They should really change the name of this to Brookhaven Dog Park. Not suitable for individuals that want to walk/run/jog without an animal (see pics for condition of walking trail and overgrown grass). There is a fairly decent maintained Basketball court with a kids playground and a few portable toilets. Be aware that a few park visitors did not have their dogs on a leash outside of the fenced areas. On a positive note, it was very roomy for dogs to roam and explore within the fenced areas.

Amazing and chill place to bring your dogs. The only issue is that there are a couple places with broken glass and ceramics in the park--near the parts of fence where the creek runs through it, and in the creek near the bridge closest to the main gate... Our dog sliced open her paw one time but we still came back - we just keep our dogs away from those areas. Do the same and you should be fine's. Fun park! (Depending on your dog, there is a big field your dog can use off-leash as well).

Huge park with TONS of room for your dogs to explore. Everyone I've met here is very friendly and the park is big enough to social distance even if there are a lot of people there. Our dogs LOVE this park. There are open areas, wooded areas and even a little creek.

Sigh. Another potentially great park neglected by it's users and maintainers. It can be confusing to find the park to begin with, and once you manage to the entrance is blocked by a giant branch. Broken fences, overgrown pathways, overflowing trash bins and trash laying around everywhere. What good is a hand washing station if there isn't a hand drying station? This park is very big, and could be beautiful if people bothered to maintain it properly.

I love it here! The dogs have so much free space to play and interact. I love the creek as well! Adds to the beauty and experience

Great off leash dog park!!! Lots of space and a little creek where the doggos swim. A nice walk for the hoomans, too. Small parking lot but we've always found a spot. The park never feels crowded and most dog owners who come here are very responsible. There's even a baby pool near the outside basket ball court where the pups can cool down after a day of play!

Love everything about this park! Huge open space with lots of nooks and crannies for all the dogs to find. There's a little creek, a couple of bridges, wide open space, lots of shady treed areas and tons of benches for people to sit. Swings too! Love all the birds and squirrels running around. Girls loved chasing them. The trails are nice all around the perimeter, including a huge covered patio are with tables for a picnic gather or puppy party!

Rather muddy quite often and a little run down but great place to take pet. Dog area is fenced off which is nice.

Our favorite dog park in ATL. Huge area with distinct little areas and a creek. Rarely do we see fights or other problems with poor ownership. An absolute treat every time we go. The name could possibly be changed to reflect its dog-centric nature.

Ahhhh this is a really sweet park and near to where I was visiting a friend. Lots of nature and cute wild animals scurrying about. The dog park is really big and everyone is very kind and courteous with their doggies. Only a couple folks let their pups poo on the grass and not scoop it lololo...people, you can do it 💪🏼. lol I look forward to visiting again. If I had lots of money 🥰, I would share it here so they could make more improvements. Pics next visit 🤞

Best dog park in Atlanta. Nice dogs and people. Fenced and clean.

What an incredible dog Park! It's got to be one of the better ones in Atlanta. My puppy had an awesome time at his first dog park

So much green space. Great space for off leash. A lot of broken flower pots :(

We've been to over 15 dog parks in GA and this is probably overall the best. The field is big, cool creek, and my dogs honestly loves it (they always get extra excited when we park). The only drawback is that there isn't a fountain in the dog park so you have to bring your own water and bowl.

Lots of running area for the pups and a creek to cool off in. Would be more ideal if there were water spickets scattered on the grounds for dogs.

It is a nice park but it is very abandoned, it could be a much better park, it has a lot of space to enjoy, but the children's games are horrible, if you just want to bring your dog for a walk it will be fine, but unfortunately this park is very abandoned

Best dog park in the area! Large with wooded area, meadow, trails (you can walk a mile or more) stream, plenty, of dogs to play with n mostly friendly people if that is what you want. My dog,Noir, loves it!

  • 3/5 Shawn R. 1 year ago on Google
A lot of potential. Huge dog park, but no water for the dogs inside the park, and none of the restrooms work, only w very gross porta-potties serving the entire park

  • 3/5 Jana V. 1 year ago on Google
If you have bigger dog, park is great. If you have smaller and shy dog or puppy there may be a problem. Dogs ( all breeds including pitbuls )are running of leash inside and " outside "of the fanced park. Some owners are careless hippies and they have no Idea how to control they "first "dog.

Good space to walk. They have a dog park and the cutest dogs. Very dog friendly.

The park is. Nice sized fields to bring your dogs for exercise and play. Amenities are falling apart but nice place to bring the dogs.

It was nice with the exception of most of it is fenced off for construction. It's also used for a dog park. And I love me some dogs. Every dog was well trained and I didn't hear not 1 growl. Nice and spacious shade included.

3/4 of the park is currently closed, fenced off for construction. Dog park is also closed.

Great dog park, plenty of dogs and people here regularly... after work on weekdays and weekends you can expect 40 50 dog/owners. Plenty of room and all the amenities your pup needs.

  • 3/5 tsw m. 3 years ago on Google
Great green open space, special fenced dog park...but on a quiet non weekend day...the whole park is our playground!

  • 3/5 Allegra S. 3 years ago on Google
This park is okay....very strange entrance and parking situation. The inside is nice, but overall is kind of sketchy looking. I wouldn’t come again.

Big park. All inclusive, no separate quarters for big dogs and little dogs.

  • 5/5 Tim Y. 3 years ago on Google
The dog park even has a doggie drinking fountain!!

  • 5/5 Jenn L. 3 years ago on Google
This is the best dog park in Atlanta. There is a ton of open space and even a small creek for the pups to play in.

  • 5/5 Wes H. 3 years ago on Google
Giant dog park! So many puppers to pet and enjoy while walking the loop.

Park needs maintenance. This park has potential but looks very run down.

  • 5/5 Taylor C. 4 years ago on Google
Awesome dog park with plenty of space for big dogs to really sprint! After rainy days, mud puddles do form so just be aware of that. There’s also a nice little walking trail if you’d rather walk with your dog off leash.

Just looking at from the parking lot, I cant say a lot, but parking has many puddles and holes that you need to be careful

  • 5/5 Chaayne B. 3 years ago on Google
Great space for dogs. Rolling hills. Paths. Bridges. Creek. Trees. Squirrels. Pavillion.Entrance to park is tight and parking is limited. Seems like early mornings b4 9 is the sweet spot. Not too many bodies.

    Great dog park!

  • 4/5 Tracy O. 3 years ago on Google
Love this dog park, very spacious. There’s a creek as well. Most of the dogs are medium to large. However, I’ve also noticed every time I go there’s at least one owner who brings their small dog or very young puppy and gets frustrated with the other owners when their dogs run up and play.

A classic hiking spot for me though I haven't in a while. It's a very mild hiking spot with a breathtaking view of LA to the top. Even in the midst of winter, LA weather just cannot be beat. Always a beautiful day no matter the season you come. I do however recommend coming in early morning if you're hiking in the summer.

Nice creek for the dogs to play in and big area!

  • 5/5 MamaJ 3 years ago on Google
Excellent dog park! Plenty of room with grass and a creek which my dog loved. It's kept very clean as well. There is not a separate small and large dog area so it's a good idea to consider if your dog does well with all sizes. People were also excellent with social distancing which was very appreciated.

Love this dog park! Its by far the biggest enclosed dog park in the area. Puppers can do their favorite things - find a friend to run with, ignore everyone and sniff, splash around in muddy water....
