Edit: This has been resolved for me. However, be extra diligent about canceling if you sign up. Make sure you have it in writing and proof of cancellation. It seems that ownership has changed since I first signed up there and the facilities were nice while I was there so changing my rating but leaving my original review for reference. Find it below. TL;DR DO NOT SIGN UP. IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL. The facility was fine when I went for about a year, but then I moved out of state. I requested a cancellation in person at that time (a year ago) and from what I was told then assumed it was taken care of. Nope. I mainly use my credit card for things so I happened to review my bank account to see that they'd kept charging me for AN ENTIRE YEAR. At this stage in my life, my budget is much tighter so I immediately went to the Anytime Fitness site. There's a form to contact. I did that and no response over the next couple days. I called a couple times and left a voicemail. Nothing. I called my bank and told them to stop payment and ONLY THEN DID THEY CONTACT ME. Like seriously? So I ask them to cancel so I can put it behind me and they ask for proof of contact EVEN THOUGH THEY DON'T HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS TO EMAIL ON THEIR SITE. So they make it so the only means of contact are basically "untraceable" and then ask for proof so you can cancel. Please don't get screwed like I did. Or if you decide to anyways. When you're ready to cancel, tape a letter to the door, send them a letter, fill out their stupid form, and take a picture of all of it and then do a stop payment so when they contact you then you can send them the proof that you reached out.

I have sent several emails and no response to calls, I work during the day so hard to get there when it is staffed. I need to cancel my membership and i just want a response, NOT another withdrawal out of my account. As a positive the equipment is nice, i just do not live close enough to the location and will be relocating to where there are none around. Seems very bad business to not let someone cancel, borderline unethical. From the reviews it seems like I’m not the only one

It's fine. Has most of what most people need but honestly is lacking in a lot of ways. Some thoughts: There's no reason why there should only be 3-4 extremely beat up and falling apart yoga mats for a gym where there is frequently 5-10+ people. Especially when the only real places to stretch are either a hard wood floor or this awful rough "carpet" area that straight tears up your skin. The machines are lacking. Four squat/bench racks is nice but having only two adjustable cable machines (well really one if someone is using both) is not. The only stairmaster here squeaking so loud that it can't be used is irritating. This is more of a complaint for anytime as a whole but how are you charging people for tanning when I can't even find a functional tanning bed? I moved down recently and they made it sound like tanning is a common thing, and they definitely didn't mention that it seems like no gyms within a 10 mile radius (maybe more?) Have no functional tanning bed to use yet I'm paying for it. It's really not a bad gym for the casual gym goer. But if you're a casual gym goer you are going to have a hard time justifying spending 3x the price for a place that doesn't have more to offer than the massive $10/mo places. If you're heavily into weightlifting and things like that you might want to seek out more of a barbell/powerlifting/bodybuilding gym

The A/C doesn't work and the management doesn't seem to care. It was 80 the last few times I've gone. Don't join unless you don't mind working out in a really hot stuffy gym.

I have been trying to cancel my membership now I have been trying to cancel my membership for 2 months I explain I am on marta however convenient my job location has changed and it is 2hours away from where I work or live after trying for 2months AND PAYING 2 MONTHS I DID NOT USE THE MEMBERSHIP Musa the gym manager says I need a 30 day notification and they are still going to charge me and charge me 25 for the key fob after me paying 40 for 2 months and arguing with them trying to get them to cancel the membership then he tells me it can go to collections and report on my credit after for 2 months I've been trying to cancel the membership

The club is starting on show wear and tear and the owner is not putting any money into keeping it in good condition. The water fountain has been broken for about 5 months. One of the recumbent bikes has been broken for weeks. A lot of the machines need a tune up. The yoga mats are literally falling apart. I emailed the owner and got no response. This guy doesn’t care. $50 a month isn’t cheap and in this neighborhood, people expect better. I will say that Louis West is a great trainer!!!

In town for work from New Orleans and looking at the reviews for the other gyms in the area I chose to come here. Lots of equipment to use and everything is clean! Was not disappointed, and will be back when I come back for work!

I don't live close by this location, but I stopped in one morning while I was in the area. The gym is functional and clean. I would advise them to invest in a few foam rollers, as that seemed to be the only equipment missing that many others have. Good selection of equipment, and plenty of cardio machines. The A/C issue mentioned in other reviews has been resolved. Bathrooms were very clean. Also, maybe invest in a bigger block of cubby holes for patrons. The ones in club are sort of small. But it's a reliable club. Cant speak to staff, because I visited early in the morning before staff hours.

I have attempted to cancel my membership several times since March. Every time I call there is no answer. Whenever I stop by, there are no employees there. Instead, I’ve been getting charged since March for a membership I am not using.

Anyone that has come to this gym for the last 3 years like I have and has been disappointed by the poor cleanliness, poor management, overbearing trainers (not theirs) not letting other members work out on the machines, the staff talking inappropriate to woman and totally ignoring any concerns you have, that’s over with! This gym is like walking into a 5 star hotel! The staff greets you and I actually feel safe now! So many amazing upgrades throughout!

I came to the gym because I'm from out of town and thought the facility was good but what I did not like was this staff that came up to me in an aggressive way to tell me that I was dropping the weights too hard. Others were dropping weights enough to hear in the whole gym but I felt like I was singled out due to being from out of town. If he came up to me in a nicer way I wouldn't have taken it offensively. Next time tell your customers in a nicer way.

Gym is super clean and has all the basics. People are really nice and respectful (everyone racks their weights and is willing to help with a spot). Abundant parking as well and it’s never too crowded.

I visited 3 nearest Anytime Fitness gyms in this area, this one is nasty. Other 2 were clean. 2 of 5 paper towel boxes didn’t work, I couldn’t clean the machines because no paper towels in the gym, they had only disinfectants in a gym. In the restroom I used paper towels box but it issues only 5 inches of paper towels - guys you should make even shorter paper towels because clients can still use it! Machines in the weights area installed close to each other so I could not use one for biceps.

The gym is ok. There are rarely wipes to clean anything though. I would leave a better review, but trying to cancel my membership has been ridiculous. It has been the stereotypical behavior you think of about cancelling gym memberships. I joined a different location. Anytime corporate changed my "home club" to this one without asking me. I have never talked to any staff at this location. Then when I told them I wanted to cancel because I don't live close enough to an Anytime Fitness anymore they: 1-suddendly they had no power and I had to work with the club, 2-they told me that they forwarded my request to the club, but I never heard from them, 3-just ignored my emails after that. Now, I have emailed and called this specific location and have not received a response. I resorted to emailing the payment processor in the agreement. I had a decent experience using Anytime Fitness locations all over the country while traveling, but the cancellation experience has completely soured my opinion.

This is a 24/7 gym with the advantage of working out anytime. The facility is clean, spacious and has good trainers. Reasons why this is not 5 star is because there are no group fitness classes and could do better in replacing gym wipes. I've never had to wait to use an equipment or any of the free weights. There's a nice studio area to do floor exercises and agility. This gym caters to most fitness enthusiasts. Lastly, cancelling or freezing membership at this location is not a gigantic pain! Keep up the good work Marlon and team!

This anytime fitness has all the equipment you need. I really like the atmosphere here. I've been to other anytime fitnesses in Spring Hill FL and the staff there was unfriendly, didn't care about visitors and they would size us up. This anytime fitness on the otherhand is the opposite of that. The manager said hello to us and was very friendly. It's very clean and it has everything you need for a good workout.

80 degrees inside!!! The owners of this location PURPOSEFULLY turn OFF their A/C after hours and on the weekends just to save a dime. This is corrupt and absolutely not ok, or ethical. When promoted about the absurd heat, they say that the “A/C is broken, and that they’re working on it.” What’s the point of belonging to a 24/7 gym if it’s unusable????

Today I had an awesome consultation experience with the trainer Marlon. He was able to help me on my problem areas and to teach me some new alternate techniques. Very knowledgeable and personable. Exactly what I needed. Thanks Anytime Fitness.

Decent gym, good equipment, good setup. The group fitness room's ac has been out for months at stays at a burning 78 degrees.. so it's unusable and they seem to have no desire to fix it. But one pro is the personal trainer Scott is friendly and welcoming and creates a friendly environment in the gym when he's there . Overall, clean and good gym

I joined Anytime Fitness through the AARP SILVER SNEAKERS program for seniors 65+ and couldn't be more PLEASED with this facility! The equipment is always super clean and wiped down and the lady who runs the this Roswell Road location (Kayla) always goes out of her way to make sure everything is going OK with the workout

Finding a personal trainer that you connect with, pushes you just enough that you hate those last few reps but LOVE the results and is available first thing in the morning is a rare find, but Mike Ferguson is that trainer! Twice a week I train with Mike and start my day with a great workout! No matter what your age or fitness level Mike will help you reach your goals!

During our membership, we had an amazing experience. The gym has always been clean, staff is very helpful, and has all the equipment we need. The only issue I have currently been experiencing is being able to cancel our membership. I’ve called multiple times and being active duty military it’s been difficult trying to handle this for a while now from California.
