CNN news channel is one of my favorite daily news networks to watch every day. I have visit the CNN center near Centennial Olympic park twice it a nice place to visit downtown of Atlanta, Georgia. The entire CNN tour was very educational and the tickets were very reasonable. I wish finding a place to park my car, was not so far and the parking meters were all full. The CNN center is truly one of the most beautiful building downtown of Atlanta, Georgia

This was my 1st trip to Atlanta from the UK so the CNN building was on my list of places to go in the city. We decided we wasn't going to do the tour as time was short and we had other plans. We still really enjoyed ourselves just being there. The building is huge and seems like there is so much to do. The tour cost was $16.30 which is really good for what you could see. We went into the Cartoon Network store as my daughter loves it. I brought a few things for her as gifts. The staff were very helpful and the building busy. The next time I'm in Atlanta we will definitely be doing the tour.

This tour is a great way to learn, watch and listen to the elements behind the formation of stories presented by CNN. You get to see the technology, live broadcasts and how all of this comes together to make a live newscast. My only gripe is they try to sell you a picture at a news desk, and you are not allowed to use your camera like other places I have visited. I understand this is a tour (business), but they should allow visitors to take their own pictures at the top of the escalator.

Most one-sided biased news station on the planet. Only representing what's positive for their party and nothing else. Nothing to do with real journalism just what fits in their agenda

What happened to this place?!? I remember it 15-20yrs ago when CNN still had viewers - it was full of people and it was exciting to visit, to go up the elevator and see the studios, to visit the gift shops. Are they indeed bankrupt? This was during business hours and everyone I asked assured me that they're working yet it's hard to see any action there... Not recommended and no need to pull off the road for a visit. CNN was fun pace long time ago and not anymore. I guess no one is interested in them nowadays.

I often watch news programs. It was a holiday when I visited, so there weren't many people, but the atmosphere was very good. The interior is also cool.

Good experience if you don’t take any bag that looks like a duffel bag. There is no locker to leave the bag. Family friendly attractions 50 minutes of tour for base package. The food court has lot of fast food options.

First time I ever came to CNN Center was on my South Cobb High School field trip when I was in 10th grade back then. In the early 2020 (before the worldwide COVID-19) same time I was worked on a Atlanta United game I first stopped at the place years later. I enjoy coming to the CNN Center for occasions and stopping by to see how the place is like it was back then when I was just a teenager.

The CNN building tour is very interesting if you are looking to get into broadcasting at all. The staff were extremely friendly and informative. I came here with some friends, who aren't as interested as I am, but they seemed to have a good enough time too. There's a food court here which has a pretty good selection, I just had a sandwich but it was fine. I think it's a fun and informative tour.

For the amount that we paid for, I personally think that the tour was a bit short. Our tour guide is great and talked to us about the history of CNN and how they produce their shows. It has been very informative. There is a lot of walking involved so better wear comfy shoes. 😊 if you’re interested in media or journalism, it’s worth definitely doing!

Great experience. You get to know and learn a lot about how the cameras work behind the screen, their broadcasting techniques and a lot more. Live feeds and weather forecast presentation was interesting. Its more like a walking tour, the cnn guy takes you along providing info about each stop. Be prepared to go down some stairs as you complete the tour. The tour lasts for about 30 to 40 min. Watch the tv screen on the top right in the weather video😁. Photos are allowed inside only till a particular point.

Been here twice both times was amazing. Kids loved being selected to be on the green screen . It was a good tour there is gift shops and food courts available. The workers are allowed to bring pets so you may see a cute yellow lab sitting with his owner ! If you watch cnn you will see the are of live recording which is nice to see .

This place holds a very very special place in my heart. I pray to God every night that when CNN Center closes (typing that brought tears to my eyes) that they will continue these tours at Techwood. One of the most important features of CNN is that it is accessible to the public. Please keep it that way!

Great experience at the CNN Studio Tours. Our guide, Bryant, was very informative. If you're visiting Atlanta, i strongly suggest you add the CNN Studio Tours to your go to list. The only thing I failed to understand was: why were there so many police officers accompanying us throughout our CNN tour? The security there was literally more than in airports.

A cuteeeee place!!! The bears are so cuteeee. It’s sad that the CNN tour is closed and the CN shop did not open…. If you need to store your baggage(big size is not allowed in the building, you can go to Valet, the lowest flower to save your stuff. It’s free!!

Very cool place with lots of informative information. Backstage entry tour was great! However, you can only take pictures in rooms 1 and 2. In addition, they didn't give enough time for photos considering that they only let us take pictures in 2 rooms. Also, security is ALWAYS with you throughout the tour. If you are handicapped please ask before coming for accommodations because the tour is COMPLETELY WALKING!! Good besides these things.

Get yourself a CNN tour ticket whenever you visit Atlanta. I had a fun and educative tour. The place is historic and a bacon of light in the news casting industry. No videos or pictures after the second room though but overall it was great. I recommend.

If you want to learn how news broadcasting works this place is good. Went with kids not much for kids and for me too it’s not appealing as tickets are pricey and all we get is lectures about how studio works. A short movie about cnn to start the guided tour followed by guide showing different rooms. At the start of tour you are asked to pose as news anchors but that picture costs me 41$. They ll give 4 pics of different sizes. It’s a choice you have to make whether to go this tour. Overall it was ok experience for us.

Not even close to the love-filled magic they advertise all the time. Totally fake, I agree with many here. Even the trees and plants are plastic. Unless you enjoy walking aimlessly through hospital corridors, I believe it's best to stay away from CNN altogether. 1.4 STARS

If You are in Atlanta this is one of the β€œA Must” do attractions not only is educational but also very interesting tour. The tour will introduce you to a behind the scenes kind of tour where you can enjoy some of the history as to how this huge Cable News Network was created. You will also be using the longest stand alone escalators around the world (pretty cool) and once you finish the tour you will be able to get some food in the food court with plenty of options! One thing I will have to mention is that you are only allowed to take pictures on the beginning of the tour and once you pass the third stage photos are not allowed and phones must be kept away. It is just amazing to be able to get so close to where some of the biggest news are air live every day.

It's empty. Everything it's close now, even the cartoon network store. Only some restaurants and that's it. They don't have the tour anymore as well. It was a waste of time. We just went for the picture at the CNN sign that's it.

Been here a few times now and have always had a most excellent experience. I absolutely LOVE all the underwater exhibits. The fish are gorgeous and I could sit and stare at the super big floor to 2/3 story windowed aquarium for hours. Just so relaxing. But with a child tugging on my sleeve, it never goes longer than 5 minutes. Hey, a girl can dream, right? Anyway, is highly recommend you check this place out. Fun for all ages! The 4 out of 5 stars is parking is kinda expensive but to be expected in Los Angeles, CA.

Came here for a field trip with my sons first grade class and it was a nice experience. The planetarium experience was really cool and the kids were amazed at what they saw. The aquarium was awesome too and the kids loved seeing the big fishes and all the "Dory's" in the tank. I know it's expensive to get into this place but it's a good experience for the kids.

Nice building. You could tell the workers are accustomed to tourists! They knew what needed before we asked. Very nice and so willing to help. But, let's talk about this food court CNN. Where are the vegan spots? Not vegan options but the place being vegan. This day and age, there def needs to be more vegan options/spots here.

  • 4/5 Avery W. 1 year ago on Google
Big open space, great for group get togethers and over night stays since there’s an attached/adjacent hotel too. The restaurant selection is a bit limited within the building but there’s plenty of other options around Atlanta. I personally had a burger from BurgerFi, it was alright, a bit dry. Other than that, it’s a pretty cool place to look around, definitely one of the Atlanta’s major landmarks.

Excellent, loved it. Always wanted a tour of a broadcasting station. Even though we were restricted to certain parts but something is better than nothing. Give her a raise.

It's not everyday you get to see what goes on behind the scene of a news network. The cable news network is the 1st 24 hrs network who revolutionized news broadcasting. Of course depending on the right side of political spectrum May make the difference however people van enjoy the view of the tour that is given in this headquarter of the cable news news network. Not a lot of picture or video you can take but you get to know a lot of interesting stuff. Enjoy.
