Overall,
a
great
museum.
We
spent
several
hours
there
and
truly
enjoyed
the
exhibits.
The
items
in
the
history
of
Georgia
visit
are
a
bit
dated,
but
all
of
the
other
exhibits
are
fantastic.
Just
a
few
things
I
wish
I
had
known
before
we
went:
The
museum
closes
at
5pm
but
the
Cafe
closes
at
3pm
(but
you
don't
notice
those
limited
hours
if
the
Cafe
doors
are
propped
open).
So,
if
you
are
staying
until
closing,
plan
ahead
for
something
to
eat
or
drink.
There
is
only
one
water/soda
vending
machine
in
the
museum,
and
it
was
completely
empty
except
for
diet
Coke.
And
unfortunately,
you
don't
know
it
is
empty
until
after
you
put
your
money
in
and
start
making
a
selection.
The
outdoor
trails
are
beautiful;
however,
a
"heads
up"
to
parents
with
younger
children.
There
are
sections
in
the
forest
that
are
labeled
"Copperhead
Habitat"
but
you
don't
see
the
signs
until
you
are
right
on
top
of
them.
I
would
advise
not
letting
your
kids
get
too
far
away
from
you.
We
did
not
see
any
Copperheads,
but
there
really
should
be
a
warning
about
this
BEFORE
you
get
in
that
section
of
the
forest
(especially
since
most
of
the
outdoor
areas
are
geared
towards
children.
And
finally,
be
careful
going
down
the
steps
inside
the
museum.
The
way
they
are
colored/textured,
they
start
to
visually
run
together
and
it
is
very,
very
easy
to
misstep.
Hopefully,
none
of
that
comes
across
as
negative
toward
the
museum--just
some
things
I
wish
I
had
known
beforehand.
Again,
the
exhibits
were
great--definitely
worth
a
visit.
