    SEF is exactly what I needed. This is a small, yet well-outfitted private studio that specializes in high impact interval training (HIIT). The trainers are creative and personable and sessions are reasonably priced without having to sign away your firstborn with a contract. It's not for everyone, but if this is your lane, do yourself a favor and give them a call.

    I love Sweat Equity Fitness! LaVar and Brian are great; and they train indoors, outdoors, and virtual. Agility, strength training, conditioning and stamina, weight loss - they do it all. Both are athletes and certified. I believe your first session is free, and their bootcamps are tough! They also started doing virtual bootcamps, which have been a fun way to connect and stay active during this crazy time. Highly recommended!

    BEST PLACE EVER! My daughter and I wanted a place to work out together to have a trainer since we are beginners- and we hit the jackpot with Sweat Equity Fitness!!! Glenn, the owner , was so helpful in the beginning getting us set up because we had no idea what we were doing and put us with two of the best trainers!! LeVar and Brian are the bomb! They are so positive. So full of energy. So knowledgeable. And my daughter and I love going twice a week together to work out with them. We just started and are so happy here. Not to mention they are helping us to get in shape and feel stronger! The first time I’ve ever really looked forward to working out! If you haven’t found your spot yet this is it! 💪🏼

    I enjoy every session even though I’m dying by the end 😂. But I appreciate how Lavar pushes me to another level. Brian and Lavar are awesome and my training goes by fast, which I appreciate. The owner Glenn communication is fantastic, and customer service is A-1.

    As a mother of a busy toddler and expecting a second one, I found it very hard to consistently make time for fitness. I ran occasionally and did yoga, but it was never enough. Often I went weeks without do anything when work or travel got in the way. Hiring a personal trainer has been one of the best decisions and investments since becoming a mother. No matter what kind of week Im having--crazy, nonstop, etc--my time for fitness doesn't go away. Finding time to work with a personal trainer is easy and now Im not wasting money on yoga packages that I never used. A personal trainer is worth every penny--in fact I think I save more in the long run now. Try it out and you will see!

    The guys at Sweat Equity have helped me get into a consistent, healthy exercise routine—and I couldn't be happier with their training! The workouts are varied and challenging, generally focused on high intensity interval training with a few extras (like boxing) thrown in for good measure. The location is intimate and personal, which makes it not at all intimidating. Most importantly, the trainers all know their stuff and are great coaches—really glad to have found them!

    My gym of choice for almost three years. It’s a M,W,Fri sort of thing for me. First trained by the owner Glenn and then by LaVar and Brian. I am supremely happy with their efforts to keep me interested and motivated. If I can keep this up, any one can. Y’all definitely need to try.

    I began training with LaVar and Brian in September after a close family member had hip surgery. For me, that was a wake up call that I needed to do more to take care of myself. I liked LaVar from the first session: he was patient, not too rah-rah, but still encouraging. I began alternating with Brian shortly after, and like both of their workout styles: LaVar uses more weights whereas Brian uses more body weight exercises. Both are challenging in different ways. The best thing about both Brian and LaVar is that they change up my workout every week, so that I never get bored. This is the longest I've EVER stuck with a workout regimen and so much of the credit goes to Sweat Equity!

    I have been training with Glenn since I moved to Midtown 7 years ago, and kept with him due to his level of devotion, accountability, and personalized workouts. The gym is perfect location for anyone working Downtown or Intown. Lavar and Brian are fantastic trainers as well, each with their own work-out style. They care about your goals, how you're feeling that day and change up the workouts so it's not boring. I'd highly recommend this personal fitness gym.

    My wife and I started working out together a few months back after being inactive for several years. The best thing we did for ourselves was to invest in our health. Although we still have a ways to go, we are committed to the journey and to Sweat Equity Fitness. They have helped us get back on track and we actually like going to work out. The trainers are personable, friendly, and encouraging. The workouts are always different and creative, which breaks the monotony of typical gyms. Highly recommend!
