D.H. Stanton Park

Tourist attraction Park

👍 Not great shade yet but it's a nice park with various playground equipment and a splash pad. If you have a heavy, child carrying bike, you can't really get there from the BeltLine so take the neighborhood streets. People often mention park, kids, nice, Great, area, splash, love, clean, Nice, playground,

Absolutely love this park. Great area for kids to play. Beautiful green grass to play ball, run, walk, yoga. I love to lay on a blanket and read while soaking up all the vitamin D I can. I love the sun 🌞. The park also has restrooms.

It was good for the group of kids I volunteered with. Plenty of space and freedom. Good for families and just groups of kids needing somewhere to go.

Awesome park with good parking. Some heavy bugs during the summer but you’re probably fine with some spray! Good little league field and nice covered areas as well.

One of our favorite playgrounds. I love the variety of play structures. Not just a traditional playground structure, but also mounds to climb, jump off of, hide behind, and run around. And our son really loves the splashpad. It's never too crowded, there are bathrooms, lots of tables, and it's in close beltline proximity. All are big pluses in my book.

It is in good shape and has interesting equipment pieces. Great for 4 year old kids. The splash worked as advertised, which was a plus.

Cool playground and plenty of covered seating for parties, but the water splash area is the really unique attraction. Great for extra hot days. Woulda been 5 stars if there was basketball

Awesome park for kids. One of the best in Atlanta. Several play areas, a slashpad, and a bunch of green grass for dogs. Up there with with Old 4th Ward Park except for less people. Definitely going back!

First time going to this park with my daughter and friends, and we loved it! This is the perfect place to celebrate birthdays, workout, and relax. The area is very clean and it seems safe. It has so many options to keep children entertained. I can't wait to go back!!!

My 2yr old grand son had a marvelous time playing in the water fountain, swings, rocking dinosaur, others he didn't get too. Parents were pleasant and mindful of their kids. Benches to seat. Very clean. Good Job Parks and Rec!!

Park was really nice. Extremely clean, about 3 different playgrounds, nice open Field, lots of walking/riding trails. Scooters available to ride. My kids had a blast. Wish the water was working, it was a really hot day and parking sucks.

  • 5/5 Sariah T. 5 years ago on Google
Water feature! The water turned off at 7:45pm when we came. Tiny medium and large playsets for kids, lots of swings and other jungle gym equipment. Pretty trails to walk and a small softball field. Covered pavillion with charcoal grills and seating for parents

Nice park playground splash pad fountain. The fountain is not all the way functional, a few of the water spout down pour wasn't working June 2022 when we were there. Restrooms open green fields trails plenty of tree shades pavilion. Parking on side streets seems to be limited. Overall good place for parents to bring kids

Took a 15 min walk from Grant Park bc they have a splash pad.. Got here with my 3yo son and it's on but the water wasn't draining properly so I'm sure the city haven't checked to see if it's up to code... Place for bacteria to grow.. Unacceptable...

Great park with a playground that is never crowded. My toddler loves the splash pad during the summer.

  • 5/5 Sharon M. 1 year ago on Google
Wonderful park to visit because it offers so many amenities for the entire family to enjoy like: Kiddy Splash pool Picnic area w/Grill 3 Playground areas set to all ages and if you want to just walk around there's a Walking Path to enjoy nature's scenery too. Oh, did I mention, plenty of lush green, wide open ground to enjoy Tossing a football as well! This place is absolutely Awesome! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the visit and I highly recommend a visit and be sure to bring along your favorite sunscreen and enjoy the Day!

It was fun. We played on all the playgrounds they had. The ice cream truck stopped by. That was a nice treat. Cons: There was a woman smoking weed near the entrance of the park. Of course I could smell it. Apparently a old man punched a women and hit her son.

Nice, quiet, small park with a walking loop and plenty of places for group activities (grilling, group meals, kid activities). It’s not flashy but it’s a nice neighborhood place to go for morning walks, which is what I used it for while visiting a friend in the neighborhood.

Nice facility. A good spot for family activities. Keep your eyes open as kids can wander off very quickly. Only street parking.

The bathroom area has some improvements that need to be addressed. The shrubs need to be cared for, especially on the stairs near the open field area. I'm not sure how often the field grass or green space area gets cut, but the bees are out, and so are their stingers.

Came for a kickball event with my husband @bodybyjude personal trainer and Nutritionist and @msbasketball1. My 7 yr old son had fun and made friends with other kids his age. Great park totally enjoyed. Need better parking but overall had fun on the swings and play area as well as the softball area.

Beautiful sprayground /slash pad in potentially dangerous neighborhood. Police raid taking place directly across the street last time I went. Also, to conserve water, it turns off. You have to press a red button in the floor in the center of the splashpad. These instructions are not obvious.
