Love this dog park! It’s a couple acres fenced in and has people and dogs coming and going constantly. Has walkable trails alongside of it so you can get some people-watching in and because of the size of the park and central location, the dogs will always have some friends to play with. I love watching my dog frolic until he’s just totally tired out. The big boulders were a nice touch too.

This is tucked right into Piedmont Park by the demonstration orchard. It has two sides- one for large and one for small dogs. There are some small boulders to sit on or for the larger dogs to jump off or around. There are a couple of water fountains that work for the dogs and there is a beautiful restroom/park house nearby. We rented a scooter and zoomed up and down the length of the park and let our dogs chase us on the inside of the fence and it was great cardio…for THEM! Truly a blast. Friendly people, friendly dogs, and a beautiful environment.

To say this is a great dog park is an understatement. What a beautiful spot, huge long run for the pooches.

Our Calcifer loves the small dog park. He really enjoy the ample space and the friendly dogs that come to visit. Visiting from NJ this dog park is very well up-kept and owners do a great job of cleaning up after their dogs. The big dog park is also massive with plenty of space.

It's huge but only have 2 spots for water. Our dog found a long muddy pad near the fence... she had a lit of fun though!

Very good size for both large and small dogs. We stayed in the small dog side because one of my dogs is scared of large dogs. Really enjoyed the size of the small dog side and i liked the mulch on the ground, i was originally afraid that it was dirt but was presently surprised. Definitely coming back abed would highly recommend.

One of the two water fountains for the dogs was broken, but otherwise a very nice, extremely large dog park. Even the biggest dogs on the busiest days won't feel too crowded.

My dog loves it here! Dogs are always so friendly and so much space for them to run around. People do a pretty good job at not bringing big dogs in the small area so thats a major plus.

Small dog park is flooded and under repair. But the large dog area is up and running. Lots of space for both.

Great dog park! We're usually there Sunday mornings around 8am, so it's not too crowded. Unfortunately, that early, there are only a few dogs on the small dog side. Sometimes we go to the big dog side but my dog doesn't like rough play so we're not in there for too long. That said, we just started going here--4th time--and most of the dogs are well behaved and friendly.

Again in the dark part is part of the apartments in Piedmont Parkwhere people who own dogs come to that their dogs play with other dogs so they can get it on

The park is great but do not follow the directions Google Maps provides you. These specific directions lead you to a private business lot with 24/7 surveillance. With cameras and other people reporting your vehicle, they WILL boot your car if you park here and go to the park. There is a public parking garage nearby. Look for that instead.

This park was great when I started but now there is no poop bags and people dont pick-up after their dog so there are landmines everywhere. It's starting to look trashy.

This is a gem in the middle of the city for everyone, family, singles, married, everyone who loves nature and all the activities that you can do in a place like Piedmont Park. Particularly if you like 🐕🐕🐕 and if you have one, sometimes is hard to find a place where they can freely run, but here you will find a spot, not only with a respectful and friendly community that love and care for pets, but a place big enough and safety where they can run and socialize with other dogs 🐕🐕🐕 while having fun. Don't miss the opportunity to bring your dog and enjoyed it 😊

Very close to the parking deck - come in on the first level and follow the signs. Restrooms, water fountains, separate spaces for small and large dogs, benches. Google maps might direct you to park at Amsterdam Walk but they boot anyone who leaves the property, so hit the deck!

It's my second time here. It's very clean for the most part. The little dog area is not as fun as the large dog area. The ground is very steep and the trees are easy over grown. Thankfully my sweet Babygirl is used to large dogs. Except we were limited to throwing her ball because of the large dogs. So if anyone cares that reads this that can make a change please at least cut away all the trees away from the fence line so we have more open ground to play on.

Love the dog park...Love you lady ✌😁🥰..

  • 4/5 Don W. 4 years ago on Google
Very large dog parks, one for small dogs and the bigger one for all sizes. Besides needing more shade trees and maybe some dog friendly training set ups, this park is great. It is near the parking garage if you do not want to walk your dog for a very long time to get there from Midtown or VAHI.

The best dog park around! So spacious! But they need to fix one of the two water stations in the large dog park, the gates, and the drainage in the small dog park.

Dogs were enjoying off leash oops. Owners never lost control of their canines. Canines interacted positively with one another.

Snooty dog owners- won’t say much as hi. But that’s Atl. Can’t hate on the park. Love that they put bark down so even after rain it’s a help.

  • 3/5 Shannon K. 2 years ago on Google
The park itself is quite large and it's broken into two areas for small and large dogs, which is nice. There are usually plenty of dogs around during the day when the weather is nice. I take my dog here quite often! My only gripes are how difficult it can be to get there sometimes with Atlanta traffic, and also the dog park areas are only dirt and wood chips, no grass or anything for them. But otherwise, it does the job!

So much fun. Grabbed a King of Pop and a delicious drink from a vendor and basked in the sun on a rock as my best friend's dog made new doggy connections.

Lovely fenced in area, split for big and small dogs. Offers a water spout for the dogs, with a bowl for them to drink from.

My pup loves it, what more can I say?

  • 5/5 matthew g. 2 years ago on Google
Large dog park. One area is for dogs less than 30lbs. The other area is for dogs larger than 30lbs. Don’t bring any toys that can be popped or torn apart, because that is precisely what will happen to them. Don’t bring treats either unless you want every dog in the park “hounding” you.

I love coming here to dog watch and get some fresh air -- it's one of the biggest dog parks intown. There's a fenced-in area of small dogs and a separate one for larger dogs (or dogs with a larger personality), plenty of water, and some rocks to sit on. Worth a visit!

Nice large park where a good amount of people are out for the majority of the day with their doggies. Only complaint is the water fountains are on and off which can be difficult if you do not bring water for your pets.

Great dog park. There’s one for big dogs and one for smaller dogs. The only thing I dislike is that one side of the big dog park is pretty much always muddy unless it hasn’t rained in weeks.

Big dogs! Little dogs! Medium dogs! SO MANY DOGS. I've never been to a park that had so many canines, and it was absolutely a blast for the young man pictured. He was so exhausted so quickly 🤣

Nice roomy park for the dogs to run around and play although the fencing could use a little maintenance.

This is an excellent dog park, and many people come. I go with my border collie to this park at least once a week, and there are many dogs for him to play and run with. There are two dog parks - one for small dogs and one bigger ones. The big dog area is enormous! My dog enjoys going to the park and is always so excited when he finds out we are going to Piedmont park. Awesome park!

My dog and I go here every weekend! Sometimes 2x a week if I have time. I have a Frenchie that plays in both the small dog and big dog park! We always have a good time. Both parks are huge and have plenty of room to run and play. There are always so many other dogs for him to ply with and they are all pretty well behaved! Our favorite dog park in Atlanta

Form before the sun peeks from the horizon until late at night. Atlanta's K9 citizens have some how managed to convince their bi-pedal care workers to bring them to one of the most active social spots in all the city. With smells to be smelled in every blade of grass or up right stick. Not to mention endless buddies to play with and dirt to chase each other on. The generous and well appointed watering dishes are a great place to meet others an perhaps smell a hind part. There is no doubt that Peidmont's K9 social center is of the highest quality and best in class.

We had a good time for a first time and we'll definitely have to go back and be there longer. I wasn't expecting everything there that was there so I plan to be there for the 30 minutes, had I known everything that was there was there I would have definitely planned better to be there and earlier. It opened up as it was busy not really busy but lots of people nevertheless and the dog park was kind of hard to find, found it on our way leaving out but other than that everything was fine.
