I was really hoping for so much more then I got. It started off great then went down hill from there. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and shown where to sit. Someone dropped off plates and chopsticks then left. After looking over the menu and trying to figure out if I walk up to the counter to order or do I just wait. The reason why I didn’t know what to do was because our waitress never came to our table. I actually had to put my hand in the air and wave at a staff member to ask. My wife’s food tasted pretty good but mine lacked flavor. Our waitress only checked on us once after taking our order and never refilled our water. Also, for being such a big restaurant you would think they have soda on tap but instead they charge 2.50 for one can of soda…!! Sadly, this was a poor experience which from that I may not be back.

We had a party of 4 for dinner at 7:00 pm on Sunday, 12/3/23. Plenty of parking. They have a robot that delivers the food to the table, but then a server puts the dishes on the table. Everything came out pretty quickly! Very casual. Good for groups both big and small. We got 6 plates to share and it was the perfect amount of food! That’s the way to do it - so glad we got to try multiple things! Here’s what we got: - Fried Samosa: Delicious!! - (PS) Mango Tofu: It was good, but it wasn’t my favorite. - Grandma BBQ Pork Rice: Tasty! - (CF06) Shiitake: Very good! - Roasted Mushroom Garlic Noodle: Really enjoyed this!! - Vegetarian Daal Roti Plate: Spicy! But good. Overall, we liked everything we got. There are soooo many options. We could go back hundreds of times and get something different each time. I would definitely go back

Great selections. Nice pictures menu. Quick service. The won ton soup was the best. Hainanese chicken was good. The five spice pork belly was a bit chewy but tasty. The crunchy pork & shrimp rolls was OK, not my favorite. Good portions. Will try other dishes next time.

Love this place! It is a good place to try Malaysian cuisines. The restaurant is clean. The servers are really friendly. Their menu is full of pictures so you do get to see what your food will look like. And the food actually look like the picture! All of the food that we ordered were amazing! I have not have any bad item from here. It is a must try place!

This is a good restaurant to eat Malaysian foods. The food was served here hot and tasty. The customer service was excellent and this is a nice and clean restaurant. We ordered parotta and burger as a appetizers were very tasty and soft 😋. Curries are really amazing here. We can taste variety of dishes here. Good price for the quality food. Amazing restaurant to chat and eat with friends and family. The dessert sticky rice with mango fruit was yummy. We would like to come here again and again.

Amazing food and great ambience! Don’t know why it took us so many years to find this one. Loved each and every dish we ordered and the best was the dessert - sticky rice with mango! The restaurant is pretty big and they have a lot of people dining (more as it was a Sunday dinner) - so the service was a tad bit slow. Would recommend going in early. But totally worth it and we are definitely going back

It's higher end fast food, Asian style. Not particularly authentic but still delicious. Six hour braised beef is a consistent choice. The menu is an experience. Options galore but they are reluctant to make any substitutions or changes, despite dietary needs. Robots help a bit but service is slow. Still worth checking out, if you're in the area and enjoy variety.

Don't you dare eat breakfast if your planning to come here for lunch! Choosing the cuisine is almost like taking a multiple choice Math quiz; when you don't really know, you have to get "all of the above!"........ Good Eating! Reasonable prices and our server Christine, was extremely pleasant, professional, and engaging. Oh..and the Robot waiters came to serve!....no pun intended..😀 Definitely plan your next day off, dining here..you won't regret it!

Nice place if you're looking for a different twist on Asian fusion cuisine. Love you the robot server.

The place looks really happening so it looks like a great place to take a date. The service here is cheeks, like really abhorrent, and that makes it not so good The food is really good though, so maybe take them anyways. The Grandma Wonton BBQ pork is the way to go for quality and value. The mango chicken and shrimp were good. We preferred the chicken because the shrimp annoyingly came with the tail shell still. But yeah, you'll be hard to find your server so good luck.

What a great experience from the fully illustrated enormous menus to the robot that brings out you meal. Food is excellent and fresh, service is attentive and friendly. The three of us had appetizers, entrees, one designer cocktail, non alcoholic drinks and shared two mango based desserts “to die for.”

There are lots of options and vegetarian options if you are interested. Portions are relatively large. The service is weak as others have said because it’s slow. The menu is visually pleasing but a little much. The food is okay, not the most authentic. We were not fans of the Hainese chicken. There is parking. Nothing was that spicy.

The food is amazing. I honestly cannot stop thinking about the mango shrimp. The mango shrimp is the perfect balance of crispy, spicy and sweet. I could have eaten two bowls of it. I love the ambiance inside the restaurant and the service was top notch. We also had the pork which was sooo good with the noodles. I cannot wait to return to get more shrimp though!

The food was really good and we enjoyed our beverages. The restaurant was very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They had an electronic waiter who delivered our food to us. The menu was a little overwhelming. There is a lot to choose from. This restaurant is kid friendly and they do have an outdoor dining area. If you get cold easily, bring a light jacket or sweater. From everything we tried, we LOVED our appetizer and the grandma BBQ pork entree. The sticky rice with mango was our favorite dessert. Our appetizer was Nuomiji (Sticky Rice) Steamed spiced glutinous sticky rice topped with chicken, BBQ pork, mushroom and pork sausage. Our two entrees were: Signature Grandma BBQ pork rice (BBQ pork, fried egg, jasmine white rice, bok choy, cucumber) and 6 Hours Braised Beef (Beef brisket, green leaves lettuce, pickle mustard and cilantro. Served with Jasmine White Rice). Our desserts were: sticky rice with mango and Mango Mousse (An exotic treat, the mango mousse is the next best thing to the real fruit itself, beaten until fluffy).

Delicious. Trying hard to try everything on the menu but keep finding favorites I need to have over and over! Love can get the same dish as noodle soup, dry tossed noodle, and rice bowl. Love the outdoor seating with fans and heaters, just doesn't work in the rain with pergola covering. Good COVID safety precautions.

Loved the food and the service. Our server was attentive and checked on us all the time. He refilled our drinks and even gave a to go soda. Food was yummy and the quantity was great. We had left over too :) will be back.

Great food! Great flavor! Came here with family and we tried so many things on the menu I can't remember all of it, but I know for sure all the food was delicious. They all had this amazing umami flavor. I wish I could have tried more, when I am back in Georgia this is the first thing on my list. Please try this place if you do get a chance.

The staff were attentive and polite great atmosphere. The food was good you just have to order the right dish. The menu is overwhelming (think cheesecake factory style menu) and ordering may take some assistance, but having a robot bring it to you is cool.

Great food! Good flavor! Went with a group of friends and our server was very kind! Had a fried egg crispy bao and honey butter shrimp garlic noodles. Both were delicious. There isn’t much vegan or vegetarian options so most likely won’t come back but highly recommend for meat lovers. Lovely restaurant!

Service gets four stars. This is an average of five+ for our human waiter, Alex, and one for the loud, obnoxious, impatient robot. Three stars for food. Seaweed salad was not fresh. Yes, I know it's reconstituted seaweed. However, it should not be day+ old reconstituted seaweed. One star for the seaweed, Four stars for the seasoning. Pork belly bao had two flavorful bites that left me wondering if there is a pork belly shortage. Imagine a tasty burger that is half the diameter of the bun. Would two additional, small, belly bits, be too much? Less pork! The two tiny pieces of braised spare rib were predominantly cartilage. I understand the concept of "small plate" carries a statistical risk that neither of the two bites will be representative. More care should be taken here.Roti and side were excellent. Hence three stars. Fried Okra gets a four+. Good flavor and texture. Not overly breaded. Clearly, not from a food service sack. Mango chicken? Mango was not cut for this dish. Very small pieces compared to the chicken and other vegetables. Chicken could have been much better. Too much crisp and not enough chicken. Use less batter. Overall, a three. Good quality rice and cooked right. Clumpy in the bowl. As if half fluffed after cooking It gets a four. Atmosphere gets a three. As crown thinned, patrons were concentrated to a smaller area keeping thigs lively. Obnoxious, loud, robot steals a star. Three stars.

Had a great first time here. Had so many things we wanted to try on the menu. So will definitely be coming back. Waiter was wonderful & kind, food tasted great, & the robot servers were funny to watch. Haha all around great Sunday get away for lunch.

Came to this place for their Szechuan wontons that I heard about but it just hyped. They were too acidic, not enough spice/no spice. The pig ears didn’t have a distinct flavor, it was meh. The bone marrow soup had 2 big pieces of bone with no meat, flavor was okay - nothing to brag about. The fry chicken was subpar at best, more baked than fried however it was juicy. Overall, expectations lead to disappointment on this visit. I’m not sure about the other items on the menu but I won’t be back for food. The service was good and ambiance gave me a “cafeteria” vibe. There’s also robots bringing you your food.

As Malaysia visits Atlanta, this is the closest to home foods. Love the tasty food, especially the sambal. Highly recommended for the great ambiance, friendly staff, tasty foods, and cleanliness.

A pan-asian resturant with wide variety of choices ranging from roti-canai to macha ice cream.. honoring every Asian cuisine to its fullest. The ambience of the resturant is perfect for group dinners.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants I've been to in awhile. This place has it all, great food, great atmosphere and great service. Definitely an experience that must be had...everything by far exceeds expectations set by the reviews. I certainly will be going back, again and again and again just to try everything else on the menu. It's a resort style experience for sure!!!

My buddy @verityyata couldn't believe I had never had @foodterminalatl and boy am I glad I listened to her and checked it out!! First off, this place is very spacious and they have all sorts of table sizes so whether you're flying solo or with a large group, you'll be fine. I ordered some TERIYAKI CHICKEN SKEWERS to get things rolling and followed that up with a BULGOGI CRISPY BAO. Now let me talk about this BAO, think of a bao as some sort of sandwich... In this case kind of like a sloppy joe sandwich but 1000 times better 🤤 The bulgogi beef was so tasty and the bread, oh the bread... It was perfectly toasted and coated in some type of honey? Whatever it was, this was my favorite item 🥰 I ordered their TOSSED NOODLE called GRANDMA WANTON BBQ PORK tossed noodles. I loved the flavors and everything about this, I only wish it had more noodles. I was asked if I wanted dessert so I said SURE!! I ordered their MATCHA AZUKI ice cream and although I thought I wasn't a fan at first (I got a spoon full of red bean), once you mix it all in, it is DELICIOUS!! I am now a huge fan of SAGO which is what you see in the dessert picture that looks like little tiny clear tapioca balls. It was awesome! I will definitely be going back soon to try their rest of their items but it's going to be very hard to not just order 5 of these Baos and call it a day 😅 Do me a favor and please invite me over with you if you stop by so I have another excuse to eat here 🤣🙏 Edit: When you come in and get sat down, you are given a magazine to go over the menu. Once you know what you want, you take the piece of paper you have on the side and you fill out the item that you want (they are numbered). The waiter/waitress will come and grab your order and put it in for you. My water was refilled often and I was checked in on often, which was nice. Unfortunately if you want to drink a soda, it is sold by the can. I did see they had a drink menu though. #rolieats #goodeats #goodfoods #asianfood #foodterminal #teriyakichicken #bulgogibao #tossednoodles #grandmawantonbbqpork #icecream #matchaazuki #sago #delicious #deliciousfood #iateitall #dontjudgeme

I love Food Terminal, the problem is they have this one dish I always get when I go there because I love it so much. Spicy coconut beef rib noodle soup. Give it a try.

Really excellent. Best laksa I've had since being in Singapore. Great menu and service experience. BBQ pork was great. Wanton mee was also great. Cool robot who delivers your food. This is a slick delicious concept. I'll be back!

Great experience. Food was amazing. Great service. Pictures include grandma’s bbq, crispy pig ears, samosas, and shrimp egg rolls. We also tried the 6 hr braised beef. Can’t wait to go back again to try other dishes.

Our first experience was AWESOME! Axel, our server, was attentive and quick to respond to our needs. The atmosphere is FUN and the food is delicious! We ordered a few different items to sample and loved EVERYTHING. We will definitely be back to try more!

We stopped by for Sunday lunch on our way back to NC from a weekend in Atlanta. This place had been recommended to my wife by a friend. I've been to Malaysia on vacation half a dozen times and one of the things that makes me keep going back is the incredible food. I have to confess to being a bit skeptical that a restaurant anywhere outside Malaysia/Singapore would execute dishes like laksa properly but this place nails it, it is absolutely legit. Frankly it was so good we were stunned and we will happily return even though it is a 5 hour round trip from where we live in NC. You have to try it.

We love the decorations and atmosphere but the food was below average. Cheese rice has no obvious flavor, rice noodle rolls were not chewy at all. Disappointed, wonder why it is so popular ☹️

Great place to take large family or group of friends. My favorite was the Beef Rendang which had a nice red curry taste and not too overwhelming with the spice and the beef was very tender ($25). Grandma’s BBQ pork was more on the dry side but the sauce had a sweet taste. Kids seem to love the chicken wings and the shrimp (Honey Butter). We ordered so many dishes and of course I couldn’t taste all of them, but overall everyone was satisfied. If a Food Terminal were to open in the DC area, would I visit? Yes, of course. Thx, Bear

So yum!! Ordering was quick and easy. The staff was friendly. The robots made us feel like we were in the Jetsons cartoon. We loved it! The food was fresh & delicious. A great place for a birthday lunch especially for kiddos since the robot will sing Happy Birthday when it brings your food. We will return when back on that side of town.

Excellent flavors and a lot of variety on the menu, from Chinese to Thai to Indian food. The Szechuan bone marrow noodles had a fantastic chili oil although the bone marrow was hard to scoop out and there was hardly any meat on the bones. Chicken satay was very tender. The menu is great because it has photos of all the dishes to help you visualize everything.

Didn't know Malaysian Food was a thing until going here on a work outing. It's like a combination of Cantonese, Vietnamese and Indian food. Quite interesting! Staff was well organized and handled our group of 30+ well. Food came out fast and hot.

I love Asian food, so my nephew-in-law recommended we dine at Food Terminal. He and my niece felt that I would love the food and atmosphere. Well, they were absolutely correct! It was definitely a different dining experience to have a robot, named Simon, bring our food to the table. When I saw the menu, the restaurant had two dishes that I wanted to have blended together as my meal. The restaurant accommodated me for a slight upcharge. I loved my very flavorful dish of Lump Crab Garlic Noodle (thin egg noodle mixed with fragrant garlic butter topped with lump crab) and Roasted Mushroom Garlic Noodles (thin egg noodle mixed with fragrant garlic butter topped with roasted mushroom) blended together. I asked them to add fresh basil and fresh spinach. I was happy they obliged me. The Roti bread was good too.

Customer service lacked. Idk if the waiter was just in a rush to clock out or what, but he definitely seemed in a hurry to get off without even telling us we were getting a new waiter ( the second one was better). Food however, was really hot and delicious. The atmosphere was ok more so because we sat outside on the patio on a beautiful day, no large crowd at all during that time. We will return.
