Came here with some co-workers and did the King Tut room. It was so much fun and Lily, our host, was wonderful! We completed our room with a little bit of time left. It was such a great experience and we will definitely come back again. They have lots of options, are very nice and it is so fun!

Awesome adventure this past Sunday escaping from King Tut’s tomb! This escape room space is really nice with a bar for refreshments, private party room and nice waiting area. We (5 adults) enjoyed the details they put into making the Tut tomb rooms feel authentic and the variety of puzzles and clues were challenging but doable. Our friendly guide, Tanner, was encouraging and fun. All in all I highly recommend this escape room location!

We attended a birthday party here for my daughter. The kids had a blast going through the escape room and they have several options to choose from. The “party” room was one of the unused escape rooms with tables setup inside, but the staff were beyond helpful in getting everything setup, organized and checking back in to make sure the party host had everything they needed. They made it easy!

Took my family here for a first time experience ever trying an escape room. We did the Speakeasy and loved it! We had 8 people and really loved the interactive aspect of having an in room actor. James (a lovely lady) was the best! Thank you!

We had a great time in the Al Capone escape room. We've never been an escape room with an actor in place - Tanner was the best! he got so in character and made it a really unique experience!

I went to Time to Escape as a part of a team event day and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit! My team did the Speak Easy escape room and it was a blast! James the bartender was great at giving us clues. The game was a wonderful team building exercise! Would definitely go back with friends/family.

We did the Al Capone speakeasy room as a corporate team event with a team of 7 and had a great time. Tanner was our gamemaster and did a great job guiding us through!

We booked an escape experience and the special event space for my son's birthday. He and his friends had a great time! The staff made it easy for us. Alex was available but unobtrusive throughout our event.

We had a fabulous time doing the Escape From Alcatraz room with my son and his friends who are all around 8 years old. The staff person was very kind and patient and gave us all the clues we needed to break out!!

This was first escape room experience. Booking online was easy. Pricing was higher than expected and unfortunately I paid for one person who was a no show. The challenges were good. Unfortunately the room looked a little run down and needed some upkeep and maintenance. I wish the door to the game keeper had been closed to keep some of the mystery alive. The game keeper Alexis was very friendly and did a good job communicating with us during the game.

We had a great time in the King Tut escape room, with Lou as our game master. (And thank goodness for him, as the room was difficult!). We also enjoyed the Alcatraz room, which was fun and escapable with some thought. Will definitely go back!

Game Master Nikki was really accommodating and helpful, she made the experience fun and helped us through the experience! We did the Western themed escape room and the puzzles were challenging but not overwhelming. A great way to spend an afternoon!

We enjoyed Al Capone's Speakeasy and had a blast with our Game Master, Karlee. I love their execution of the in-room and in-character GM, especially with the ability to actually order drinks at the bar while playing. The room may be due for a facelift or touchups as many prop and decor items are heavily worn.

Had an absolute BLAST. Really fun experience especially with our game master, Karlee. She was SUPER cool and entertaining as heck! This was my first escape room and 10/10 would recommend.

If I could give 10 stars I would! My dad suffered a stroke earlier this year and now has to use a wheelchair because it's hard for him to stand after long periods of time. For the past 5 years, I've gone to an escape room every year for my birthday. Because of my dads situation, I wasn't sure if we should go this year but my family insisted since its something I enjoy doing. This was our first time going to this escape room and I was not aware of some of the physical abilities needed to complete the room. The game master notified me that the room would be challenging for my dad to get through in his wheelchair and I was afraid that I would have to cancel. After consulting with his fellow coworkers they made it possible for my dad to be able to go in the different rooms with us as well as have an enjoyable time. I cannot thank them enough! #WeEscapedFromAlcatraz

Scheduling was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. On-site staff were welcoming and made hosting an event for 20 people very easy. It's so helpful that they let you bring in your own catering. I would bring another group here in a heartbeat!

My very first time doing an Escape room, loved the experience! Was challenging just enough. Me and my sisters almost made it out! Next time, we will.

We had a birthday party with 2 rooms reserved, King Tut’sTomb and Black Beards Booty. It was perfect to have the party room available for an hour afterwards. Parking and elevator to location was easy to find. Alexis was our game master and did a great job!

Unfortunately, a very disappointing customer service. The game we played was fun, but about half-time into it, when grabbing one of the hats in the cowboy room, a nail stung my hand. One of the 'wires', which felt like a nail got into my hand as it stuck out on a side of the hat which wasn't easily visible. You actually need the hat for the game! First, it took a couple of shouts for help until someone came. Then, while letting cold water run down my hand, it took them 5min to find the emergency kit. At the end, there was no real apology or any way of making up for this accident. Besides, they ask you to sign a waiver that allows them to use any of your videos or pictures in any advertising. Since they don't provide any offline copy (please don't use the environment as an excuse here!) you can't do anything and have to sign it in order to participate. Extremely intrusive if you already charge money and then one can't even do the experience without wondering if one's pictures or videos will show up on any platform.

Cool room! Loved having a live person in the room , had to tip with the money found for stories ie: hints. Fun time! Loved we all had side jobs to try and get done as well :)

Brought my team to Time to Escape to beat the King Tut's Tomb challenge and we made it out with just seconds to spare. Had a blast and we will be doing this again with a different scenario. Thanks to Alexis for making our experience just right!

This was so much fun!! Karlee was such a great part of the experience as our bartender in the game. We’ll have to come back to do the other rooms.

My kids and I had a great time at Time to Escape! We did Escape from Alcatraz and it was the perfect family experience. We've done a bunch of escape rooms and we were really impressed with the set, storyline, props, and clues for this room. We would definitely recommend this place and our guide, Tanner, was fantastic. The owner was also really friendly and took time to say hello and introduce himself. Can't wait to come back with family and friends and try other rooms at this place.

The escape room was not worth the $31 per person it should’ve been $10. We stayed in the same two rooms doing basically riddles the whole time. ( and not just because we lost). We was told by the man we got pretty far in the game. I feel it was false advertise because in the pictures it showed saloons but when I got there it only had western themes wall paper and paint on the walls and very few cheap props. My sister Joked the lady in the picture could’ve been his wife and Not a woman in western times). I also feel the music could’ve been louder with more things to do, and more rooms to go in it just wasn’t worth $31 per person maybe 10 and there’s also no free parking. Now I can understand why previous customers stole the tip jar. If u want a good time this just isn’t it.

Had a wonderful time doing Escape Alcatraz. Paul was our game master and not only was he super helpful - he was also very attentive and made our experience absolutely wonderful. His hints kept us heading in the right direction. They have valet parking - tips only. Great location, great design and awesome room. Thanks again Paul for taking such great care of us! Will definitely be back!

I’ve done many escape rooms and Time to Escape ranks as one of the best. The Western themed room was immersive with a great variety of puzzles to solve. We did it as a group of three and there was plenty of puzzle-solving to go around. All around a great time, and will definitely be back for more. Special should out to our host Tanner! He did a great job explaining how the room works and was always available by walkie-talkie when we needed hints. He was super personable and definitely added to the overall enjoyable experience.

Very creative room. Mediocre execution. When we arrived, we registered and paid, then waited and waited. Didn't see anyone until someone called me from Time to Escape and asked if we were coming. I explained we we're here waiting! Someone finally came out and started our instruction We were then taken to the room with our jackets, phones, etc. There was nowhere to put our jackets, purses, etc and we had to put them on the dirty floor. There was no timer so we had no idea how long we were taking. The first 15 minutes were fun as we got to know the room. The room itself - Escape from Alcatraz- was excellent - good flow, cool rooms, well put together. But after 15 minutes, the workers kept interrupting us to give us guidance and hints unprompted. At first we thought they were being helpful but then it got bothersome and really frustrated us. We didn't want to be rude but felt like we were being ushered in a rushed manner to the end. We completed the room with 13 minutes to spare - no surprise since they basically told us what to do - and we felt ushered out. Idk if there was another group that came early but despite a great room, it was an underwhelming experience. Would not come back.

The perfect way to celebrate the birthday of my goddaughter! Our group ranged in age from 12-57 and we ALL had a challenging and fun time. Lillie was our game mistress and she was terrific- giving us clues- but not making it easy.

We did a company event today that incorporated leadership training in addition to the escape room. Stefanie and Dan were great to work with and we had the best time! Tanner was great as James the Bartender in our escape room experience! Overall a great experience and would do it again in a heartbeat!

My daughter and I have returned several times and have now done all the rooms at Time to Escape. The best escape rooms in Atlanta, hands down!!! Highly recommend for a fun friends/family activity.

We had such a great time at this escape room! We did the Al Capone speakeasy room with the live narrator. Tanner was absolutely the BEST and made our experience fun and enjoyable! It was my first time doing an escape room and I can’t wait to go back to try out another one!

I enjoyed myself. This was my gender reveal.Once my group completed the last task ,we saw the envelope. I would have never thought of this for a gender reveal. But it was the best day ever.Adam was very helpful. We wouldn't have completed without him.

We’ve been here three times now, and we love it every time! Tanner was our guide and Nicole was working the front and they both did a fantastic job and built up our enthusiasm. We did King Tut this time, which is my favorite so far, although my boyfriend will insist the Speakeasy room is superior. Overall, whether you’ve done escape rooms before or not, you can’t go wrong here. We will definitely be back to try the last room!

First time ever doing an escape room and we think this place is awesome! Our group of four successfully completed the Alcatraz escape with 8 minutes to spare and only used two clues! Adam and Tanner were excellent hosts (I think they called themselves “game masters”)! They made playing this feel like an actual experience! We’ll definitely come back here to try another room!

  • 5/5 Justin J. 1 year ago on Google
We escaped the Alcatraz escape room. Dan Wood was awesome and provided just the right amount of hints! We came in a group of 9 so we had lots of minds working and were able to escape with 20 minutes to go! There's a bar inside and we were allowed to bring drinks in the prison - a nice perk!

Had an absolutely great time playing Al Capone’s Speakeasy. Our game master (unfortunately did not get his name, but we played the 4:45 time slot on Dec 27) definitely made our experience. He was so funny, very friendly, and was totally willing to play along with our antics, which we appreciate! Would recommend to any casual players, for sure. Loved the characters and side quests too.

My parents and I did the King Tut room here on Monday and it was a blast! Great room. My parents' only complaint was that it was dark and hard to see things (they give you lanterns but they aren't the brightest and there were only 2 for all 3 of us). I thought it added to the atmosphere of the room but I also have better eyesight than them. All the puzzles were good and the room itself was very cool. & Thank you to Tanner our game master, he was great!

So I chose this spot because of the reviews & it did not disappoint. It was so much fun & my family (my hubby & kids ages 10, 15, 18) had a great time. With the age differences it can be hard finding/agreeing on an activity. Time To Escape checked all of our boxes! Great outing for family or friends. It was challenging but not frustrating & getting close to the deadline & not wanting to use hints had our adrenaline pumping! We escaped from Alcatraz! We started planning which escape we were going to do next before we even left the plaza. The location was nice & the plaza had valet parking ($) which made it super convenient. The Game master was really cool & my hubby & I appreciated the bar (which we took advantage of while waiting for our reservation time). Highly recommend!

Celebrated a friend's birthday here and had the best time dressing up and doing Al Capone's room. Tanner was our bartender and source of narrative clues - he really made the experience special! Such a unique take on escape rooms and even sang karaoke afterwards. Really awesome staff! Highly recommend and hope to come back

If you enjoy being in character (or even if you don’t, like me) and are good at finding clues the Al Capone room is a must! We had such a great time doing the Al Capone room! Tanner played the in room actor and he was great. He stayed in character and was just so fun. It was a great time overall and Tanner explained the rules and the background story of the room clearly. We are from Miami and do many escape rooms, this was definitely a top 3!

We used Time to Escape as part of a corporate team day and everyone really enjoyed the fun and challenging game! I was concerned that the level of difficulty would be too easy for our group but the clues were definitely tailored to be appropriately hard. We even had to ask our game's host, Lou, for a little help, which he provided in clever ways. The game was a wonderful team building exercise and added a little fun competition between our two teams. Highly recommend.

Game master was helpful and at times too helpful. Would have liked to think about the puzzles and figure them out more instead of being carried along on some of it. The puzzles were really cool and fun but one or two didn't work properly. But other than that had a lot of fun ^___^

We did the Speakeasy Room with Alexis the Bartender and she was outstanding in every way! Helped us when we needed it, laughed along with us when we were having trouble but still seemed to make it authentic while adding her own flair! Just an enjoyment through and through. Kind of glad they don’t sell liquor on Sundays because I’m pretty sure that would have ended in us failing. Will recommend and will be back for another!
