A neat space though like so many areas near MARTA stations, there's a population of residentially-challenged folks. They didn't disturb us as we passed through and we didn't disturb them. So many different restaurants and bar spaces and generally cool shopping spots. We had a good time!

A very nice park with an awesome community garden and historic information about. Many branches and tables are around with many shops and restaurants. I joined the Hanukkah celebration there, it was such an awesome experience.

Nice space between a lot of restaurants and stores. Clean area, with gazebos for entertainment to play potentially. Artificial turf, near lots of large trees. Unfortunately, there are only portable potties unless you buy something in the local restaurants. Located centrally to a Marta stop.

What a very cool area - a gazebo- gorgeous planters filled artistically planted annual plants- surrounded by shops and great people watching. Highly recommend stopping here. And a great way to disguise a meteor station!

Very nice park with an awesome community garden and historic info. Plenty of seating, tables with umbrellas for eating or resting. A lot of shops. A pleasant surprise to run into and enjoy. The only down side is the homeless hang around and while that does not bother me what so ever and do not bother anyone the trash that is left behind is crazy. Its obvious that its not tourists or visitors trash bc its mainly books and clothes, clothing irons, dirty clothes, and rando trash left in heaping piles. A side from that one thing a pretty neat place.

Omg we had a wonderful time at the Decatur Wine festival. We dance, sing, and taste all types of wine. I laugh so much, I cried. Lol. It could have been the wine.. 🤣😂😁 The square was nice and clean. We enjoyed every minute of the festival.

It is always a pleasure to spend some leisurely time with family here. My three years old grand daughter loves to run around in this well maintained square. There are plenty of restaurants around and at least two wonderful ice cream parlors nearby.

Great spot to get some fresh air and do some shopping (and grab a bite to eat + drinks). You’ll see kids playing soccer here on the grass sometimes. I like how it’s decorated for the holidays too. There isn’t a lot of parking by the Little Shop of Stories so you might want to find street parking or a garage.

I like this place a lot, it’s very nice and safe, but around it always there are homeless people, most are fine, but some can be a bit aggressive and I hope the government can help them.

Had a great time at 2023 Beacon Hill Concert...one issue is the mics needed a little more volume for some guests.

Great atmosphere! Loved the We Fyre Cypher. The crowd was diverse and smiling ear to ear while watching the dancing.

Great place to have a photoshoot in Decatur. I’m a photographer and I just moved here and I already had a few photoshoots with my clients in the area. Instagram: @couvanos

Nice place to hang out, but could do with a lot more greenery. Otherwise a pretty nice town square. Easy access to lots of store fronts, including ice cream, restaurants, boutiques, and book shops. There’s a MARTA station right underneath. There are lots of events hosted there. A fountain or something would be a nice addition.

I went to the Decatur Square for the concert and fireworks. I arrived shortly after 6:00pm. The Square was at about 30% of capacity. My favorite treat of the day was a lady walking on stilts. She was very entertaining. She took pictures with the visitors and danced to the music. Within less an hour a heavy rain started. I did not wait see if the rain would stop.

Not bad... but not really much to do, except eat, walk, and eye the little arts and crafts shops.

We visit here often. The green space, the fountain for children, the stage, surrounding shops, bars and eateries lend to the feeling of Relaxation and Community. With provided Adirondack Chairs, Bench swings and hightop seating around the community you will be able.to take in the sights as well as the fresh air.

The restaurants were good near the square but the port-a potties were definitely an eye sore. It could definitely use some clean up!

Decatur- Small- town charm with a big- city vibe according to "KNOWAtlanta" magazine. Downtown square, recognized as one of USA Today's "Top 10" public squares and located just a quick trip via MARTA from Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Beautiful green spaces and sooo much more!

The Decatur Wine Festival was excellent as always. The music, fun, vendors and wine aficionados make this a super annual event.

It is a nice place but I think it time to pressure wash the area. You have dogs walking through there. Don't want to be eating and smell where dogs have been. They have artificial turf in some areas. Dogs should stay off. It's a nice area to have a blanket and lay down. Marta is near.

Helped man the booth for Decatur Makers during Decatur Arts Festival. It was delightful seeing the faces of the kids light up when they see the button they helped make. Very emotionally rewarding.
