This was a great urban trek, my favorite parts were finding the mini bamboo forest and crossing the creek via the concrete dam/bridge. Felt like I was a kid again playing in the woods! 😊 The parking was street parking and plentiful. Enjoy!

Beautiful place to walk with pets & the family, or to have some solitude. Definitely bring OFF in the warmer months though due to swarms of mosquitoes

Nice area. Quiet. Shaded. Trail is not well marked, but not needed.

I run here several mornings per week. Relatively flat, muddy often. Largest loop is just under 0.8 miles. Peaceful.

There are a lot of huge old trees here, including the 2005 Atlanta champion tree winner. It's a beautiful place for photos and not too difficult for very young children, and there are a lot of access points to the creek. In the summer it would be deeply shaded, and in fall there's probly a lot of mushrooms on the many fallen trees and branches and hillsides. It is VERY muddy whenever there are a few days of rain, but the mud & puddles don't get deeper than an inch so if you are careful you may not need boots. Accessibility: for the most part the trails are flat and wide, but there is no entrance that isn't steep, and the Daniel Johnson entrance has a stream-crossing with no bridge, while the Howard Taylor entrance has a bridge with two very steep steps.

It's a beautiful park! The trees are truly majestic! It's a small park, but the creek is just amazing! Please clean up after your pup! And a leash is recommended! I'm not a leash guy. But the reptiles are present! The lizards are chill, copperhead, less so!

A lot of fun! A few skinny/treacherous spots, but overall an easy hike. And the "beach" at South Fork Peachtree Creek is fantastic!

Nice trail. Some parts of the trail had a lot of gravel which I didn't like. But there were only two I believe like that. Very quiet, peaceful, and great for me and my dog!

You’ll see various of the views: sandy beach, clear creek, and even with a secret bamboo forest. The hike is very short and easy, good for after work walk.

This reserve has a lot to offer for an urban location: a feeling of seclusion at times, light use so friendly dogs can go off-leash. a little bamboo forest if you can find it, and a creek with a "beach" that your dog can easily access. Little in the way of rugged terrain or steep hills.

Air was very fresh, other than the river having q runoff pipe, this was a very clean park.

A great little spot to go and relax in Atlanta. There are some nice big rocks to sit on and watch the river flow. Cool trails to explore. A good requiem from the hustle and bustle of Atlanta.

Another great place to explore Peachtree creek. Access is from a neighborhood but there is room for street parking. There are a number of wooded trails with great water views and bridges.
