Nice cool park. You have to follow the gravel road to the park. It has a playground area, football/track field. It's a nice tucked away space. The pool is closed currently.

OK, so you are in the hood, so you can only set your standards but so high at this place. Staff seems nice, individual athletic teams seem to be a bit unorganized, but their little league football team is really good -stat wise. Parking is really limited &facility is kept up pretty well, but again, this is the hood, and some of the parents.. are a hot mess

Located in the historic Aftican American neighborhood of Pittsburgh which was founded in 1883. Used for association meetings and more!

I really haven't been to the park til recently. It still looks nice after all these years. I grew up in Pittsburgh and Mechanicsville and we went to pittman often to swim and play ball. Being older now and seeing how atlanta has changed,i really appreciate places like this even more.

Good place for an outside getaway. People litter every now and then but I come here every day to let my dog run around and enjoy every second. Wish the community building was used more for something, but the overall obscurity of it makes for good solitary visits.

This is a Neighborhood park, it's fairly big with a huge recreation center and a extremely huge swimming pool. There's one large gazebo on the side of the rec-building in the front, that could seat a group of 30+.There is a playground in the back of the rec- center and it's a nice side Field where people usually have football, softball, soccer, baseball games

Mrs. Franchise is an excellent facilitator. She needs a raise. Why didn't Atlanta use the land where the old Thomasville heights apartments were

It's an okay park but the facility has good programs for the children in the neighborhood. A good jungle gym and fitness area. Full size football field. Only problems are that it's very close to utilized train tracks which are dangerous for kids and the park has some problems with used trash near the bushes.

#amenscorner It's a wonderful swimming pool in a older community of Pittsburgh with plenty of certified life guards on staff. They have a free summer lunch program for all the children in the communities with wonderful inspirational instructors

I was there to attend the repast for Angela Woods; it was a very nice tribute to her. Relatives and friends reflecting on her life, with fond memories of "Ann."

Hated this park is not for small kids and the pool closes to early

This is really where i was raised. I went to Dunbar from 1st to 5th grade. And Started 6th grade at Parks Middle School. Just below Pittman Park

They really need to fix this park up. Holes in the football field can cause an injury to players.
