disappointed. Pork was coocoo salty and coocoo sweet and just a pile of smoke. Wings were over cooked and also a pile of smoke. Love me some smoke but it was too much. No other flavor. Fries were tasty. I’ll give them that. Hopefully we went on an off day.

The fried chicken which is a Wednesday special was stellar. The bbq items were good. Brisket was okay, the Korean style spicy pork was the best BBQ item. The chicken was dry.

The brisket and korean pork were pretty good but was a bit dry! The flavor was great, I liked all the sauces. The kimchi slaw, mac n cheese, and pickled radish were delicious. Nice standing area with heaters to eat outside

If you've heard of it, go. Food is legit and generous. I'll need to try more of the sauces. The one I didn't mesh well with was their vinegar one, has an extra earthiness I wasn't looking for. I'm used to Carolina style offerings in that regard but the other one I had was great. Meat is tender and smoky and everything you want in a proper 'Q. Just be prepared to eat standing up as it isn't a restaurant as much as it is a food stand. Or if you live nearby take it home and enjoy it.

Heirloom BBQ is rated as one of Atlanta’s best for a reason. SO good! Especially the Spicy Korean Pork Sandwich and the incredible sides. I had spicy Mac & cheese and Korean Sweet Potatoes. Everything was takeout but the food was served warm and accurately for our order. Can’t wait to go back!

Quirky BBQ joint. You order online for takeout, or you can eat on the patio outdoors. There is no indoor seating. There are bar tables and a counter to stand in a covered area. All that being said,it is worth it! My brisket sandwich was delicious, as was the kimchi coleslaw. Also, in my party, a pulled pork and chicken sandwich was ordered. Everyone loved it. It's definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. I almost forgot to mention the poker rinds and Mac and cheese, both very tasty.

Excited to try this place after multiple ads on Instagram and hearing about this place for months, so decided to try today. Unfortunately it will be the last. We ordered a spread (Ribs, Wings, Brisket, Mac n Cheese, Collards, and Beans). The only thing I would remotely come back for are the wings *(if I am in the area). The brisket was practically wood and had zero *wiggle*, basically cardboard. The Mac n Cheese wasn't that bad, and the Ribs were decent but not worth it. The sauces were good for whatever thats worth. Ill stick to 441 BBQ instead.

In from out of town and had this "hole in the wall" barbecue joint recommeded to me by a colleague. When i got there and saw the line i new it was a winner. Great pulled pork with slaw sandwich. And the side sauce was delish. Brunswick stew and mac n' cheese for sides spells - sated!Be forewarned...all ordering is done online..no dining inside but there is a patio seating area.

Yes to ALL things on this menu. You can’t go wrong. Today, we had the brisket and Korean pork. My husband would prefer the brisket to be a little more saltier but it was still very good and moist. The pork is chopped and smothered in a reddish spicy sauce. It wasn’t sweet, which I like. The kimchi mayo is amazing; creamy, mildly spicy, and sweet. The Korean sweet potato chips are a must. They’re about 1/8 in thick in a sweet ginger syrup and sprinkled with roasted sesame seeds. So good! The brisket chili is yummy!!!! About a medium-hot spice level. It comes with big chunks of brisket and topped with shredded cheese and cream. Pork rinds were perfect! Crunchy but not hard and seasoned well. Too easy to eat. We ordered from our phone with a QR code. They always had someone right outside their door to help with any questions. He told us that the owner-chefs are Jiyeon, a South Korean ex-pat and Cody (a Texas born, Tennessee raised, Atlanta trained Chef), together they created “Seoul" classic Southern Food. Fun fact: JiJi was a Korean Popstar in her past life 🤩 There have some hightop tables outside with umbrellas to shade and heaters to keep you warm on a cold day like today (45 degrees F). They’ll escort you inside if you need to use the Restrooms. (No seating inside) We had many friends tell us to go here and it did not disappoint. Definitely will be back.

Tasty brisket and spicy Korean pork were done just right. Served quick and hot. I only wish there was seating so I didn’t have to take the food back to my hotel. Still, very good! Place is super busy and limited parking. So go early for your best chance at enjoying.

Got the brisket and it was outstanding! Melt in your mouth tender and good flavor. Sauces were unique and also really incredible. Fried green tomatoes were good as well, and the sauce for them was really amazing. When we went they didn’t have indoor seating so be prepared to grab and go. Service was really great as well!

The pound of smoked wings is to die for, and if you don't order them, then you're making a mistake. Hopefully, the person with you doesn't because I highly doubt they'd let you take a bite once they've begun to dive in. The picture posted isn't my picture but gives you an idea of what the wings look like. They come with this Korean sauce but honestly, I'd get one of each sauce; they're all fantastic. The wings were about $13, but again, you get a pound. It's best to call in your order; there's going to be a line no matter when you go. American Deli who?

What a great local BBQ stop. This is my first time in a few years to stop in and have some delicious food. I ended up ordering the Korean Pork Sandwich. The Korean sauce has a nice peppery kick. And the soft smoke flavor is outstanding. This sandwich is stacked high with cole slaw on a butter bun.

Glad I finally got to try this highly rated spot. As others have mentioned it’s best to order online and pick up. No dine in service although you can stand and eat your food in the patio area. Had the ribs, spicy Korean bbq plate and a 2 meat plate with Korean bbq and pulled pork. Sides were Mac and cheese, sweet potatoe katsu, and coleslaw. Everything tasted amazing except the pulled pork which was bland and the buns were meh. Loved the sauce that came with the sweet potatoe + the sweet heat dipping sauce and the Mac and cheese was really good! The spicy Korean bbq wasn’t as spicy as I thought it would be (it’s just a hint of it)

Hands down our favorite pick up for tailgating!! Braves game, concert at Chastain Park or Lakewood. This is where we are going. BEST wings and macaroni and cheese!!! Love the tacos too!

Stopped here while traveling through to try the smoked wings from the reviews but they were sold out when I came at 6:30😭 So I ended up trying the spicy korean pork and the brisket which were pretty good! The sauces were interesting and delicous, I enjoyed that. The korean sweet potato chips were really soggy though, I dont recommend those.

I was in ATL for a whole 4 days and received 3 recommendations to visit Heirloom Market BBQ - I was not disappointed! Brisket and pulled pork tacos were yummy. Get you some chicken wings while you're at it. Staff was friendly and quick! It's not an indoors restaurant, so be aware that you should be taking to go or braving the heat to eat.

They only do take out and you have to order online, but worth the different process. Food was good. Love the Sweet Korean sauce on the brisket. Very limited parking space and can be a bit annoying to left turn on a single lane street, but worth the extra effort.

10 out of 10. Enjoyed the brisket, pork and kimchi sandwich, Mac and cheese, and collard greens. Everything was spot on in flavor and technique. Order online for an easy pickup. There is a small outdoor patio with stand up tables.

We went there yesterday for the first time. Very good!! We got the 3X3, three different meats and three different sides. Some of the best brisket we've ever had and the Korean BBQ pork was excellent! Our plate was supposed to have chicken, but the chef wasn't happy with the quality, so they weren't selling it. That really impressed me. The only drawback was that they don't have seating. We will be back!!!

  • 4/5 Greg M. 1 year ago on Google
The food is a unique twist on more traditional barbecue. The service is friendly but don’t let the pictures confuse you to think there is space for dining — Heirloom is really a takeaway restaurant. Our food has generally been very good but sometimes the brisket can be pretty fatty.

TLDR: I spent $80 in Ubers to grab this food onto the plane back home. I have no regrets. Heirloom was recommended to me by a friend before the Michelin guide wrote anything. I just happened to go on the weekend they announced it so it was super busy. Somehow they still got my food out super fast and I whisked it away via plane to my home in Boston. All of it tasted great. I regret not buying via the pound of specific meats but what did I know since this was my first time? My fav experience was dipping the brisket into the gochu bbq sauce. It created this amazing briney flavour that I have never experienced. The pork belly was also delicious. We also picked up a rack of ribs that tasted amazing with the dark bbq sauce. Order extra for a saucy time. For sides and dessert, the mac and cheese was a perfect ratio. Not too dry but also not the super creamy type. The sweet potato fries were so much fun. The beans were also gorgeous and I could put those with any of the meats. What stood out was the pecan pie. We don’t have good pecan pie up here. The crust and consistency of this pie was beautiful. I miss it already. Would recommend they try a brown butter filling sometime.

Visited here for the first time and it was so delicious. It is a small location with some outside tables to eat around and a convenience store next to it. We ordered our food online when we got there and they brought our food out pretty quickly. Let me just say that the food is fantastic and I can’t wait to return and try something else. It is right next to the river and some walking trails so easy access after a walk.

Great barbecue with a flair! I absolutely love this place! Hopefully one day they will expand to offer indoor dining as well! Their brisket is tender and tastes great! The pulled pork, chicken and turkey sandwiches are really good and the mac and cheese is superb! I love eating here! The online ordering process is quick and very efficient.

The brisket is awesome……..simply awesome. It’s flavorful and moist. The ribs were a delight as well. Unfortunately, I cannot give the same raving review for the macaroni. It was just gross to me. But as long as I’m in Atlanta, this is my go to spot for brisket and ribs. The host is awesomely nice as well.

  • 5/5 Kyle L. 1 year ago on Google
Location only does online orders. BBQ is really good especially the brisket. There is a decent size area where you can stand and eat your food. Overall I would highly recommend this place. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. The kimchi slaw and Mac n cheese are to die for. There is also a grocery store next door if you need a soda or something
