This is a series of fairly small, in-town parks with some nice looking, man-made ponds that people seem to like using as photo backgrounds (I saw several people having professionals take their photos during my visits). There is also a kids playscape area along with some benches nearby. I didn't see any pavillions, picnic tables or BBQ areas, but I did notice a stone amphitheater (it looked like you'll need to provide seating, though). It might be important to note that this entire park is in a very low area (every entrance that I came across was a steep downhill path into the park - at least a 40 percent grade), so if it rains, I'd imagine that any event held there would need to be canceled due to flooding or excessive mud (unless your event is swimming or mudding).

Great wooden park with an old school feel. It is set in quiet Winn park with plenty of shady picnic areas with lots of grassy flat areas for private enjoyment. Ample mulch provide soft landings for those inevitable falls. A great alternative to a more secluded park outing over Piedmont park. With no nearby food options be sure to roll in packing... a lunch. If not there are lots of food options a short walk to Peachtree. Make a day out of it and couple this shady quiet park with a visit to the high museum. Old growth trees coupled with a slow paced neighborhood make this a great option to spend a few relaxing hrs.

Nice little park in Ansley. Not recommended when it’s wet - very dirty and messy, even staying in the small paths

The kids had so much fun. Nice, clean park. Wood chips on the play area, so make sure the kids have on the right shoes. There's also some shaded areas which make it bearable on hot days.

Nice wide grass area for sports or playing. Playground here. Nice little paths and a stone bridge with benches all over. Great escape from the city.

Beautiful park in Ansley, great for dog walks and relaxing. Fair warning, many neighbors let their dogs off leash in the park so take care if you have a reactive dog.

Great park for activities that features a ball area, playground, and space at the top which reminds me a bit of something that would be at the Botanical Gardens. Combined with Eubanks and Ansley park, Winn helps complete the trio for a nice (dog) walk in a beautiful neighborhood. Excellent for those who like to admire houses, and enjoy a bit of quiet while still in the heart of the city.

Lovely spot in Ansley park. There is a playground, a small creek, and plenty of space for dogs to run around. It's never miss at Winn Park.

Clean. Spacious. Nice playground equipment for toddlers (except the spiral slide which is fine for older kids). We took 2 year old grandkids.

Great park. Short walk from Marriott Residence Inn. Clean, little waterfall. The areas with the water are soothing to listen too. Beautiful place for photos.

What a beautiful park! It's only a couple of blocks away from the ugh museum, tucked into a quiet residential area. The park is pretty big and has a cute waterfall area, and tons of room to hang out with your friends or your dog. I had a picnic here with some friends and it was the perfect spot to transition from day to night with a be pretty view of Atlanta through the trees.

This place is a hidden gem in Midtown. It's a standard park, but that's what makes it great: It is locals only, filled with great people who have amazing dogs. You can see the tops of skyscrapers from here, but rest assured that you'll feel right at home here even though you're in the heart of Midtown.

It's hard to find shady parks. This one is only partially shady, but it is quiet and relatively cool. There is a modest collection of toys available.

One of my favorite parks in Atlanta! Parking available along the streets. There are beautiful ponds and streams in a wooded gully between the neighborhood roads.

Beautiful park with lovely swings to sit and contemplate life. There's also a playground for kids. Parking is a bit painful, but if you drive around reading signs you can find some.

Small park in the center of a neighborhood. We had an event here, Pirate party where we provided balloon swords for all of their little guests. No restroom but lots of grass for running and theirs also a small playground. The kids seemed to have alot of fun.

Very serene. Great location hidden in a neighborhood. Perfect to walk your dog, take a jog, swing, relax with a book while enjoying the beauty of Georgia trees.

  • 5/5 Rachel B. 10 months ago on Google
Beautiful little park, it felt like a nice breath of fresh air in the middle of the city. It is all below street level so I can imagine it would get muddy if it rains, but it’s fantastic on a warm sunny day with lots of trees to provide shade for a picnic.

I go to Winn Park all the time for engagement and family sessions. My clients love it because of how beautiful it is and the fact that's not usually very busy.

One of my favorite "little" parks in Atlanta. It's an absolutely gorgeous area that's like a five minutes walk from the High Museum or MODA and is worth the little trek just to enjoy this wonderful spot of nature in a classic Midtown neighborhood. Heck it's even got a little pond, iris garden and some neat little wondering trails through it.

Hidden gem sometimes overshadowed by the High Museum and Alliance theater, but great playground and spaces for all.

Sells the best Perfumes! The owner gives so much price reduction than usual! Great place to shop perfumes! I would definitely go again! I got “Be seduced” and “Filthy rich” together and he gave me almost 60percent off!

This is the best park in Atlanta, please don’t spoil it. It’s so precious and perfect, and a much better alternative to over-crowded Piedmont Park. You’ll often find families and couples taking professional photos here, romantic picnic dates, kids on the playground, and sweet pups running and playing. An idyllic neighborhood spot that locals can only hope to keep to themselves.

Nice little park! Has a small kid's area, a field and some walking areas if you have dogs. Not much parking though.

  • 3/5 Clear S. 4 years ago on Google
If you live in the surrounding neighborhood, you're a kid trying to play a pick-up game of football, a dog mom or dad in need of walking your precious pooch then this park is a satisfactory cutaway for all those things from the looming busy city just a mile or two away however this isn't the sort of park you'd ever want to travel out of your way to visit. Even though there are technically a few places to park, those parking spots are in front of people's homes and it's hard to feel like you aren't being invasive.
